Tell us a little about yourself. How would you describe yourself? Isaac sits there for a moment, almost unsure before he starts to speak. "W-Well, my mother and I live in the Weeping Forest, not far outside of Ash City. It was mainly just the two of us, living there. My mother's a healer, often specializing in herbal medicines and such. As a result, some people have said that my mother's a witch. And, well, they call me a witch boy as well." He went quiet for a moment, sitting there for a good while before realizing the interviewer wanted to hear more from him. "Oh! Erm, well, I do like to cook...and I'm pretty good at it...I guess..." he trails off again, his mind trying to think of something to say. Probably a good idea to follow onto the next question, give him something to work with. Why are you interested in the class you've chosen? Isaac visibly perks up a bit, though considering his overall demeanor, it's not saying much. "Oh, well, as I said before, I like to cook. It's mainly been me cooking for me and my mother for the most part. And with her help, I've come up with some very interesting recipes. Like, did you know pokemon poison can be used in some dishes? It takes some preparation, but it can certainly add some flavour. Some herbs and berries work better with some than others. Then there's things like slowpoke tails, far'fetched, leaves from certain grass type pokemon, pokemon bones used in broths, that sort of thing. It's really quite fascinating. It's like science, but you can eat it. And...well..." He trails off again, eyes looking away, "I mean, it's not like I'm good at much else really. I mean, what else can I do?" Why are you interested in training in Arciel? Why not another region? Isaac tilts his head to the side in confusion. "Well, I live here. Why else would I choose this region over others? I mean, I don't really have much money to travel to anywhere else..." There he goes again, trailing off, "And I don't really have any knowledge about other regions...and I'd be so far away from home...and if I ever got into any trouble..." Ok, nothing really further to get from this question. Moving on! What do you consider your best attributes? They can be physical, mental, social, or anything else. Isaac blinked. "W-Well, I guess my best attribute would be my skill in cooking. I don't mean to brag, but I can take about anything and make something delicious out of it. Even if people think it's weird, or that I'm strange for cooking something with anything like that." A small smile spreads across his face, the first in this interview. "And, well, I'd say my acting's pretty good. I mean, people think I'm a witch of some sort. So, why not act the part? From other people's reactions to me, I'd think I'm pretty convincing." What do you consider your worst attributes? Be honest, now! His expression fell again. "Well...I'm not the strongest out there...or the fastest...or the most talented. And, well, I'm just not good with people. I-I've never really been around people outside of my mother. And most people keep away from me anyway. I...I've never even had a pokemon of my own. I'm just really used to being alone, doing my own thing..." Wow, this was depressing. Better to move onto the next question before the interviewer questions his own self worth. What was your childhood like? How was school? "Oh, well, as I said before, it's mainly been me and my mother, living in a cabin out in the Weeping Forest. I didn't really go to school. My mother home schooled me. R-Really it's not the most exciting of childhoods. Wandering around the forests, seeing all sorts of pokemon, and learning how to cook and watching my mother work with her herbs. I mean, I always had my mother, but I never really had any friends growing up. The most people I saw were those coming to my mother for help...and people who would call us witches. But it's not like they tried to hurt us or anything." How is your relationship with your family? "Well, like I said, it's mainly been me and my mother. My father died when I was very small. I can't even remember him, though my mother does have a picture of him and talks about him. As for mother, she takes good care of me. She taught me, raised me, and it was because of her I learned to cook as well as I do, and I see the world differently compared to other people. Really, I have her to thank for everything. She's the most important person in my life. And, well, really the only person in my life." What do you like to do for fun? He tilted his head in thought. "Well, I like experimenting with my cooking, seeing what I can make with what I find. You'd be surprised the things you can eat. Other than that, I like wandering around the woods, exploring and seeing the different things you can find there. Recently I've taken to playing the part of the witch boy everyone calls me. Surprisingly fun...even if it does cause people to avoid me. But then again, they avoid my anyway, so it's nothing new." What are your feelings on romance? Isaac's face goes a bright pink and he immediately looks down towards the floor, his hair falling over his face. He's wringing his hands together nervously. "I...I never really thought about it. After all, girls like people who are handsome, right? And talented? I-I doubt anyone would ever want someone like me...someone so weird..." Can't help but feel sorry for this kid. That age is awkward enough without such low self esteem. What are your goals for the future? Short-term and long-term. Isaac thinks for a moment. "W-Well, I guess one of my goals would be to travel the region, see what sorts of delicacies one can find and make outside of the Weeping Forests. I want to expand my cooking horizons, really learn and become a master of cooking, and discover what sort of things I can make. That, and being able to make some money to support me and my mother works well as well." If you could be a Pokemon, what species or typing would you choose and why? He looks upward as he thinks, trying to decide. "Well, I'd say if anything, I'd be a ghost type. They, well, they're often misunderstood, people are scared of them, and they're really fascinating. Very mysterious. And often keep to themselves...a lot like me." What do Pokemon mean to you? "Pokemon, well, pokemon are a vital part of the world. There are so many mysteries surrounding them, how different they all are. There are things about them we're still learning about to this very day. They're as much a part of this world as we are. It's kind of interesting how we can all work and live together like this, don't you think?" Anything else you'd like to tell us about before you go? Isaac thought for a moment. "Erm, not much else I can think of. Nothing that would be interesting really. Erm, is that all? Am I able to go now?" With affirmation from the interviewer, Isaac slipped off of his seat and leaves.

Appearance

Physically, Isaac possess an androgynous appearance with a thin body, pink hair, lavender eyes, and tall stature. His hair is quite short with several long, large clumps, bangs straight-cut and end above the eyebrows, but do not stay very uniform. Two long pieces of hair extend from the bangs and hang low over Isaac's face Isaac's attire consists of a long black old-style robe that is tight-fitting and trails down to the floor.. The robe is completed with large white cuff-links at the ends of each sleeve and a tall, grey, shawl-like collar that reaches part way down his chest. He has a six flat, grey 'ribs' on each side of his torso. Black slipper-like shoes with a tall white cuff protruding out of the top are also worn, though hidden by his robes. A black, wide brimmed witches had completes the piece. Aura A lazy mix of black and purple, rippling around him slowly like molasses or tar, often giving a rather depressive vibe.
