Ettie told him that it was fine, it was fine to let the babies tussle with Anne... but honestly, he's not sure that's a wise idea! They just came out from their eggs. Fresh! They're not yet checked whether they're good to go, or actually need any sort of treatment! Azur gritted his teeth, lamenting the fact that yes, he also doesn't have any sort of Pokeballs to capture them. If he could get them to the Pokemon Center, he would get Pokeballs for them for free. But with these two? The moment he tried to grab the Bagon, it immediately thrashed around, smacking him with his tail. Worse thing? He accidentally HEADBUTTED the blue haired nurse on his jaw!
"AGH!" that was enough for Azur to let go. He fell on his rear almost immediately. God, he never worked with any Bagons before in the nursing school, but THAT HURTS. Azur could have sworn that headbutt rattled his jaw a bit. However, with him unable to stop the Bagon, right after Anne handed over the egg to Ettie, the gutsy Bagon... Immediately strikes! But unfortunately, he was suckerpunched! The poor Bagon definitely felt that, but at the same time, its eyes shows that it's not going to be discouraged with just that, much less going down! In fury, it attempted to headbutt Anne! ...But looks like it's not the headbutting move.
The Ralts meanwhile tried to circle the huge blue Rockruff, trying to get the right spot to attack! While less hasty than its hatchmate, the Ralts is reckless. It releases a melodious cry, one that apparently "described to be mentally damaging" rather than physically. Not sure if that going to work on Anne. Azur sighed. He really dislike this. He really dislikes Pokemon fighting, but what can he do?
"I haven't even named them! They won't listen to my order like this..."
His tactic would have actually to let the Ralts do Growl then Disarming Voice. They're newly hatched, and Anne is much stronger. Obviously they're going to be outmatched! But either way, it's all too late. Azur grunted. Should he ask for Ettie's help? He looked at the younger girl, hoping that she could at least understand... But then again she was the one who agreed to this battle to begin with huh? Azur scratches his cheek before sighing even louder.
"You, Bagon!" the Bagon looked at Azur, not sure if he was the one addressed. "Your name is Gusios!" It lets out a cry of approval. Azur then looked at the Ralts. "Hey, Ralts over there!" it looked back at him. His eyes wasn't the usual calm eyes of Ralts. There's... some fire there, more than the usually calm type of his kind. "...Your name is Tristan. With that being set, I'm your trainer."
Looks like both of them affirmed to this. "...And so if you want to do Pokemon Battle, you have to listen to my order. Gusios, frontline! Tristan, support!"
Tristan seems to return to the backline begrudgingly.
Even as Azur blushed and shook his head, Ettie would giggle, a skip to her step as she teasingly smiled at him. "For being all big and muscular, you're really sweet!" She'd chirp, grinning playfully. "Big toughie, big softie, cool and cute all at once!" Ettie added in declaration; trying to hop upwards so that she could reach his hair and ruffle it back, although not being able to reach that high due to how tall Azur was. Ettie would pout (albeit, much like her previous pouts, she wasn't truly upset) at this; adding "And way too tall, at that..! How tall even are you..??"
As Azur complimented Anne for being strong and big, though... Ettie smiled brightly and nodded. "Anne's really big; she was much bigger than her siblings, when she hatched! Everyone always said she'd end up even bigger than her Mama, when she evolves; and I don't doubt it..!" She'd remark, giggling happily. "We've looked after each other a whole bunch - so I know for sure that she'd be able to look after her packmates, too..! And as they grow, they'll look after us, too..!" A family is about taking care of each other and looking after each other, in her opinion, after all..!
The mention of them doing jobs, though, made her blink for a second. Like any kid, the concept of getting a job or doing work sounded like boring adult stuff to her; so even when Azur mentioned the idea of them picking up only jobs that they were interested in, she wasn't entirely sure of it. "I dunno... Aren't jobs usually... Boring?" She'd ask with an uncertain hue; glancing towards Azur for his input, though...
... Then she'd also seem to notice something, in his expression. Initially, she was quiet - her eyes judging and searching, but... Before long, the young girl would speak up, her concern quite apparent. "... Are you okay, Azur?" She'd ask - tilting her head a little. Even if Azur was someone she only just met, he seemed like a great friend; and the last thing that she wanted was for a friend to be upset or sad..! She wanted Azur to be happy, too, like she and Anne are..!
Then, there was the fight at hand. Even though she tried to tell Azur that it was okay, he was already trying to wrangle the Bagon - the young dragon-type near immediately not appreciating being lifted up like that. Though she was mostly distracted by taking the harness off of Anne, Azur's pained shout would be enough for her attention to turn towards him, worried immediately. "Are you okay??" She'd ask, going over to check on him. She'd look Azur over, making sure that nothing seemed out of place; all the while frowning in distinct concern.
"Like I said, it'll be okay..." She'd repeat softly, adding "Babies are able to fight okay as soon as they hatch; they're just not as strong as a pokemon that's been around for awhile, is all. But they'll also only get stronger by tussling like this." Ettie explained - seeming to be surprisingly knowledgeable about rearing pokemon, for being just a kid. "Let them have their fight, Anne'll tucker them out - and trust me, she'll know if one of them gets hurt, or when it's time to stop! - and then you can do whatever you're all riled up over, okay?"
Anne, meanwhile, was already getting riled up and excited over their little playfight. Though a Rockruff's tail is already naturally large and puffy, her tail seemed to be even bigger with how the fur on it bristled every which way...! Her eyes were narrowed and keen, and her stance was almost always low to the ground, muscles ready to pounce or bolt at any moment. Some of these quirks, on top of her habit of growling all playful-like, almost made her look as though she was acting like a Poochyena or a Mightyena - like her father - as opposed to a Rockruff or Lycanroc...!
The Bagon - Gusios, as he would soon be called - wasn't about to give up after a single Sucker Punch, though. Even after being struck, the little dragon tried to keep charging in with a headbutt-like move - a Rage attack - that would strike Anne in the shoulder. The Rockruff, being a rock type, held up nicely against Gusios' Rage; only skidding backwards a tiny bit as she stood her ground against the Bagon. Between it being not very effective and from a lower level pokemon, it was safe to say that Anne had the advantage here.
Backing up a pace and hunkering down, Anne would use this close quarters to her advantage - a playful growl being the only warning that Gusios got, before she'd suddenly Tackle forwards towards him..! Regardless of whether or not the Bagon was able to dodge or not, the attack would send Anne tumbling a bit; though she'd easily roll back onto her feet...
