Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
Looks like Agate won't be hitting Central Arciel anytime soon... reason? There are too many things to explore on the east! That's why he need to be prepared! Therefore, one day he decided that he need a little bit of a time... to return back to his house that is. Agate was greeted happily by his family, although they were absolutely flabbergasted with the number of the Pokemons that he own at this point. It totals about thirteen, which is... double the size of allowed Pokemons in a team. Either way... This means Agate have to train everyone, and preferably as balanced as possible. However...
"...Our current team are 13. I'd like if possible to increase power of our core teammates first... That means, Riku, you're in, as you'll be the front. For the rest, let's see... I'd like Randgris to also train. I'm going to train Kagari too, that's fine, right? And then... Flamel, that's four. Chatty still not in mood for training... Ragnard definitely also need more training and then... uh..."
...The rest of the team is looking at him, as if begging to be trained. "...I'll decide the last one later, alright? I'm sorry for making you guys antsy, but don't worry, I'll train all of you later. Look at the lineup for the meantime! Other than Riku, I'm balancing our team's level! So please, don't look at me as if I'm going to abandon any of you, alright?"
...Whew, crisis adverted, somewhat. Agate decided that it's probably wise to diverse their strategy slightly.
Fighting/Steel, Flying/Steel, Fire/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, Fire/Flying... So many fire now that he think of it. Should he just ask Asty if she want to train? Or should he train Vorpal? Agate pretty much questioning what should he do. Should he train his Rockruff? Hmmm, choices, choices, truly hard.
"Oh, Agate?" his mother called him. "There was someone from the building company looking for you. The man said that he'd like to help you on your little experiment... what experiment?"
"Oh, um... I'm trying to make a small training ground or such. It's... I asked him if I could help him and get paid for it that way. Well, it's in route 8 though, a bit offroad, near my secret base. I think as long as it's there there i can use it at any time, sooo... is that fine? I mean, really, I just want place where I can train my Pokemons without causing any sort of problem."
"Is that so.... Well, I guess that's fine, but just be careful, alright?"
"I'll sure be careful, don't worry!"
...Exactly why you said that that I will worry! Agate's mother thought internally, but of course she kept that inside her heart. What sort of training will this boy do? Only time will tell, but she hope it's nothing... dangerous. Though, knowing her son, she can't help but to get a bit antsy. He often have no idea how much he's actually exerting.
The morning of the next day came just as fast. After eating breakfast and feeding his Pokemons, Agate ran toward the construction site, where the supervisor from before waiting for him
"I didn't expect you to come this early, but seeing that you're here that means you need my help, don't you?" the supervisor asked. Agate obviously nodded. "I really need your help, mister! See, I got several projects that I wanted to try making, but.. I'm not sure if I can make them at all. As you know I got the strength, but not the dexterity. To help today's construction, I enlisted a bit of a help. So, there are several Pokemons I have in mind. One is Riku, you have met him before."
Riku raises his paw. "The next is Azalea, I'd like her to help with designing a small pond for stonestepping."
"Oh those platform things? It might be a bit hard, but definitely doable. But filling it with Pokemon water might takes a while. You might probably would do better by filling it with your own water, especially if you only have one water Pokemon."
"But water around here would be too hot won't it?"
"Not to scalding level, no. But definitely hot enough initially to cause you want to pull back from putting any of your limbs in. It's however perfect for immediate knee jerk reaction, especially if you want to balance yourself on a pole or something for example... or small uneven platform. If it's up to me, I suggest the latter due to it being much easier, plus the difficulty increases when you failed your attempt to cross. Because it would be wet then."
It's an interesting proposal, so Agate put it on the list.
"Let's see... ummm, is it possible to make a shooting range where I could move the targets?"
"That would be pretty easy. Accuracy toss eh. it doesn't have to be so sophisticated, and I can easily make one where you could just move a levered pulley with ropes. It'll be quite the arm workout though."
"I'm good at that!"
