It would be Blades the Absol who noticed the Eevee pair in the distance, or rather, she noticed the change in atmosphere and then looked in that direction to find them. A soft call escaped from her causing Fang to snap over and Juni to adjust her glasses and squint forward. She wouldn’t see them yet, but she trusted her Pokemon to have better sight in this case. “Blades, go after them if you see them,” Juni encouraged, and that was all it took for the massive Absol to take off running again. Fang took off right after. Juni followed along at a fast walking pace.
Coming up to the small Eevee pair before her, Blades stared down at them and immediately frowned. They were… so tiny by comparison. The Eevee pair had been vaguely sassing one another back and forth but immediately turned and tensed on seeing such a massive presence coming towards them. As she got up close and personal, they puffed up as big as they could and only managed to make themselves look more adorable in turn. Vaguely, Blades… kind of wanted to kick them actually. Heh. Whoops.
As Fang ran up to them, both Eevee turned to her as well and squeaked out! Pff. They were so small and cute and trying so hard to be fierce. But she couldn’t take them seriously, not at all. A spark of electricity rolled off her fur and knocked into one of the Eeeve just as he jumped forward trying to Bite her. He yelped and fell backwards paralyzed from the Thunder Wave. Struggling, he mewled a bit irritated. The second Eevee had used a Tail Whip to throw out some energy and wrap it around the massive Absol before her! Unfortunately for her, the Absol didn’t take this lying down. A glow on her horn shined bright and then dark before the Absol slashed it down and hit the Eevee so hard she immediately collapsed.
By the time Juni had caught up, the Eevee were down for the moment. Fishing out two Premier balls, she tossed them at the fallen ones.

He'd set out on his journey not long after receiving the Wimpod now resting on top of his backpack, clutching its her talons onto the cloth. She, and he'd checked, was content there as she bobbed with his footsteps.
He made his way down this path once, and he'd make it back. This time, he just had someone else in tow.
Said someone still didn't have a name. As if on queue, she crawled to his shoulder and whined out a squeak, her mandibles flexing right in his ear. "Hey, gal." He brought up his hand to itch between her eyes. She cooed at that and he smiled in response, humming as he pressed his head into the side of her carapace.
"Hm." He studied her, briefly, before picking her up and holding her with her multitude of legs wiggling in the air. "Finn- no, that's a boy's name." And who was he to say she couldn't have a masculine name? It didn't fit her, anyways, and he gave a soft hum again in consideration.
He'd have to think on this. In the meantime, he had no idea he'd stumbled right into Eevee territory, too fixated on his new girl to notice.
Lief had only just arrived in the region, but he was already eager to explore. Having heard there was an Eevee swarm in the area, the boy decided route 1 would be a great first place for him to explore with Haze. The boy had managed to weasel his way out of dance training after a great deal of persuasion towards his manager, who hadn’t been thrilled. But what could he say? He was in a new region, and he wanted to see both the actual cities and the wilderness of this place. So far, from what he’d seen just entering the route, it was gorgeous.
Beside him, Haze trotted happily along. The little Fennekin from his home region was relatively calm as far as Pokémon went, but seemed in good spirits to be off the plane, and out of the hotel room. Grinning at the little fox, Lief couldn’t help but looking at everything he saw. Growing up in a city like Lumiose, he’d never really seen too much nature. He sure hoped they ran into some of these Eevee! Eevee were really cute, and his manager surely wouldn’t be able to get angry about such a cute Pokémon, right?
As he wandered with the Wimpod (Finn?), he failed to notice two shadows, one rather braver than the other. Chittering in the fields wasn't something unfamiliar to the human ears, and he passed it off as some birds, perhaps, focused directly on- well, her name's gotta be Finn now, huh?
He couldn't remain that way when a brief 'pap' alerted him on his leg, the man jumping away with a brief noise of a startle. What'd given the tap was none other than a young-looking Eevee, probably, as it darted away with a loud fox-like chatter to a larger one of its kind.
Was it laughing? It kind of seemed that way as it looked back to him, oversized ears wafting in the breeze. "Hey!" He got out over his own rising chuckles.
That got its attention and it crawled forward this time. Finn was let down gently to the ground and Joey knelt alongside her- just as he did back at the lab. When he 'tsk'ed with his mouth the larger Eevee seemed to come, too, more watching the smaller one rather than staring at his rubbing fingers.
"That's it," he persuaded, smiling. "You guys out here alone?" He didn't expect an answer, but soon the male found its way under his hand, rubbing the tufts of hair up into his skin.
"Hey, see, I'm not so bad." He tried to curl his hand down to the wild Eevee's chin but it flinched away, chittering back again. Joey's hand retracted politely. "Sorry-!" Both arms found their way on top of his knees and the larger female came close enough to investigate. The male, though, had turned to Finn, now yipping and sniffing rather loudly.
Joey's hand rested on his chin. These guys seemed sweet... "Hey." His voice was quiet and gentle, and he reached back into one of the myriad of pockets on his backpack. "Do you guys want to come with?" When he pulled his hand back around he revealed two Pokeballs, the buttons of them revealed to each party.
His other hand brushed off dirt from the top of the male's head. "I can take care of ya, if you'd let me."
Route 1 - 2/15 Using normal Pokeballs on both via befriending
Well that didn’t work. “Fuck,” Juni growled as both Pokeballs popped opened and dumped their contents again. They looked reasonably intact, but that was from a distance. She’d have to see for herself in as second. At least the regular colored one wa still paralyzed and unable to move.
As the second one went bounding forward to the Absol in an attempt to do any kind of damage, however, Juni was quick to order back: “Blades, Detect. Fang, use Thunder Wave on her.” The Manectric summoned up a small burst of electricity and shot it at the Eevee. Right before she’d managed a Covet, the Absol darted sideways avoiding the move, and the electricity contacted with the Eevee paralyzing her. She squeaked and scrambled but couldn’t get back up to her feet immediately. The other one struggled a little more to no avail.
Juni took in a breath and grabbed some more Pokeballs before tossing them at the pair again.