... Just in time to be struck by a Disarming Voice attack from the Ralts - Tristan..! Unable to dodge, her head was rattled by the sound based attack; the Rockruff flinching a bit as she shook her head. It hurt a little more than the Rage did, seeing as it was both neutrally effective and a somewhat stronger move overall; but the difference in levels between her and the both of them was still quite apparent.
As Azur took control and gave the two newly hatched pokemon their names though, Anne's stance would change a bit - almost as though the canine was getting a bit more serious. Hunkering down low once more, Anne would growl - still playfully - and give Gusios and Tristan both a fierce Leer, to lower both pokemons' defenses...!
Ettie, meanwhile, would watch the fight with obvious excitement - she always enjoyed seeing Anne fight, and tended to let the Rockruff do as she pleased. That didn't mean that Ettie wouldn't give commands as necessary - if she thought something had to be done, she'd let Anne know! But she also trusted Anne deeply - deeply enough to know when the large Rockruff had it handled. Even as she watched the fight closely, though...
... The two eggs in her lap would both jolt briefly and suddenly, the sounds of cracking being audible from them...! This, of course, got Ettie's attention as well - her eyes lighting up in glee and excitement. "Azur! Azur!" She'd call to the older boy - grinning widely to him. "Look, they're already hatching, too..!"
Even in the midst of the fight, Anne's eyes couldn't help flickering in the direction of the eggs - her tail wagging some in anticipation for the hatching eggs.
"Hey, leave me alone," Azur answered huffily while trying to evade Ettie's hairtussling. But it's obvious from his tone and his demeanor that he doesn't actually minded all that much. "So what if I'm caring? I just don't feel it worth being noted like that. I'm used to kids crying at my face anyway. Plus no one really bothered to talk with me more than five minutes before assuming things about me, so eh," he shrugged.
To be honest, everyone around him slapped him predicates that he think isn't really true. In the nursing school, many think that he's a scary guy who only go to nursing school because his parents told him to, like they're generations of pokemon doctor family or something. That's wrong. There are also rumors floating around that he's a delinquent, often missing from his room or something, and come to class with scratches and wounds... that's also wrong. He simply just treating Pokemon near the campus grounds. There are seriously a lot of rumors. Not helping that his face which usually put at permanent scowl would often look as if he's fed up with world... well that can't be truer. He's fed up indeed, especially with kids from Pokemon trainer department.
...He might have scared some poor kids now that he think of it. Especially when he hurls all sort of critics regarding how they handled their Pokemon. Some nurses might shut up about it, but he know how it feel to be an idiot and unable to fix your own mistakes... So before those kids only think that they want to push Pokemons to be the strongest without caring for what they need or what they want, he'll drill it to their head... As a result, he's been called "that demonic nurse trainee from Nursing Department" though.
"How tall I am? ...189 cm, I guess."
He's indeed tall, and that gives another imposing image somehow. That's why no one has been able to say anything to him back in school if he goes mile in criticizing their actions. For someone who was born in poor family, he ended up growing quite big and tall huh? Either way, Azur looked museful for a minute.
"Jobs, boring? Well, up to what job are you talking. Jobs does not only include standing and selling wares. It also does not only include doing maths and smiling at customers. You could also do odd jobs such as cleaning Pokemons, works as assistant nurse in Pokemon Center and such. It's not necessarily boring. It'll be a new experience. Plus if you pick a boring job, it's low risk and generally low reward. If you decide to be adventurous and pick hard job with more pay, they'll generally ended up much harder, but at the same time it won't be so boring. Plus, if you decide to work with Pokemons, there won't be any dull day, at least in my opinion. Each Pokemon have their own personalities, so you can't just put them in same frame."
Well, with that being said, he hope that it'll make Ettie interested.
Is he fine? "...Yeah, why do you ask?" Azur asked back, smiling. Yet, there's something that seem to be forced under that smile. "It's OK, don't worry. I just... remembered something stupid I guess," he tried to wave it off. Yet... it feels like he's trying to reassure himself rather than Ettie. It felt... a bit too weak. Regardless, Azur once again smiled and ruffled Ettie's hair. "You don't have to worry too much about adult's worries," he joked. "Sometimes it's just early life crisis."
Does he have one? He definitely does, but even he was laughing at the corniness of what he said. Either way, after that Ettie repeated the question for an entirely different matter. Azur grunted and returned back to his standing position. "Remind me to get a pack of ice later... or a cooling pad or something," he told Ettie. "Darn, that one hits hard..." Seriously, what with Bagons and their hard shell? Does this one have any abilities that makes it more gutsy or so? Either way...
"No, that wasn't the problem. if they want to tussle, they can do it after they're properly checked up! They don't even give me time for them to be checked even at a glance... Their condition as eggs actually quite bad you know? Especially the Ralts!" he definitely only have their well being in his mind, but even so, this apparently made the Ralts even more gutsy. Hearing that he's called, with same breath as "bad condition" made him want to prove that he's fine and healthy. The Ralts expression looked even more determined than before.
With both of them leered, though... "Tristan, continue with Growl!" Azur commanded. Holding his ground firm despite being leered just now in act of intimidation, the Ralts growled, hoping to lower down his opponent's attack! With this, they're probably even! Meanwhile...
"Gusios, Rage!"
The Bagon let out an affirmative cry and this time attempted to punch Anne. There's just something in Azur that feels like he's dancing in the battlefield once again sending commands like this out. It's been... a long while. Is it fun? Part of him felt it is, yet... another one just keep gnawing on him, telling him that this is wrong, and he should stop them before they're going too much into it. They're just born! This all felt so wrong, yet the Pokemons are obviously enjoying it. They want to get stronger!
...Azur's concentration was broken by Ettie who called him out. Oh? The eggs are hatching! "Continue strategize with each other!" Azur told the two, who nodded. Meanwhile, he quickly opened his bag and took out what looked like a pokemon food. "Those two are a bit preoccupied so much that they don't want to eat yet I think. I dunno how much energy they have there, but here, try to feed your new Pokemons these. It'll help you bond with them faster... Hey you two! Don't you think you have enough?"
Both Gusios and Tristan shook their head and returned back to their fighting stance. As expected huh...
