How would you describe yourself? "Hrm..." Rae touches a finger to her face in thought. "I would say I'm... fairly clever. Thoughtful would be a good word." Not necessarily in the sense of thoughtful toward others, but giving things thorough thought. "I'm a person who prefers to take her time before acting, then ensure everything gets done right and smoothly the first time. I love seeing plans grow and evolve and come to fruition. It's deeply satisfying knowing one's efforts are paying off, you know?" Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? Rae smiles sweetly. "Honestly, what cute young girl hasn't dreamed of being a coordinator at some point?" She laughs softly. "I've always had a love for fashion, and getting to combine that with my love for Pokemon to bring smiles to people's faces sounds positively lovely~" Honestly, she wasn't even lying, she just wasn't answering the question either. All that bit about coordination did sound nice, and she wouldn't mind dabbling in it some time. But the sort of effort and devotion it took to become a big name wasn't something she was looking to dish out right now. It was a lot easier, and more fun, to manipulate others into giving her things and just going wherever her whims took her for now. Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? "My family is here," she answers simply. "I grew up in Arro, and it's still home for the most part, but I've lived in Arciel for a few years now, ever since Mother's aneurysm. She's needed us to help care for her, and I wouldn't want to travel so far that I couldn't make it back easily if something came up." What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. Rae laughs softly, lightly covering her mouth with one hand. "Oh my. Trying to coax some ego out of me, are we?" she teases. "Well... If you insist. I suppose I am fairly proud of my looks, even if they do run in my family. And as I said before, I consider myself fairly clever. I feel like I'm pretty good at figuring out situations, and that I have a pretty good idea of how to talk to people. Would those attributes suffice?" What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! A tiny frown comes to her lips, almost a pout. "Well that's rather less fun, isn't it?" Hrm. "I suppose growing up I could be a bit of a pushover, and I never entirely grew out of that, especially where my brothers are concerned. I mostly learned how to handle them, but if they're feeling especially stubborn I can find it hard to get a word in edgewise." Other folks might list Rae's worst attributes as something like 'being a manipulative bitch', but personally she considered that a positive. What was your childhood like? How was school? Ah. "My childhood was a bit of a mixed bag, I suppose. We were very wealthy, and I was never lonely being part of a set of triplets. But my brothers were often closer to each other than to me, and rambunctious little shits who liked to get me into trouble with them, so I could have done without that." She rolls her eyes before moving on. "Mom was verbally abusive a lot of times. Dad was occasionally, but it was the physical abuse we had to worry about from him. Not that it was super common, but you know, any is too much with something like that..." She sighs. "Anyway, we were home-schooled up until Mom and Dad divorced. I always did pretty okay with studies, but once we started public school I enjoyed it a lot more. You can't really do extracurriculars in a home-school environment, you know? Theater was my favorite." How is your relationship with your family? "It's... improving. My brother Michael and I stayed with Dad after the divorce, while Gabe went with Mom. Dad got a lot calmer after Mom left, even if it was kind of depression-induced I think. And Mom's been a lot kinder since her aneurysm scare. Probably one of those things where a brush with death makes you want to do better in life or something." She shrugs. "Anyway, both parents are pretty okay to be around now, even if I haven't entirely forgiven either of them for how they were growing up. And Mikey's okay, but Gabe is... distant. I'm hoping while traveling I can end up spending a little time with him and try to mend that, but... who knows." She sighs. Moving on... What do you like to do for fun? Oh, that did seem like a more fun question coming off such a depressing one. "Well, of course training my Pokemon is a big thing. And like I said regarding school, I love theater. Watching plays and musicals is a nice hobby, though I'm also involved in a local theater group that does amateur shows now and then. It's pretty casual so they're not especially high-end productions, but it's fun, you know?" What are your feelings on romance? Hm??? Rae blushes now. "Oh, um... To be honest, I... really really love the idea of romance. I've never... actually felt that strongly about anyone before? But I would dearly love to... It sounds... so very nice? To just have someone you love being around and want to share everything with and..." Her voice has gotten a little higher with excitement, and she stops and clears her throat before averting her gaze, still blushing. "Yes, well... The short answer is, I'd love to fall in love, but I'm not sure if I ever actually will..." What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. Hrm. "Short term, I think I'd just like to do some traveling, see some of Arciel, and raise some cute Pokemon. If possible, I'd like to get closer to Gabe again, but whether that's a short or long term goal depends on him, I suppose... For a more general long-term goal, I suppose just taking some time to figure out what I want out of life is in order first. While coordinating sounds fun, I'm not sure it's exactly going to be a career path for me, so figuring out what calls me will be good." If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? She grins. "Vivillon is my favorite, so I'll go with it~ They're just beautiful, for one, but I also love the butterfly's transformation motif. Whether it's me transitioning into a beautiful woman or taking vague ideas and transforming them into a well laid plan of action, it's just really appealing, you know?" What do Pokemon mean to you? Ah, of course they'd ask this. "They're friends and partners, of course. Honestly, would you people be willing to give a license to someone who said anything else?" She laughs softly. Pokemon were friends and partners, but they were also a source of power and a means of influencing the world. Rae wasn't lying, exactly, just only giving the nicer sounding half of her answer. Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? "I don't think so. Thank you so much for your consideration!" She smiles sweetly at the interviewer. |

Height 5'08" / 173cm Build Average, somewhat curvy Hair Color Indigo with cerulean tips Eye Color Gold | Rae is fairly dark-skinned. She is neither particularly lean nor heavy. Her waist is not as narrow as she'd like, nor are her hips too pronounced, but she does have a fairly nice butt to make up for it. She also has D-cup breast implants. She keeps the tips of her hair dyed bright cerulean blue, but never dyes more than maybe half her length at a time. Her ears are pierced twice in each lobe, but she usually just wears one pair at a time, or maybe one dangly pair with one pair of studs to accent. Aura A gradient of pink, orange, and yellow, looking much like a sunset. It is bright but not blinding and ripples very gently. |
