Eri Novae
Age 20 Birthday November 2nd, 1999 Gender Female Pronouns She/Her Orientation Demisexual Faction Citizen Class Breeder Rank Daycare Assistant Occupation Breeder / Fortune Teller Hometown Catallia City, Johto Current Residence Apartment in Birch | Tell us a little about yourself. How would you describe yourself? Eri's eyes sparkle as she leans towards the interview, incredibly excited to get this whole interview thing underway. "I- interviewer, am Eri Novae! Guide to the stars- and soon to be breeder, don't forget that bit!" She let out a hearty giggle, "I'm super stellar- no really- but i'm not a star- a star is a person with a lot of potential, and my mummas always said they mean a lot so I have to help them however I can!" She was getting off track, but hadn't exactly realized. The interviewer before her looked confused, and slightly freaked out. This wasn't what they expected for their 6:30 interview at all! "Saaaaay, I see a star, right? I'd do anything to make them happy and just... shimmer, so I can appease the stars above and make the stars live out really happy lives- does that make sense?" Was she talking about... people? Or actual stars? Either way the interviewer absently nodded along, they were already getting a headache. Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? Eri beams now, a giggle escaping her lips for a moment as she shifts in her seat, swinging her feet absently, "I'm glad you asked! You see, I loveee making the stars happy-" Theres a pause, and she blinked, "Oh- I said that already! Well, I do, and I found one of the best ways to make them happy is through pokemon, specifically through breeding them and creating eggs and babies they can treasure- a lady that came into my mums shop was a breeder, and everything she told me about what she did made the stars sing! Annnd since I struggle to make people happy doing what my mums do, I thought that could work so much better, and I love helping mons grow up!" Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? "My friend, actually, is why i'm interested!" The interviewer seems thankful for this very normal answer, and prompts the star-spangled girl to continue. "We both grew up together, went to the same school, they're super dazzly and shine really bright- were there for me when others weren't... it's great really, they'd started on a journey when they were able to become a trainer that I went on them with but struggled a lot on, I couldn't even beat the first gym..." Her voice trails off and she fidgits, "So I went back home and they continued their journey, we always kept in contact though! And last year I got a message from them about wanting to change it up and try their luck as a trainer in Arciel, and they invited me to come along!" Her voice picks up and the enthusiasm seems to be back, "So after consulting with my mums, and finding out how good a business opportunity Arciel could be for my soon to be breeding enterprise I came, annnd here I am!" What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. Eri seems to be lost in her own head for a moment, piecing together how to answer this properly, and when prompted by the interviewer idly mutters, "I'm not a star, so really I don't think about this a lot, I mean stars are so shiny... they have so many good things about them- i'm not a star so even if I did have good attributes, it doesn't matter in the long run, do you get it~?" The interviewer doesn't, and attempts to get her to answer the question seriously. Eri in return gives them a mock pout, throwing her hands up, "The stars didn't shine on you this morning, did they? But I mean, if you really need a sparkling answer i've been told that I appear very youthful, so that can mean when I get older I still look young- I get it from my mummas." The interviewer seems hesitant, but continues on to the next question. (Her best attributes include how eager and upbeat she is about everything, often she takes on whatever people tell her with a big grin and won't hesitate to help them. If somebody is 'graced by the stars' then she won't hesitate to do anything for them. She's incredibly charismatic and always, due to years of study, is great at caring for pokemon.) What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! You'd expect her to react the same about this question as she did the last, however she only giggles, relaxing her arms and smiling at the interviewer. "As blessed as I am for the stars as my role for star guide, mumma Stella always says we're speckled with a starsplosion of faults!" Eri flicks her hair behind her head, "I can't begin to start with me- I think the biggest one is that i'm not a star, right?" The interviewer doesn't really wan't to hear her go on about stars again and ushers her to the next set of questions. (Eri has faults galore. She's naive and oblivious to the world around her, and has been since she was little. Often she'd give predictions to the kids that were insensitive, sometimes about their pokemon dying or a tragic accident with a grin, thinking she's helping them, and would struggle to understand why they're crying. It's what led to her being outcast in school by everybody but her best friend. She also does everything for the stars, and would do anything to help them, which can lead to people easily walking over her or using her for literally anything if she's not careful.) What was your childhood like? How was school? For a moment Eri hesitates, her hands going to pat down her skirt, "My mummas loved to spoil me rotten with gifts from the stars above, we were constantly surrounded by their love!" There was a soft, almost dreamy giggle then, "They owned a mansion in the city, but most of my time was spent in their fortune telling shop- we had so many stars come visit, from all over, just to hear what my mummas had to say! They're the big deal!" She seems content with that, however the interviewer asks for something about school. "I went to the local school, and kids were... kids. I used to think I was really good at predictions, until the teacher had to pull me aside and tell me to stop- I still don't really understand why... I was just telling Susie that stars had fated her mum would get in a really bad car crash!" She was hesitant to continue, her hands scrunching up her skirt now, "I always got a lot of weird letters in my locker- taunting me, somethimes kids would write things on the locker too, they weren't very nice but it's all okay!" Eri shakes her head back and forth, ignoring the pitying lock the interviewer is giving her, "Because that's how the