It wasn't hard to avoid any hairtussling - with Ettie being almost an entire 2 feet shorter than Azur, she probably wouldn't be able to reach the top of his head even if he simply stood still...! Eventually, after a handful of hops that - though respectable - didn't bring her anywhere near Azur's hair, Ettie would huff a bit to catch her breath and stop. "Why would kids cry at you? You seem like a good person!" She would comment, tilting her head a bit. After a moment though, she'd smile a bit - adding somewhat cheekily "And I've been talking to you for more than five minutes by now, I'm pretty sure; so I can say that now!"
Sure, Azur was big and tough - but she's known big and tough and seemingly scary people in her old gang, who were actually super nice..! What's to say that the same didn't apply to Azur, even if he was a hair more standoffish than they were?
As Azur mentioned his height, though... Ettie's eyes lit up in visible awe. "Woaaah...! You're like..." She'd pause a bit, as though processing the numbers on her head - counting with her fingers. "... Like, about 50 centimeters taller than I am, I think..!" She'd eventually conclude, giggling brightly. She'd fake a pout once more, reiterating "Still too tall, though - how am I gonna get revenge for the hair ruffling, like that??" with her hands on her hips, and her cheeks puffed.
Once more though, the false pouting would melt away, another laugh escaping her as she added "I bet I could see a whole lot, if I sat on your shoulders, though...! Would you let me sit on your shoulders sometime, Azur?" One of the older gang members used to do that for her a lot - setting her on his shoulders, so that she could see past crowds or simply feel tall. He left the gang a long time ago, though - before it even disbanded - and left the city. Briefly, she couldn't help but wonder how he was doing right now...
... Before she could get caught up in her nostalgia though, Azur would point out that while easy and safe jobs were indeed boring, tougher or more risky jobs also tended to be more exciting. In addition to this, there were even jobs that let her work with other pokemon...! This seemed to catch Ettie's curiosity, her eyes lighting up a bit. "I dunno if I could be a nurse; seeing people hurt and whatnot makes me sad, even if I'd be making them feel better..." She'd admit a bit, digging the toe of her shoe into the ground.
Sure, making someone feel better would probably help Ettie feel less sad - but the fact that they got hurt in the first place is also what makes her feel sad in the first place..! "... But working with Pokemon doesn't sound so bad...! What kind of jobs are you going to do, Azur?" Ettie added and questioned, smiling widely up to the older boy. With him being so strong, she wouldn't be surprised if he did something that involved a lot of heavy lifting or moving things around... Though, maybe he's a babysitter instead? He does have those eggs that he's raising...
Even as Azur tried to reassure Ettie that he was alright, though... The young girl seemed unconvinced - her brows furrowing a bit, even after her hair was ruffled. "But I want to worry for you, Azur," She'd respond surprisingly firmly. "It makes me sad if something's got you sad - I want to help you feel better..! It wouldn't feel good at all, if somethings bothering you and I didn't at least try to help out in some way...!" Was Azur even an adult? Though he was big and tough, he still had a somewhat youthful look to him; though she wasn't going to question that too hard.
As Azur explained why he was worried, though... Ettie would frown a bit. She guessed that made sense, why he was so worried - if an egg wasn't healthy, then there might be something wrong with the baby inside too..! But, even with Azur's concerns... "... Mm... Well... I trust Anne..!" Ettie mentioned, adding "If she notices anything off or wrong with either of them, I'm sure she'll stop the fight right away! She notices lots of things that I don't always notice, after all...!"
She'd emphasize this with a pat on the small of Azur's back - as though to try and reassure the larger trainer. "I think they'd end up trying to play-fight with you, if you tried to stop them now, anyways..." She'd add in comment, scratching her cheek as she looked to the ensuing fight. "They're really rambunctious..!"
As Gusios came in with a Rage though, Anne would once more tank the hit - using the close proximity that the two had, to once more follow up with another move...! This time, it was a Sand Attack; the Rockruff turning around, and digging her hind claws into the ground - both for the traction to bolt away from Gusios, and to kick up dirt into the Bagon's face as she put some space between them...!
Wheeling around, she'd gaze towards the Ralts, Tristan. She had overheard what Azur said - about his worries regarding the small Psychic-type - and would circle around past him, to try and look the Ralts over and see if there was anything outwardly wrong with him; though she disguised the movement as her trying to look for a weak spot in the duo's guard. It'd be no good to fight this Ralts if there was something seriously wrong with him, after all...!
Meanwhile, the Electrike and Snubbull eggs were both hatching. Ettie would smile brightly and chirp a giddy "Thank you...!" as she accepted the food, smiling in anticipation to her two newest little sisters.
The eggs would shift back and forth, the shells would crack and spiderweb... Though it seemed that the Electrike egg would be the first of the two to hatch...! A blue and yellow nose would shove its way straight through the shell - and before long, the head, and then the rest of the body followed; it was almost as though the little electric type within just couldn't wait to hatch...! Before long, a large Electrike - blue and yellow, as opposed to their usual green and yellow, interestingly enough - would be perched halfway onto Ettie's lap, shaking off any stray bits of shell.
Ettie, immediately, was endeared. "Awww...! Lookit you...!" She'd coo; immediately reaching up to scratch the canine behind the ear, and offering the Electrike some of the food in her hand. "Your pretty blue fur matches Anne...!" The pup, likely having worked up an appetite breaking out of the egg, would happily accept the offer - chowing down straight away...! The Snubbull egg, meanwhile, would still be hatching slowly but surely; seemingly taking a bit longer than her sister did to hatch, even if they started at the same time.
"Well kids tends to not appreciate what they don't quite know and find intimidating. Imagine someone with resting bitchface just staring at you... and when he concentrate, his frown gets deeper and deeper..." Azur tried to concentrate as if Ettie is hurt somewhere... and the result is, as expected, a rather intimidating face that looked like he's angry inside.
"...See? Do you get my point now? When i looked at the mirror I can guess why they're crying already. It's sort of something I decidedly ignore at this point. So rather than trying hard to fix that image, in the end I just let them be. I ended up not caring anymore and just... well, roll with it. I used to be much more... normal though." ...If he can say he's cute, then he's probably cute. How to say... he guess he's the type that grows up ugly rather growing up friendlier? Eh, well, those kinds exists.
"Good enough I guess, but I'd rather you drop the "cute" part, considering I'm not cute the slightest. I don't know where you get that sort of image, but I'm really not. In fact, I think I have heard people grumbling that I wasn't 'a cute kid at all'."
