Puppy - lv 5
The sun was beating down on Irina, highlighting her dark strands with soft light that in some ways might make her appear ethereal. She was situated under a treaa in route one, leaned back against the trunk with her darling guide pokemon Puppy curled up at her side. It was a simple day. A beautiful day. Every time Irina got restless, attempting to read the pages of a book she had no memory of, a book she was told to read by a stranger, she would just look up at the scenery surrounding her and feel much better, for once.
She was on a page currently documenting somebodies history- the History of a girl who's name belogned to her, but whos past she struggled to identify with. Boarding school. Pretty dresses. Cute pokemon. Riches. This Irina girl sounded like a princess. It was a name she could register as her own, that she could understand belonged to her... but...
Maybe she should read more to understand? Or... mybe she could just stare at the pretty flowers for a while before going back to it.

Puppy - lv 5
Irina flipped a page, but her mind wasn't really there, focusing on the words. She could smell the faint blossoms of the season, the ripeness of regrowth, and with the warm sun beating down on her she sincerly felt cozy, and war, and guided into a sense of serenity. Nature was beautiful, that much Irina knew. Her gaze drifted from shrub to branch, taking in as much as she could before Puppy batted a clawed paw at her and forced her to read more.
A gaze turned to her puppy, in his fluro coat with his eyes... open? Had he not been just resting? "Puppy?" Her gaze moved to fpllow Puppy's own, rather curious... onto for her eyes to widen and sparkle- oh! Oh! Irina had very good eyes, perfect fr spotting books and games, so she could see something that wasn't attatched to the ground and part of nature- a black and white... large... creature... that had been watching her...
She knew what it was. How could she not? With ears as long as that, and a twitchy nose... that was obviously a Doggy. An excited squeal left her, at that point. Irina wanted the doggy. She had read in the black book if she wanted something... she had to throw a ball at it.
"I want it, Puppy!" She said, to the Litleo who had stirred back onto his feet. A sigh-like noise left him and he shook his head to wake himself up. But... before he could go into battle Irina threw a pokeball- right- yeah- she had forgotten how to fight. Puppy would have to make her read up on that.
[attr="class","rae"] Rae hadn't caught a Pokemon in over six months now that she thought about it. She wasn't a serious trainer like many, after all. Plus she already had the best Pokemon in the form of Hermes, so what else did she need? But she did have a soft spot for especially feminine-looking Pokemon as well as her main motif of moths and butterflies, and Lopunny fit the bill. So you know, why not check out this Buneary swarm, hm?
Hermes fluttered along behind her, his wings brilliant as ever, as they kept their eye out for any sort of bun. A Shiny would be most ideal, she thought, though she wasn't about to get her hopes up there either. One of the black and white ones she'd heard about would also be cool, though, and she wouldn't even complain about a plain brown one, so there was really no bad situation here. She was just a little eager to see how lucky she would get today.
[attr="class","rae"] Rae and Hermes continued along until eventually Hermes began to squeak and flap his wings a little faster. "Hm? See something?" Once the Vivillon had her attention, he flew out toward where he'd seen movement, and Rae followed. He led her toward a large boulder, and there on the other side was not a Buneary, but a Lopunny! Rae's eyebrows rose. Oh wow! It was only a common brown one, but she'd certainly take the Pokemon already being evolved and elegant over having to spend money to evolve it.
It was tempting to just use Hermes, but she decided Anabel really could use some practice, and sent out the Spewpa. "Anabel, Stun Spore," she ordered, catching the Lopunny by surprise. Little did Rae know the Lopunny would not have run and was kind of eager to be caught by someone, or at least make some kind of friends. Still, she didn't want to appear desperate, so she feigned a few Pound attacks lightly in exchange for the Spewpa's onslaught of Tackles. Look, she was a good battler, please be her friend.
Rae thought the Lopunny was wearing down awfully quickly, but supposed she ought not look a gift Horsea in the mouth and dug out a Pokeball to throw.
[attr="class","rae"] Oh sweet Pokeball! The Lopunny's eyes lit up as the woman tossed one out, and she felt herself being drawn in... only to pop back out a moment later? She didn't... feel different? Did it work? Judging from the look on the woman's face, though, it did not.
Rae was annoyed, but maybe the Lopunny just wasn't weak enough. "Anabel-" she started to order, but the Lopunny held up her hands in a 'wait' motion. Hm? The Lopunny picked up the open Pokeball, carefully closed it, and brought it to hand to Rae. She then stood waiting. Um.. "Okay?" Rae gently tossed the ball at her head this time.
Chocolate bunnies? The notion seemed absolutely ridiculous to Kaisei, at least at first. But as the month went by, more and more of Birch City's bars and coffee shops were filling up with gossip about the strange rumor, so it finally came time that he felt beholden to check it out. He departed the city on his bicycle early in the morning, hoping to catch up with the swarm before they disappeared for good. Along for the ride with him were a few Pokemon he still wished to see in action to gauge their battle sensibilities, along with two rare eggs. They would take a while to hatch, so he figured he should spend as much time with them as possible. [break][break] When he arrived on the grasslands, he found, just as expected, Buneary hopping everywhere. There seemed to be one every few feet, some in tight family groups, and others scattered around grazing on the short grass. Should he add one to his Pokemon collection? Why not? Perhaps Del could use a new breeding partner. [break][break] Party: Cherubi (Hinata, Lv13, 5/5 Energy), Heracross (Masaki, Lv11, 5/5 Energy), Remoraid (Minami, Lv11, 5/5 Energy), Dottler (Ayumu, Lv10, 5/5 Energy), Togepi Egg (1/10 hatching posts), Bagon Egg (1/15 hatching posts) [break][break] Notes: 175 WC[break]
It wasn't... quite what he had expected, but this was still what he came for. Kaisei sent out his Heracross and directed him toward the rabbit Pokemon. It might have had more battle experience, but Masaki had the type advantage. "Do your thing," he said. What he did not expect was... for his Pokemon to strut over to a female Buneary and start flexing? The Buneary looked embarrassed as the female ducked into her burrow and out of sight, followed by a succession of other females that Masaki tried wooing. [break][break] "Masaki! Pay attention!" Kaisei clapped his hands loudly and directed a pointed glare at the Heracross, who looked back at the Buneary that was now glaring at him with its hands on its hips. Masaki let out a sigh. What was the purpose of being sent out of his Pokeball if he was going to fight ugly boys instead of cute girls? Too late the bug Pokemon realized he had said that out loud. Though Kaisei couldn't understand it, the Buneary surely did, and Masaki was met with a kick to the face out of Frustration. [break][break] The battle raged back and forth, with a Night Slash being deflected by a Defense Curl, while a Quick Attack was met with a furious series of Arm Thrusts. By the end of it, both Pokemon were exhausted, having landed several clean hits but still forcing themselves to their feet. Kaisei supposed that the Buneary could make for a useful teammate, and threw a Pokeball at it. [break][break] Party: Cherubi (Hinata, Lv13, 5/5 Energy), Heracross (Masaki, Lv11>Lv12, 5/5 Energy), Remoraid (Minami, Lv11, 5/5 Energy), Dottler (Ayumu, Lv10, 5/5 Energy), Togepi Egg (4/10 hatching posts), Bagon Egg (4/15 hatching posts) [break][break] Notes: 253 WC[break] Attempting capture with a Pokeball.
