Personality Despite being such a big fellow, Amell has a pretty simple personality. His strong family ties make him extremely loyal and protective to those he cares about, almost to the point of being a worrywart about them. He's strong willed, which is just a nice way to say very stubborn, but he can listen to reason if you're persistent enough. You'll never have to worry about his imagination running wild, as his parents claim he was born without one. Jokes, puns, and similar things often go right over his head; because of this, he speaks quite literally and is usually always confused by similes or metaphors. He's quick to trust, mainly because he believes his large size and sheer strength make it hard for others to lie around him. In a way that makes him a bit naive and simple minded, but he'd vehemently deny that if you were to say so. On the other side of things, he's nosey and impatient to know all the little details of everyone and everything he comes across. Keeping information from him can easily drive him crazy, and bring him to do almost anything just to figure out whatever it is you're keeping secret. There's one aspect of his personality that he doesn't realize, however. And it's how shallow he can be when judging appearances or meeting someone new. Growing up with such a focus on physical strength means that the other areas have suffered, and to him looks are everything. History Amell and Emmet Vogel were born as identical twins to a set of parents who gave them up for adoption. Their adopted parents were a power couple well known in the bodybuilding and professional (physical) training industries, but were unable to have kids of their own. The twins birth parents were good friends of their adopted parents, but were much too young to properly care for two babies and didn't want to separate them. Amell often took advantage of being the elder brother by a few minutes, and picked on Emmet quite a bit as they were growing up. While Amell had a natural talent for physical work, Emmet didn't really find any passion in it. The two still trained together regularly from a young age, however, as it was the only way Emmet would have a playmate. It started off as "who can hold the most blocks" as toddlers, and grew into tackle tag by time they could both run well enough. As kids it turned into full blown wrestling matches, arm wrestling, and similar games. Their mother took advantage of the competition between the two and started several "challenges" around the home for them. One was the "Grocery Carrying Championship" held every Tuesday evening, and the other was "Furniture Lifting 101" where the twins had to pick up the tables, couches, and such around the house while their mom vacuumed or swept underneath them. Their competitive nature was notorious at school. The two tall twins who never quit competing. While Emmet usually always won in terms of grades, Amell was usually the winner in anything athletic. Despite being enrolled in a private school known for their pretentious education system and extra curricular options to help students succeed, Amell skimmed by with grades that were barely acceptable. It frustrated his tutors and teachers, who saw more intelligence in him then he himself had the patience for. Once high school was over, Amell was thankful to never open a book again. While Amell loved the continuous challenges and matches, Emmet found them draining and repetitive. At 18, Emmet ran away from home to pursue his own interests. Amell was horrified at his brother's decision, and it took many weeks of convincing to not chase after him. But the feeling never left. Amell took to help his parents with their work, and found a comfortable position helping with physical training. Between his parent's wealth, his hard work, and the various women who were eager to gift him things, he had a substantial income built up in an impressively short amount of time. While this made Amell lose the meaning of the price of anything, he was still thankful to be quite well off. Shortly after, Amell moved out of his parent's home, to right next door. Family means a lot to him, and he couldn't see himself being far away from them. He continued to help out his parents in both their home and their professions the best he could, but his brother Emmet never strayed too far from his mind. Years passed, and eventually Amell sat down with his parents and told them that he couldn't work with them anymore. Not knowing where Emmet is or how he was doing was straining Amell quite seriously, and he just had to figure out what happened to his brother. His parents tried to pressure him into other paths of life, saying that focusing only on his brother may not be beneficial in the long run. Yes, they missed him too, but some things have to be let go in order to thrive. While they were visibly sad when they said this, and struggled to say those words, Amell took their lack of commitment as an insult. This family is chosen, and he's choosing to bring them back together. The conversation ended with Amell agreeing to become a reputable pokemon trainer while searching for his brother, so his parents wouldn't be worried about him wasting his time searching. He was happy to agree to this, as pokemon battles interested him, and he decided to leave home based on their agreement. Shortly after he left home, a Chimera recruiter approached him. They seemed familiar with his work, which wasn't uncommon given his family's reputation. They convinced him that an Ultra Beast would be the absolute best place for a photoshoot location. What says "I'm strong!" more then the perfect photographic lighting on top of an Ultra Beast? Nothing, that's what! Amell was easily convinced, and joined Chimera on the shallow goal given to him by the recruiter. Standing at a massive 6'11" (211 cm), Amell is a mass of muscle with a head of hair. Quite colorful hair, that is. Streaks of white, pink, blue, and green make up his long hair that extend just past his lower back. His vibrant blue eyes, strong jawline, and alluring smile give this muscular man a charismatic appearance -- as long as you're not intimidated by his sheer size. For clothing, Amell keeps his wardrobe pretty simple. Even the most basic of clothing tends to look good on his frame, so he rarely boasts patterns or vibrant colors. After all, he's the main event. Not his outfit. Dark, pale, or dull colors make up most of his wardrobe for casual wear. When he has to look nice, he usually sticks to light colors and white to really emphasize his muscles and hair. Aura His aura almost seems like an extension of his hair. Strands of white, blue, green, and pink swirl around him.
