Breaking News!

We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you an emergency report. At approximately 00:37, reports began coming in of strange activity in the vicinity of Arciel's Golden Tree in the Sequoia Forest. While we are still awaiting confirmation, we believe an Ultra Wormhole may have opened above the tree.

What we do know for certain is that much of the light has faded from the tree, which now bears black streaked markings never before seen, and that a number of large figures were reported flying through the night sky in the area. While we are fortunate that this pales in comparison to the number of beasts in the attack six years ago, these figures may very will still be Ultra Beasts and should be avoided if at all possible. Use extreme caution when traveling in the days to come until these reports can be confirmed or debunked.

Welcome to the 3 o' clock news. We're back, continuing the ongoing coverage of the anomaly spotted early this morning. Several amateur photos have come in from areas around East Arciel of mysterious shapes in the sky, but none clearer than this photo taken over cycling road at approximately 4am this morning. Though small, the photo is clear enough to say this could be none other than the jellyfish UB seen en masse six years ago. Scientists call it Nihilego or UB: Parasite. It is said to be able to take control of a host through direct contact, making it extremely dangerous even among Ultra Beasts. If you see any creature with this appearance, avoid getting too close at all costs.

As reported in our 11am segment, we have also received several hundred reports throughout the night of people flooding emergency rooms en masse shortly after the Ultra Wormhole is said to have opened due to extreme migraines and sudden vision problems. Throughout the day, we have received ample evidence that most, if not all, of these cases occurred within those who have psychic or aura powers, and doctors suspect those who reported being neither have latent abilities they are not yet aware of. A similar phenomenon occurred six years ago, further supporting the truth of the Ultra Wormhole. Those with these relatively rare brain mutations are sensitive to such anomalies, and Aura users especially have been reporting massive fluctuations in the ambient aura in Eastern Arciel. Fortunately, these fluctuations have decreased greatly throughout the day and the majority of those admitted into emergency care have now been discharged. However, if you or anyone you know has the powers of Aura Sight or Psychic Spirit Sensing, especially, keep a close eye on your surroundings or have your loved one do so. These powers may be our first warning signs when Ultra Beasts are near.

Breaking News!

Welcome to the 3pm news. It's been one week since the Ultra Wormhole opened, and so far things have remained quiet, with only scattered reports of sightings all over Arciel and a handful of very small destructive instances in rural areas.

However, today we bring you a ray of hope. Over the past few days, the Gym Leaders of Arciel have made an amazing discovery. By channeling the bonds shared with one's Pokemon through special items, an effect much like Mega Evolution can be achieved. However, unlike Mega Evolution, any Pokemon with a sufficiently strong bond with their trainer can achieve this effect! While the effect, which experts are saying may be the same as the Bond Phenomenon discussed in a few ancient Kalosian legends, does have its drawbacks, being intensely draining on the trainer for the duration of the Bond, this is certain to be a powerful tool against the Ultra Beasts if and when the time comes to face them head on.

Gym Leaders have reported that a group of nomads in West Arciel are willing to help trainers create the tools they'll need to achieve this Bond, and are encouraging trainers to seek them out if they think their bonds with their Pokemon would be sufficient to achieve the Phenomenon.
