Poor Zeit, it looks like he's really knocked out. However, the Arcanine knows... If he doesn't fight the two Pokemons, Azur does not have any winning chances. Especially against that Flabebe. The Plusle probably would be fine against the other... Zeit was unable to battle further because he got knocked out now though, so Azur just currently letting him rest while he idly brush Zeit's fur. "...Zeit, sorry, I don't have any revive on hand at the moment..."
The Pokemon barked at him, as if saying that it's alright. Currently, several of his Pokemon is out too. Ciela the Blissey is rubbing Zeit as if trying to make sure he's fine. Azur too, gently pat him, hoping to soothe his pains. He probably can't go out like this... so it's probably far better to just keep him in his balls n---
The sound of something falling alarmed Azur. "...That was a big one, eh, E--" That's when he noticed that Ettie isn't around. "Ettie...!?"
The young nurse jumped to his feet. He doesn't care whatever. He run to the entrance, and found Ettie looking so shocked. Azur looked around in shock, trying to gauge the situation. Has anyone been crushed under that tree? Could they survive!? Azur looked for any sign of blood before calming himself down. No blood, just a Pokeball.. Is that a Nest Ball?
"Ettie, are you alright? Shalin too... What happened? Why are you all over here?" he asked.
Then he gently pat Ettie. "...Is there someone under there, Ettie?" Azur asked. "Are you well?"
And then he saw the Misdreavus from before... Oh? That's where he is. "Hey little fella! Thank you very much for helping us... uh... well, I wasn't sure when you're around for the battle... so, would you like to come with us?" Azur offered a Nest Ball to it. Whether the catch going to be fail or not, he have no idea, but he have no idea. After that Beauty tried to capture him, he's fine if he decide to not come with them instead.
"...Ettie... if you need to heal it, just say... for the meantime though, let's hide from this storm, alright? Do any of you got any way to start fire? Zeit unfortunately... is unable to battle and is recuperating..." ooc: uses Net Ball to befriend the Misdreavus after protecting it from Trainer Babs! Ettie was only vaguely aware that Shalin and Azur both had arrived on the scene, as she - still as a statue - stared down at the Nest Ball that the Popplio rested within. Their voices, alongside the howling of the wind and the pelting of the rain, all felt distant; as if muffled or drowned out by her own heartbeat, which was only just starting to calm down. The only thing that she consciously registered, was the nest ball that she had tried to catch the Popplio with - that it'd shake once... Twice... Thrice...
... Before clicking, as it finally came to a stop. Not realizing that she was holding her breath, Ettie would suck in a sudden breath as she finally came back to reality. She'd still be quiet for a few moments; glancing to her two traveling companions, and then to the Furfrou, who was trying to usher her back into the cave. The other wild pokemon who had witnessed the whole scene seemed to have returned inside as well, in the wake of the storm being almost on top of them now. As she processed this change in her surroundings, she'd nod - "S-sorry... I'm okay," She'd murmur to both Azur and Shalin - picking up the Nest Ball, and standing up. "We should all, uhm... Head back inside.." Her pant legs and shoes were muddy, but she didn't care; instead carefully, gently, cradling the ball close to her chest in one hand - the opposite hand stroking over the top of it - as she headed back inside with Shalin and Azur both.
This had been a scary situation. A very scary one. Who knew what might've happened, if she didn't act in time? "I.. I don't think anyone's hurt?" Ettie would explain to Azur - glancing in his direction. She definitely wasn't hurt, even if her heart had been hammering before - and neither was the Furfrou. "But..." She'd glance to the Nest ball, a frown crossing her face as she admitted "... Everything was also kind of... A blur." Trying to think back to even the scene a few minutes ago, it felt like all the memories were muddled and mushed together to a slight degree; leaving her needing time before she'd be able to properly sort through it. So, instead, she'd simply try to focus on the now.
Which, included the question of starting a fire. Furrowing her brows in thought for a second, Ettie would suddenly perk up, as if remembering something. "Oh yeah!" Digging out Princess' pokeball, she'd let out the sleepy Snubbull - who, while half-awake, would glance to everyone with a look that read 'the heck do you want?' Kneeling down to Princess' level, Ettie would pat the large Snubbull on the head, asking "Could you help Azur start a fire with your Fire Fang, please Princess? Make sure to cooperate with Shalin's pokemon, too, if she has one of hers help out!"
Though the Snubbull grumbled a little, she seemed to relent - if only because the headpats were nice, and because Ettie always asked so nicely. (The fact that Ettie usually rewarded her with a nice massage was always a big plus, too.) Princess would lumber over to Azur's side, glancing up to him expectantly for whatever instructions he'd have for her. The Snubbull would also cast glances to Shalin - as if waiting to see whether the wild rider would volunteer a pokemon to the fiery cause of, well, starting a fire.
