How would you describe yourself? "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Elise!" The girl across from the interviewer smiled warmly leaning forward some in her chair. "Call me El or Ellie!" she went on. "I'm a part time cafe manager and idol with the band PNG! Have you heard of us yet? Well, stay tuned!" She eased back in her chair again right after. Hmmm, how did she describe herself, though? "I'd say I'm pretty nice?" She spoke-asked "Though I hope everyone would say that!" A softer laugh escaped from her after. "I'd also say I'm forward thinking and positive! I try and see the best and bring out the best in people." She gave a sagely nod at her own words thereafter. "Do you have any other more specific questions or?" Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? "Oh! I've always loved performing. I did a lot of piano recitals and stuff growing up, and I'd love to incorporate my Pokemon into a show!" She giggled briefly before going on a little more seriously. "I know it requires a lot more than practicing a song, but I'm up for the challenge! Nothing scares me!" She brought her arms up and flexed while puffing her chest out- only to deflate right after and giggle to herself again. "And if it turns out there's something that fits me better, I can always change, yeah? So I'm not too worried...." Her voice grew a little softer at those words, and perhaps she blinked a little more than she had before. Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? Purple eyes blinked. "Ah uh well I grew up here!" she smiled reaching up to twist a few curls into her hair with her fingers. "I mean technically I was born in Lilycove and stuff, but my parents moved here when I was like five or so, so home is really here." A pause. "And I... uh... don't want to go too far from my dad's cafe just yet. He still needs help from time to time and... stuff." She smiled a little calmer at that. "When PNG gets big enough, I'd love to go out further with the girls." What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. A thoughtful look comes to the girl's face, and she lets out a soft hum. "Well, uh... I think my... perseverance?" she ask-replied slowly before flashing a smile and rubbing the back of her head. "I try really hard not to give up no matter what!" She went on. "And I'm always looking forward no matter what! You can count on me!" Thrusting a thumb back at herself, she gave another nod. What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! A blush touches pale cheeks, and a small nervous giggly laugh comes forth. "Uhm... well?" A pause and she'd wait a moment looking at the interviewer carefully as though trying to judge something about said interviewer. "I... guess I can be a little stubborn? And hard to please..." she spoke a little quieter now. "I can be a bit of a perfectionist... but I mean! I've got a lot to look forward to, so can you blame me?" She smiled and then looked away briefly. "I'm... working on it?" Was she, though? What was your childhood like? How was school? "Well, uh... it was fine?" She paused before looking away. "I didn't really do as well in school as some of my sisters did, and... I wasn't really as popular as some of my sisters... and stuff...." She glanced forward again and forced a grin this time. "But I met my bestest best friends of all time in school, so it wasn't all that bad." The smile grew a little stronger as she spoke. "And I really liked being able to take music classes when I was younger and then do orchestra when I was older! I got to really show off what I could do!" She seemed to start and stop several times thereafter as if unsure if she wanted to say something or not. Eventually, whatever was going to be said just didn't get said. How is your relationship with your family? Her features fell a little at the question. "Mom's a famous pianist- Celestine Bell, if you've heard of her? She traveled a lot while me and my siblings were growing up and she still does travel a lot but... maybe a little less?" She shrugged her shoulders as she looked back. "Dad's wonderful! He owns the Kitty Cafe in Bass! You should stop by if you have the chance and try out the homemade paw print puffs!" "You said you have sister?" the interviewer prompted. "Oh, yep, five of them actually," she nodded. "Three older, two younger. I'm closer with my younger siblings than I am my older ones, but we're all on good terms!" Why did that smile seem so forced? It was hard to say, exactly. "I'm even an aunt, actually!" She went on suddenly. "I have two nephews! They'll be three soon." What do you like to do for fun? "I love hanging out with my friends!" she beamed. "In and out of idol costume, it's always great being around them." She took in a deep breath and exhaled it in a laugh. "We're always practicing music and dance and having a good time even when the work can be tough." Her features fell for a moment, and she was quick to shake her head clear of whatever was going on between her ears. "The harder we work, the better we get." "What else do you like to do?" the interviewer prompted. "Ah uh... well..." the girl grinned and scratched the side of her cheek softly. "I really really really like shopping... especially for shoes and dresses and stuff." She giggled. "I wish I could buy everything I see sometimes- even if that's not at all practical." What are your feelings on romance? Color touched the girl's features again. "I... I really didn't think it was possible to ...uh... feel that way about someone until I met a certain someone..." She giggled the color on her features only growing more to match the pink of her shirt. "But I know it's real now, and that's all that matters to me. Love is love!" She clasped her hands in front of herself, smiled, and nodded. "And I wouldn't trade it for the world!" What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. The girl's eyebrows furrowed a little as she considered this question. "Well, short term, I want to get better at playing piano and singing... and I want to make sure PNG is the best it can be." She hummed a little tapping her heels on the floor. "I also want to learn to figure skate and ... win at least one game of table tennis." She laughed at this though it was hard to say why. "And long term?" "I ...hm.... I'm not sure. I love being an idol and making music." She made a silly face and rubbed the back of her head again. If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? "Huh..." That was not a question she had ever considered for herself. "I'm not sure..." She hummed raising a hand to her chin. "PNG is sort of Dark and Fairy themed, but... I think maybe Grass fits me more?" she asked looking a little unsure of that. "I like to think I grow by the day and bloom all the time... That.... sounded better in my head eheheheh." What do Pokemon mean to you? "Huh?" Two in a row. The girl blinked a couple of times before smiling. "I mean... they're .... basically people...?" She seemed a little unsure if she had phrased that correctly and went on "They have feelings, emotions, understanding... They may not speak the same language, but they're not all the same? I love those I've gotten the chance to grow close to more than anything- well! Except for the PNG girls of course!" Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? She blinked and shrugged her shoulders. "I'd love to see you at a concert or at the cafe? Maybe we could learn more about each other then?" |
