It seemed jazz music was incredibly powerful. Arietta and her rag-tag bunch of pokemon seemed to be enjoying the music a little too much- it was up loud, loud enough to attract curious surrounding pokemon, including a stray Milcery. Apparently, the Milcery wasn't exactly a big fan of jazz music, and made that known as it launched out the bunches and dove straight for Arietta's speaker. "So many experiments, so many mistakes , but I'll go all the way, till I'm in perfect shap-"
Her voice cut off as the Milcery appeared in the corner of her vision, and she all but ducked to the floor, the blob flying through the air and missing her slightly. The Sandshrew thought it was some kind of game and let out a bubbly giggle, and Arietta just shook her head. Chingling, Forte and Aumia was immediately on the defence, rushing forward, but Arietta, not thinking... just grabbed at a quick ball and threw it.
She was awful at battle, so any way to avoid it, at all? She'd do it in a heartbeat.
Tag: This little devil believes herself to be the descendant and rightful heiress to a nonexistent long-forgotten ancient treasure and the civilization tied to it. She has many extravagant details, but no true proof of anything she says truly existing. With a lot of convincing, she could probably be shown that there is no such treasure or even the civilization she thinks she should rule. However, this will probably be enough to drop her confidence quite low. Note: Semi-permanent tag. No "easy" or "immediate" way to clear this tag, but it can be changed over time.

"Yes!!!" Arietta let out a loud cheer, eyes sparkling as the ball clicked! Perfect! Her pokemon seemed to calm down as they all took a breather- if the ball hadn't have worked Arietta didn't know what she would have done- anything to avoid battling. She didn't trust herself with it yet, maybe it came naturally to her mons but directing them in anything but dance was difficult at best.
You said I wasn't good enough to stay, you put me away , you took away my future and my fame, but now that will change!
Oh, right! She was listening to music! Her Huge snorlax was already beginning to waddle further along, and Arietta amusedly followed, the rest of her mons following in tandem. Arceus, she loved them. Obviously, mons that were with her would have to put up with a lot of energy, dancing and music... and... probably way too much venting- but it was fine! Arietta giggled, "You don't know what it's like to drown away, in a puddle of shame And You..." She moved a hand up, pointing at the Snorlax who was just straight vibing, who raised an arm as if he was surrendered, "Yes, you..."
Hands outstretched, she continued, "Made me insane!" Snorlax faked an offended face before turning back around and continuing stomping forward- however, something was in his path, and looking at him dissapointedly- how dare this plebeian go down her path! Timburr was angry, who did this group think they were, blasting music, singing?!
A growl left her, and Snorlax glanced back at Arietta, as if to notify her of this strange Timburr, and he was just about to step over her when she launched forward with a Low Kick... not quick doing much damage, but enough to anger Snorlax slightly. Arietta was quick to notice this and rushed forward, no battling please?! Without thinking she grabbed out another quick ball and piffed it straight at the rather offended looking Timburr.

With a click, their roadblock joined Arietta's team! Hopefully she'd be able to learn more about the Timburr later, but for now... Arietta had a jam session to get through! The current song had begun fading out as she continued forward, and Snorlax, sensing this, slowed his pace, allowing Arietta and the rest of her party to catch up quickly to Forte and create a little cluster of mons, all awaiting the new song like it was a life or death situation...
A familiar beat drew in and Arietta almost immediately paled- it was... it was a good song but- ahh?! Hands drew closer to herself, it was such a beat, such a jam... such a... Aumia squeaked, and Arietta gave a shaky smile- nope. She was fine, she could jam to this! Why do you love me is a song well deserving of being jammed to, it was fine!
Her mouth opened, and she echoed the lyrics, walking in time with the beat,"Hate your friends- I hate your mom and dad..." Aumia seemed to realize the song and squeaked again, but Arietta just began bouncing along, as Forte began stomping rather excitedly to the beat. Yeah. Yeah it was a good song, Forte, please, enjoy it."I hope they hate me back- I guess for once, i'm being honest..."

Wow Forte fucking loved the song- good- good he should totally enjoy it. Everything was fine! It was a good song, ahaha~ She found herself unable to sing along, simply bouncing in her steps, though her thoughts had begun wondering. Why this song? Why her? Why did it apply? Why did he... why- did sh- nope! Questions for another time! Aumia was getting antsy, now on her shoulder, and desperately nuzzled into the girls neck, as if sensing her emotions, however Arietta just smiled with a mumbled, "I'm okay, Aum.'
Gotta be a lot that's wrong with you, to wanna be with me-
Annnnd, that's enough! This hit too close, way too close. It was th type of song she listened to by herself and right now she didn't wanna deal with the sadness going over the lyrics would bring, it was supposed to be a happy day right now! She clicked the song off, which... earned a loud cry from Forte, immediately confusing her- Forte??? She moved to look way, way up at him, only to find him glaring directly at her and letting out a loud grunt, a foot stamping into the ground- uh- uhm?!
"F-Forte? Whats up?" He didn't respond, couldn't, instead he stamped his foot into the ground, sending dirt flying everywhere and causing Arietta to flinch back- uhhh, uhm?! A low grumble left him, echoing around the area- "Hey, buddy, calm down?!" It... oh- oh it was because she'd turned off the music! She was quick to her phone, maybe if she found another song- maybe if she-
A loud slap sound echoed throughout the route and she glanced upwards, only to see Forte slapping away a Shedinja who was curious to see what the ruckus was about, hitting them right out of the sky and sending them flying to arceus knows where- oh my mew- oh my giratina- fuck- shit-
She pressed play quickly, "There, there Forte! See- see, the musics back on!"
It's kind of sweet when we- we fight until someone's calling the cops, but you never blame it on me (You're so annoying).