In fact... While they're in the safety of the cave, Ettie figured that there'd be no harm in letting the others out, right? Pulling out Anne's and Duchess' pokeballs, Ettie would let out the two sisters as well - the two pups stretching and shaking off any excess nervous energy as they were let out. Almost immediately, the two pups would turn around to her and the Furfrou, barking, insistently sniffing and circling around them, both sisters wanting to make sure that their pack was doing okay..! Could they smell the tinge of anxiety that Ettie had on her, from during the Popplio incident? Ettie, smiling softly, would sit down with her pack - patting Anne's and Duchess' heads, as they snuggled up to her. "I'm okay, promise..!" She'd laugh, nearly toppled over by the fussy puppies..!
... At least, that was until the duo noticed Zeit, conked out on the floor. Near immediately, Anne and Duchess both would become concerned - the duo running over to the Arcanine's side, sniffing him, circling about him, and making soft inquisitive yips - asking him what happened, if he was hurt, if someone needed to be sucker punched-...
Ettie, watching the duo's fussiness, couldn't help a soft laugh; smiling gently. She supposed Zeit tuckered himself out a bit too much in that trainer fight; even if she wasn't there to see what, exactly, had led to that happening. Though, while the pups were preoccupied with Zeit... Maybe she oughta check on the Popplio, too; the nest ball still being clutched close to her chest. Giving the ball a small toss, she would let out the little Water-Type inside, ready to see how the sea lion within was doing.
The Popplio, initially, would be curled up in a ball; shaking, cowering as if he still thought that he was in danger - though he was, otherwise, quite unhurt. However, upon realizing that they were someplace else - and not outside, underneath that ancient tree... He would slowly, but surely, uncurl himself; eyes slowly and warily peering around. He'd quickly realize that he was back in the cave that everyone was taking shelter in - out of the storm - and before long, he'd notice Ettie...! Did.... Did she save him...? Carefully, the Popplio would slowly tilt his head to one side - regarding the comparatively larger trainer - and do a soft and inquisitive bark.
This sound would make Ettie perk up curiously; not expecting this pokemon to sound like a puppy, even if the bark wasn't quite like a canine pokemon's bark...! Slowly and surely, she'd tilt her head as well - in the opposite direction - as she looked to the Popplio... "Arf..?" ... and would softly bark in response...! The Popplio, curiously, would be quiet for a couple seconds to mull over this strange human's response, before barking again- bouncing a bit closer.
This seemed to make Ettie perk up even more, however; her eyes lighting up curiously. Could it be, that this Popplio was like... Some sort of mer-puppy?! She'd never seen one before, so she was very curious, to say the least...! And in her opinion, it wasn't like the theory was unfounded; if the Popplio barked like a puppy, had a muzzle and floppy ears like a puppy, and even sort of had paws like a puppy... What stopped this Popplio, from just being a weird water canine?? Grinning brightly at this, Ettie would hunker down at the Popplio's level, greeting him "Hi there, puppy...!"
The Popplio, intrigued by Ettie's behavior and friendly demeanor, would respond with another bark in greeting..! The Furfrou, curiosity intrigued, would watch the interactions all the while - relaxing nearby, and keeping an eye on the Lillipup egg. OOC: Static is active, 2 rolls left on electric incense

"Thank Celebi, I thought I'd lost you two," Shalin panted, rainwater dripping from her clothes, the bottom half of her legs half-covered in splashed mud. "Nice find, Azur! I didn't think there would be anything like this so close to the coast...seems spacious enough for all of us, too."
When asked about fire, Shalin answered him, "I have Caprice, but she's too big to go very deep in here. The other problem is any wood you might have for a fire might be too wet. We'd also need a flying Pokémon to dry it out enough to ignite. Worst case scenario, I have a Skuntank that can use Flamethrower, but I'd rather not rely on him in such close quarters. Maybe I'll show him to you when the storm passes."
At the very least, Caprice would have some help - Ettie had released a Snubbull that apparently knew a Fire-type attack. Fire Fang, the young dog lover had said. That might be even better for drying out some of these soaked timbers. "I'm still a bit worried we won't be able to actually start a fire with wood that's so--"
Crackle, crackle, BOOM! THUD!
Shalin tensed up, unable to see what was going on outside. "Raikou must be really angry," she said after the deafening rumbles of thunder indistinguishable from the legendary Pokémon's cry stopped. Not too long after that, she could hear the sound of snapping wood - a tree or two must have been snapped to pieces. While she had the downtime, she related to the other two the story of the three Beasts of Johto, quadrupedal guardians of Johto with speed unparalleled among land Pokémon. She wasn't sure how much the others were paying attention, but hey, it passed the time.
After one of the slowest-passing hours in Shalin's recent memory, the terribly powerful lightning had stopped, and the heavy rains with it too. "I'm going outside - I'll be right back," she told Azur and Ettie. There was blue sky to the west - a sign that this was just a pop-up thunderstorm. Quite a large one, but her day wouldn't be completely ruined. Just as she was about to come back inside, Shalin spotted two half-buried Net Balls - looks like the last person to use this cave was a bit hasty in leaving!
"Looks like that was just a flash in the pan," she reported, returning to the cove's interior while holding the two muddy Net Balls in her hands. "Once the rest of this rain passes, it'll be sunny, but a bit on the cool side for a swim, sadly. Levy is probably not too happy about now. If you wanted to get to Cherry Town, riding might be faster."
