Masquerade Ball & Trick-or-Treat Maze
In an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of Birch, the annual Birch Masquerade Ball takes place! The mansion is rumored to be haunted by more than a few Ghost-types, but is definitely home to many Pokemon with some haunting abilities at the very least.
Masquerade Ball
Most of the ground floor of the mansion is sealed off, but the massive ball room with its winding staircases is open for the ball. Participants are required to dress up and wear a mask. Pokemon-themed attire is encouraged, but only formal-wear and a mask is required.
The room is fogged by many illusory powers provided by a mixture of ghost-types, Zoroark, and Musharna, making it impossible to recognize anyone by their face or voice within the ballroom. The only way to know someone's identity is to be told or to otherwise know their costume in advance.
In order to participate, simply post a thread in Birch with the Event tag along with any other applicable tags. Please use the description field to write in Masquerade to distinguish from the maze event!
You are only allowed to take one Pokemon into the Ball with you, and it must be 6 feet tall or less.
For every thread you complete or have posted at least 5 times in by Nov 30 at 11:59pm, you will receive the following rewards in addition to normal page-based thread rewards.
Rewards:
Trick-or-Treat Maze
Up the stairs from the ballroom and down the hall, one will find a singular door. Mysteriously, which room it leads to constantly changes, as do the rooms accessible from there. Each time you enter a room, the door locks behind you, meaning you can only move forward until you either complete the maze or are ejected by the Pokemon inside.
Once ejected, you cannot re-enter the maze. The Pokemon are very particular.
You are only allowed to take one Pokemon into the Maze with you, and it must be 6 feet tall or less.
In addition to treats gained inside the maze, you will receive the following rewards based on how many rooms you clear. They stack, so if you clear for instance 7 rooms, you also get the prizes for 3 and 5.