Forte's stomps along to the song were almost making the ground shake, he was so into the song that Arietta had to ensure her and the other mons took a few steps back- though it caused him to be unable to hear the music and cluelessly slow down. Arietta did her best to try focus on other things than the lyrics- like the cool breeze on her skin, like Aumia nuzzling into her- like-
I, I, I only love, love you when you don't love me, so, why do you, why do you, why do you love me?
Like why, after everything was she loved. She... and- and if she was, then why- she still didn't understand. Why?? She was loved, and yet because of her, who Gabe loved, he jumped off a Charizard- and Koray said he loved her unconditionally which wasn't the same thing and that was all fine! Why was she even thinking about this?! It wasn't like she could even begin to coprehend their feelings- this was supposed to be a happy time! Flowers blooming- fuzzy boots-
Apologize, never apologize, you hate the way I lie-
Lies. Lies. Her blog. Lies- she was dancing around the truth, but was that really lying? She couldn't face it herself. Face the idea of people she'd love coming back in her life. Of how she had to dodge around the obvious feeling of need she'd suddenly gotten, of a want for love once forgotten- of being reminded of something she'd lost and hadn't gotten back- something disregarded. She couldn't explain it, but it itched- and-
So here you go, I'm being honest- Narcissus, come on, give us a kiss-
She was so caught up in her thoughts she missed a Tyrogue practically bolting out of the way as Forte almost stomped down on the poor mon, it's crying reverberating over the path- but Arietta was busy. She was busy overthinking, like she always did. If she was being honest, if she could take a breather and isolate herself from who she was, then what... would she think?
...It's like she told Koray, he felt like home. He was wonderful, and safe, and nice, and-and he'd once been her god- and- her leaving him had been a petrified decision, a fearful one. She'd had her third pregnancy scare, and like typical Arietta she'd overthought everything and ran. She ran, and she didn't recover- and now he was here, and- and he was back- and he forgave her- and his arms-
And then Gabe. Gabe. Gabe- Gabe who stayed, Gabe who apologized. Gabe who had so much going on- who would have left his girlfriend for her- who still loved her- who didn't want anything to happen- who was way too fucking hot for his own good- who danced perfectly- who'd managed to steal her heart ag-
No. He hadn't. It was fine! Arietta was fine! She continued forward, tugging her coat closer to her. Yes. Yeah, Arietta was fine, and this song was fine, because why did they love her? Why couldn't somebody else love her, so she could just- not have to think. She'd already had her freakkout, her main moment, the spike in the episode- now was supposed to be a cooldown period before the resolution, the part nobody cared about-

Hands had begun clutching tighter and tighter to her coat, her mind desperate for answers, Aumia had to squeak fairly loudly in Arietta's ear to snap her out of whatever state she was in, the brunette jolting slightly to glance at her parter, an almost dazed look in her eyes. There was another chitter, and Aumia was gesturing to the phone, still playing the same song. What? Arietta was confused and raised the phone to Aumia height, who leaned slightly and pawed the screen, effectively clicking to the next song in the playlist anddd hopefully ending Arietta's torment- or- so she thought.
“I stole it?” “No, I don’t know what you’re talking’ ‘bout” You bluff away with this charade that I can’t figure out-
She was going to scream. No. Noooo- not Liar Dance. For fucks sake- why did she have all these songs in the same playlist again?! When had she even added them?! Stole it- stole it- didn't Gabe say she'd st- Arietta shut the fuck up. Aumia was quick to hit the next button with her paw, again- again- again- until it settled on one of Elise's piano instrumentals. Good- good- oka-
A loud cry drew her away from her playlist torture and she found Snorlax probably a second away from squishing an innocent Toxel on the path- arceus no!? "Forte!" She all but yelled out, voice shaking with an unknown emotion- frustration, maybe?? Forte stopped, glancing back at her before noticing the Toxel infront of him... oh... oh! Metronome, without hesitation. Electroweb!
A web, intertwined with electricity was launched towards the poor unsuspecting Toxel, who seemed utterly terrified of the situation they found themselves in. Snorlax just proudly grinned, glancing down at Arietta who could have screamed at that moment- no! No battling!
The Toxel saw it as a challenge, she was scared, sure, but... but this big, big, huge Snorlax couldn't get the best of her! She threw herself out of the web and went to hit him with a tearful look, causing Forte to stumble back slightly- uh- oi?! That- he felt an immense flood of guilt... that poor Toxel?! "Oh... my arceus..." Instantly he bent down in an attempt to pick her up, oh- oh he wnated to baby h-
Arietta threw a pokeball. She couldn't deal with a fathering Snorlax right now- especially not with a wild mon who could lash out at him.

Forte let out a childish huff, glancing back at Arietta as the ball she threw clicked. Successful catch. Arietta just awkwardly smiled at Forte and shrugged. That was fine, it's not like she was on edge or anything no- nope- nuh-uh- oh! Oh look! Arietta, in her haste to retrieve and pocket the ball noticed that she was close to Pine... ahhh... uhhhh... she could... just... walk home now. Turning her music off she was quick to call in a few of her pokemon.
Everything was fine. Arietta would like to go home now please.
With that in mind she continued down the path and into a town familiar, that chill jam session was everything but and... she just wanted a comfy bed and... songs without lyrics, thanks.
