While the rest is having fun on the shore, Azur noticed that he got some time enough... So... he decided to check on Lacus.
"Alright Lacus... While riding on Classie and the other Pokemon are nice, I feel like there are difference in riding someone else's Pokemon and your own teammate... That's why I'd like to ask you to help me ride this time around... I understand if it's not your kind of experience, but even so... please help me, alright?"
The Lapras cooed gently. She understood Azur's desire and his reservation in riding someone else's Pokemon... and she felt it's a good bonding chance too! She had a blast back then using ice shard to just ski on top of water surface! She'd do that anytime, yes! She hope that Azur will trust her enough eventually to let her find the pleasure in sliding in such fast speed once again... but for the meantime though, she decided that it's probably better for her to focus on the training so she could be used to Azur on her back. First training is of course letting the Nurse to ride on top of her.
"Looking good, Lacus... Oh, Kuuhaku? What is it, do you want to check too?" Azur asked. The Ditto nodded... oh right, he probably can ask Kuuhaku to copy Vannifar later...
"Right, for the meantime, let's surf! Lacus, see that reef over there? How about we circle it several times first?"

So far so good! Lacus is a fast learner. She knows how much she should stay above water, and even without saddle and just simple cushioning, she's quite comfortable to ride. Azur also knows how to turn his body when it comes to controlling the Lapras' direction. He just need to tilt a bit for the Lapras to get it, which all the better! He wondered if he could do something like... let's see, could he ask her to increase the speed? Azur slowly leaned forward. To his surprise, Lacus caught his gesture and speeds up. Oh! When he leans backward, Lacus slows down... ohoh! This is getting fun! Azur once again leaned forward and steered the Lapras! The fact that they have some stubs on their back made it even easier for him to hold on to steer. A little bit more, probably a little bit of swerving here and there, to check out on how does the Lapras turn, what sort of turning control she have, and what sort of personality she have when she's riding the waves...
"Lacus, I'm going to ask you to do a little bit of quick turn, alright? Ready? One... two..."

Mmm, unfortunately it didn't go as well as Azur hoped! The swerving was a bit too fast and Lacus almost tipped. Azur had to lean backward to make sure that the Lapras stopped. Wheeew... "Alright, sorry about that, sorry! That was bad control of my fault... Let's try it again slowly, alright Lacus?"
It's not that Lacus minded it. She pretty much loved the sensation of almost tipping. She felt it's sort of adrenaline pumping really. Thank goodness that Azur cannot hear any of her thoughts or understand her deep thoughts... and thank goodness that he have yet to bring her to any telepathic skill quest otherwise he would probably scold her for that... Either way, time to test again! Azur saw several coconuts on the water...
"Hmmm... wanna train by picking up the coconut?" Azur asked the Lapras. At first she doesn't understand but as Azur took out a Pokeball and tossed it to a random direction... she seems to get it. Lacus quickly swam toward the Pokeball. She however did not swim to catch the Pokeball, nope. She instead goes around it, trying to measure just how close is Azur to fetch the Pokeball... And so the youth leaned to the Pokeball, while trusting the Lapras to keep themselves stable...

Tsk! Not good enough eh. Just a little bit more. Azur decided to once again lean and finally grabbed the Pokeball! Alright! Now what if it's coconuts instead? The youth paced the Lapras once more toward the group of floating coconuts. This time however Azur decided to do something a bit wild. That is, to hasten Lacus by asking her to shoot Ice Shard down the water. The moment the attack hits the water, it created another slide of ice. The Lapras let out a dolphin-like laugh as she slids through the ice...
...This is when Azur finally noticed that this Lapras is quite the thrill seeker. Lacus definitely is the rash type that would challenge anyone, anywhere, in their field and have fun while doing it. It's pretty much in her nature. But enough of that. Azur leaned to the side to see if he could reach the floating coconuts. These old coconuts are not tasty at all definitely, but even then they're good for training. Pretend that it's a Pokeball, nab it and there you go, pretty much! Ah, at any rate, just a bit more and it should be fine, right?