How to get revenge for the hair tussling? Azur just grinned wryly. "How about growing up? Eat a lot of good and nutritious food, you'll get taller eventually. Although I think it's fine too if you're compact like this. You could do a lot of thing I can't do after all. Like... let's say... nimbly evading someone? That going to be easier with smaller frame like yours."
Hmmm, sit on his shoulders? "...Wanna try?" Azur asked. If she assented to it, Azur would lift her up. It might be a bit heavier because Ettie is not exactly a little kid, but even so, he's pretty sure that he's fine with her being up high like this. "How does it feels being up high? Can you see more?" he asked. Speaking of which, he immediately pulled a cap out of his bag and wear it. No hair tussling revenge now. He's not going to let his guard down!
Being nurse is not her calling huh. "That's fine. I understand you can get a bit squeamish and sometimes there are people who can feel empathetic link of pain... So nursing is not for everyone. However, sometimes you just have to do it, you know? Pokemons cannot use human made items after all. So they can't spray potions on themselves. We humans meanwhile can do it, so we have to do it. Either way, that aside...
For me, I'm going to just work part time in Pokemon Center." Azur pulled out a nursing license. "I'm a nurse after all. I'm planning to just travel around, seeing if there is any Pokemon that need to be healed, or if there is any pokemon colony that is in need for any helping hand. That's my goal. Whenever I goes to any city, I figured out it'll be better to work part time in Pokemon Center for a week or so."
Hmmm, bleeding heart, isn't she? "...I can't tell you that right now... or more like..." Azur hesitated for a bit. He scratched his head as he tried to form his sentence. "...it's a heavy talk I'm not sure I want to share with someone I just met an hour ago or so, alright? Let's just say... I was ill prepared, and I have to pay for it, even until now... I don't want you to repeat that, alright? In case I'm not there, and injury happened, I want you to be prepared with enough healing items."
A nurse can heal Pokemons after all. He was not an exception. He got some healing items ready, even if it's not as potent as one sold in the markets, but at the very least it'll help them enough. Anyway, trusting Anne is good. Anne felt like the more sensible of the duo. He can feel her knowing what to do, but at the same time... He don't trust the other two to not fight too much. After all, Gusios only knows Rage it seems, and Tristan... Well, Tristan is even more stubborn fighter than Gusios. The moment Gusios was blinded by Sand Attack, he was kicked. the Pokemon cried, then tried to shake off the stinging pain of dirt on his eyes. In panic, he's using rage again, but it definitely missed its intended target. He pulled that out too hastily after all! Meanwhile, Tristan the Ralts eyed Anne closely. While most Ralts have problem with their trailing end, Tristan opted to grab the "hem" of his "dress" and tied it up. It wouldn't increase his speed, but at the very least he won't get tripped on it.
Letting out a battlecry, the Pokemon assumed a more active fighting pose. It somehow reminds Azur of a Gallade rather than Gardevoir.
With the order to do whatever he want given, Tristan opted to use another Disarming Voice, sending a cry that now both filled with determination and desire to win! The man did not think he could do it? The man think that he's weak because he's tiny? Well, darn, best prove to him that he's wrong then! That's what the Ralts is thinking at least. Meanwhile, Azur, ready to check the condition of the first hatching egg... found himself ina funny situation. The first to came out is a snout. It reminds him of the challenge back home where you make a V sign with your index finger and thumb, then let your canine Pokemon put their snout there.
"Pfuh..." Azur chuckled. He can't help but to gently boop the Pokemon's snout too! Come to think of it, this one is Electrike, huh... oh, it's shiny too! "...You sure got a lot of shiny Pokemons now that I think of it," Azur commented. "I wonder if this one is shiny too.. but first and foremost, can I check on them? To make sure they're fine, and to determine their gender, you see," Azur tried to explain.

As Azur offered to lift Ettie up, the young girl's eyes lit up, as she nodded eagerly. "Yeah! Yeah!!" She'd giggle happily as she was lifted up - her small size and lightweight frame at least making things a bit easier - and perched up onto Azur's shoulders. She'd carefully place her hands on Azur's head for balance - though was quick to find out that the young man had put on a cap, so as to avoid any revenge ruffling...! Already, she was plotting how to get around Azur's cap - though for a brief moment, was more focused on Azur's own question.
"It feels great!" She'd chirp, in response to his question - grinning widely. "I can see all around..." Pausing briefly, she'd reach a hand up to rustle some leaves on a tree planted outside one of the buildings they passed. "... and I can reach all around, too..!" However, it'd take more than a cap and some pretty trees to stop Ettie's mischief. A sly and cheeky grin would spread across her face as she eyed Azur's cap - even as she pretended to be preoccupied with her surroundings - and gradually, she'd reach down with a hand....
... And proceed to yoink Azur's cap right off his head! "Ehehehe! It's miiiiiine now~!" She'd declare playfully and in sing-song, putting Azur's cap on her own head so that she could reach down and ruffle the young man's hair with both hands! All the while, she'd be laughing and snickering like a child who got away with stealing from the cookie jar; absolutely delighted with herself for having had such a master plan...!
Sure, maybe the cap was a little big on her - but now she'd like to see him try to ruffle her hair while she's in this advantageous spot..!
As Azur explained how he was a nurse, though... Ettie would make a soft and curious "Oooh..." at that; listening as he explained how he planned to work part-time at a Pokecenter for a bit, to help as a nurse. Ettie, frankly, was quite curious over this; for she never thought Azur to be a nurse...! Regardless of this though, Ettie smiled brightly, and would take it all at face value - smiling and nodding. "Alright!" She'd chirp in acknowledgement; accepting the fact quite easily.
As Azur tried his best to explain his worries to Ettie though, without outright telling her what went on... Ettie's expression would become somber, and understanding. She'd quietly nod a bit, glancing towards her bag, and mentioned "I... do have a couple of potions, in my bag." in a soft tone. "I dunno if it'd be enough, in your opinion, but... This way I have something that I can heal Anne and the others with, if they get hurt, at least...!"
Meanwhile, there was Anne and her fight. She winced a little in sympathy at the pained cry Gusios made from the dirt in his eyes - Sand Attack wasn't pleasant, even if it didn't do any harm - as she watched him blindly Rage at nothing. However, she would have to focus more on Tristan; the Ralts seeming quite keen on continuing to fight as front and center as he could, even after Azur's worries and him having been told to take up a support role.

