Swarm Rules:

• To participate in the Swarm, first post in this thread looking for a Pokemon. A mod will tag you and reply with stats for one Pokemon you find, including color and possibly even evolution depending on the species. Reply again encountering and trying to capture the Pokemon. Once you succeed, do not post in the thread again.
  
  
• You may only find one per character, no rerolls. This is to prevent spamming to find special Pokemon. If for any IC reason you need to encounter another, use the same stats originally rolled and pretend it's a different individual.
  
  
• Pokemon in Swarms have a 20% chance of being a special coloration!
  
  
• Pokemon in swarms have a +20% capture rate with any ball, and will never flee. 
  
  
• Swarms close at 11:59pm on the last day of each month. After that, no new encounters will be spawned. However, anyone who has an ongoing encounter that isn't yet finished has until 11:59pm on the 15th of the following month to finish trying to catch their encounter. After that, the thread will be locked and archived.

Elise stood at the outskirts of Plum City looking out at Route 4 beyond. She was headed towards Cherry Town to check up on the farm, but upon hearing that there was a Teddi-bear er… Teddiursa swarm in the area, she’d decided to slow a little bit and have a look around for one.

At her side was Stella, her Skarmory, recently trained to catch the wind under her wings and fly them both. “Ready to go?” Elise turned to Stella who twitched and then gave a nod. Elise smiled and shifted around throwing her arms around her neck and pulling herself and her backpack up onto the metal bird. Stella beat her wings a few times and then managed to climb upwards into the air just above the trees. Looking down over the bird’s shoulder, Elise’s brath caught. It was… so beautiful. She loved being in the air!

As they circled around, Elise would see it! A strong looking Ursaring with… darker fur than usual? Was walking through the forest! “Land us down over there, Stella!” Elise directed. The Skarmory tilted a little and circled back around before managing to land them relatively close to the Ursaring. The latter, meanwhile, had been watching this spectacle from the sky and frowned on the intrusion into his space. A low rumble reverberated from her in warning. She was strong! Powerful! She would not hesitate to—

Battle.

“Stella! Show time!” Elise called. The Skarmory gave a metallic sounding response and broke into the air. “Swift!” Circling up and around the Ursaring in a wild way, the Skarmory then released a sea of stars that went crashing down on the Ursaring. The latter raised up her arms to block some of the attack before throwing them open again and roaring in response. She had taken the first attack! Now she would dish one out! Forming a Hammer Arm, she swung the Fighting Power in the direction of the Skarmory. Elise squeaked. “Fly high, Stella!” The Skarmory soared upwards managing to just barely avoid the attack. The Ursaring roared in response.

The battle went on like that for a short bit with a well placed Sand-Attack keeping the Ursaring from actually managing to make contact with the Skarmory and the latter slowly picking away at her health. Taking out a Pokeball, Elise tossed it at the Ursaring while she was distracted!

Faolan thought this might be the last swarm she'd heard rumors about, but she's not entirely sure. With all the traveling she's done she wouldn't be surprised if she might have hit all the ones that were currently active, but regardless this would probably be the last one she sought out for the time being.

After deciding on who to take with her, the newly-evolved Reddy was a glaringly obvious choice - not just for his size and speed, but also the efficient Fighting-type move it had that would do well against normal-types. With the tall buildings of Plum City behind her, she made her way idly out past the gate and into the wild areas, her eyes watchful and mind alert.
