She'd chuckled lightly at his casino comment, but had been more than happy to get wrapped up in him and forget the topic after.
Her back arched lightly as his hand trailed down, almost involuntarily, much like a cat being pet. Oh? Her bottom lip stuck out again in a slight pout as he hesitated, even if it was framed as being out of consideration for her. At least, until that pause and '...unless?' Wh--
Riley had to pull back just a hair to avoid headbutting him as she snorted, her hand flying up to cover her lower face. "S-sorry, just..." She snickered softly. Was he intentionally meming right now or was that a coincidence? Which was even the better option? On the one hand she ought to almost feel a little insulted if it was intentional, but humor was pretty much her lifeblood, so she hardly minded. Either way, she shook her head, brushing off the thought.
"Where were we?" Right, yes. Showing her he wanted her. She grinned, leaning back in and challenging, "What's the matter? Too shy for a little PDA? Afraid to make a scene?"
Touma, for his part, was a little confused. Had he done or said something that was funny? Or was it nerves on her end? If it was, it was incredibly cute, and he found it pretty endearing, enough that it caused the corners of his lips to turn a little in a warm smile. But soon enough she was back, closing the distance between them again and ah, that was a challenge if he ever did hear one.
“I just thought,” he began in a low murmur, tilting his head just enough so the words could ghost over her lips instead of what they might both want him to do. The proximity made it so he was looking at her from under lowered lashes, the look in his pale eyes both languid and intense all at the same time. His fingers spread to span her lower back like an anchor, keeping her close.
“Since you have a contest coming up, you might want to avoid any extra attention.” There’s a nip of teeth at the corner of her mouth - and then he leaned back, all smiles, affecting an air that was so innocently pleased it was almost laughable. His voice returned to a normal volume and he practically beamed at her.
“Right? But if it’s shyness you’re concerned with,” he continued, and the fingers on her back shift, find the folds in the fabric to glide over bare skin. “You don’t have to worry about me.”
Riley squinted as he gave his explanation, only to gasp softly, wantingly, as he nipped at her, almost but not quite kissing her. Oh, teeaase... But soon enough, she closed her eyes and hummed softly as his fingers found bare skin again. Mmmmm~ That was nice... but not nice enough, hehe. Her eyes slowly opened again, remaining lidded as she looked back up to him again, a finger tracing circles on his chest. "Ohh, babe, have I got some news for you..." she murmured softly, laughing just as soft after.
"If that kind of attention is gonna cause me trouble as a coordinator, then I'm just gonna have to get used to dealing with it," she told him. Leaning in to his ear again, she purred, "I'm a very.. dirty... naughty girl...~"
She drew back, grinning smugly. "Now... Why don't you either c'mere and tell me how much you want me properly," she began. "Or shut the hell up and kiss me already." She smirked and finished, "Or maybe both~" Both would be awfully nice, but she could do with just one or the other, eheh.
That wasn’t what he’d been expecting, and for a moment he couldn’t come up with an appropriate response. He could count the number of times he’d run into someone like her on one hand, and he was both sure and unsure about what to say or do next.
But if she wanted a kiss, he could hardly say no to that. He let his fingers linger where they were on her back but let his other hand come up, carefully, and nudged her chin up to a proper angle for him. His gaze drifted down, then up, half lidding, and finally, finally, he gave in and leaned in to kiss her. It was soft and sweet, barely a taste, but the fingers under her chin shifted to press down and parted her lips for him so he could deepen it smoothly with a honeyed glide of his mouth over hers.
If Riley wasn’t aware how into the whole thing he was she’d soon find out, especially when he let both hands encircle around her waist and pressed her down into his lap. There was definitely no mistaking that want.
The wait for him to act felt like it took forever, and in the meantime, Riley wasn't quite sure what this vibe she was picking up off him was. Uncertainty? Hesitation? Fear? Surely not distaste? Had she put him off by admitting that she was an unashamed slut? Was he one of those exhausting men who lost interest when they realized they weren't getting the girl all to themselves?
Fortunately, he did move to kiss her, but... Oh, hm... This was... kind of sweet, and endearing in its own way, but endearing was not what Riley wanted right now. As the kiss went a bit deeper, she did feel a little less disappointed, but... Ultimately, some level of disappointment was still on the table, and that was never good.