As the Disarming Voice came in, Anne would be unable to dodge; flinching a bit as her head was rattled once more by the attack. As much as Gusios' eagerness to fight was admirable, Tristan was the bigger threat of the two - if she were to call either of them a threat at all, at least. Their attacks didn't hurt too much, and Anne was purposefully pulling her punches on the both of them - to avoid hurting them too badly. She just wanted them to tucker themselves out, so that she could attend to her new little sisters..!
Still, she'd skid to a stop in her circling about - her claws digging into the ground, as she set her eyes on Tristan. She'd hunker down low, letting out a playful growl, before darting forwards at the Ralts in an easily-telegraphed Tackle..! Even if the telegraphing wasn't enough for Tristan to dodge though, he might find that the attack was less a tackle, and more of a shouldercheck; Anne being careful to try and gauge how much would be just right for the small Ralts. Last thing she wanted, was for it to turn out that something was off with Tristan, and for him to end up badly hurt cause of it.
All the while though, there was the two eggs that were hatching. As Azur booped the Electrike's snoot as she was hatching, the pup would yip in response - the rest of the head shoving out of the shell just to see who had booped her...! And once the head was out, well... She clearly wanted to meet the mysterious booper, for the rest of her body would shove right out of the egg as well...!
Once she was out and eating though, her tail would wag eagerly; clearly happy to have some food on her stomach. Azur's comment about her being shiny - the second out of two - would make Ettie blink a bit, murmuring a soft "Oh yeah, you're right..." in response. Smiling to Azur and giggling, she'd remark "I guess they are both shiny; that must make me pretty lucky..!"
Did she not even consider the possibility of the Electrike being shiny, until now...? Well, either way, Azur wanted to check up on them - to which Ettie nodded; smiling down to the Electrike. "Do you wanna go see Azur, so that he can give you a check up?" She'd ask the electric pup - to which the canine glanced up to Ettie, glanced to Azur...
... And then proceeded to leap forward in a playful pounce, tackling right towards him with an eager bark and a wildly wagging tail...! Ettie would let out a startled laugh at this, making a bark of her own and clapping her hands together in delight. "Awwww, they like you! Arf arf!" She cooed; happy that the Electrike warmed up to Azur near-instantly. "Play nice, okay puppy?"
Hello friend, the Electrike's demeanor seemed to say - the large puppy eagerly licking Azur's face all the while. Were you the one who booped me? You sure smell like the one who booped me! You're big and blue like I am, and like that other pokemon is, too!
Meanwhile, the Snubbull egg was still slowly hatching. For a moment, Ettie couldn't help but be a bit concerned - wondering if there was anything wrong, with the puppy within. The Electrike hatched so quickly, so why wasn't the Snubbull egg hatched by now, too? Making a soft and worried noise like a whine in her throat, she'd rub the side of the egg encouragingly, murmuring "C'mon, puppy; you can do it...!"
Before long though, the shell would - thankfully - crack open; revealing the pokemon inside.
Much like the Electrike, the Snubbull within was female, and also larger than the normal fare. However, this canine was also a lot less active; being quite sleepy, in fact...! As soon as the top half of the egg was broken away, she'd look around herself - her expression reading 'Huhm, so this is what I hatched to?' - before yawning, and curling up in the remaining bottom half of the egg like it was a cradle. Ettie would tilt her head a bit quizzically, but didn't question it - instead giggling softly in relief, gently and calmly petting the Snubbull's head.

Ha, did she thought that she could immediately ruffle his head? Girl was wrong, dead wrong! Azur chuckled under his breath. Well, he know that his hat going to be stolen soon anyway, so he secured the visor by holding it down. Sometimes, he wonder how it feel to have eye level of other person... well, he have experienced being around Ettie's height, but he obviously does not remember all that much about it. Alternatively, with her being on his shoulders, obviously she's far exceeding his height... But eh... Azur just chuckled and walked more. Well, that is until the girl somehow managed to yank the cap off him! He have no idea how that happened, but he guess it's because she have more leverage from the higher ground. Azur laughed as she ruffled his hair.
"Dang, girl! You seriously have quite the fast finger, huh!" Azur commented, chuckling in amusement. "Man, gotta make sure to apply hair gel next time so you won't ruffle it. Naaasty." Then again, Azur's hair is naturally shaped like that. it's held up by his headband, sure, but even so, he don't need any hair gel to make shaped like how it is now. Right after Ettie done ruffling, he simply fixed it back by combing it with his hand. "Well, as punishment of ruffling my hair..." Azur crouched and put the girl down. "Back to shortfest you go," and proceeded to ruffle her hair again. "Though admittedly that was fun too to lift you up high like that. I never did that to anyone, to be honest, being a single child and no cousins or sort... not those that I know anyway. I might have some, but then again my father never talked about any extended family if we got any."
As expected, him being a nurse is a bit of a surprise, eh? "I was a trainer, but I decided to be a nurse. A profession change like this isn't something that's rare. It's like when someone tried to do what they first confident in, but in the way, they found out a new calling, and then changed to that calling. It's the same with me. Being a trainer is fun and all. Journeying is fun... but then I noticed that I don't really enjoy Pokemon battling. I get too competitive. In the end, I decided there's no need to become a trainer just because I want to travel along. I could be a nurse and travel along, healing many Pokemons and trainers... and there's the benefit of criticizing bad trainers on their face, heh!"
Numbers of Potions eh. "Just be aware that one potion is for one Pokemon. Make sure to stock some poison heal, burn heal, ice heal and paralyze heal. I think those four are necessary if you're travelling solo. Other than that... well, if they're too expensive, just stock some berries. I think they're cheaper ?"
That aside, Azur just smiled and ruffled Ettie's hair again. "Well, if I'm around though I'll make sure to patch everyone up quickly!"
Tristan frankly have a better opinion on Anne and Ettie than Azur. In his opinion, his trainer is needlessly naggy. He's fine, he's fine and although Anne not taking him that seriously, at least she didn't worry too much than necessary about him. That's why he's working hard, working hard to prove that he's not a burden, not a weak thing that must be protected. When Anne's tackle come, Tristan rather than dodge crossed his arm, tanking the hit! It launched him several feet away, but the Ralts instead... Grinned?
From Anne's behind, Gusios returned to the fray. While his eyes still hurting, Gusios returned to use Rage again. At this moment, Tristan released disarming voice, trying to do a pincer attack with his hatch mate. Azur wondered if two of them has came into some sort of understanding, in a way... Either way, he got something interesting on his hand! Why, the Electrike yipped and suddenly just like that pops all of their head out! it's like seeing a dog hyperactively passed through a sheet of paper just because you booped its nose! Azur can't help but to giggle.