Looks like everything is fine with Ettie... He just noticed the ball... it apparently just responded now? Talk about a high strung moment... "If there's no one hurt that's good. Also Shalin, I thought about that too... but I don't have any flying type. I guess there's no other way than to huddle together instead. How about you girls...? Did you happened to be wet from the rain? I have Zeit to snuggle with, but I have no idea about you guys..."
Raikou is angry... Azur just grinned at it. "Couldn't you say that's Rayquaza instead? Or Thundurus? Either way, light humor aside, Azur examined at Ettie carefully for any sign of injury while listening to Shalin's tale. He was worried about Ettie's close proximity to the fallen tree, hoping there are no splinters hitting her to cause any sort of injury... Everything was kind of a blur, she said... "That it is. That's what a shocking event do to you. Your brain won't comprehend what just happened, and it just... pretty much short circuiting if you want to put it that way. It didn't register in your brain because it's something "out of normal" if we want to put it that way. Basically, you're too shocked of what happened."
As for Princess, Azur shook his head. "Sorry for bothering you. Looks like we don't quite have any material to burn to begin with. I'll just ask you all to please stay close to Ettie so she can get some warmth, alright?"
As for the fact that Zeit was conked out, it seems that both Duchess and Anne is worried about his condition. The Arcanine smiled and licks them to reassure them he's doing fine. At the question whether someone have to be sucker punched, Gusios shuddered while Tristan just looked away. Zeit meanwhile made a sound as if he's laughing. He barked at them, albeit a tired bark, that he wasn't cheated in his battle or anything. He just had to fight two Pokemons of higher level than him. He further explained that the others are babies or not suited for direct confrontation, similar to Ciela who only knows one attacking move. In the end he have to took it to his own hand to make sure that no one will get hurt, so that the Misdreavus won't get caught. In the end he won against one, and took down another. That's what he said.
"Zeit, here..."
Azur handed him some rare candies. It's to praise him for his good work. "You have done good. Tristan and Gusios too, you too eat these."
Tristan was uncharacteristically silent when he took the rare candies and pops it to his mouth. Gusios also do the same, albeit seem to be far more cheerful about it. Either way, Zeit told the two to not worry about him, and that he will be fine sooner or later. He nuzzled Anne and barked at Duchess to tell her to follow Anne's lead in protecting the group, because he can't do it at the meantime.
And there's the sight of the Popplio! Its cute, that's for sure. Azur wasn't sure what is Ettie doing... perhaps she didn't thought that the Popplio is a caniformia? It's a puppy friend! Semantics with whether a sea lion is a true dog or not, scientifically it's classified as one. He laughed when Ettie barked back at him. Such an Ettie response. He instead took his time in checking whether the Popplio need any medical attention... but it's no surprise that he did not find any sort of wound on him. What just happened anyway that it somehow gone this far?
Shalin left to check the situation... As for him... suddenly, among the Pokemons who tried to gather for shelter, one rose from their seat. Has Zeit's fight caught its attention? It pointed at Azur's Pokemons, as if challenging them for a battle. That one is a... Stufful it seems? Tristan immediately stepped forward. He was oddly quiet, but regardless ready.
"Tristan, you were wounded... Be careful."
Tristan, instead of replying hostilely like usual, nodded in understanding. That was a little change, it seems. He stepped forward to meet the Stufful in a stand off... And immediately they strike! First, Tristan uses Confusion toward the Stufful. It being a super effective move affected it, but what's good is that it caused the Stufful's attack to miss and instead hurt itself in its confusion! Tristan does not like to repeat moves if he can, and thus immediately followed with a Disarming Voice to ensure that his attack hits the Stufful! The Stufful take it directly, groaning in pain. It attempted to once again hit Tristan... This time with Payback! But Tristan, seem to learn more than a move recently, immediately activated double team. The attack did not hit him, but an illusion of his! He finally finished it with another Confusion, ending the match.
He looked at Zeit and said something to it... something along the line of 'I respect you' perhaps, as Zeit simply bark in happiness. Though for those who knows Poketalk, Tristan is actually saying something in line of that he won't give up and he won't lose to Zeit. Zeit seem to be fine with it, telling him to come at him anytime when he's ready. Tristan, in rare moment, grinned at the Arcanine in friendly manner.
"...I don't know what happened, but good for you guys, huh!"
Zeit barked happily. Shalin then returned, saying something along that the coast is almost clear from any lightning. "I see.. Well, it's not like we're particularly hasty in going to go there, but good to hear that it's not a long storm. I'm kind of worried that we have to stay here somehow..."
Ride, huh... "Sorry, but I don't think that Zeit is big enough to carry me at the moment. It might be when he grew up, but at the moment? Don't think so." Grew up? Did he say grew up? Eh whatever. Azur gently ran his hand on the Arcanine's fur. "...Sorry, but do you mind if I lay on you a bit?"