She looked up to him, a little questioning. Just as she was about to ask if she was being too pushy, though, he moved and pushed her-- O-oh?? Her eyes lit up once more as she felt his evidence... Well then... It would seem even if he was a bit reserved in public for her liking, he had some bite to him yet. She could work with this~
Sitting back upright, she asked, "How about we get out of here now, hm?" She grinned softly. "You still wanna walk, or..." She gave him a quick, discreet squeeze before asking, "Should we just call a cab?"
Oh, if only she knew. If he'd had any issue with her being a slut he would be a massive hypocrit, the only major difference being Touma didn't generally kiss and tell. Not that he was ashamed by any means, as a matter of fact he was never one to shy from advances. Although unused to someone as strong as Riley coming onto him like this, he hadn't had any reservations about making good on what they were dancing around each other for. If he ended the night in a different bed, that was great, but the conversation was going well enough he would have enjoyed just that itself even if it ended with nothing happening. He never felt like he was owed anything and his dry spells never really tended to last for long.
The only thing actually stopping him from doing things in public was the paranoia that something would get back to his siblings. He'd gotten rather close a few times, but ultimately he or they would stop and he would remember his family back home - a mood killer if ever there was one - and things would move somewhere more discreet.
But this was tempting - she was tempting.
When she sat upright, ultimately breaking the kiss, he followed her, pulling his arms away from her waist but letting his hands rest lightly on her hips, bunching up the fabric of her dress just slightly. He was about to respond to her suggestion but then she squeezed and he dug his nails in, voice stuttering in his throat. Oh, that was cheating, and it showed on his face, in the rueful smile he flashed before he shifted out of the booth and pulled her along with him.
"Cab. I have a feeling I'm going to need to conserve all the energy I have."
Oh, she was definitely cheating, but then, all was fair in love and war, right? This probably fell somewhere between the two, but counted, as far as she was concerned. She gladly followed as he pulled her out of the booth. A brief glance around didn't show anyone particularly paying attention to them. Aww, it was always fun to have a bit of an audience, but oh well. She pulled her phone from the small purse she carried when he agreed on a cab... and smirked wickedly at his reasoning. "You can bet that cute ass you will," she teased, giving him a wink.
Punching a few options on an app, she told him, "Cab should be here any minute. We should go ahead and wait outside." Squeezing his hand, she led him outside to find it colder than she remembered. "Oh yikes." Maybe a strapless dress wasn't the best option for this time of year. She wrapped her arms around herself, shivering a bit.
Fortunately, the cab pulled up within a minute. "Thank Arceus." She climbed in and waited for Touma, relishing in the cab's heater. Much better.
"The roads are a bit icy tonight," the cab driver told them. "So I hope you all don't mind a bit of a slow ride."
Riley almost snickered at the last word, but refrained and said simply, "That's fine. Safety first~" With that, they were off, and her attention was back on Touma. Hmmmmm... Well now, they had a few minutes, so... She could see if he just wanted to make out on the way there, now that it was a little less public. Or she could spend the ride whispering all the things she wanted to do to him in his ear. Very tempting, that one... Or...
She smirked, resting a hand on his leg so her fingertips traced lightly along his inner thigh. "So, what got you started traveling anyway? Or what brings you to Arciel in particular?" That was right. Casual conversation, as if she wasn't even thinking about their destination, even as her hand subtly reminded him she absolutely was. It would be fun to see if he could keep his wits about him when he was so clearly wanting.
It was when Riley was calling the cab through the app that Touma patted his pockets and realized that he'd actually left his phone somewhere. It didn't take much thinking for him to remember that the newly-hatched Gible had taken to eating anything it could get its hands on, including his phone, and after he'd confiscated it and showed it the different games and apps on there the pokemon had been more inclined to sit there and play rather than shove it in its mouth. And then Espurr had come along, and Gible had taken to its unnerving staring like a fish to water - and left his phone on the bed.
The cab arrived rather quickly - perhaps the tourist boom had helped in that way, too - and it didn't take long before they were driving away towards the beach at a slower pace than he would have liked. After some shifting the blond managed to find a comfortable sitting position without taking up too much room, and he checked and double-checked his wallet to make sure there were things in there it would probably be a bad idea not to have, given the situation. He wasn't sure where they were going, so he had no way to tell if they were getting close or were even halfway there, and he could already his leg bouncing with a mixture of impatience and anticipation.
It was when they had traveled a good way and Riley's hand had made it to his thigh that he was about to reach over for her and say screw it, the back of a cab was private enough - but then she spoke, and the question caught him a little off-guard. He looked up at her, questioning, and considered that maybe she was trying to calm him down a little so that the ride wasn't as insufferably long as it was turning out to be. That was actually kind of nice.