"Well, hello there, friend. You're cute."
It didn't take long for the Electrike to just tackle him! Azur laughed in glee as the hyperactive dog Pokemon licked him all over! This pup sure likes him! And he doesn't mind obviously! This is just so endearing! After rubbing the Electrike playfully and make sure that they're good to calm down some, Azur begin his little check.
"First, let's see... mmm..." Azur checked the pup's eyes. It's not bloodshot, it's not murky and seem to be clear. "Vision, clear." he checked a box on a piece of paper that looked like a basic examination. He lifted the lil pup a bit. "For her size, she's healthy, probably need food soon heh~ Oh yes, this one is female, I forgot to say. Can you please open your mouth?" After examining the mouth, Azur nodded in approval "...Mouth check, clear. She already got good set of teeth, so she can immediately eat solid. But I suggest to give her semi solid first, something soft, like probably shredded soft meat or something." Azur continued his examination and patted the Electrike gently all over. "Her posture is solid, there's no deformation anywhere.. As far as I can tell, she's healthy. Just give her a proper immunization later, and she's all set, I think!"
Oh, but as an aside... Azur offered his hand to the Electrike. "Well, there's one more thing I'm curious with, actually. Do you mind softly biting my hand? Give me a lil bit of a jolt afterward. Oh, and Ettie? This is a standard fare, so you don't have to worry, alright?"
Does that sounds strange? It's basically one of the fastest way of checking whether a Pokemon is weak attack wise or not. Azur just want to make sure that this Electrike's lightning generating organ are working properly, just so that he could make sure that she need any boost or not. Imbalance in current within the Pokemon's lighting generating organ could lead to a low energy Pokemon after all.
"Fastest fingers around!" Ettie agreed with a laugh, as she ruffled and combed her fingers through Azur's hair. "Not even hair gel can stop me, eheheheheheeee~!" She didn't care what might happen from here - she was just pleased that she was able to get her revenge on Azur, by ruffling his hair back...! She'd squeak briefly as Azur lifted her back up, to set her on the ground - but it would only turn into more giggling as he reached down to ruffle at her hair, through the cap. She couldn't even be pouty about it - she already outsmarted and got her revenge on Azur once, after all.
Instead, she'd simply giggle and run out of reach of his fingers, going back to walking speed once she was out of arms reach as she grinned back at Azur. "Friends can be like family, right?" She'd question to Azur - smiling widely. "My friends were like family to me - and my pokemon are like family to me... So what's stopping you from looking to your friends and pokemon, for family?"
It sounded as though Azur wasn't one who was big on Pokemon battling - tending to get too competitive... Was it because he gets carried away, Ettie wondered? Either way, she'd nod a bit in understanding. "Wanting to help lots of humans and pokemon alike sounds really nice!" She'd comment, giggling a bit. "And I appreciate it lots and lots, that you're willing to help patch me and my pokemon up, too!"
Though.... A curious expression crossed over her face, as she tilted her head a bit; a question suddenly occurring to her.
"... Have you ever done contests before, Azur?" Ettie asked thoughtfully, though unable to help giggling once more as her hair was ruffled yet again; dancing away from Azur's fingers. "I dunno if I'm interested in contests or not, but maybe you could give them a try? They seem like they're fun for people who don't really like battles! And it still lets your pokemon get out and do stuff!" She'd suggest, a skip to her step as she mused out loud "I don't mind battling for fun, personally - it's just like play wrestling, in the end! - though I don't think I'd like more serious battles, like with big wild pokemon."
Even all that being said, though... She totally could do a contest here, couldn't she? Or maybe even a gym battle, if her pokemon got big and strong enough...! She'd just need to put her team together, and have them all be in tip top shape for it...! But nah; right now? She was just focused on getting a nice team of canines going; so that they'd have a wonderful pack to call their own. Gyms and contests could be fun, but they weren't the priority, in Ettie's opinion.
As Tristan was launched by Anne's tackle, the Rockruff would come to a stop - watching the Ralts, to make sure that everything was okay. Briefly, she was worried that she might've hit too hard, with how far Tristan ended up being flung - though when the Ralts grinned in her direction, those worries would be abated; the stone canine grinning back.
Tristan and Gusios both appeared healthy, even if Tristan was small for his species - and though she would still take it easy to be fair on them, she didn't feel as though she had to take it as easy as she had been. They were both plenty capable of fighting just as she was; they just needed to get some practice in, so that they could get a feel for their moves, and get big and strong...!
Anne, initially, was ready to follow up on the tackle she struck Tristan with; though her ears would twitch backwards, as she heard Gusios creeping up behind her. Attacking from two different angles, huh...? Anne wasn't sure if they purposefully coordinated this, or if this was a thing of circumstance - but she couldn't help but note that they were plenty clever too, for having just hatched...!
Much like before - when Gusios first attacked her - Anne would growl and intercept Gusios' Rage attack with a Sucker Punch. If the attack landed, it would hurt a little more than the first Sucker Punch; between Anne taking it less easy on him, as well as the Leer she had hit them both with before. The Rage attack was starting to hurt, though - Gusios' strength surely rising with each attack he was struck with, given that Rage was the only move he knew. Tristan's Disarming Voice was getting troublesome, too; given that Anne couldn't exactly dodge it, as it rattled about in her head.
These two hatchlings were putting up a good fight, and Anne was starting to feel the beginnings of her tiring out from all of this. It was probably time for her to wrap this fight up, she decided, as she leaped back from the two of them a short distance, and once more Leered at them, to soften them up in preparation.
The Electrike, meanwhile, would be surprisingly well behaved - or, at least, as well behaved as a hyperactive canine could be - as Azur did his examination. She was somewhat fidgety - clearly full of energy to play and wrestle a little - but she still wanted to be a good girl, too! So, she was trying her best to hold still and cooperate with Azur as he handled her; resisting every urge to play-nip or wrestle, though she couldn't help a whine in anticipation - as if to ask 'Can I play yeeeeet?'
Ettie couldn't help but giggle a little; smiling brightly. So the Electrike was a girl, huh? That meant that she needed a name soon; though what name exactly, the young girl wasn't immediately sure of. It was gonna take time, to figure out the perfect name for her new pups, she was pretty sure...!
