It was a good thing Josh brought his new Pokémon to the Training Grounds around the lunch hour - with many people eating, the facility's large pools weren't too busy. There was one that was occupied by only two other trainers - perfect, considering the Pokémon. He requested a fenced-off section of the pool for the safety of others, given the violent temperament of one of the Pokémon he would be working with.
While he had planned on running a race course with Resheph, Josh felt a more open wave pool would be better for the Sharpedo. He could always run a race course later, after he had gotten the hang of it. Sharpedo were some of the fastest Pokémon in the water, and this one in particular reminded him of Bladestorm in that he went absolutely all-out in every battle. As much as he was looking forward to training with Resheph (she could both swim and fly after all!) Snacker needed to be addressed first.

MrJc2PLjp_ - Obedience roll
Josh released the big Sharpedo into the wave pool beneath. He mounted up and held tightly to Snacker's big fin, the fidgety, blue Pokémon looking ready to speed across the pool. "Alright, let's go!" he cried, patting the Pokémon's hard skin. Opening his serrated maw, the sea predator reared and fired a jet of water out of his rear, launching the two high above the pool and hurtling back toward the water. The two submerged, nearly touching the bottom of the pool before surfacing a second time, Resheph dove into the pool the moment she saw the dark-type bucking and flailing about. It was a good thing Josh decided not to harness up with his water-types like he originally planned - absorbing the full force of those thrusts would have hurt!
Seeing that a daddy voice was going to have no effect on Snacker, Josh instead went with a more hands-on approach, gripping his mount's fin for dear life. The aptly-named sea bully bobbed above and below the surface, jetting forward and jumping from crest to crest of each wave that was generated He snapped his powerful jaw with great force, adding to the strength of his flailing at the final crest before the waves calmed down again. Josh let out a cry as he was sent flying, his left hand throbbing from rubbing against the grain of his partner's rough skin.

Instructions
To start out, write at least 200 words in your thread, then use [ proll ] (no spaces). This is how many points you've scored so far; you are aiming for 100 total. Assuming you don't roll 100 on the first go, write 200 more words. (You can cheese this just a little if you went a bit over before, such as 220 the first time and 180 the second. Each section must be a minimum of 150 though, regardless of how far over your previous sections went.) Use proll again, and repeat this until you have either reached 1,000 words or your rolls add up to 100 or more.Once you have reached either goal, you succeed! ·

There's a route that he must cross... but for that, a total of few hours ride must be done. Normally there are ferries, but the other way is to do it through riding Pokemon. He's not fond of ferries... riding it is a bit suffocating because he can't exactly stay in cabin for all the way... Not to mention it's very expensive to pay for the cabin... But at the same time, there are also matter of going west because he need to learn more about Bond Phenomenon. He asked Riku if he have the choice... will he use mega evolution, or will he take the chance to... use bond phenomenon? The Lucario answered that he'd rather have the latter. While Mega Evolution is nice, he in the end prefers to fight one body and mind with Agate.
...The boy decided that it was for the best. Speaking of which this is why he's here with his Swampert. Elazul looked ready. The huge Swampert towered over most other Swampert, and as addition, quite built. With him, Agate guess he can easily surf through Route 3 and Route 5... Problem is that he's probably not going to be fast enough. A faster one would be Ruri, but she's just average sized... eh well.
"...For the meantime... try floating, Elazul."
And he did. Despite the Swampert's size, his fins are coming out properly. What are Swampert really? Some sort of newt? Salamander perhaps? Whatever they are, Agate only could see the Pokemon's nose outside the water...
"And now, Let's try simple swimming movement first. It'll be different than swimming alone. I must stay dry."
Snacker continued to jaw and flail in the water, as though he were struggling with prey. He let the water-type swim around for a few minutes, waiting for his left hand to calm down - it was throbbing in sync with his heartbeat. He looked around while waiting for both Snacker and his hand to calm down, noticing Agate practicing with a Swampert in the next pool over. "Hey - funny to run into you out here!" he cried, though he wasn't sure he could be heard over the messy waves.

Once his hand had calmed down, Josh whistled for his Sharpedo again and mounted up, this time resting his still-hurt hand next to the fin. His main hand could still grab the large fin just fine. Maybe a pair of waterproof gloves would be a good investment? Once Josh applied pressure with his knees, a narrow jet of water shot out of Snacker's back, the two jumping from wave to wave as they circled the outside of the pool. He leaned left, then right to test turning. The Sharpedo was responsive to Josh's commands but not overly so, giving him a happy medium that would allow for precise turns while avoiding spinning out completely - an issue many nimble Water-types had.
"Come on, Snacker, let's go faster!" Josh cried as they rounded the pool again. The water-type snapped his jaw and thrust upward once, but Josh saw the bucking motion coming and was able to brace himself. The water pressure coming out of his mount's back grew, the two creating a big wake that splashed some water out of the pool at the waves' greatest crest. "Yee-ha!" he cried, the two bouncing along the rough waves like a speeding, personal watercraft. "Man, I wonder how fast you can get?" Josh mused as the two rounded a turn at the back of the pool, riding a particularly strong wave to its front.