Zeit shook his head a no. He even seem to like it! Azur's Current Party: Tristan (Ralts) Lv9 3/5 Gusios (Bagon) Lv9 5/5 Zeit (Arcanine) Lv11 -knocked out- Ciela (Blissey) Lv4 5/5 Scathach (Toxel) Lv1 5/5 ??? (Pichu) lv3 5/5
Seemed that they didn't exactly have much in the way of actually dry firewood in the first place, and wouldn't be able to start a fire as a result. Princess grumbled a bit - displeased that she had been woken up for no real reason at all - and would expressed this aforementioned displeasure with a firm bark at Azur, before she'd lumber over to Ettie. Really; shouldn't they have made sure that they had the means to make a fire before waking her up like this? People these days... They had no respect for the art and luxury of a good nap time...! What use was taking a nap, if people were going to interrupt it for silly and pointless reasons??
Ettie would make a soft and sympathetic chuckle as Princess flopped and curled up in her lap; the sleepy Snubbull already getting comfortable, to try and get back to sleep. Any grumpiness that Princess might've still had would quickly melt away though, as Ettie began gently massaging the Snubbull's back; softly humming to her all the while. Princess would let out a huff as her expression softened, and any tension was released from her body. Ahhh yessss, this was just what she needed to calm back down... Nuzzling Ettie, Princess would yawn widely, before letting her head rest against the young girl's chest; all the while continuing to receive a nice massage.
Meanwhile, there was Zeit - who Duchess and Anne were both fussing over, upon having noticed that he had been knocked out. The gentle licks from the comparatively larger Arcanine would get them both to settle down; the two of them instead opting to lay down next to him, to spend time with him. As he reassured them that no one needed to be sucker punched, that he simply had a couple of tough fights with stronger pokemon, the two pups would relax; though their mutual amazement at Zeit's feat would have their eyes lit up, tails wagging. Duchess would even voice this amazement - yipping about how impressed she was! And Anne, too, would bark her agreement; nuzzling Zeit, and praising him for a job well done.
As Azur took the time to pass out candies though, Ettie would've been mulling over Shalin's story - the story about the three legendary beasts, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou... "They all sort of sound like they're kind of..." Ettie paused, trying to find her words. "Like... Like they're nature itself, in a way!" She'd chirp this with her eyes lighting up, and a bright smile on her face, as she found her words and glanced to Shalin. "With Entei and volcanoes, Raikou and storms, and Suicune and pools of water!" She'd fall quiet for a few seconds, thinking, before glancing down to Princess - the Snubbull having once more dozed off in her lap - musing out loud "I wonder if anyone's ever gotten to meet the legendary beasts up close; I'd certainly love to meet one myself, one day...! I know that everyone had chances to see them, all those years ago, but..."
Ettie would begin to trail off; supposing that bringing up an event like the Ultra Beast attack all those years ago might not be appropriate. Instead, she'd shake her head, before glancing over to Azur - questioning "I know that there were a pair of humans, who fought alongside Zacian and Zamazenta, in that old story you mentioned once! Do you know any other stories, where humans and legendaries meet up close, and befriend each other like that? People who have been able to go on big adventures, with a Legendary Pokemon?" The subject was a rather intriguing one to the young girl; with how elusive and isolated Legendary Pokemon usually are, are there those who have been able to meet them up close, in the passing years..? Surely, at least one person has to have met them, for legends of old about these pokemon to exist at all!
As Zeit munched down the rare candies though, and he told Duchess to follow Anne's lead in protecting anyone, the young Electrike would suddenly sit up straight; as if listening to the instructions of a higher-ranking sergeant! She would salute with a paw, and barked an affirmative; eager to make those she looked up to proud, by looking after everyone the best she could...! She wasn't about to let anyone down or get hurt, anytime soon..! Anne, amused at Duchess' enthusiasm over it all, would reciprocate Zeit's nuzzle, while smiling in the Electrike's direction. Duchess was a capable reliable soul, even if she was still growing, and a very excitable pup on top of it. Anne, safe to say, trusted in her younger sister.
As Shalin moved to leave the cave, Ettie would glance over to the rider, and waved to her - swinging her arm widely - calling to the other "Okay! Be safe!" with a bright smile. Shalin's company so far had been a pleasant and interesting one - she had such huge pokemon, all of which Ettie found so stunning. Caprice, of course, stood out the most to her, however; given that the large Ninetales was technically a canine. Hopefully, the fox would be able to really relax with other people one day; being nervous about everyone sounded like it'd be lonely, if it weren't for the fact that Caprice had her trainer and teammates to help keep her company...!
Meanwhile though, it seemed that a brawl is surely brewing...! A Stufful came up to Azur's pokemon, seemingly asking for a fight - which Tristan was more than happy to provide, stepping forward near-immediately..! Anne and Duchess both would have their interests piqued, as they hunkered down to watch the fight that was about to begin...
... Or, at least, they would be hunkering down to watch the fight; if it weren't for the fact that a sudden jolt of electricity, out of seemingly nowhere, would zap Duchess! The young Electrike would yelp - unhurt due to being an electric type, and being more surprised than anything - as she suddenly stood up. After briefly licking the spot where she had been zapped, Duchess would begin glancing about - trying to see if she could spot just who the perpetrator was...!
