...Gourmet meals? Uh... Tiara was pretty sure this guy had her all wrong. Being a chef would be cool and all, but her one true dream was baking, arceus knows she did it every hour she was at home, cookies, pastries... but she'd getting ahead of herself. She's perfectly content just being a dishwasher! "I musn't have been clear, dishwashing isn't bad, it's not a starting place it's uh, my actual job, and just because im a dishwasher doesn't mean I wanna be a chef or anything, i'm happy with my job!" Not that she was or anything, but... it was fine. Tiara was starting to walk now, unable to keep Coronet from pulling her, and an apologetic glance was sent the duos way.

As Andy spoke Tiara shrugged, "She just wants to go home I think- the reruns of Grease are on soon afterall!" and yeah, pokemon having to keep moving in the cold weather was a thing. Josh was speaking but Tiara was slowly moving away, being pulled further and further, it was slightly hard to focus on his talks about racing and where the racing was...

As he spoke again Tiara shook her head, managing to call out, "It's fine! You guys don't need to catch up! I'm just doing my rounds then i'll double on home- and you're in the middle of race talk- eek!" Coronet was jogging now, further and further away and Tiara almost tripped over herself, "Coro, honey, human pace!" A glance again was given over her shoulder, "I'll see you guys around, okay?"

Well now Andy felt like a dweeb for jumping the gun and making such an assumption. He would mentally smack himself again for doing as Tia began heading off with Coronet. Tia would remark that the pokemon  just wanted to head on home, something that he wasn't going to stop, especially since clouds were forming on the horizon. Clouds that didn't exactly look pleasant looming off in the distance. Andy would watch as the pokemon would pick up the pace causing the lady to nearly trip again.  "I'll see you guys around, okay?" Andy would see her and the Frofrou soon disappear.

"Andy, I think they want us to pick up the pace a bit. Think you can keep up?"

"Actually I think she doesn't want us following her right now. Especially with the storm clouds that seem to be brewing on the horizon. While I think my pokemon would be fine in the rain, I'd rather not risk them, or us, catching a cold  out here. I suppose I could race you back to Birch City though" he would acknowledge Josh when Tia is no longer able to be seen.

Josh couldn't help but smile and even let out a chuckle when Coronet was dragging poor Tia down the road. "See you around!" he half-laughed, waving good-bye to Tia and her Pokémon before turning back to Andy. "I'm glad my Pokémon are either too small or too well-behaved that they don't drag me off." For now, anyway - he worried about the day Saber and Aslan evolved. That was a long time off, though. Perhaps they would grow up by then.

Once the two had disappeared, Twilight's eyes turned to the sky above them as Josh listened to Andy's suggestion of a race back to Birch. "Do you have a Pokémon for it? It's a bit cold for Nitro, and I don't have any other Pokémon that can." The Absol shook her back when Josh completely glossed over the more important point Andy was trying to make. "What is it, Twilight?" he asked, the Absol replying by tilting her head to the sky. The afternoon sun had sunk behind the black clouds, making it almost frighteningly dark for the time of day. "...Right. We should probably head back. If you have a Pokémon that can carry you back to Birch, I'd be down. Either way, we--"

A flash, then a boom.

"We...really need to get back to town." At least it didn't seem to be raining...yet.