But then, Azur would offer his hand to the Electrike - asking for a gentle bite and jolt. Ettie, understandably, was a bit concerned and confused - that seemed like it'd hurt, after all...! - though would nod and remain quiet, trusting in Azur. The Electrike, too, was a little unsure - but if this meant that she could go and play right after, then well...
Gently, the electric pup would press her teeth against the skin of Azur's hand - being careful to not pinch or break the skin. Once in place, she'd allow a bit of electricity to run through her veins - it coming easily to her, as an electric type... Perhaps a bit too easily, in fact. Because before anyone knew it, the newly hatched Electrike was accidentally using her Thunder Fang for the first time...!

Fastest finger around huh? Azur just chuckled at that comment. "That's such a tall proclamation!" he retorted "Though if it's around five meters I guess you're right," he added with a lil teasing tone. Still, the way she ruffled with his hair sort of ended up being rather... endearing to him? It feels like having a little sister. He's not good with people of his age, but he guess Ettie isn't bad at all. She's great. She's a nice girl. A bit cheeky and hyperactive, also tend to be too trusting... but she's great. There's something about her that made him able to drop his guard around her.
"...Hmmm, I guess they can. I just don't have friend that close to be called a family before. Granted, I have Pokemons that I can call family. For example, the Corviknight of my father. Muninn. He's very huge, and tends to sing a lot whenever he carries passenger. I think it's his way of enjoying his job. At home, he tends to get visited a lot by some neighborhood kids because his friendly demeanor. I guess he's very friendly to kids. There were times where he pretended to be a dragon for their knight make-believe. It was funny."
The appreciation made Azur smile. "Well, it's just my job... and my oath I guess. It's an old fashioned thing. Nowadays, nurses doesn't have to offer their oath to do services to the mass and Pokemon, but as for me... I made an oath. 'Always stays true, always stays pure and righteous'. I will not abandon any hurt Pokemon in front of me. I will not stay my tongue if I saw someone mistreating their Pokemon... that's the way I roll. I...have someone who taught me that important lesson, you see? ...He's no longer here, though."
Contests huh... "...Yeah, contest are much more appealing than a direct battling in my opinion. Or at least to me. However, how to say..." Azur blushed and glanced sideway "...I have to dress up too, don't I? I'm... bad at those you know... I just don't feel like... it'll be any good if I'm there with my own clothes and commanding them. I feel like I'll be docking points just by being there.. heh. Plus what sort of categories should I be participating in anyway?"
Hmmm, battling huh... "...Honestly, whenever I go, it's pretty similar. Someone resting on the side, then when you approached they suddenly approached you and asked for a Pokemon battle. In a sense, it's a friendly match, but... There has been events where they approach you in less than friendly way just to prove their ego. In a sense, I enjoy fighting against non-trainer Pokemon more because human ego tend to not get mixed in it. Granted, that sounded rather misanthropic, huh? But that's what I felt after I become a nursing student. Some Pokemon approaches humans because they sensed potential with them, or wanting to hone their abilities. They want to get stronger... and that sort of pure reasoning is the reason why I'm fine with that."
The double attack is working! However, as for Gusios, he pretty much already expecting the sucker punch! He got that one already after all! The moment it came, Gusios grabbed her. It still dealt some damage, sure, but at least it's less than what Anne expected. With a brave roar, the dragon attempted to hit her again with Rage! Meanwhile, Tristan, knowing he have better chance of hitting Anne than Gusios, followed the attack with another disarming voice!
While the battle raged on (hyperbole), Azur noted that both babies are starting to get quite tired. They're breathing heavily. They haven't ate, they haven't drink yet after they came out from their eggs. They're pretty much... starting to get tired. The excess energy from hatching ended up being used for this battle. They only know one or two moves, and the monotony started to catch up with them. Just a little bit more and they'll probably get tuckered up.
For the meantime, Azur focused at the Electrike. "Fidgety aren't you?" Azur commented in amusement, booping the little canine's nose yet again. She's very cute, seriously! He really like this doggo. "It's alright, just a bit more, kay? You're a good girl you know that? I'll just make sure that you got enough energy before you play, kay?"
The whining just made Azur cooed in understanding. "Yeah, I know. I know you want to play. I know you want to greet the other. Just a little bit more, alright?" Azur gently rubs the sides of the Electrike's cheek. "Who's good girl? Yep, you are~" well this aside, it was soon time for checking the electric power of the Pokemon... which turned out to be a bit of a disaster! Azur was shocked by what sounded like a fullblown move, a thunder fang! The nurse was silent the entire time he was shocked, but... he quickly fell backward, hair all frizzled and let out a smog from his mouth.
"...Powerful."
Did he got both electrocuted and flinched at the same time? Thankfully, it didn't take that long for him to return to normal again. After rubbing the Electrike to reassure her that he's fine, Azur laid out his finding. "Right, so... *cough*... She's fine, she's healthy, she can play, but before she play, I suggest to give her a little amount of food, just to make sure she got energy to play wrestle and such... now, time to... check the Snubbull there. Hello, young one. Do you mind if I check you now?" Azur asked the Snubbull.
...She's definitely a sleepy one, this one. He wonder if it's because her personality, or is she tired from breaking out the shell? A quick pulse check would answer that he guess. Azur readied the stethoscope and timer just in case. "Would you like to stay there or would you like to be on my lap?" he asked the Snubbull. Snubbulls are apparently very well known for being affectionate and kind apparently... But this one... looked like a prissy princess for some reason. Is it just him?

The talk about the family Corviknight - Muninn - would make Ettie's eyes light up curiously. "Corviknights are so big..." She'd comment idly, smiling brightly to Azur. "I bet even a small Corviknight could carry me everywhere...! I know I said I want a big pack, but... I do like Corviknights and Murkrows, too." She'd mention, giggling a bit. Any corvid pokemon, really, was nice - though she had a particular fondness for Murkrows, Honchkrows, and Corviknights. "And I don't think there's any puppies out there that can fly, so maybe if I get a big enough crow friend, they can help us fly wherever we like..!"
As Azur asked about contests though, and whether he'd have to dress up... Ettie would giggle a bit while almost sheepishly scratching her cheek. "I mean... You won't get good if you don't try, right?" She'd question - all the whilst pondering just what sort of categories Azur should go for... After a few long moments of humming and thinking to herself, she'd eventually glance back to Azur with a one-shouldered shrug, remarking "I dunno if there's any one specific category you should do - maybe cool or tough, or maybe even clever, if you want something you can match? Though... Maybe you could see what sort of stuff your pokemon likes, too...!"