"Haha! That's true! You're good at that, heh heh. Well, let's see, what else, what else...?"
"Do you think it's possible to make a shaky bridge too?"
"Shaky... bridge? Oh, those suspension rope bridge? But why do you want to make it shaky?"
"Same reason. I just want to do balance training. We have the Metal Tire Run, but that's only for one person. What if we make a shaky bridge where we can easily work on our balance and our speed at the same time, won't it be cool?"
"...I don't get you kids lately, but I guess that's plausible. What do you want to build next then?"
"...Well, uuuuhhh... Let's see... I guess that's all for the meantime. That three, how much are you going to charge it?"
"Well, if you're the one who's going to do most of the works, kid, I'm not going to charge you all that much. Let's see... if details and watching is all you need then 100 pokedollars should be good."
"For all three of it?"
"Yeah, why not? You're the one who's going to do the work anyway!"
It's true, but he can't help but to feel he just got a massive discount.
"So first and foremost, I'll return after you make several planks for target. Think it as exercise for you before you start making planks for the bridge. If the plank on the bridge is uneven, you won't get your desired effect. if the plank for the target is too strong or too hard you will probably make your Pokemon understand which one need a stronger hit, which one doesn't need as strong of a hit. Follow this blueprint."
The supervisor gave Agate a blueprint with design of the targets... he noted that it's looking pretty easy to make, but at the same time, he need to get some planks... a dry plank. With that in mind, he decided that he started to which Pokemons to train and which ones to stay in the farm.
"Hmmm... So the training this time around, I'd like Riku, Azalea, Vorpal, Randgris... I think Schera does not want to train this time around, so I guess we can switch her with someone else... might... try using the sword later... might." Agate scratched his head, although it doesn't exactly felt itchy. "...Hmmmm... Do I need more hands... or do I need more digging? I have no idea... What do you guys think?"
Vorpal then chittered, telling something to Agate. Looks like he's saying to focus thing at hands first, which means... "I think we can work on chopping planks first then. Should we buy planks or should we chop off some tree? Then again are we allowed to chop some tree?"
Mmm, nah, definitely better to just buy some plank. With that in mind, Agate returned to the city with Riku, Randgris and Vorpal, leaving Azalea with Asty the Turtwig and... come to think of it he have yet to decide the last one. Maybe later. Not too long after he returned with several planks. They're of differing sizes of course. Agate decided to just ask the stores for any leftover planks that they were unable to sell, but still good enough. They gratefully gave him about ten pieces for price of three. Granted, they're all uneven, thickness wise and sometimes they're not cut straight... why, he wonder... probably some trainee's mistakes? But even then...?
"Alright, Vorpal, Riku... ...Actually could you two even use any tools for humans?" Agate scratched his cheeks, not sure how to approach this... before deciding. "Oh, I got it! You two, hold them at the end. Randgris, come here!" The plan was for Vorpal and Riku to stabilize the planks on both side, and for Randgris to peck a hole on the spots marked by Agate. With the hole as his guideline, Agate began sawing off the unneeded part. Of course it didn't start great at first. He's not good with detailed work, but he's willing to try. However, looks like it's harder than he though.
"...Hnnngh, I wonder what's wrong..."
Now that the supervisor is gone for the meantime, he's left alone, so he guess... he have to solve this problem by himself.

Hmmm, this is a dilemma, looks like he's having trouble in making the plank even. Granted, making an even plank with just saw is hard, but... Agate lifted one of the plank and it pretty much spoke to him what's wrong. It's not even the slightest, it's not at the center, thus if inserted to the contraption that could move them, it won't move right. Most likely it'll going to topple over and it won't be a proper target... But at the same time, how could he messed up? It's not like his vision trouble is limiting him at the moment, and he doesn't have astigmatism.
...Well, time to check the DIY vid, maybe they have a reason why he's messing this up?
