Tell us a little about yourself. How would you describe yourself? Hi!! Um.. I'm Cricket, and I'm really into Pokemon! I love them all so much, I couldn't help but go on another new journey! I'll miss my old partners so much, but I wanted another fresh start; my old Pokemon all got released, rehomed, or are just back with friends, waiting for me to get back someday! Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? Did I mention how much I love Pokemon? I love them more than people! I want to make people and Pokemon happy, and if there's more Pokemon, people are happier, right? So, if I breed Pokemon that I get and give or sell them to people that want Pokemon like that, they'll be happy! I also used to volunteer at a local Pokemon Daycare back at home, so I know my way around a Daycare already and I love it! Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? Well, Johto's a bit overcrowded, especially in the city! So I thought I'd come here instead. There doesn't seem to be too many people here, y'know? Just some people that live here and a bunch of tourists. But, tourists are good people, sometimes! Right? I get along with everyone, but when there's too many people it's harder to really get along. What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. Oh, uh.. I'm friendly, and I'd say I'm pretty smart overall? Even though I do some really dumb stuff now and then. I've got a lot of energy, but I know how to relax, and.. oh, I do art, and I'm getting pretty good! What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! Um.. oh wow, I didn't think you'd ask me this.. Uh.. I get real anxious from time to time, and it's hard to calm down even if logically I know everything's okay. I tend to think that people don't like me most of the time, and I know I can be super clingy and annoying, but I just want to be loved! Y'know? I just feel like people don't like me. And I withdraw when I get like that and end up becoming like a hermit. What was your childhood like? How was school? I'd rather not discuss my childhood or school.. They were not great, and I have a lot of bad memories associated with them, especially the other kids.. there was lots of bullying and anxiety and bad stuff, can.. can we move to something else? How is your relationship with your family? Oh.. this is worse... um... So you know that anxiety I've got? Uh.. My mom is the cause of it, mostly. And my dad. I'm not.. close with my family. I still talk to my mom, but she tries to just treat me like a friend now that I'm not at home anymore, and that's almost worse. I'm done talking about traumatic stuff though, if that's okay? What do you like to do for fun? Oh, this one is good, I like this one! I like to spend time with Pokemon, and I like to make soaps and bath bombs, and I love doing art and doing some minor programming stuff, and I spend a lot of time online with uh. social media? Like, have you heard of Turtlr? It's this really cool blogging format, you just follow people and scroll and you can just reblog other people's stuff instead of having to post your own original things! What are your feelings on romance? That's the good stuff! I love everyone!! Not just romantically, of course, but I do love everyone! I'm really into people that are androgynous, but I also really love girls, and boys are so dumb! But they're so charming too, and it's hard to say no, isn't it? What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. I don't have any real goals yet, but I do want to get some new Pokemon as soon as possible and start breeding! I can make a bit of money doing that to keep myself fed and sheltered, and I can probably do some odd jobs, but I don't have like a concrete goal. If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? Oh! I.. do I have to choose just one? If I have to pick one, maybe Ampharos.. Or Zoroark? But I also really identify with Feraligatr, and with Pikachu, but I think another that would suit me is Lycanroc? Oh, I don't know! There's too many to choose from! Surprise me, I guess! What do Pokemon mean to you? Pokemon are literally the world to me! If it weren't for Pokemon, I wouldn't be alive! I love them more than I love food, people, breathing, living! They're so amazing and so good and I literally couldn't live without them in my life! Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? Oh! Are we done! Great! Cricket wears lots of bright colors and weird items; one day she might be in a bright orange pullover hoodie with a sun on the front paired with bright blue sweatpants, another day she might be wearing a faux fur vest with a Disney villain t-shirt and leggings. Her aesthetic seems to change day to day, but usually fluctuates somewhere in the triangle between punk, space-themed, and pale cotton-candy colors. She can also dress very formally, favoring both breezy summery dresses and the very masculine suit-and-tie type clothes. She has freckles across her face and arms, thick, poofy curly hair, and is fairly pear-shaped overall. She wears large black framed glasses and loves to wear lots of colorful makeup, but only when she's in the mood. Her scent varies from day to day, sometimes piney and musky, sometimes sickly sweet like cotton candy, and sometimes like mysterious night-blooming flowers. This variance seems to be due to how she feels about her gender, or lack thereof, that particular day. A very sharp person might be able to smell Cricket to decide the preferred pronouns of the day, but naturally she doesn't mind any pronouns any day. Gender isn't a very important concept to her overall. Aura Her aura is a very cotton-candy-swirl color, full of bright points like stars, and edged with lilac fading into charcoal. It feels sweet, like too much sugar, and like there's a darker edge somewhere far below.
