Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
Three optional icebreaker questions are offered: 1. If you could hang out with any cartoon character, who would you choose and why? 2. You're given 100,000 Pen, but you have to use it or lose it within a month. What do you spend it on? 3. What would your dream house look like, and where would you build it?
Feel free to discuss any of these or use your own icebreaker!

Adelaide was feeling a litttttle bit better after her last date, though she was still nerves on wheels, at the very least she wasn't shaking as badly and could spent one second not thinking of every little thing she could do wrong that'd get her on the front cover of a magazine for all the wrong reasons. Perfectly curled hair was pushed behind her ear and she smoothed out her slip dress, mentally ensuring everything was perfect, that she looked the part of perfect, before going over to find her next table, the name had slipped her so she just had to hope she could find it!
Okay.... uh- here! Who was she with, who was she wi- Primrose? Like, Bayleef? She wasn't going on a date with her Bayleef- what if this was a set up, somebody mocking her for her obviously terrible naming choice and letting her know they were about to blackmail her into doing her bidding all because she had a terrible naming choice with pokemon that in no way fitted how a coordinator should name her pokemon- ahhhh- they could even find her here!
Was she freaking out?? She was freaking out, breathe- deep breaths, Adelaide! The girl managed to slip herself into a chair, staring at the empty one before hoping to Arceus that Primrose was actually a girl and this wasn't some sort of threat- arceus, this could be a threat, this could be a threat?! What if her sister found her, what if her sister found her??? She could see it now, Adelaide Gladstone's terrible naming of her mons shows just how out of touch she is with her new home- or- uh- something like that! Where were the cameras, where were the people ready to sting her?!
Breathe- breathe? Her hands were clutching her purse far too tightly for it to be reasonable, and she'd hardly noticed the female take her place from across from her, too caught in trying to force herself to relax- if it wasn't for the sound of her chair Adelaide wouldn't have noticed her at all. Frantic eyes flicked up to Primrose, wide, scanning her-
Why did Adelaide let herself get dragged her she couldn't deal with all these girls?! ailor girls were one thing, but this girl was fluffy??? Fluffy and somehow she looked so cute that Adelaide was further struggling to breathe, was this the girl blackmailing her?! Was she going to out her to the magazines?! Hands tightened on her purse, and her lips opened ever so slightly, as if to speak before she shook her head- she should escape, she should flee- uh...
"Y-You're... y-you're not going to blackmail me... a-are you?" Voice barely a whisper, and stutter as audible as ever, Adelaides perfectly crafted facade broke in a terrified instant. "P-Please, tell me your names Primrose and t-this... this isn't some set up to o-out me about my p-pokemon naming abilities so the magazines c-can end my career b-before it's even started?!" Her voice began to rise before she shook her head once more and stared at Prim, waiting for an answer, anything to wave her worries away, she was on edge, her overthinking having all at once jumped to something incredibly extreme.
Her dates could've been going worse, and as time goes on, she finds herself loosening up, if only just. Gaki had been sweet, but nervous, and... well, the same could be said for Isaac. It seems that trend may only keep going as the girl who comes to be across from her stammers and shares her fear (that somehow, Prim was a blackmailer?) Nervous, more than sweet, but perhaps that is how it goes with people. [break][break]
"No?" She says, confused more than she is trying to calm the girl down, "No, I'm... I'm j-just here for the dating thing..." Briefly trailing off, and feeling guilty for making a pause in the conversation that may just send the girl into another fit (if how anxious she seemed to be now was any indicator of how much of a time bomb she was,) she's quick to pick up and say, "I'm definitely Primrose! W-Why--" Furrowing her brow, she shifts one way, then the other, "Do you have a Pokemon named Primrose?"[break][break]
Confusing. Primrose was a nice name, she liked to think - what was wrong with it? Now she's kind of worried, as to whether or not she had a bad name? Was it wrong? Should she change it?[break][break]
Oh, great. Now they're both nervous.[break][break]

The girl before her look confused, but thankfully not too offended??!? She said she was here for the dating thing- but that could be a lie too! Coincidences like this just don't happen, surely her sister had put this girl up to something- but- but... confusion like this- only a pro actress could fake it- did her sister hire an actress?! Or... no- no this girl was sweet, and confused, and she looked close to walking away and leaving Addy in the dust- uh- uhm?! But- what did she do- this girl was gonna hate her and go to the magazines and then she'd be everywhere! Or- maybe.. maybe not...uh...
Hands were rung through her hair and she attempted a very, very shaky smile. "...A... b-bayleef..." It was said softly, and she brought her gaze away, foot bouncing. Maybe she really was telling the truth! Maybe Adelaide was being rude, and if she was seen as rude it'd go around the venue and nobody would wanna talk to her, then it'd go out to the contest judges and-
Breathe! Deep breaths! Her fingers tugged on her hair and awkward mumbled "...sorry... m-my sister... she..." a head shake, ahh- ahh no! She can't bring her personal life up to a stranger, even if she was really fluffy, the stranger didn't even know her name, and she could be a spy! "...i'm... A-Adelaide..." She was clutching so tightly to her hair that her knuckles were turning while and she quickly let go, bringing them to her lap. "...Sorry- s-sorry- uhm- uh- I... t-thought my sister hired a r-really- r-really cute girl to trip me up- s-so.. so the... the uh- journalists- w-would... would... make an article... a-about me... a-and- how... uhm..." When she said it out loud it sounded insane, she sounded insane, and she was going to make the girl uncomfortable, she should leave?!
She should leave, yeah- but- she wasn't moving, she wasn't moving and she was shaking and- and- tears pricked at her eyes, she was frozen, another soft, "S-Sorry- i'm... i-i'm new to this?" Was her only excuse.