Agate sat down on a tree stump and watched the video while humming, trying to absorb the information. Looks like his problem was that he doesn't score the plank first? Drats, He had no idea that scoring is that important, but he guess it should have be for a complete newbie like him. After asking Randgris for her assistance again (for some reason, the Pokemon enjoyed it), he scored the plank this time, then saw it. Thankfully, he managed to make it straight this time. Not wasting that much time, he began following the blueprints, and ends up with about twenty targets with different thickness. They're categorically uniform thankfully, and balanced, that's the most important.
"...Hnnnn.. but even so what to do with these?"
Agate doesn't like wasting materials. Sure the planks are failures, but at the same time, could he do something about them? Randgris suddenly cawed at him. She lifted the plank, and put it on a flat surface, then pecked at it. To each plank, she's making a single hole, big enough for a rope to pass. Hmmm? Could it be that she's want it as a target?
"Hmm, so you want to make it like a floating target or something?" Agate asked the Rookidee who cawed positively. Looks like that's it huh. He better work this along with the rest then. Next, Agate would bring five kinds of paint and a base coat. First he painted the base on the planks, then he separated each planks into categories. The uneven planks should be an aerial target, per Randgris' desire, or for peck, whichever she prefer. They're to be colored blue afterward. The next one are the thinner target planks, they're green in color, indicating "easy". Then the next thickness is yellow, and finally red. But there are five paints, what's the fifth color then? It's black. After the paint dried, Agate painted eyes and menacing face to the plank and painted bullseye to their body. This resulted in... quite the amusing toy! He guess he should train with these sometimes, target practice with overripe berries perhaps? Oh, he made sure to get paints that give washable coating, so in case they use objects that could stain it rather than attacks... it could be easily washed away.
After finishing with the target, Agate noticed that the supervisor have yet returned... or perhaps he'll return tomorrow. In that case, Agate decided to store the planks inside his secret base and moves to the next phase... that would be to create some sort of pond. Hot water pond, mind. Which means... they need to find a hot water source. As of how, well... going to nearby river would do. With Riku and Randgris putting the rope on the aerial target and tying it to branches at varying height, that leaves Agate, Vorpal, Asty and Azalea to scout the situation. Asty and Azalea would be probably fine with the water temperature, but Vorpal... should he just ask him to stay? But then again, of the four, he's the second set of arms. Azalea... doesn't have that luxury of having strong arms.
"...Let's see.. Azalea, could you check where we could find hot water from here?"
Azalea in response grabbed Agate's mining kit. Ah right, he would need a shovel, and of course a lot of other items... Just in case, Agate put on gloves and boots. Why those? To protect against heat. The supervisor said that water from this proximity are hot enough, not enough to scald, but would still shock you... but how true is that, he have no idea.
For the meantime though, Agate unfolds his portable shovel and secured it. He touched the water with his finger to gauge which part would be hot enough. Eventually, he found it. First, he dig a small ditch... just enough to be blocked by a river stone of medium size. He signaled to Vorpal to help him dig to a desired spot, somewhere not too far, but also not too near the river. Afterward, they begin digging the pond. It should be about a knee deep, or maybe a bit higher? Somewhere about two to three inches above his knee? Or perhaps waist? A waist deep probably a bit too deep though.
And so, Agate began digging. He's soon joined by Riku who also helped him to dig the pond. Vorpal also helped. He targets about... ten meters in diameter? It's just a rough estimate though. Agate made sure to cover the bottom with soft pebbles and dirt... however, contrary to his expectation, just before he was going to open the floodgate to let the hot water come out... Riku let out a sudden sound as if being surprised.
"Riku?"
Apparently the water source was already there! The water soon gushes out and all they needed were to just put on some pond stones on the edges to prevent any overflooding. The water felt a bit hot at first, but... soon it's replaced by the boy's desire to take a dip. It didn't take long for him to enjoy the water. Soaking his tired body from all that work felt great! It does feel like he worked enough, but then there's the problem... How to make the slippery platform on top of this now?