And the offender, as it turned out, was a young small Pichu - perhaps about Duchess' age! The cheeky little mouse pokemon stood a short distance away; cheeks sparking with electricity, and brows furrowed - he was visibly eager to tussle..! Not too far from the baby mouse pokemon, sat what were presumably the parents - a Raichu and a Togedemaru, both looking a bit exasperated at their child's antics - and near the duo were two other Pichu, who seemed to be cheering their rambunctious brother on...!
Ettie couldn't help some amusement at this - a hand stroking over the Popplio's head in an affectionate gesture, and her opposite hand stroking over Princess' back, as she watched both the fight between Tristan and the Stufful, as well as watched the Pichu trying to pick a fight with Duchess! The Popplio would tilt his head a little bit - wondering how the Electrike was going to handle this situation - whereas Princess would simply watch with a half-lidded gaze, internally rooting her sister on.
Duchess, initially, was unsure how to approach the Pichu's challenge; this would be her first spar - beyond the play-fights and play-wrestles she'd have with her siblings and Azur's pokemon - with another pokemon from outside the pack, and outside of Azur's pokemon too...! However... Thinking to how Zeit wanted her to follow Anne's lead, in keeping the pack safe... Duchess wanted to make them proud, and prove that she could protect everyone, too! With that in mind, the young Electrike would bark in agreement to the Pichu's challenge - letting out a low yet playful growl - and pounce forward, in a Tackle...!
The Pichu, seemingly surprised that Duchess would accept the fight and jump in surprisingly, would end up being struck by the tackle - being sent tumbling back a short distance by the impact. However, the small and speedy mouse was able to quickly get back onto his feet - and immediately, his cheeks would begin to glow and spark as he used Charge in preparation, so as to power up a future Thunder Shock...!
The two electric types, as it quickly turned out, had a bit of an odd fight on their hands; though Duchess would, ultimately, have the advantage. Given that neither of them could be paralyzed, both pokemons' Static abilities were going to do nothing to either of them. On top of this, though Pichu was fast and able to dodge, he was unable to hit very hard with his Thunder Shock - even after Charge - and his tail whip didn't exactly do anything to make his special attack any more potent!
However, on the other hand, Duchess might've not been able to put her Thunder Wave to much use - for the same reason that both pokemons' Static abilities were obsolete - but... With both her Tackle and a comparatively stronger (even if not very effective) Thunder Fang, she was able to really put on the hurt; even without a move like Charge to make either attack any more potent...! And on top of that, Thunder Fang's ability to make the Pichu occasionally flinch, meant that she was doling out moves more often than the mouse could keep up with...!
As a result of Duchess' overall advantage, the energetic puppy would be able to easily whittle down the Pichu, and - eventually, given the fact that their moves were either weak, not very effective, or both - defeat the baby pokemon; the mouse being knocked back by one last Tackle, before he'd raise a hand in surrender as his tumbling came to a stop. Oof...
As the surrender was made, Duchess' demeanor would - almost instantly - change; the tension from the fight leaking out of her muscles as she began to slowly but surely calm, her tail slowly wagging all the while. She seemed to forget to check what the others thought of the fight, despite having originally wanted to garner praise and pride from them - and instead, would run up to check on her sparring partner! Carefully, she'd help nudge the Pichu up into an upright position - gently licking spots that she had bitten with Thunder Fang, much like how Anne would lick at any scratches and bruises left behind by her fights - and bark to the mouse, complimenting him on the good fight..! She wanted to be nice to him, even if he had started the fight - and she did, genuinely, have fun fighting him..!
Though the Pichu, initially, looked as though he were about to be a sore loser - it seemed hard for him to really stay upset, with the fussy licking and the compliment! The little electric type's tail and ears would twitch, as though thinking it all over, before nodding - squeaking his own compliments back to Duchess, as he staggered back to his family to get some well-deserved rest. The Raichu would pick him up and cradle him close - softly chittering praise - as they patted him on the head, the two Pichu siblings and the Togedemaru both gathering about to check up on their littlest family member.
Once Duchess began trotting back to the others - seeing that Tristan had finished his fight as well - Anne would run up to check on Duchess; briefly licking her fur to groom her, and softly barking praise. The Popplio, too, would curiously approach - though when he received a jolt from trying to pat Duchess, would briefly reconsider touching her fur while she was still this riled up. Perhaps he could handle Duchess' normal levels of static once she calmed back down, but until then? Being a water type sometimes had its downsides...! Duchess still seemed to appreciate the Popplio's attempts, though; barking in joy, at all of the attention!
Ettie, carrying Princess, would laugh as she moved over to Duchess; a hand ruffling the top of the happy Electrike's head. "You did great, Duchess; good girl!" She'd praise happily; and even Princess, too, would softly bark her own praise - the Snubbull hopping down from Ettie's arms, to snuggle up to her sister. Though Princess didn't emote all that much typically, a keen-eyed individual might spot the way her eyes squinted happily in a gentle smile as she nuzzled Duchess; softly grumbling out praise to her twin sister all the while.