If both trainer and pokemon can agree on a category they like, then surely they'll be able to shine at it, too...! "I wonder what sort of contest categories I could do with Anne and any other pokemon I meet, if I ever entered one..." Ettie wondered out loud, pondering the moves that the little Rockruff knew. She wasn't sure what categories a given move worked for, so it'd probably end up being a lot of trial and error for the duo...!
And then there was the explanation, as to why Azur wasn't all that big on fights. How though while good trainers who are fun and down for friendly matches existed, there were also trainers who only wanted to stroke their ego. Wild pokemon, on the other hand, typically did it because they believed a trainer has potential, or because they want to get stronger. Ettie, however, quirked her lips a bit - questioning "Can't a pokemon do it out of ego, too, though...?" with a slight tilt of her head. "They're just as varied as we are, after all..."
Anne, though, was looking to end the fight soon. The damage from Gusios' gradually strengthening Rage and Tristan's sure-fire Disarming Voice both were starting to rack up, and the two hatchlings appeared to be getting tired as well. If she had to make a guess, then perhaps one or two more exchanges would be enough to get these two to finally calm down, and let Azur look at them.
With this in mind, the Rockruff would dart in at Gusios once more. Another sucker punch - this time in the form of a jump-kick with her hind legs, seeing as she lacked the fists with which to punch - would come the Bagon's way. Was it predictable? Perhaps, but it was also reliable, with how Gusios' only move was an attacking move, and how Sucker Punch was comparatively stronger than her Tackle attack.
Post by Ettie Carnall on Apr 27, 2020 21:11:51 GMT
Next, using the kick to quickly change directions and build inertia in Tristan's direction, Anne would launch herself towards the Ralts in a follow up Tackle...! Would either of the two hatchlings be able to stand up to her even after a one-two punch like this?
The second nose boop would prompt an eager yip from the Electrike in response; her tail wagging as she briefly fidgeted even harder, at the building excitement, before settling back down the best she could upon being called a good girl. She wanted to be a good girl! She liked getting praise like this! She would do her best to be the goodest girl! This excitement, however, would only heighten as Azur teased and cooed at her - who was the good girl? She wanted to know that! Who was it???
.. What? SHE'S THE GOOD GIRL?! SHE CAN'T BELIEVE IT...!
She'd bark excitedly in response, wiggling and half-bouncing in place, her tail wagging wildly. Oh dear; perhaps cooing over her like this wasn't the best way to get her to hold still...!
Regardless though, soon Azur would come to check on her electricity, and well... The results would be quite shocking, to say the least...! Ettie and the Electrike both would be briefly worried over Azur as he fell backwards, though the petting seemed to abate the electric pup's worries enough; her tail slowly wagging, as if she was uncertain whether to be happy over the attention or worried over Azur right now.
Ettie, too, would nod in understanding to Azur's conclusion over the Electrike pup's health - which is to say, that she had a clean bill of health! "Yep! Already fed her a little bit of the food you gave me, before you gave her the check-up..!" Ettie mentioned - glancing down at the food that remained in her hand. Maybe she should see if the sleepy Snubbull in her lap was willing to eat...?
The Electrike seemed curious about her hatchmate as well; briefly sniffing the Snubbull, and examining her. The Snubbull would crack an eye open briefly, a hint of recognition crossing her features - did she recognize that this Electrike was her hatchmate? - before patting her on the head, and dozing back off, yawning widely. The Electrike would pause a bit - as if needing a second to process the pat - before making a soft and happy yip...!
Well, first things first, was the Snubbull's checkup. As Azur greeted the Snubbull, she would crack an eye open at him. What is it now, human; couldn't he see that she was sleeping...? What, so he wanted to check her...? ... Fiiiine... Grumbling a bit, the Snubbull would huff and slowly - quite lazily, in fact - climb out of the remainder of her egg that she had been using as a cradle. She would lumber in Azur's direction, before hopping up onto his lap, and flopping backwards against his torso - as if to use him as her new sleeping spot.
Make it fast, she wanted to say; though the human was unlikely to understand her, seeing as she was a pokemon.
"Oh, they're big alright," Azur agreed. "They could lift a taxi just fine, and that's on top of their own rider! I have no idea how can they do that, but that's just a proof of how strong they are. I really want one myself honestly, heh heh. Murkrows aren't bad either in my opinion. I think their witch-like hat are their charming point! On top of that, their broom like tailfeathers! Still I have no idea why they become a mafia boss though," Azur joked, referring to Honchkrow's "Big Boss Pokemon" title. For a moment, he stopped on his track. "...Hey, actually if you have Honchkrow that'd be ironic, won't it," he commented.
Won't get good if he don't try... Well, she's not wrong, but at the same time... "...Yeah, I know, but I'm not sure if I want to do it per se... Look, it's... not something that I can easily jump to, alright? Albeit I must admit I will do it sooner than doing any Gym Battling... Gym Battling is a thing of the past for me. Contest meanwhile is more fresh, but still...! Dressing up sounds like a massive pain!"
Hmmm... "Cool, Tough or Clever, huh..." Azur repeated. He took out his glasses from his bag, took off his head band and combed his hair for a bit until he looked less tough and more how he looked in his pokemon nurse academy time. He also put on a white coat for medical purpose, then looked back at Ettie. "...Looks smart enough for ya?" he asked.
It was too silly though, so Azur returned everything back to his bag after folding them neatly. Hmmm... as for Ettie... "I think you can appeal a lot of points in cute category, or cool category in case of Anne... i think you could try in Smart too. Speaking of which, after we get in Pokemon Center, I want you to clean up yourself, alright, young lady? That and I'll get you new clothes"
On talk about Pokemon's ego, Azur shook his head. "I don't mind it that way... How to say... If you're fighting and you're the one doing the fighting, having ego is given. Boxers, for example, understandably have huge ego because they're the one doing the fighting, but at times... Some people just fighting for bullying the weak to make them feel good rather than actually fighting to get stronger. I have no idea if some Pokemon could do that, but... I digress... There might be some like that, but I think it's just matter because I have no idea, while when it comes to human I have idea that's why."
Gusios and Tristan understood. They're having a problem here. They want to at least bring down Anne so that they could get approval from Azur. In Tristan's case, he just want to prove that his trainer is wrong. But at the same time, their low leveled body cannot handle more punishment. Gusios might be tanky, but those sucker punches are getting too hard for him to fight against...