Being in the hot water, all his fatigue melting like it's never there in the first place... Agate sighed in happiness. The center of this small hot spring is where the hot water came from... but man, he was thinking to transfer the water from the small river to this place, but he ended up finding another hot spring source anyway... it's a score. After he lifted those pond stones from the river, his arms are a bit sore. It's not just a single trip after all, and they're big. Granted, he could lift them quite easily, but repeatedly doing it made him feel tired too.
...And there comes the second problem. How to find a foundation big enough to reach above his knee level? And if he found one, how to... make it to a desired shape? His knee length is about... sixty to eighty centimeters or so? Give or take, probably about that. No matter how he chop it... it's obviously really heavy. He only can lift somewhere around the eighty... kilograms mark probably? Probably less. Ugh... he guess it's better to just... work another thing and wait until the supervisor returned. After he dried himself up and wore his clothes back, Agate... decided to once again hone his skills on making an even plank.
"Hey Randgris! Are you liking the training target?" Agate asked. The Pokemon did not reply, but she was flying around the target, pecking at it. Rather than going straight like an arrow or dart to it, she instead pecks at it, let it sway, and chases it, peck it again, trying to hone her accuracy it seems. Riku meanwhile doing some punch training with it too. Contrary to Agate's expectation, apparently using plank as a target rather than sandbag is not a good idea. The reason is that it sways too much. Vorpal tried to follow Riku's steps by tossing rocks at it. but... his accuracy isn't the most praiseworthy. It seems. He missed more than he hits, and even if he hits, it's around the edges... But even so, Agate noted that this is a good arm training for him.
...Hey, looks like they managed to finish one after all! A training item that is. Agate wondered if they need any other training items... Sandbags probably? Or perhaps just the tree, give it rope, for a sumo training? Regardless, the boy returned to his work. He need to finish the planks for the bridges. Thankfully as long as he got an example, he pretty much can do this by himself. Agate made sure that the first one is thick and long enough, and not uneven in any way. He followed the blueprint, then use the finished prototype plank as mold for another planks. Repeat the process, give it a bit of a polish and done! Looks like he's starting to get hang of it! It's easier compared to what he thought... but from this point on, it's going to be different. The supervisor is back, and he's ready to evaluate it seems!
"So looks like you have finished quite a lot... although I admittedly very surprised that you managed to dig the pond as fast as you did!"
"I think it's just that I have good quality shovel? And I'm not alone too. There are two Pokemons helping me, so i should be fine... Poor Vorpal though, he was actually spooked when the water was out. That hot water probably not too good for him considering his typing..."
"Understandable... well, do you have any problems?"
"First, how to make contraption that we discussed?"
"Ah right, I thought that rotating lever is a bit too hard actually, so let's two direction lever model instead. It's slower definitely than the rotating lever, but all thing considered, much easier to make. Basically, if you pull the lever to your side, the dummies will move to your side, if you push the lever to the other side, the dummies will move to that way too. About the pond meanwhile, I think it's better to carve the stone outside the hot water bath because otherwise... yeah. It's going to be a bit..."
"Probably soaking yourself for such a long time, added with the dust from chiseling the stone away wouldn't be good, huh."
"That's how it is. What would you do then, kiddo? You should make sure that the bottom is stable. You don't want it to topple over. You just want it to be you who toppled over, and you must make sure that there won't be any accident involved, such as you hitting the rock with your head. So the range is important, the same way that the placement is important."
"...Hmmm, so if I want to make it a line, it's probably not that much challenge either, huh?"
"But there will less be risk of an injury," the supervisor reasoned. "If you slips and the small pond follows certain pattern, you can easily roll over to prevent injuries. If you spread them too much, and make it uneven, there are chances that you would slip and hits your head. The other way is to use a softer material, but unfortunately it's much more expensive than rock."
"What if I put some sort of cushioning there then?"
