Now that she would soon have her own Pokemon, it was time for Scarlett to prepare for her travel. One thing she knew she would need before heading off was a bit of money. Luckily, it seemed the post office was understaffed at the moment, with some new people moving into Cherry town. Which meant she could help people and earn some money along the way.
Entering the post office, Scarlett saw the familiar face of the mailman right away. She gave him a bright smile. “Good Morning. Mom told me you are searching for help in delivering some letters?” After this she was promptly given several letters and the directions to where they would need to be delivered. “I’ll come back and tell you once I delivered them all.” Saying this, Scarlett headed off.
Outside the building, she stopped for a moment to make a mental map of where she needed to go. She wanted to make sure to take the best route for reaching all of them without too many detours. “Seems like I’ll have to go all over the town.” she muttered. But then again, this was basically just taking a walk while taking care of a few other things along the way. Thinking this, she set off to the first destination.
Mail Delivery Recurring; Anyone | 1-2 people 4 posts per character minimum With so many people moving to Arciel lately, and so many hopeful young trainers constantly moving around, keeping up with the mail has become a nightmare! Luckily, many of those same hopeful young trainers are in need of a quick buck. Help the local post office by delivering a batch of mail to some of the more temporary residents in town. Just remember, tampering with other people's mail is a crime!
Instructions Posts must be at least 150 words to qualify as a post. Each character present in the thread must post at least four (4) times to meet the minimum requirements for the job. You must deliver at least 3 pieces of mail to complete the task.
You will not receive rewards until you close the thread. Specifics of the task: Deliver mail around town on foot or on the back of a Pokemon, and potentially interact with some folks as you give them their mail.
Locations: Any city/town
Rewards: 75 Pen, 3 Rare Candies, and +2 Agility for completing the task, + 25 additional Pen per random event. You can also optionally earn +1 Crime if you tamper with or read the mail, just don't get caught. For each post interval past the minimum [8, 12, etc], earn an extra 75 Pen and 1 more Rare Candy.
Looking good! There are several options you could take, if you go to each address in relative order you'll really be going all over town. However, if you keep going along this street you could make a relative loop that will end back at the post office. Easy right? Oh look! Just a block or two to go and you could be at the first address!

This was it. If she went to the addresses in this order, she wouldn’t need to make any detours. With a spring in her step, she moved on to the first address on her route. It didn’t take long for her to reach the place. A somewhat small house. Thinking about it, she really didn’t know who lived here. Maybe they moved in recently? Double-checking the address on the letter, she walked up to the house.
There didn’t seem to be a mailbox though. Apparently she would have to deliver the letter personally. After walking up to the door, she hesitated for a moment. Speaking to a stranger was always a bit stressful to her. Then she rang the doorbell.
A few moments later, a woman opened the door, muttering a questioning “Hello?”. Scarlett smiled at the woman. “Hello. I’m helping out at the post office. Since you don’t have a mailbox, I decided to give it to you personally.” Saying this, she offered the letter to the woman. After a quick look at the letter, the woman nodded. “Thanks.”
“No problem. Have a nice day!” Saying this, Scarlett left to head to the next address.
Look at you go! If you keep up this pace you'll be done in no time. The next house has big bold numbers that match one of your parcels. A mother is watching her three children playing in the front yard. They excitedly rush over to greet you.

Arriving at the next house, Scarlett was greeted by three excited children. One of them almost knocked her over when rushing over to her and stopping too late. “Careful.” Scarlett said with a laugh. The kid looked a bit embarrassed, but laughed as well. “Sorry.” “No problem. Nothing bad happened, right?” Scarlett said. She liked kids. They were usually happy and adventurous, wanting to explore the world. It was a bit sad how many people seemed to give up on their big dreams and wishes once they grew older. Something she hoped would never happen to her.
“But now, I have to deliver this veeery important packet.” Scarlett said in a joking tone while pointing at the parcel. As she walked over to the mother, she heard the kids whisper behind her back. Something about the parcel possibly being someone's birthday present, as far as she could tell.
The mother smiled, although she seemed a bit exhausted. “Hi. Sorry, they can be a handful sometimes.” “No worries. They’re nice children.” Scarlett offered the Parcel to the mother. “I think this is for you.” Taking the parcel, the woman nodded. “I’ve been waiting for that. Thank you for delivering it.” “Anytime.” Saying this, Scarlett headed off, giving the kids a little wave. “Have fun you three.” Now, off to the next place.
The next house is by a lakefront. You are greeted at the door by... an Inteleon? He elegantly unfurls in his hand a note stating that the owner is away on business, and waits for you to hand him the mail to sign off on.

Scarlett couldn‘t help but stop for a moment to take in the view on the lake. Even though she had been at the lake before, a different angle or a different light was enough to give it an entirely different feel. This was something she was also looking forward to when traveling throughout Arciel. She would be able to see even more beautiful places.
Continuing on towards the house, she noticed that it also had no mailbox. Apparently she would have to deliver the mail to the person directly again. Only moments after Scarlett rang the doorbell, someone opened the door. But to her surprise, it was an Inteleon. And it had a note in his hand, stating that the owner was away at the moment.
Could she just give the letter to the Inteleon? It wasn’t the one the letter was addressed to after all. Then again, dropping a letter in a mailbox was also not delivering it directly, and that was okay. Also the Inteleon was inside the house, meaning it did probably belong to the owner of the house. It would probably be okay, Scarlett thought as she handed the letter to the inteleon.
The Inteleon-butler accepts the envelope, reads it over, and tucks it into the crook of his tail for safekeeping. He gives you a curt bow and bids you farewell. On to the next house!

By now, Scarlett had a new impression on mailmen. If every workday was like this for them, they probably knew everyone in the town. Thinking about it, she realised that the mailman was one of the people she saw almost everyday. Once she got to Plum City, she decided, she'd check if she could help at the post office as well. It seemed to be the perfect way to get to know a city and the people living within it.
Arriving at the next house, she was both relieved and a bit sad to find a mailbox in front of it. It was a letter she could deliver without much trouble, but it also meant meeting one less person. Then again, she felt she had met enough people for today. It was quite exhausting, adapting to different people and situations like that.
Checking her bag, she realised that she was all out of parcels. “Seems like that was it.” Scarlett headed back to the post office to tell the mailman that all parcels were delivered.