stars fated my childhood to go!" How is your relationship with your family? This question was safe, it was relaxed! Eri lets out a soft breath of air she didn't know she was holding and twirls some hair around her finger, "Me and my mummas are reallllly close! I have Mumma Stella and Mumma Oppie- somebody told me just refering them to mumma and mumma is hard to understand so... there! Mumma Stella loves to give me cuddles, and she's very boisterous with clients! You should see her try to bargain for an extra hand or pokemon reading- while Mumma Oppie is quiet, she's very stern but she loves mumma and me very much!" There's a loud giggle, "Mumma Stella dragged Mumma Oppie into the buisness when they were my age, since they both could talk to the stars, and they've shown me everything and been by my side since they adopted me!" Adopted? The Interviewer asks her to clarify, "Oh! It wasn't really adoption, it's really hard to explain, but they got me from overseas, I was only a baby and they told me I was sent to them directly from the stars!" What do you like to do for fun? "Pleasing the stars." Her answer was quick, as if rehearsed, and the researcher stared at her, confused. "I enjoy making them happy and helping them succeed!" Her clarification did nothing, and the interviewer asked for her to give a few examples. "Giving them predictions! I might not be the best- but i'm getting better! The stars in Arciel shimmer brighter than those in Johto! Doing things they say like helping them find lost pokemon, giving them buisness opportunities, working alongside them- stargazing, walking their pokemon- babysitting- anything to make them shine brighter is enjoyable!" The interviewer doesn't know what to think, should they be... pitying this girl so much? What are your feelings on romance? Eri ducks her head, hiding her face from the interviewer almost immediately. "Uh- i'm not allowed to really dwell upon that starry idea- I'm on this earth to guide the stars and be there for them how I can, star guides and stars don't go together." The interviewer seems to want to go on to the next question very quickly, but Eri's soft voice continues. "Sometimes, though- I dream of walking down a pretty white aisle, surrounded by stars, millions- shining, twinkling- what's it like to love somebody? Or to be loved? It's fun to dream, of if life was different- of the stars shining for me rather than at me for once- i'd be in a sparkly, star-dazzled dress..." Her hands clutch at her bow and she sniffles, "...And somebody would smile at me, teeth dazzling like the stars above, the moon blessing us- a-ah, my apologies!" Her head flies up to stare at the interviewer with wide eyes. "Sorry, I thought- oh my stars- i'm not ever allowed that! I've never even liked somebody like that before- i'm happy being surrounded by stars- uh- not being with them! I'm just happy with the friends i've got." What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. Eri seems super glad for the subject change and wipes at her eyes, forcing out a laugh as if to try and shift the pitiful mood that loomed over the duo, "I'm going to be a breeder for the stars- i'm gonna be really big like... like my mummas and make a lot of stars really really happy!" She smiles, and runs her fingers through her hair, "I'd love to establish myself first in Arciel, get to know as many stars as I can and get my name around, just for future buisness opportunities- maybe I can do their predictions too- do you want your prediction done?" If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? Oh, this one was easy! Eri beams at the interviewer now, eyes back to sparkling their usual colour. "Blissey! Their one goal is to make stars happy, and they do so through their eggs- though theirs are a little different from the eggs I breed... It still has the same effect!" What do Pokemon mean to you? Eri gives a dumbfounded expression to the interviewer, "You're really asking me this?" they nod, and Eri rolls her eyes playfully. "Weellll, pokemon are all star guides, like me! They're very important to this world, the stars have big plans for them and I love them with all my heart- like stars, i'd do everything to ensure they're comfortable and happy doing their tasks, and I won't hesitate to help out pokemon who need aid." Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? Eri beams, leaning towards the interviewer, "I said i'd give you a prediction, wouldn't I?" They seem stunned, and a little uncomfortable, but Eri doesn't falter, leaning forward to grab their hand. "I beg, to the stars above-" Let's just say the interviewer was in for the prediction of their life. |
Appearance
Height 5'5" / 165cm Build Lean Hair Color Purple and Blue Eye Color Lilac | Eri is youthful in appearance, so youthful infact that when she wears makeup she can easily be mistaken to be in her young teens., and without makeup she appears just a little bit older. Her mothers say it's because she's been blessed by the stars, but it's probably just genetics. Her hair is naturally dual-toned, being a mix of purple and blue, and her eyes shimmer brightly, their purple being deep and all-telling in a way. She is constantly in lolita-esque fashion, almost always star inspired, in summer, in winter, there is no difference, only stars. She adores the way they look, however if the stars tell her in the mornings to wear something different, then who is she to disobey them? She also has a grey-ink tattoo of the constellation she was named after on her right wrist- Eridanus. Aura Bright- far too bright. Her aura is impossibly hard to look at, though if you focus hard enough it seems to flash a wide variation of colours and stars of all different colours seem to burst forth when she's happy or excited- which is a lot. |

In her childhood years, this led to a lot of bullying, through which only one friend stood with her through. > She'd attempted to go on a pokemon journey with this friend but found herself being terrible at battling and chickening out, this friend since then constantly kept her updated on everything going on on their journey. > Her two mothers are incredibly famous fortune tellers, their names being known all throughout Johto. Estella Novae and Ophelia Castor-Novae, together they run Stellar Studios and have hosted a plethora of incredibly famous guests, a lot of which Eri has networked with. > She constantly references stars, this can either mean one of two things. Stars meaning people who have a bright future and who shine, or stars as in the stars (or gods/goddesses) in the sky. Pokemon
