Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
Three optional icebreaker questions are offered: 1. If you could hang out with any cartoon character, who would you choose and why? 2. You're given 100,000 Pen, but you have to use it or lose it within a month. What do you spend it on? 3. What would your dream house look like, and where would you build it?
Feel free to discuss any of these or use your own icebreaker!
The last date had gone fairly well, or so Jazz thought at least. Between dates they'd opted to freshen up a little and make sure that their makeup and hair still looked great. It did, but they still wanted to make sure just in case. Besides, they wouldn't have caught the fact that their earring back almost slipped off if they hadn't. Taking a few moments to get some chocolate and champagne before walking over to the table, they were pleasantly surprised to see another familiar name. Riley? Now, what were the odds~. Should they look surprised? Mmm, perhaps. Of course there was always the chance that it was a different Riley but who knew at this point.
Well, it seemed their date hadn't arrived quite yet. Oh well, that was just fine with them. It gave them a chance to set both glasses of champagne down and the chocolates. Ah, but I do see their aura... Regardless, when Riley came around, Jazz stood and walked over to the other chair to pull it out for mmm, her from the looks of it~. "Fancy meeting you here, stranger~," Jazz mused, smiling brightly at his new date, "You look ravishing today~."
Hmmm... With the day half over, Riley was feeling... okay, but not great. Sidney was awesome, but didn't really give her FWB vibes. And Marley didn't really have the confidence she was looking for, plus he wasn't as cute as some of the patrons here. Not that she was entirely shallow, but maybe just a teensy bit.
When she saw the head of green hair at her next table, though, her eyes lit up. Now here was someone with confidence! "Hey!" She gladly took the offered seat and beamed up at him. "I see you're looking rather cute today yourself~" And rather androgynous, it seemed. It looked good on him! "A bit heavy on the black, though. I always liked you in brighter colors." She stuck out her tongue, flashing her tongue ring. "But really, how've you been? I haven't seen you online as much lately but I haven't been on as much myself. It looks like you've kept up experimenting with presentation though yeah?"
Jazz beamed at the compliment and spun around briefly to show off their outfit before sitting down across from Riley, "I feel cute~," they agreed, laughing at the mention of too much black, "Hey, I got this new cute camouflage top and wanted to wear it. Black goes with anything. How about next time we go shopping, you can choose all the color you want~, deal?" they continued, sticking their tongue out in turn.
At the next question, Jazz ran a hand through their hair. Ah, yeah, the rangers had been keeping them pretty busy. Ugh, that reminded them about that idiot that somehow wormed his way into the rangers. Anyway, the lighter topic first, experimenting was fun! "Yeah! I love being able to experiment. I guess I still don't know what you'd call me if you want to put a label on it. There are days that my gender is just yes," Jazz explained, grinning a little, "I even tried makeup today but yeah, the rangers have been keeping me pretty busy lately. Sometimes I'm lucky if I get an hour in. It's torture," that was an exaggeration and Riley would get that by the grin on his features that followed the comment.
"Speaking of rangers, I swear, there needs to be some sort of better screening system. There's this idiot that, get this, actually introduces himself as The Marshall Legend, the Wunderkind, Enigma, and Rising Star of the Ranger World. He's clearly lost in his own little world so much so that when I had to do a patrol with him, Marshall was convinced that I was a fan and that he was my idol," Jazz whined, shaking their head at this idiocy, "I told him off and he actually called me daddy, Riles! Fuck me if this moron wasn't hot too and any other day I might've went with it. But not on a fucking patrol. It's like he thinks the rangers are a joke and ugh, I can't stand him. If I hadn't lived it, I wouldn't believe someone so clueless existed... and he's in the rangers, Riles." Ok, that ended up being more of a rant than Jazz intended it to be but they had strong feelings about this ok!
Arceus fuck them... that was... Marshall right next to their table, wasn't it. Hiding their face in their hands, Jazz groaned and gestured to the the next table over, "And... Arceus kill me now... he's right there... d-don't make it obvious. If he recognizes me here, I swear I'll die."
