Char was a good boofer. The Arcanine seemed to melt under Derby's affections, tongue lulling out and drooling ever so slightly, but that didn't stop Derby from giving him the biggest chin scratch! His weakness! A grin was thrown Jazz's direction at the comment, "Yea, he's a darlin' pup." and she was back to ruffling his fur. The Mudkip in her arms let out a curious coo- and got licked by the big orange guy. 

Derby paused as a cellphone ring echoed out, eyes flicking back to Jazz as they suddenly had to go... eh, whatever, ranger buisness calls. A nod was given followed bye an awkward, "...uh.... seeya?" that was... a hella hasty goodbye but if Jazz had to do what Jazz had to do... At least she had Char to help take her load of groceries home, and the Mudkip and Bender- they got this!
