Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
To participate in the Swarm, first post in this thread looking for a Pokemon. A mod will tag you and reply with stats for one Pokemon you find, including color and possibly even evolution depending on the species. Reply again encountering and trying to capture the Pokemon. Once you succeed, do not post in the thread again.
You may only find one per character, no rerolls. This is to prevent spamming to find special Pokemon. If for any IC reason you need to encounter another, use the same stats originally rolled and pretend it's a different individual.
Pokemon in Swarms have a 20% chance of being a special coloration!
Pokemon in swarms have a +20% capture rate with any ball, and will never flee.
This swarm closes at 11:59pm site time on August 4. After that, no new encounters will be spawned. However, anyone who has an ongoing encounter that isn't yet finished has until 11:59pm on the 15th of August to finish trying to catch their encounter. After that, the thread will be locked and archived.
"...Could you believe that I'm here with all these eggs?" Agate asked to no one in particular... well, actually... someone, yeah. Ruri the Frogadier. As of why he's here, well... Ruri is asking him to train her so that she could become Greninja faster. Not a bad idea, but still... a water/dark in this sort of place? In Ralts swarm, that also might be swarm for Gardevoir? He have no idea what on earth is she thinking... or why he brought her to this place, but... Here they are.
...By the way, he got three Ralts eggs with him too. Eggs that almost about to hatch that is. If he... isn't wrong about the timing, it might be about to hatch soon after all...
Now, he just hoped to see what's inside, and hopefully found someone... experienced to train these young uns.
Juuust as he said that, suddenly three Ralts popped out from their Eggs! Darn! That was too sudden! The last of the bunch suddenly released a misty terrain! Hey, what on earth! The biggest Ralts just like that joined the swarm, leaving him with the tiny one. Aaargh! That was too much for Agate, who massaged his forehead as he tried to chase the Ralts. In the middle of that, a voice suddenly rang out.
<Are you in trouble, lad?>
Stepping out from the clearing is a Gardevoir. From the voice... it's a masculine one? This one too have less of a dress to his looks, and more like a tailcoat. Interesting.
<Two rambunctious boys eh? Sounds like you got quite the job ahead of you. Let's see... I'll get them, please wait here.>
With that the Gardevoir left Agate and Ruri alone...Just after a bit, he returned with two of the Ralts that Agate was missing.
"Oh, uh, thank you! And I'm very sorry about this."
<It's no concern. The big one is a bit rash, but the problem is this one... he's the youngest, isn't he? This one is naughty, and is the one who used this misty terrain. Quite the prankster...>
"Oh, um... if you don't mind, would you..."
<Come with you?> the Gardevoir asked in turn <I don't understand why. You got three Ralts. Sooner or later they would be similar enough to me. Probably more suited for battling too. I can't see why you still want to recruit me in spite of that.>
"Well, it's matter of experience, and... frankly these three Ralts are my first psychic-types... I don't quite understand how to deal with them... and so I was hoping... and plus, there's this aura about you that felt to me as if you're someone I really need to guide me. To understand nature of Pokemons better, you see... and so, if you don't mind..." Agate offered a Pokeball to the Gardevoir. Pokeball go!
Gabe had to wonder if the psychic pressure that had wracked his brain a few weeks back was tied to the sudden swarming of one of the best known psychic Pokemon around. There was no way to confirm it outside of outright talking to members of the swarming Ralts line, and that was part of why he was out there on Route 7. The other reason was that he was just interested in catching a Ralts and having a Gardevoir and Gallade pair eventually.
Walking around slowly with a Growlithe egg in his backpack just waiting to hatch, Gabe hummed as he sifted around. He could practically hear the psychic thoughts resonating in the air, but unlike human thoughts that came as whispers at a distance, these were not only hard to hear but hard to register meaning from.
That’s where Harriet and Lulu came in, however. The huge Alakazam walked alongside Gabe, her sights scanning the area. The small Ralts sat on his shoulder and scanned the feelings in the area as best she could.
Lying flat down in Gabe’s shadow was back up in the form of Spirit the Marowak, just in case.
And up ahead of everything, Lizbeth herself walked surveying the area. She of all his Pokemon was determined to notice something first.