Regardless, before he answered he gave that hand a long look - and if his legs shifted maybe a little to give her more room, he didn't comment on it. "Snowpoint City isn't all that large, and I was curious what the other regions were like. I'm a bit late to start a pokemon journey by a decade or so, so I figured just exploring was good enough for me." He glanced at the cabbie driver to see if he was paying any attention to them in the back. It didn't seem like he was. "As far as coming to Arciel... I heard about how it was apparently really cheap to come here and it was a good tourist area, and a chance to sort of break into a new profession or class without much of a hold-up." He shifted his gaze to Riley, genuine curiosity in his eyes. "What about you? What made you decide to come here?"
Riley happened to catch a glimpse of what he was looking at in his wallet, particularly when he went back the second time to double-check. She smirked. Not strictly necessary-- she was on birth control, after all-- but probably a good idea nonetheless for other safety reasons. She was clean as far as she knew, but found it more of a mood killer to ask her partner about such things than to just take precautions, so yeah.
As he answered her question, she listened attentively, but her hand continued to tease him. Late by.. a decade or so? Ah, and the way he said it-- 'am late' versus 'was late'-- made it sound like he'd started pretty recently. So judging when most people got their Pokemon, that would put him in his early to mid 20's probably, yeah? Even if he considered 18 a normal time to start a journey, he'd only be late 20's or so. Whatever the case, it wasn't like Riley was about to be offput by his age anyway, but it was still nice to know they were probably pretty close.
"Mm, I guess my answer's pretty similar," she replied. "I've had my partner Eevee, Hunter, for years, and I picked up another Pokemon here or there." 'Picked up', 'blatantly stole', whatever, heh. "But I didn't start really training until last year. I had... a bit of trouble back home." She wasn't in a habit of telling people she'd been to jail, particularly not on a first date. "But Unova's not exactly the best for the contest scene anyway. And I felt like a region like Hoenn or Sinnoh would be a little too 'big league' to easily break into the scene, and happened across an ad for Olida's tourism. So I'd moved out there to check out its contest scene, but found it disappointing."
Hm, how in-depth did she wanna get? She glanced out the window. Eh, fuck it, they still had a good few minutes at this rate. Her eyes did briefly trail down, and her hand trailed up before continuing to caress him in a much more sensitive spot. Her eyes met his again as she went on, as if nothing was out of place here. "I actually met a friend out there, though, Prem. He and I wound up catching a pair of Eevee brothers, so of course we had to keep in touch. But then Prem moved to Arciel for his own reasons, so I got curious about it. I found the same things you did, about it being pretty easy to get a fresh start here, and saw they had contests and showcases, the prior pretty regularly. So I figured between that and letting the Eevee bros see each other more often, it sounded like a good deal. And so far I've rather liked it here, so I've been sticking around~"
She leaned in a bit more, which put a bit more pressure on her hand. "You mentioned 'other regions', though.. Did you go to any others before here, or was it straight from Sinnoh to Arciel?" Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a landmark pass by the window. Shouldn't be too much longer...
A part of him is invested in what she's telling him, committing as many facts to memory as he can, but on the other hand - quite literally - he's more interested in the nails scraping through the fabric of his jeans along his inner thigh. Touma tried thinking of other things to try and help him focus better on her explaination; the last spooky game he'd played, a commercial about Cheerios, how long the walk to the next town/city would be... it worked well enough, but he still missed out on her last statement about being in trouble back home and a few things about contests.
"Is that so..." His eyes looked to the cabbie again and found that the driver was more or less concentrating on the road. For now, at least. What was she saying now? Prem? Oh-- that was a person's name. He had to focus, and he struggled for a moment to listen while his brain caught up with the conversation. But now her hand was moving up to a place that was a lot more sensitive than where she'd had her fingers before and his leg jumped a little at the sensation. Oh, she knew what she was doing. If he'd had any thoughts that maybe this was an innocent gesture they were completely banished when he glanced over at her and saw the way her eyes held his. She definitely knew what she was doing.
He didn't recognize any of the buildings outside the windows, but he did notice that the stragglers were few and far between and hardly any of them were actively looking into the cab. But his patience was starting to wear a little thin, and without really knowing where they were going he had no idea what their ETA was. Ten minutes? Fifteen? Five minutes?
... Screw it. He could work with that.