"What sort of cushioning, though?" the supervisor asked. "You're talking about rock here, young man. They're not easily cushionable. And if you use rubber instead for the stepping part... well, you can, but it's going to be really awkward, and it will slip more than using rock for example... but it should be more elastic, and with that it could protect you some."
"...But what about if I make the base from wood and cover it up with cushioning, and the cushioning is made from resistant materials?"
"Like what?"
"Probably some sort of leather? It's hard enough to step on and if we slip, it won't cause excessive bleeding or anything, But basically I'm thinking of anything hydrophobic pretty much."
"Hmmm, it sounded like it will work, just need more works then."
However, before the two could move to this direction, someone stopped them. That would be Asty the Turtwig and Durandal the Honedge. Durandal would noticably wrap his tassel on Agate's arm, transforming itself into some sort of wrap. Agate automatically grabbed the Honedge's handle. "What's wrong? Do you guys have something you wanted to say to me? I don't quite get you guys though... sorry about that."
This is the first time Durandal would suddenly wrap itself on his arm (quite forcefully at that). He does not feel any draining, which means that Durandal is trying to tell him to use it. But what for? Agate looked at the sword who now trying to pull him to the planks. And before long, it suddenly draw something on the ground. Durandal sketched something that looked like... what's that? That looked like some... waterlily? But at the same time it's not. He pointed at the planks, then again at the waterlilies drawing.... which means...
"...Say, Mister! If we make a floating platform or something, can we do it?"
"Hmm? What do you mean? Floating platform doesn't sound like what you wanted to do, but can I see anyway?"
...Upon seeing the design the supervisor also looked thoughtful. "I think I know how to work on this, but it'll be more expensive. Should you try to do this though, I assure you that it'll be safe enough for you to do whatever training you want, safer than the platform with cushion. But it going to take a while because we will commission it rather than self make it. It'll probably going to be done for a longer amount of time. So why don't we build something else for the meantime?"
"What is it anyway?"
"According to your Honedge, it's some sort of a plank, except that plank got floaters around it, so it could float better. However, of course there's a catch... the catch is you can't just stop right there. You have to keep stepping until the end. A misstep could cause you fall of course. And because the plank is soft wood rather than hard wood, you won't be injured... well, not too much in case something happened. And the floater ring kind of work as a cusion just in case, which minimize the risk also."
"...And won't this floating ring... you know, float away?"
"That's why we will tie them to the bottom with a rope. put something heavy on the rope to keep them together, bury them, then leave the other ropes floating. that way it won't stray off too far from its original track... but as expected, this method..."
...This method will require them to make the pond bigger. Agate, still half submerged, sighed. But for the meantime, he guess it's better to chop up some planks.
"...Do you think you can help me, Durandal?" Agate asked. The eye on the sword blinked, as if telling him that it is what he's offering at the moment. Good. Well then...
"Hmmm, how about we make a sign on what techniques to use, Durandal? Let's see... you got Sword Dance, Shadow Sneak, Fury Cutter and Wide Guard, right? If I held you stronger and suddenly, that means wide guard. If I gently move my index finger, that's Sword Dance. A bit of a stronger tap to the handle with my index finger is Shadow Sneak... and finally, a tap with middle finger means Fury Cutter. Can you remember that all?" Agate asked just to be sure. The eye on the sword's center blinked, as if it understood.
"Good. Now let's try it..." Agate raises the Honedge and moved his index finger away, a sign for Sword Dance. As if he was a sword juggler, the Honedge on his arm twirled beautifully, releasing a blue light that created a contrail as it arced. He finished with raising the sword, where six other sword made from energy came out, touched the tip with Durandal, and his body glows red slightly before returning to the usual hue. Agate smiled widely. That was cool! Granted, he was the one who twirled the Honedge, but he wasn't alone on it. Durandal gently guided him, telling him how to execute the move for him.
