Personality Tau is overall a low effort person. He's easy to befriend, easy to ignore, and an easy relationship to maintain. That low effort nature is a little bit too comfortable in his personality, though. Outside of his passions (exploring, computers, cars), he lacks the motivation and energy to get anything of note done. He's also bad at picking up social cues and reading between the lines, so if someone's flirting with him and invites him out for coffee, he'd most likely show up late and wonder why they're buying coffee (couldn't they just make it at home? Who doesn't own a coffee maker?). This oblivious nature of his is accompanied by him being surprisingly thick-skulled and quick to assume things. If he somehow gets the idea your favorite drink is green tea, despite never seeing you drink it, there's no changing his mind. He's not all bad, though. He's talkative and passionate in multiple areas, and has a a strong amount of curiosity for anything he doesn't know and any place he's never been to. Despite the fact that he's quick to assume things, he's fairly open minded and accepts things (assumptions or not) with relative ease. And probably his most redeeming feature, his unique sense of humor. Growing up around so many passionate people has given him the chance to absorb some of their information. He's entertaining in his humor and how he views the world, even if it doesn't make sense to others. He may not want to explain anything, though, given his lazy nature. History Tau's childhood was classic and boring. He was born as an only child to a happy family. Married parents, both sides of the family got along, and even the mailman was close to them. His father ran a computer repair shop, his mother was a Pokemon nurse, one grandfather ran a mechanic shop, and the other grandfather sold cars. Picking up knowledge from each of them, Tau fell in love with everything car related. His father wanted him to take over the computer repair business, but couldn't force his child into something he'd dislike. Instead of being overbearing or toxic, Tau's father let him work under both of his grandfathers until he knew what he wanted to do. He had plans on taking over the mechanic shop, but when he was seventeen his grandfather passed away and a large corporation bought the shop from underneath them. Distraught, Tau decided to commit to starting his own automotive repairs shop that could stand up against such greedy corporations. His dreams fell short quick, as his grandfather's passing rocked the family in ways they weren't used to. Suddenly, Tau realized he had lived his whole life without once leaving the city. He tried to ignore the feeling and worked with his dad, but it only grew. One day he approached his parents and told them how he felt, and they encouraged him to explore the world. Tau still enjoys the idea of running a repair shop, but he wants to be sure he sees the world before settling down. Maybe once he's seen the region for all it's worth, his goals will change. Almost exactly like face claim, except his hair is more "Bedhead unruly" and less "always over one eye." Since he's so thin, loose clothing seems to just float on him and make him seem more average-sized. Due to this, he's almost always in some form of oversized clothing. He tends to perpetually look like he's three steps away from a nap, even when he's at his most alert and awake. Aura A dull, stagnant orange with small bolts of bright yellow zipping around.