If she was wearing a seat belt he unbuckled it swiftly along with his own, then reached over and pulled both her and that pretty red dress over into his lap. There's a look in his pale blue eyes that could be considered a warning or mischief, but once his hand disappeared under red fabric it's probably an easy guess to tell which one it is. He mirrored her movement and the placement of her hand, though instead of the gentle caress she'd been teasing him with he pushed along her upper thigh to get her legs to widen for him, enough that he could fit himself snugly between them. Once that's done he set his hands on her hips to keep her from falling off, and proceeded to answer her questions.
"Kanto, Hoenn, Johto... Sinnoh, of course. Just those four I've been to before here. I wanted to try making my way to Alola, but was running low on funds and had to return home for a bit." He let one hand on her hip move, skimming fingers over her stomach and down, down, bunching up fabric as he went - until it returned to her upper thigh like before, only this time with an added caress and with the nail of his thumb scraping along the inside of her legs, so very close.
It didn't exactly take a genius or ace detective to figure out he was more than a little distracted. Hmmmmm, she wondered why~ She wasn't sure how much he actually got, but she wouldn't mind repeating any details another time if he was ever interested. For now this was mostly to pass the time anyway.
Hm? As her seatbelt came off her brows rose questioningly, and just like that she was pulled into his lap. Ooh~! Up front, the cabby leered questioningly into his rearview mirror, but said noting yet. Riley grinned at Touma, and almost made some coy remark, but given where his hand went next she gasped instead as her eyes rolled back a moment. "MMM, no fair," she mumbled, despite the fact that it was, you know, 100% fair. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately), both hands moved to her hips just after. And while she did flash a disappointed look for about a quarter of a second, she quickly realized she could work with this and smirked again.
As he answered her question briefly, she pressed herself closer to him, arms wrapping around his neck, body grinding hard against his.
"Hey, hey!" called the cabby. "Keep it in your pants, kids, we're almost there."
Riley giggled. "We are~" she sang back. Attention back on Touma, she continued her actions as she answered, genuinely even if it may not have sounded the most interested right that moment, "That's fascinating, though. You traveled so much without a Pokemon?" Or had he only had one partner, and, like her, simply not been a Real Trainer for a while? Either way, she'd hardly give him more time than it took to give a brief 'yes' or 'no' answer to that before continuing, "I'd love to hear more about your travels some time."
She smirked viciously. "Unfortunately, I do plan to keep your mouth quite preoccupied for the next good while...~" With that, one of her hands slid forward to his face, coaxing his mouth open a bit as she leaned in to kiss him, her tongue quickly finding a way to get tangled up with his.
For better or worse, though, this would last less than a minute before the cab pulled to a stop, and the driver cleared his throat. Riley moaned softly into the kiss for another second or two before pulling apart. "C'mon..." she said, a bit breathless. The cabby had already been paid through the app, so all they had to do was climb out and head inside.
The hotel itself was on the smaller side, hardly the fanciest, but resembled a large beach house, with a 'homey' feel and a location right on the shore, built onto stilts like much of Cedar's coastal architecture. Not that they were exactly there to appreciate the decor, heh. But all they needed was an affordable room with some privacy, and this would certainly suffice.
Touma was actually rather pleased with himself at her reaction since it was basically payback for all the teasing she'd given him throughout the night. As such when she asked him the question and followed it up with a kiss not long after, he reciprocated it with no hesitation and even a bit more enthusiastically than he'd been earlier. Maybe she'd find out the answer to her questions someday.
He just had enough time to let his fingers slide into her hair before the cabbie was clearing his throat and he realized the car had stopped. Riley pulled away before he could reflect on this further, and it wasn't long before they were both climbing out and standing on the wooden slats of the stilts the hotel was built on.
A gentle breeze blew by, bringing with it the salty smell of the sea and the sound of crashing waves over the shoreline. This late at night there was hardly anybody around, a majority of the tourists and citizens probably still populating the bars scattered around the city. Touma took a moment to appreciate the overall aesthetic of the place before looking at Riley beside him, and her figure outlined in the light of the stars and moon overhead was almost ethereal enough to make him stop breathing. Or maybe that was the alcohol, who knew. Regardless, it was enough to tempt him to pull her into him, which he did, and kiss her again as the cabbie driver pulled away from the hotel.
He lingered there for perhaps longer than was necessary, deepening the kiss in increments until his hands started to stray again, skimming down her back before hiking her dress up and pulling her closer - then nipped at her lower lip as he pulled away and began tugging her by the hand towards what he hoped was the front desk.