Hmmm, not doing too hot it seems. Elazul have a bit of a problem with floating with Agate on his back... it's more of an issue that he's not sure how deep that he should go diving, and how much so Agate's items could stay dry. Swamperts prefer to go deeper generally... Well, that's fine. Agate decided to talk to the Swampert of how much he want him to float... it takes him about three minutes to finally get the proper depth that both of them are comfortable with.
"Alright, great job Elazul. Next, let's stay like this until you could handle the bobbing, alright?" Agate told the Swampert, who gave an affirmative cry.
Oh look at that, there's Josh here too! Agate waved at him. Is that a Sharpedo? Made him wonder how would Aquartz looked when she's bigger. He really would love to jet across the wave with her... but she's probably too small to be ridden? Either way, Agate gently patted the Swampert. "Alright, Elazul, time to swim. Pass through those rings."
Seeing the rings, Elazul would try to swim to pass through it. Interestingly, Elazul is quite fast on water, faster than when he's on the land... Agate gently pat him.
"...I wonder how much faster you will be when you become a Mega Swampert," Agate mused. It's not a secret that the fourteen years old have a Mega Stone, Swampertite in his hand at the moment, which would make the Swampert into Mega Swampert. Despite their bulk apparently they can swim faster than the regular one? Strange, but it just happens. TWC: 549/1000 YhE3DJEep_ 90/100
Snacker rode the wave all the way to the front of the pool, using his tremendous agility to turn around and even double back over it by the time it got all the way up to the front. Yanked in the opposite direction from his own inertia when the Sharpedo turned around, Josh was nearly flung off his Pokémon's back again, his arm a little tender from gripping the fin so hard. He did one more loop around the outside of the pool before gently slowing down and letting Josh dismount.

While recalling the water-type, he noticed Agate was on top of a Swampert, alternating between surface swimming and being fully submerged. Figuring he wouldn't get much of a chance to say hello while his young friend was underwater, Josh headed toward the mock race course on the outside of the Training Grounds' water park. The course appeared to be a simple figure eight, with a tunnel that was partially underwater.
Josh released Resheph, having brought aquatic tack but felt it would be better to test without the tack first. He started to wonder how feasible tack would be when he climbed atop the majestic dragon's slippery back. Though the forward-running current would keep the two moving, he was sure Resheph was eager to get off the line and accelerate into a swift swim. "Alright, go for it!" Josh cried, the white and blue serpent's tail rapidly uncoiling and swishing behind him. He felt every flick of the tail throw him around a little, the rider quickly wrapping his arms around the Dragonair when a particularly strong pulse caused his leg to slip. Leaning low on his mount had a price, though - water from the Dragonair's wake splashed all over his visor, making it harder for him to see. He might need to get a different helmet for underwater races!

Kay, looks like all is going well! His Swampert managed to pass through the rings. Agate decided that he should do one last thing to complete the training... "Let's see... Alright, Elazul! This time it'll be a bit different. We're going to try dodging some Pokemons while on the water. Thankfully, these are friendly Pokemons... On the sea, I'd like to dodge as many water Pokemon as possible if I can help it. Unless we have Aerial Pokemons, it'll probably hard to fight on the water unless we're fighting on top of a Wailord..."
And so some of the assisting trainer released some Sharpedos. Welp, time to swim fast. Elazul understood that the resistance while underwater is far greater than resistance if Agate is floating, so to reduce the resistance, the Swampert immediately poked his head out from the water, and swam faster than before. With his tailfin as a rudder, he easily fought against the water. But Sharpedos are known for their speed. They're very fast. They're however kind of suck at turning (courtesy to their shark look without tail to turn). It's something that Elazul have meanwhile. He dodged the Sharpedo thanks to Agate giving him signal.
The speed which the Sharpedo blasting straight ahead even after they managed to dodge it is kind of scary not gonna lie...
But with this he hope that his training will be over.. Soon enough, as he lose these four behind him...
The faster Resheph swam down the opening stretch, the more Josh realized he was going to need some kind of harness on her, whether he wanted to or not. He seemed to be coping with it well for the time being, the Dragonair letting out a majestic cry of her own. She seemed to be happy to finally be able to carry her trainer instead of her trainer having to carry her everywhere. "Alright, let's see how you turn!"
The racer shifted his weight to his left, though he had to quickly adjust when the Dragonair turned her body counterclockwise, Josh's right leg almost all the way out of the water upon reaching the crest of the first turn in the figure eight. "Phew, might have to invest in a diving helmet for aquatic races!" he remarked, more water splashing into his visor upon coming out of the turn.
The two had a long, wide, and straight stretch of course to practice lighter turns on. He shifted back and forth on the serpentine dragon-type, getting a feel for how responsive she was to his turning commands. It felt highly responsive, but they were also not going terribly fast. There would be time to practice racing techniques...but this wasn't that time. The two were coming up to the underwater tunnel. It was a straight shot, but Josh still had to make it through a dive. He straightened Resheph's angle before gently pushing down behind her neck, the two descending into the tunnel.
