Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
So you've (presumably) seen the Quest Board, and know what Quests are. But let's say you have an idea for a specific thread you wanna play out. Socials won't provide the kind of rewads you think the storyline deserves, and Discoveries are too unpredictable. That's where reQuests come in!
Here, you may submit an idea for a Quest, and staff will look it over to either approve it or suggest changes to make it feel more fair and balanced. This is a new and imprecise system, and the value of some rewards such as skill points may be subjective, so there are few official guidelines yet on how to structure a reQuest. The only way to find out if your idea will work is to ask!
RULES
When submitting a reQuest, you must use the provided form below, post in this thread, and mod call.
You must state if the Quest is Private, can be done only by a certain group (i.e. only Explorers or only Chimera), or is open to anyone. Quests that are not private have a higher chance of being accepted. If a non-private reQuest is approved, it may be either added to the Quest Board for anyone to do at will, or saved in the Staff forum and occasionally offered to characters in Discovery threads or when otherwise meeting a Questgiver NPC.
By submitting a non-Private reQuest, you are agreeing to let the site permanently use your plot idea for all future characters. For contributing in this way, you will be rewarded with an extra 300 Pen in addition to the normal Quest rewards the first time you complete the Quest. This applies to every player included in the "Submitted by" section of the reQuest form, so if you're collabing with someone on an idea, be sure to include them so you can all get extra money!
Be sure to be thorough in the explanation of your reQuest. It's much easier for us to trim down unnecessary information than to add detail for you, so too much is better than not enough. The more thought-out your reQuest, the better its odds of being approved, as well. .
You may ask for ANYTHING on site as a reward. This includes, but is not limited to: skill points for any skill (including Luck, Aura, and Psychic), specific Mega Stones/Key Stones (reward should be "one ___ of choice" for non-private Quests so future Questers can get different ones), or even Special-colored Pokemon from past swarms (normally unavailable after the swarm passes). Rewards already available from other Quests are also viable, and have the best chance of being approved as private Quests (ex: an alternative bike quest or a different way to do flight training).
You may NOT reQuest meeting Legendary Pokemon or Ultra Beasts.... yet. ;3
You may only have one active Quest at a time, but you may submit as many reQuests at a time as you want for pre-approval and helping out the site with ideas.
Do your best to make sure the reward is balanced by the requirements, and have fun!

Dragon Clan Initiation Once, Anyone | 1-2 people 7-15 Posts Dragon-type Pokémon are notorious for being the most difficult type of Pokémon to catch and raise. Deep within the Dragon's Den is a clan of Dragon-type Pokémon trainers that safeguard hidden and powerful techniques for certain Pokémon. They will only initiate into their clan and share their gifts with trainers who prove themselves worthy, in body, mind, and spirit. The trials consist of physical challenges for both the trainer and their Pokémon as well as difficult questions that test the leadership skills and the purity of heart necessary to truly control and master dragon Pokémon.
Instructions Each post must be a minimum of 150 words to qualify. At the end of each post, do a [ proll ] (no spaces), then do a Mod Call to receive a random event to react to. You must react to the random event before continuing on, and roll again at the end of each post, etc. You may finish the initiation training when your total combined dice rolls have reached 300 and you have at least 7 posts, or at the end of the 15th post if you haven't reached 300 by then.
Notes: This quest is non-Private. Characters must have a full party of Pokémon level 30 or above to undertake this Quest.
Location: Dragon's Den
Rewards: 250 PD, 7 Rare Candies, and one of the following: a) A Dratini egg that hatches with the move Extreme Speed b) The ability to teach Extreme Speed to one of your Dratini-family Pokémon one time. c) The ability to teach Draco Meteor to up to three of your compatible Pokémon of your choice.

Mod notes: Use of Ice-type and Fairy-type Pokémon in the challenges tends to not go well with Clan members. The difficulty of the tasks should be adjusted for trainers who intend to use those types of Pokémon during the trials. Physical trials can include battles against dragon Pokémon, obstacles designed to test the bond between trainer and Pokémon, etc. Mental trials can include difficult questions that test the ethics and leadership capabilities of the Trainer involved. These questions should be worded as to have no right answer, but the clan should be able to paint a picture of the initiate's character from the responses. Think of the Dragon's Den trials from Pokémon Crystal and HGSS. A possible scenario question would be something like this:
"You are the leader of a village isolated from society. One day, a foreigner comes to your village, bearing cutting-edge technology. This technology would greatly ease the lives of your people, but would also do away with their current lifestyle. How would you proceed?"
Please apply the bonus Pen for this to Josh Devlin.
raikourider - How do you feel about this revision?
Dragon Clan Initiation Once, Anyone | 1-2 people 8-15 Posts Dragon-type Pokémon are notorious for being the most difficult type of Pokémon to catch and raise.
Instructions Characters must have a full party of Pokémon level 30 or above AND at least one Dragon-type in the party to undertake this Quest. Characters must have made at least 10 posts in the Dragon's Den in Journey or Discovery form before taking on this Quest as well.
Each post must be a minimum of 200 words to qualify. At the end of each post, do a [ proll ] (no spaces), then do a Mod Call to receive a random event to react to. You must react to the random event before continuing on, and roll again at the end of each post, etc. You may finish the initiation training when your total combined dice rolls have reached 500 and you have at least 8 posts. However, if you reach 15 posts without accumulating 500 points, you fail the trial, and will have to wait at least two weeks before attempting it again.
Notes: Use of Ice-type and Fairy-type Pokémon in the challenges tends to not go well with Clan members. Using those types will encourage the clan members to make the tests harder, and require 600 points instead of 500 to pass. They may be present in your party so long as they are not used, however.
Physical trials can include battles against dragon Pokémon, obstacles designed to test the bond between trainer and Pokémon, etc. Mental trials can include difficult questions that test the ethics and leadership capabilities of the Trainer involved. These questions are generally worded as to have no right answer, but the clan should be able to paint a picture of the initiate's character from the responses. Note that a particularly heinous answer on a question or rolling a natural 1 on a physical trial can SUBTRACT up to 25 points from your total, so be careful! On the other hand, rolling a natural 100 will actually grant 125 points.
Location: Dragon's Den
Rewards (success): 250 Pen, 7 Rare Candies, one instant use of the ability to teach Draco Meteor to a compatible Dragon OR Extremespeed to a member of the Dratini line, and the permanent ability to teach both moves through normal Move Tutor training in the future.
Compensation (failure): 100 Pen and 3 Rare Candies.

@sg - I really like the prerequisites of having journeyed/discovered in the Dragon's Den before, as the Clan should be difficult to find. This works for me.
Treasure of the Earth Repeatable, Anyone | 1-2 people 5-10 post Many things can be found in the mines of Pine Town. Precious metals, gemstones, shards, and even evolutionary stones. However, deep within the earth, there's an even greater treasure. Rare amongst the rare, the stones that enable Mega Evolution. All one needs to do is grab their pickaxe and start digging. Though be careful, such treasures have a tendency to attract others.
Instructions Each post is a minimum of 150 points. At the end of each post, do a dice roll and do a mod call for an event, one the characters must respond to. Once 200 points are reached, a battle is triggered, either against an NPC tamer or a wild pokemon. This battle must take three posts per character involved. Completing this battle will finish the question.
If the quest is not finished within ten posts, they fail the quest, with the Mega Stone(s) taken from them.
Location: Pine Town
Rewards: One Mega Stone of choice.