Riley would have made a beeline straight inside, but Touma had stopped for a moment. ...Hm? She glanced back, only to find the way he was looking at her brought a faint tinge of color to her cheeks. It wasn't quite the lustful gaze she was used to, but more like.. he was in awe for a moment. Before she could ask why, though, she was being pulled in and--
She squeaked a bit as he kissed her harder than before, but quickly went about returning it. A cold breeze chilled her legs as her skirt was lifted up a bit, but the kiss was warming her up from the inside out, and she didn't mind at all. Something about this simple little moment lingering before heading inside was oddly sweet (even with that little nip), and in a way she very much appreciated. Still, she was happy to follow him in once he took her hand.
Fortunately, there were no other patrons in the lobby, and they were able to get checked in quickly before making their way to their room. The door had barely closed by the time that lovely dress hit the floor, and she pulled him over to the bed, tugging away at his clothes all the while.
Quite some time later, Riley hummed contently in her afterglow as she lay playing with Touma's hair. "Mmmm~ You know, I'm really gonna need to get your number..." she purred. "We definitely need to do this again some time." She leaned in and pressed her forehead to his gently, nuzzling him sleepily.
Touma didn't even know what time it was or how many hours had passed, all he knew was that he was rather satisfied and would probably have to make a quick stop at the pokemart in the morning to replenish his supplies. Also, it had been a long time since someone had been there to play with his hair like she was doing now, and he couldn't help but close his eyes to the feeling as she spoke. His only response was to let out an affirmative noise that was more sleepy grunt than anything, though at the nuzzle he did open his eyes enough to reciprocate the gesture with a low hum.
"... I think you'll have to give me yours, since I have a sneaking suspicion my phone is being eaten right now." Though Gible had been entertained enough by the games, he wasn't sure if that was enough to sate the pokemon's need to chew on everything it could get its hands on - including the phone. He could actually envision it finishing a game on the app and then just dropping the whole thing into its mouth after. They might have to work on that.
His own fingers sifted into Riley's long red hair, massaging at her scalp gently with light drags of nails over her temples. As he waited for his pulse to return to something normal his gaze scanned the room tiredly, looking from the clothes on the floor to the curtains covering the window, then to the scattered furniture they'd bumped into in their haste. At least they hadn't completely trashed the room and, besides that, he expected that the innkeeper half-expected it with how tourist-friendly the area was. "How much longer do you think you'll be in Cedar Town?"
Hm? Oh, giving her number instead was fi--She snorted even as she sputtered, "What??" She didn't actually press for an explanation, assuming a Pokemon was involved in some way at least, but did giggle a bit at the thought. "All right, but you'd better get that phone replaced and be sure to call~" She'd hardly be heartbroken if he didn't, but she would be rather annoyed.
Her eyes rolled back a bit before closing at the soothing feeling of being pet. "Mmmmm...~" She could happily fall asleep just like that, but a question pulled her out of her reverie. "Mm?" Her eyes only half opened. "Ah, I have to be back to Birch in about a week, but what I do until then is pretty up in the air at the moment." She grinned. "Why? Not eager to let me go just yet~?" she teased. "Or..." She stifled a small yawn. "I guess... do you have plans for tomorrow? If not, maybe... we could figure out something during the day and rent the room another night~?" If he was busy, oh well. But if not, he did seem very pleasant company.
Getting the phone replaced would absolutely be a top priority if his Gible was chewing on it; especially since it was the only reliable way he had of contacting his family and vice-versa. He supposed there was also post mail, but delivery pokemon probably weren't nearly as fast as a phone call. Plus, he also couldn't video call, which had become something of a necessity for his siblings every time he acquired a new pokemon.
"Well," He began. "I do have to get to the next city to intern at the Pokecenter there eventually. So I'll have to leave sometime, but I don't think it's anything I really have to rush." He had no illusions about what this was and it seemed like she didn't either which was nice, and also how most of his rendezvous tended to go. Another night seemed like a good idea after he'd returned and made sure his pokemon were good. He certainly wouldn't complain.
"Oh - I don't have plans, but I should probably stop by the pokemart in the morning." Just to make sure he reached over for his wallet on the nightstand and checked it again. Yep, he was empty. Actually... wouldn't it be open now? Were pokemarts open all night?