However, as Duchess winded down from the fight, Ettie began to remember... She did still have those rare candies, that she had picked up with Azur; maybe she should give some to Duchess and Princess, while they were here? Sitting down, she'd pull out two handfuls of candy - one for Duchess, and one for Princess - and begin to unwrap them. "Here, you two; how about some rare candies? It'll help you both catch up to your siblings!" The two pups, visibly interested, would begin to munch down on the candies; eager to try this new treat out.
Meanwhile, Shalin would return from peeking outside - mentioning that this thunderstorm seemed to just be a brief one, and that things should be sunny and calm once it finishes passing through. Anne's tail began to wag, eager for this miserable rain to end already, and Ettie would nod in understanding. Though, there also came the question of how they'd ride there - given that Azur didn't have any pokemon that he could ride. "I don't think the Furfrou could handle more than one rider, either..." Ettie would comment softly; glancing to the canine in question, who was still watching over the egg, as well as occasionally casting glances at the other pokemon gathered in the cave.
Secretly, she didn't think that he'd be able to handle Azur at all, in fact! Azur was a big guy - tall, with lots of muscles, he was sure to be pretty heavy; he was much heavier than her, that much was for sure...! After thinking for a few seconds though, she'd glance to Shalin - asking "Do you think you have any big pokemon that would be okay with carrying Azur..?" with a slight tilt of her head. Shalin already showed that she had an interest in rideable pokemon, and that she had two huge pokemon...
... With that in mind, who knew what sort of pokemon, might be in those other pokeballs on her belt...? Surely, she had one that she could spare for Azur, right?
Either way, Ettie still had some leftover candies in her pocket - even after Duchess and Princess finished munching down on their own shares - though would pocket the extras; not wanting anyone to outlevel anyone else too quickly, and also not wanting to feed Duchess or Princess too many in one sitting. She was told by Azur that overfeeding rare candies was bad for pokemon, after all...! Instead, she'd decide to pocket them for now; figuring that she could save them for the Lillipup, to help them catch up with their siblings, whenever the egg hatched...!
And in fact, speaking of that egg... The Furfrou, as mentioned before, would be watching closely over it; curled around it to keep it warm, and gently licking the surface, as though grooming it. The egg had recently begun to wiggle and rock occasionally - a sign that it was close to hatching, the Kalosian canine understood. As a result, he wanted to stay close to it - to keep a close and careful eye on it, for when it did begin to hatch! And indeed, it seemed that he didn't have to wait for too much longer. Though he'd put his head on his front paws - resting and relaxing - it would end up being brief, when his keen ears would catch the faintest sound of a crack from the egg...!
Anne, Duchess, and Princess all would seem to hear the sound as well - the canines' heads all snapping in the direction of the egg, and beginning to run up to it, gathering around what was going to be their newest sibling! The Popplio didn't entirely understand what was going on, though followed nonetheless - and Ettie's eyes would light up in excitement, being able to guess what was going on...! "Shalin, Azur!" She'd call to the other two trainers - smiling quite giddily. "Come over, the egg's about to hatch...!" OOC: Factoring in rare candy use here.

The group of trainers hunkered down in the cave for an additional hour or so, Shalin sharing more of the story of the legendary Beasts of her home region. "Funny you mention a story like that - in Johto, we have one as well. I don't remember a lot of details - you'd have to ask my buddies Joah and Aravan about that. We all went to the same school, and Aravan was quite the history buff. I remember the gist of what he told me, though." Shalin flinched as cold water splashed onto her and Caprice, the Ninetales quick to fan her tails in an effort to dry off while helping the fire-types keep their shelter warm. It wasn't exactly cold outside, but it was about as cool as a mid-fall day; certainly well below seasonal averages.
"It was from a time centuries ago, well before Poké Ball technology was invented and you had to befriend Pokémon instead of catching them. There were two warring empires, where Johto and Kanto are now. Both of them had Pokémon, which were far more effective than traditional medieval warfare. It sounds similar to your Galarian story." She paused to collect her thoughts.
"...Long story short, three knights who befriended and rode Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, stopped a war that would have set mankind back centuries." She rolled her eyes. "I don't believe that part of the story, though - there is no way a human could be on a Pokémon that runs so fast. I do believe that they have adventured with many humans, though. There have been more documented encounters with those three legendary Pokémon than those of Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh combined, and some of a very few there are photographs of."
She turned back to Azur, Caprice turning around and fanning her Ember-lit tails toward the inside of the cave in an effort to heat the trainers and their small Pokémon up. She couldn't help but chuckle at the mentions of Thundurus and Rayquaza. "I'm a Johto girl, so that's what some of us say. I'm sure every region has people that attribute thunderstorms to their local deities. Anyway, you were a big help - it was your quick thinking that saved the day for us. Thank you."
By then, the rain had cleared. It appeared the storm had done a number on the woods - there was a large patch of sunlight to her west. She took a closer look - it appeared a large number of trees had fallen on top of each other like dominoes. That must have been the source of the big crashing she had heard. "It's a little cool, but not too bad. Azur, you said you didn't have a ride Pokémon with you. That's not an issue at all - I'm used to it!" She undid the latches on all of her Pokémon's Poké Balls except for Levy's. "Come on out, everyone!"

