At last, after a month of waiting the travel bureau had approved the importations of, well, three of Liz's pokemon. The ranger was thrilled to be united with part of her pokemon family. It had been hard the past month getting by without them. The system was understandable, transfering so many rather powerful pokemon from an unknown region and into the hands of an untested new resident, well it wasn't surprising they'd be a little cautious. Liz could see the logic behind it but she still missed her closest teammates, especially Tansy. Being without the venusaur was almost like a part of herself was missing. Still this first batch of transfers she'd been reunited with Raya the lucario, Ayla the tropius and Loki the mismagius.

She'd immediately released all three as soon as they'd left the travel bureau and the group had been exploring their new city all morning. She fully intended to give them all a thorough workout but she thought she'd start things off with getting Ayla flight certified. Having been in stasis for so long and not accustomed with the climate and atmosphere of Aciel it made sense to put the grass flier through her paces. Thus the, now rather large, group hurried off to the training grounds finding themselves at the well laid out obstacle course, where they found an abandoned egg.

Finding random pokemon eggs wasn't exactly unusual. Thus Liz collected the egg and passed it off to Raya for safe keeping. Eggs weren't a new thing to the group though it was always exciting finding out what they would eventually hatch into.

Ayla, though generally one to be a bit more carefully in new places, was full of it today. The tropius leaped into action as soon as she saw the obstacles. Liz watched from the ground a bit as the grass flier took to the air where she belonged. Seemed she'd missed being able to fly free and stretch her wings, though the tropius also liked a bit of a challenge. After some graceful dips and dives around the pole and through a few hoops she doubled back to pick up Liz. 

Cecylia remained joined Liz and perched happily atop the tropius's head. Raya crossed her arms and watched from the ground as Loki stuck his tongue out and went to give the hoops a little test of his own. Damara followed along behind the tropius trying to match her movements. The powerful tropius however immediately shot into the sky as soon as Liz was secured. She flew straight up, reaching nearly a mile in the air before circling and dropping lazily back toward the earth. Liz felt her muscle memory kick in as soon as Ayla had taken off. She hadn't been flying in what seemed like ages either and it felt so good to be back astride one of her fliers. 

Ayla gracefully circled back toward the earth and then raced Lok and Damara from one end of the obstacle course to the other. It was easy to see the trust between Liz and Ayla, as well as the others. Cecylia felt no fear when flying with any of Liz's fliers, especially Ayla. Loki of course did everything he could to try and disrupt their fun but by now they all knew his antics were just for attention. Even Damara, the newest member of Liz's crew, was already feeling at home. Raya kept a watchful eye on everything, a faint smirk crossing her snout. 

Before they knew it thirty minutes were up and it was time to check in with the flight certifier.