"Ah." Yeah, that made sense. Duty called and all that, but it was nice that he wasn't in a rush. She nodded too when he said he'd need to run to the store. But when she felt him move, she shifted a bit and looked to him curiously, only to realize he was checking his wallet. She got the feeling it wasn't for money, and snickered softly.
"Arceus, Touma, I know I'm pretty irresistible, but surely you'll be fine til morning." It had been a long night already. Not that she'd complain too terribly to be kept up even longer, but she was genuinely quite worn out. Pulling him back over to her, she smirked and added softly, "Though if not... I'm sure we could find a way to make due~" She laughed lightly before snuggling up a little closer.
"Mmm...~" Thinking a bit on what to do tomorrow, though, she belatedly realized, "Oh, by the next town, did you mean Bass? If so, it's been a while since I've been," (read: never actually in RP but ssh) "so maybe we could head there together tomorrow instead." It was a quiet musing more than a real request, but still. "Unless you'd prefer something in town." She yawned softly, pulling the blanket a little tighter over herself. "Sup to you...~"
"So long as you don't make things any harder for morning-me, I should be okay," He said it half teasingly, but with a knowing look in his eyes. After the events in the bar and in the cab, he'd be right not to trust her - not that he minded especially much. It made things rather fun.
As she suggested a few things, including journeying to Bass together, he raked fingers through his hair and rumpled it a bit more in thought. He wouldn't mind another person with him on the journey through Route Two. It would probably make the walk go a little faster to have some company that wasn't pokemon and that he could actually hold a conversation with. On the other hand, staying in Cedar Town and enjoying the sights would also be good and he could probably do with a little more relaxing - though a few more nights spent with Riley would probably make him more tired than anything. For now, he brushed her hair from her face and settled more comfortably, feeling sleep tugging at his senses.
"I'll sleep on it. I'd hate to keep you up any more." His eyes were closing, and he made sure to keep Riley pulled close, basking in the comfort of another body at his side. "You can tell me more about all the ways we can 'make do' in the morning." He murmured, and it wasn't long before he was drifting off to sleep.
As long as you don't make things harder, he said. I'd hate to keep you up, he said. Did he hear himself? Riley couldn't help but snicker softly. Oh, she would've loved to jump on either of those and tease him, but... Eh, another time. Now was sleep time. Settling down, she quickly drifted off as well.
She woke a bit before him the following morning. Mmmm... where was she again? Next to a warm body, that was always nice. Her eyes slowly fluttered open, and she took in the form next to her. Ooh, right~! Yes, she dearly liked this one. What a nice night.
She lay half asleep for a little while, but eventually began to get a little restless and snuggled up closer. "Mmmmmm, Touma...~" She let her hands wander, bothering him to wake him up. "C'mon, sleepyhead.." Her eyes trailed down, and... oh? Well, it was morning, after all. Perhaps she could wake him up in a bit more fun way~ She slid down beneath the covers. Perhaps they could consider this a 'thank you' for showing her such a good time~
By the time she was done with him, he was most certainly awake. Quite pleased with herself, she slid back up to be face to face with him and licked her lips, then reached out to play with his hair. "So what's the agenda for today? You've gotta pick up your Pokemon and supplies, and I need to hit my storage locker for clothes. But then what~?"
He absolutely called it. After one of the better sleeps he'd had in a while, by the time Riley was up Touma was still dozing fitfully next to her without a care in the world. Practically defenseless. A part of him had thought last night Riley would "wake him up" in the morning and he'd thought he would end up waking before her to get to it before she did, but apparently he was more tired than he'd thought. As such, it wasn't until she was well into things that he awoke, and not much long after that she was sliding back up to him and playing with his hair again.
Touma was already dazed when he awoke, and the "morning kiss" didn't really help matters. So it took him a little longer than necessary to regain his wits about him, and when he did he gave her a tired smile and propped himself up on his elbows, the fingers of his hand sliding around behind her head to pull her into a kiss. It was soft, sleepy and warm, but like before he nipped at her lower lip before pulling away with a murmur of contentment.
"If you don't mind the walk to Route Two, I could use the company." Blue eyes took in her pleased expression and he huffed a breath - then pushed and turned simultaneously, using the momentum to roll them both over, her onto her back with him hovering over her. As he pulled the sheets over his head to get them out of the way he added, "But first I think I need to pay you back." And then it was his turn to let his hands wander as he slid down, hot breath leaving goosebumps in his wake along her bare skin all the way down to his destination.
Needless to say, they had a bit of a late checkout.
