Tell us a little about yourself. How would you describe yourself? "The name's Eric Vandal Wilde! Not much to say about me though. I'm your average guy, born to somewhat average parents. I was born and raised within the Johto Region, in Olivine City." "Was always doing something with my life - whether it be playing, studying, or exercising." He gives a fond smile as he recalled his past. "Always loved the beach, being raised nearby one and all, I loved to swim too." "Eating at the Diner listening to sailors talk about their adventures, it always inspired me - probably why I wanted to explore as a child. Pokemon and traveling were always my major passion - now that I'm able to spread my wings I'm here to pursue my greatest desire: to become a Pokemon Trainer!" He took a thoughtful expression before speaking moments later. "I've been called a go-getter, a wild child, and a walking disaster among other things - but I like to see myself as a guy with a very passionate zest for life, as well as a healthy love for others happiness." Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? "When I was a kid I always loved to explore - I also loved pokemon! I mean, who didn't?! I could've chosen to be nearly anything in life, a coordinator like my dad, or even a nurse like my mom - but I quickly learned of a third passion I enjoyed: battling!" "I always loved watching the Gym Battles at Olivine Gym, so after some time and thought I finally realized I wanted to be a Pokemon Trainer! ...It only took a good eleven years of my life." He ends with a sheepish laugh. Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? "Truth be told, while I love my home region - (Johto is amazing)! It just doesn't seem all that prospective, right now. You get what I mean? I just want a chance to try something new - go somewhere I know nothing about. It's exciting! One day I intend to tackle the Johto League but for now - Arciel is my main focus." What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. "Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I gotta say one of my best attributes would be my looks. According to my dad I inherited the best features of him and my mom. Can't say he's wrong - I'm particularly proud of my blond hair and my emerald green eyes." He taps his chin in thought. "Personality wise I guess I'd say it's that I'm a open-minded and friendly as well as a very empathetic type of person?" What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! Scratching the side of his face he gave an embarrassed chuckle a faint blush staining his cheeks. "Er... Well, honestly the worst trait I have is my persistence. I don't let things go well enough and tend to well, obsess over things more than I should." He glanced around before landing his emerald gaze on the Interviewer. "So, I guess you can say I'm heck of stubborn too!" He chuckles bashfully. "I-I don't like talking about my issues very much, can we move on?" What was your childhood like? How was school? "Oh! This is way more easier than the previous question!" Practically bouncing in his seat, eyes alight with joy he grinned stunningly before it turned into a more catty smirk. "I was your typical troublemaker, the kid who didn't like to take baths before bed - the brat who would hide spinarak in the teacher's desk before class." Noticing the Interviewer's frown he went into more detail. "Oh, I know that look! "Oh no, one of THOSE runts!" And you'd be exactly right! I could barely sit in my seat some days. School was a chore but I did well enough I think. I got good to decent grades at least - nothing to write home to, but nothing to disappoint my parents." Leaning back he stretched his arms above his head getting the stiff kinks out of them from sitting still for so long. "Like I said before, my dad was a coordinator and mom was a nurse - my dad retired midway through his career after losing his passion for it. He opened up a pokemon grooming service in Olivine City after he met my mom." He smiled softly. "My mom was and still is a pokemon nurse - she helps dad with her official nursing services at his work - the clients love it I hear." "Sadly, I didn't inherit any of their skills or fondness for their jobs, but I think I did get their natural compassion and desire to help others... So that's a plus at least!" He shrugs but doesn't seem all that beat up about it. How is your relationship with your family? "It's good! Great even! I was always close to my parents - seeing as I never had any siblings to thrust my affections on to. My parents spoiled me a lot as a kid - it's any wonder I didn't turn into some crazy entitled snob!" He chuckles. "I'd do anything to make my parents proud of me, even if it meant giving up my passions. Luckily my mom and dad are just happy that I'm happy and fully support my wishes." He got a bit of a sneaky grin. "I may just have to spoil them the next time I get a hold of them! They fuss, but I know they love being doted on too!" What do you like to do for fun? "Anything that keeps me active in some way! Mentally, physically, it doesn't matter! But if I have to be specific it would be hiking, swimming, video-games, reading, and exploring!" What are your feelings on romance? "Romance is a powerful and important thing, I think. If you fall in love it will be a special moment. I never fell in love myself yet, but I think I'll be over the moon with that guy or gal when I do. It's both thrilling and terrifying all at once. But I'm in no rush to be honest, love will come to me when it wants to - that's just how life goes, ya know?" What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. "My short term goal? Well I guess to actually get my foot in the door." He chuckles, teasingly. "Get my first pokemon, battle a few wild pokemon and trainers, catch a few mons'." He then speaks without hesitation. "Long term - well, isn't it obvious? Become the Champion of the Arciel Region!" If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? "Huh. I never thought of something like this before! Well, if I could be a pokemon I'd probably be either a Luxray, a Manectric or maybe a Lanturn?" He grins. "Why? Well because I love electric type pokemon! Also, out of the three Lanturn can swim too! So it's a double win!" What do Pokemon mean to you? "Pokemon are tools..." He looks serious and cold-hearted for a moment before the ruse is broken by his twitching face as he bursts out laughing at the Interviewer's incredulous expression. "Hahaha! I'm sorry, your face!" He settles down wiping away a stray tear. "I'm sorry though, that was really mean of me." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "I guess I wanted to see if I could pull a reaction outta you - it worked see!" The Interviewer's expression was less than pleased however. "My bad! Seriously I'm sorry! A-Anyways, my REAL answer is that Pokemon are to me - friends and comrades - who are always there to protect you, and you them." "Pokemon exist to compliment humanity and I honestly think we're blessed to have them. I mean, seriously, could you imagine a world without pokemon?! That sounds like a really dull existence!" Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? "Sorry about the bad joke, hope there's no hard feelings between us!"

Eric is a handsome young male with an olive skinned complexion, unkempt dirty blonde hair, and startling emerald green eyes. He has no visible blemishes on his person - no scars nor freckles, or even beauty marks. For clothing he tends to wear very casual outfits, t-shirts with logos or designs, plaid, baggy jeans, or cargo shorts and occasionally a hoodie if the weather permits it. Lastly, on his feet he tends to wears boots or sneakers with ankle length socks. Aura Eric's aura appears like a sparking cloak of electricity, bright and bold. While predominately gold and green - it occasionally sparks with hints of other colors such as silver, blue, and orange - the hue being determined by his mental state.