From the four Poké Balls emerged many large Pokémon that were far friendlier than they looked; Prance, a Stantler about as tall as Caprice was, charged her trainer and embraced her. "I know! It's been so long!" the green female cried, hugging her Pokémon back. The normal-type's hypnotic orbs in the middle of her antlers flickered vividly in excitement. She was a bit jittery, her hooves sloshing the muddy trail.
Second was a Skuntank that looked like he was going to discharge a Flamethrower attack straight up, Shalin's visual cue a tail pointed directly upward, another next of Burmy and Wormadam scattering in anticipation of the move. Were there any other bug-types in these woods? This place should be crawling with them! "Not here, Kiku!" Shalin shouted. The poison-type snorted, resting his heavy tail on the ground, holding back on discharging built-up musk until they were traveling away from the cramped quarters. He had his own riding gear attached, the saddle and reins a deep purple to blend in perfectly with his thick, purple fur.
Third was a Yanmega that snapped his mandibles into each other, doing his best to smile, but it was difficult to tell when such a menacing-looking Pokémon was smiling. Shalin stepped away from Caprice and next to her bug-type to show the scale of how big he was - his wingspan stretched around nine feet, and he could very easily carry at least one person between his wings, if not two! Flit's gear was pretty minimal - just enough for a rider to maintain control of the flying insect. It had to be for a flying-type - unneeded gear would weigh the Pokémon down. He stretched his wings, a low, surprisingly loud drone filling the air for a second or two.
Serena lined up next to Caprice as Shalin gestured to each of them in order. "Prance, Kiku, and Flit." Almost all of them were at least as tall as Shalin was, most of them even taller. "Caprice and Serena you should already know. I have a Milotic as well, but the water's probably too cool for us to go for a swim." The fire-type eyed Azur and Ettie warily, especially Ettie. Prance and Flit in particular seemed excited to hit the road - Shalin had never let the entire team out. "All of them are sweethearts and obedient, Azur," she answered the big man with a smile.
It was then Ettie shouted that an Egg she was carrying was about to hatch. Shalin ran over to see what was about to hatch from it, her Pokémon fighting for a good view of the birth, as well. The sound of Serena screeching and Kiku snorting overpowered the ambiance as well as the sound of the egg cracking. "Settle down back there!" Shalin shouted, her Pokémon quick to stop arguing. She had a good look at the egg, but didn't recognize the species by the color or texture. She leaned forward in anticipation - what could it be?
Welp, he's hated it seems! But that's alright, he'll try to concoct a nice aromatherapic perfumes for Princess later. Hmmm... regardless, this is a pinch isn't it... No one have anything to burn... Well, if Zeit is fine he would probably used his Flame Wheel to warm them off for a while, but... he's conked out. Anne and Duchess' praises cheered the Arcanine though. He appreciatively licked them back. Duchess' yips about her impression of him fighting for his team made the small Arcanine embarrassed, but he thought it was given! He's the big brother, of course he will fight for them!
The sight of legendary beasts, huh... Azur simply smiled at it. "Who knows," he answered. "For all we know those legendary Pokemons probably could form a protective barrier that protect their chosen ones as they fight together with them. Zacian and Zamazenta too... probably doesn't choose their champions randomly. So if you been recognized by the Pokemons, there's no way you would just like that fall off from their backs. If that's the case their eyes must be bad."
Still, how does it feel to fight alongside of Pokemon of that caliber, he wondered... Six years ago... Azur was... hah, darn, he was mourning, obviously he did not see what happened then. Did he missed a chance to see the legendaries of Galar? Who knows... but what he knows is that he probably will never get that chance again, even if it's just to see their royal visages.
Hmmm, stories about that sort of things? Humans and Pokemons fighting together? "...Hmmm, I heard this tale from my parents, but apparently there was a case where in Hoenn, to avoid a meteor from falling down and threatened the world, a chosen and the sky serpent Rayquaza would destroy it together. Now, whether that is true or not, I have no idea. It might be just a rumor, might be just a tall tale... but there are so many stories of Pokemon and human fighting together. Human touching hearts of Pokemons, which in turn lend their aid to humans... I think that's the general moral of the story?"
The antics of Duchess made Zeit chuckle. He stood up briefly to give a salute before plopping again. Tired, oh so tired... Thankfully Azur is massaging him for the meantime... Zeit let out a content sigh. Yes, yes, that was the spot... He felt alive again. With the Stufful fight over, Zeit looked at Duchess' battle. It was... sparky. Two electric types... Both are doing their best, but it seems they're having a bit of a problem with their moves being not so effective against one another. Eventually though, Duchess won because her stronger Thunder Fang. Zeit howled to greet the victor, praising her for a job well done. Granted, he might be still on the floor here, but at the very least he wanted Duchess to know that he's proud of her! Really proud! Her interaction with the Popplio is cute too. Here hoping that they could be great friends.