"...Right, that's done. Next is..." Agate raised the sword pokemon and tapped his middle finger to the hilt. The sword glows green this time around. Durandal moved Agates arm to its sheath, where Agate, following its instruction started to sheathe the sword Pokemon. The next moment was a forceful yank that Agate swore if it's not because the way Durandal wrapped his arm with his tassel, he would certainly get an injury for such an iai speed. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven times. The sword danced and hummed as it cut through the plank to create perfect stepping board for the bridge. He did not stop right there. He unwraps from Agate's dominant left arm, moving to his right. Then, he nudged his trainer's hand to grab the cut plank.
"What's wrong, Durandal? It's a great cut for sure, I mean, you're doing really great!"
But unexpectedly, the sword Pokemon suddenly moved his arm upward, almost like telling him to throw it up. What? Agate does not comprehend, but he regardless followed the instruction, upon which immediately Durandal returned back to his left arm, and activated Fury Cutter by itself, easily straightening the plank to uniform thickness.
"...W-whoa. So that's what you meant! Thanks for this one!"
Durandal let go of Agate's arm, then sheathed itself. The metallic sound that usually produced by the Honedge sounded satisfied, as if it says that its job is over-- for the meantime that is.
"That's an interesting way to use Pokemon there," the supervisor quipped. "I mean, a Honedge that wraps itself on your arm like that? I have never seen anything like that before! But great job on making the steps for the bridge! Now all that we have to do is to make an unstable bridge... I never expected that I would say this but are you sure?"
"Sure what?" Agate asked.
"More or less it'll be similar to the stepping platforms on the hot spring. Why the need to double?"
"The difficulty difference I guess? Plus the bridge can be used by multiple people while the steps on the hot spring pond only can be used by one person. I think that's the idea... that I can change the difficulty as much as I like."
"Is that so? Well if so you say. First you got to make hole on the pla--"
Before he could finish what he wanted to say, Randgris already flew down from where she was and pecked hole through the wooden plank. That was easy it seems. "Well, then the next step is to make the bridge... slacks a lot then!"
...Slacks a lot? Agate blinked, not quite getting what the supervisor is saying, at least until he worked on it.
"A bit more, Asty!" Agate called out to the Turtwig who starting to pull rope. As her moveset at the moment is rather limited, Asty wasn't able to train as much as the rest. So to train her, Agate decided that perhaps she could help in making the bridge. Out of the six, Vorpal has returned to near the hot spring to expand the area. Riku still training with the aerial dummy along with Randgris, and Azalea has opted to help Vorpal by moving some rocks out of the way. That leaves Asty and Durandal. Durandal is resting at the moment, and considering the hard work that he has done, it's absolutely understandable! But even so, even Agate is a bit lost of what to do with the tortoise Pokemon. She can't swim, therefore she can't help Vorpal in digging...
But hey, she could help in pulling the ropes. And while at it, the grass type Pokemon made a singing-like sound as it moved around, like being all happy. She's really chipper today! Once that the desired length is achieved, Agate would tie the ropes to a post prepared prior. The ropes are dangling about at only at a mere two meters away from the ground level at its lowest point. And its highest is only about four meters... not so dangerous. By the way, what lies under are tarpaulin sheet, and it's black. Why?
"I still don't get it why you're putting this tarpaulin here," the construction supervisor from before said.
"I mean, you don't?" Agate asked back. "It's all about mood you know, Mister? Imagine you crosses the bridge and there's this gaping hole down there... won't it add sense of realism if I cross the bridge at night while training, and this tarp just looked so dark and like a hole?"
"So basically you just want to immerse yourself in your training. I was wondering what sort of training was it that you did, but... this is either ridiculous or another level altogether."
...That day, the construction supervisor person learned that Agate might be acting like his age after all... in unexpected way. WC: 1521 TWC: 5106

The latticework for the bridge are hard... can he even call it latticework? Perhaps, more like... bindingworks? Either way, it's complicated. As he worked on tying the ropes and the planks together, Agate noticed that his Pokemons are doing better than him who got proper fingers. Well, at least Durandal does. Perhaps because his general shape, which is like a sword, he could emulate a needle and tied it up. Asty assisted him by holding the plank on place, while Randgris bore hole through the plank, as usual. Riku currently alternated between helping the digging team, which currently trying to make the hot spring bigger, and the bridge team, which currently trying to set the planks.
Noticing that he did not help much, Agate decided that he should probably help Vorpal and Azalea instead. He jumped down from the rope he's sitting on and took his shovel.
"By the way, kid, what are you going to do after this?" the supervisor asked.
"Well, I'm simply going to work out more. Go find something that I can train with and get stronger, it's pretty easy really."
"You got all sort of training equipment, but you're lacking any sort of recreational items... why don't you make them too at it?" the man asked. "Recreational items are good for you too. Or maybe furnitures that could let you relax more. Sofas? Lamps? Rugs? There are so many things that you could make and increase the quality of your rest!"
"Hmmm, I mean, those are an option indeed..." Agate mused.
Just at that time, loooks like expanding the small hot spring process has completed. Agate ordered both Vorpal and Azalea to leave the spring, then he broke the "dam" that divided the two section of newly dug area and the hot spring that has been dug before. The sediments from the earth need a bit while longer to settle down at the bottom before the hot spring is fully ready to use, but now it has reached point where they can both use it for training and for bathing later.
Soon, the rest of the team goes to the bridge to help on finishing it too. It's not perfect by all means, but according to the supervisor, it was "enough" to complete the minimum amount of safety requirement to use. Agate and the supervisor parted way after he gave the supervisor the payment he asked for the blueprints and inspection. It's... quite cheap comparatively when you look at just how many works was involved. And plus he wanted to work on this alone, without hiring an entire construction crew.
"...But there's still a bit more work to do at the moment," Agate mused.
Yes, there's still work to do. That is... to create a nest or sort for the inside of his base. First he goes back home. It was already sunset, but he need to get as many burlap sack as possible. He ordered the rest to instead make a nest on places they find most suitable for them. For Randgris, she immediately goes to build up a nest up on high place, big enough for her and her mother together. The docile Vorpal collected some soft hay and straws to create a small bed or sort. Asty meanwhile collected fallen leaves and dug a small hole, and put the leaves for bedding. Azalea who did not need any sleeping place at the moment instead helped around to make more beds for other Pokemons. She assisted Riku in making an igloo shaped nest from clay for the fire types. Agate's secret base is made to be cool, but that coolness is probably not something fire type Pokemons find enjoyable, thus why they make a deattached building or sort, made from clay (As currently Agate isn't good enough in building structure of any kind).
The boy himself currently finishing stuffing the burlap sack with leftover wools for pillows and small beds. Knitting is much easier than doing any knots for the bridges, so he could finish this up quickly. Maybe one day he should learn more dexterity related skills... maybe he'll develop enough for him to be able to do a lot of detailed stuff like this. Plus, he have a feeling that if he does it, it will eventually help him in doing something more with... something more detail orientated.
"But now that I think it, to make a nest for so many Pokemons, that's a bit rough isn't it..." Agate muttered out loud. "Granted, if they all in PC it'll be a lot more easier, but at the same time, just letting them stay in PC is a bit heartless isn't it..."
Riku suddenly approached from behind, seem to reporting about the result of building the nests and whatnot.
"...Hmmm, so everything is done then?"
Riku shrugged, seem to say "more or less"
"...Well, I guess that's that.... say, when the training ground has completed, what sort of training do you want to do?" But to that, Riku shook his head. "Hmm? Are you saying that you won't be training then?" a nod. "...But why? You're usually the most vocal whenever I tried to train you..."
To this, Riku flexed as if saying that he's strong enough for the meantime. "Hmm, I see. Well that makes sense... You want to be a Lucario soon too, huh?" Agate asked. He gently pat his partner Pokemon's head. "I'll try to think of something later. For the meantime, our job here is done!"