Oh right, Ettie got some of those candies too. Zeit would watch warmly at the sight of the two dogs enjoying their little treat. Azur understood that he can't really ride Zeit or ride the Furfrou together with Ettie. That would be ridiculous anyway... Poor Furfrou would probably broke its back after that...
"It's OK, I think I can just walk slowly," Azur told them. For the meantime, he beckoned Tristan to come close. Let's see... First, he need to assess his wounds. The wounds from the Pichus are all from electric shocks, so more or less it causes his body to get overloaded, huh. First, apply a healing salve to his body, then proceed to massage. First with thumbs, make a circle around the general scapula area. This made Tristan sigh in relief. Next, to the arm, gently pinch it while making a pressing and releasing motion... after that, follow it with a massage to the chest to normalize the breathing. Following that, massage the arm again, then to the ribs... massage it gently, to make sure that the feeling of something "stuck" inside the ribcage "normalize"... Granted, none of these are written in nursing book. This is more to a traditional massaging technique. The electric shock would often force muscles to spasm, so the buildup from that could cause a lot of fatigue or nervous damages. Thankfully, Pokemons are resilient, so none of that happened.
Azur followed that with a bit of a massage on the shoulders, then on the leg. During the entire process, Tristan looked as if he's in heaven for some reason... Looks like it's working after all? Azur also applied some more pressure, eliciting more sigh of happiness from the Ralts. After he's done, Azur finally gave his head a little bit of a massage and a facial to promote quicker recovery and more quality rest. Sadly he doesn't have any potions on hand, so he have to make do with just those treatments. Now, he made sure that Tristan is well rested. "See you in thirty minutes," Azur told him, then returned him to his Pokeball. Being a nurse in time like this is really great. He set up timer just in case. More than thirty minute nap probably would make Tristan too groggy and unable to fight properly. He also recalled Zeit back to his Pokemon
Outside, Shalin called her ride Pokemons out! ...Oh, Oh? He's to ride any of these? Azur just slowly turned around to face Ettie, his face pretty much showing that he's not sure he want to... ride them at all.
"Errrrrmmmm call me an traditionalist, or someone who's unfun, but I'll take the Stantler, thank you. I'm not sure the Yanmega is ears friendly, and I'd like my ears for any sign of danger or emergency. As for Skutank..." ....How should he even word this? "...I'm not sure either." But thankfully he was called by Ettie who alerted him that the egg is about to hatch!

Just when he was about to check the egg, something... is crowing. He looked around, only to feel something snatched from his pocket! Azur's hand quickly shot toward his now empty pocket. Shit, that's his wallet! Azur looked for the culprit, and found several Mukrows handing over his wallet toward a... That's a Honchkrow!
"Hey, give that back!" Azur called out at them.
"Give back!" parroted the Mukrow.
"Back!" parroted the other.
Kuh, these naughty...! "Hey, I said give it back! Now!"
"Back! Back! Back! Back!" the four Mukrows parroted while the Honchkrow crowed mockingly. Well, that's it. They're the ones asking for it. Azur is not sure if thirty minutes has passed, but whatever... time to call the other. "Gusios, I'm counting on you!" Gusios immediately exited his Pokeball and glared at the Honchkrow. He just need to see this once to know what he's supposed to do. Seeing the challenging Pokemon, the Honchkrow cawed at his flock to observe. Naughty one, with a streak of pride it seems. The Honchkrow moved in to attack with Wing Attack! But Gusios, aware of the trickery of the bird, immediately dodged to the side and swiped with a claw filled with rage! It managed to hit the Honchkrow, who seem to be aware that it's probably not the time to take it easy. It immediately followed with Haze, lowering down Gusios' rage! Gusios, feeling that his rage lowered down from the haze immediately shoots ember through the black smoke, trying to hit the Honchkrow! It hits, but not as much as Gusios have liked.
The next moment however, the crow Pokemon vanished from sight... That was when it hits Gusios from the back with a strong night slash! Gusios cried out in pain, but it immediately punched the Honchkrow with another Rage! Once again, Gusios managed to hit it, but at the same time giving it a bit of a distance! Would it decide to attack with another haze? Nay! It suddenly swoops in, then cried in horrifying manner! His Astonish caused Gusios to stop. It swooped again for another Wing Attack... but Gusios, recovering faster than the Wing Attack could hit, immediately used another Rage! Azur immediately tossed a Pokeball soon after at it!
"Whew... Now drop it!" Azur commanded the Murkrows, who squawked in defeat, and dropped his wallet. Geez... He checked the content... all is there, thankfully... except some changes. Probably fine enough if it's just some changes. They're five pokedollar coins at most anyway. Azur put it inside his pocket again, but this time decided to zip it.
"...Alright, where were we? Um.. I know you said that they're all good Pokemons, but would they mind being ridden by someone as big as me? Will they be alright?" Azur asked to Shalin. Also, if he managed to catch the Honchkrow, he would definitely give the Pokemon to Ettie, just because he remembered what she said before. Apparently, she also got affinity toward crow Pokemons...