Stella was ready to catch new Pokemon especially since she only just started a few weeks ago with her Torchic, the two were more than happy to start a new journey with its trainer. But with being someone who travels around and doesn't have a place to stay simply out of choice, it was hard to get through some of the weather, the blazing heat, cold nights, and even random thunderstorms, it was rough but the two of them always made it out alive. This day was no different though quite nice to catch Pokemon in, especially due to the lovely clouds above her head.
She was going to make sure to get whatever Pokemon was out here, and keep it close with her other pokemon, along with the pokemon egg she kept inside of her bag. She just received the egg not too long ago and was excited to see what it would turn into, though whatever it might be she would make sure to take care of it. As she braved through the tall grass, she noticed that it was getting much thicker and that maybe coming to capture some pokemon would be too dangerous. Anything could pop out,but she knew if she gave up now that Blaze wouldn’t forgive her, and so she took a quick stop at one of the trees to see if she could see anything. ”Hmmm….” She said aloud as she looked around for anything that was moving in the grass.
”I wonder if Blaze would have better luck than I?” She thought to herself as she took out her pokeball from her fanny pack, she pressed the middle button allowing the pokeball to grow bigger in size, though only the size of her hand nothing bigger. She smirked to herself as she threw the pokeball and in midair it opened to reveal a pokemon, an average sized Torchic. <Torchiccc> The tiny orange chicken said as it hopped over to its trainer and into its arms. ”Okay Blaze, let’s find some pokemon together, okay!” Stella said as she nuzzled the tiny pokemon and then placed it back onto the soft grass, Blaze the Torchic nodded with glee as it hopped around to take a look in the grass. ”Hey, don’t go too far okay!” She said as she ran after her pokemon with a wide smile on her face.

It wasn’t long at all before two little balls of fluff barrelled across his line of sight, coming to a stop a small distance away when they finally noticed the human. Both tilted their heads, the simultaneous nature of their head tilt making Lief giggle. Beside him, Haze gave an excited little yap, wagging her tail at the two Pokémon. Smiling, Lief moves to put down his bag, pulling out his lunch. Setting aside a seperate bowl of pre prepared food for his partner, he grabbed his own sandwich and held it out to the two curious Eevee in front of him. “Would you two like to eat with us?”
With a smile, he set about dividing the sandwich into two pieces, watching the pair warily come a bit closer. Setting the food down a few feet away, the boy grabbed an apple instead, biting into it. He ignored the Eevee pair for the moment, patting Haze on the head as she more or less wolfed down her food. While the duo was eating, the two Eevee crept even closer, snatching the food while Lief’s back was turned and running some distance away again. When he’d finished his apple, Lief turned around to see the missing sandwich and smiled. Good, they weren’t so distrustful that they wouldn’t eat human food. Standing up again, he held out his hand, holding two Pokeballs out to the pair. Would you like to come with me? He asked sweetly, tilting his head much the way both Eevee had done earlier.
For a few moments, they just stared at each other. Lief wasn’t moving, nor were the pair of Eevee. Even Haze had gone still, her tail frozen after having been wagging it at ridiculous speeds. After several heartbeats, though, the male of the pair padded forwards and bopped the button on the ball with his nose. The other Eevee, a female, was a lot more hesitant in her approach. Lief noticed this, and wasn’t wholly surprised when she disappeared into the ball only to reappear in a flash of red light. The ball broke too, which was a disappointment. However, he was pleasantly surprised when the male Eevee stayed captured, grinning as he immediately let him out of his ball.
Turning towards the female again, he tried to appeal to the wild Pokémon. “Look, your friend is right here. He’s still safe, see? Why don’t you come with us, so you two won’t be separated?”
This inquiry was done with an extended hand, while the other held the Pokeball. He’d waif until she wanted to be caught on her own, since he wasn’t cruel enough to catch a Pokémon that was too scared of him. The little fuzz ball seemed to think for a moment, still standing a noticeable difference from the young man. While knowing she didn’t fully trust him was a little saddening, he could understand. This Eevee had probably never had a trainer before. Still, though, he didn’t have to wait very long before she once again approached where he was crouched. Would he be able to catch her?

Another day, another run; it'd be a warm and sunny day as Borzil rode along on Daisy's back, heading back down south on Route 1 after having had a good run. The Bouffalant in question would be gently huffing, but plenty satisfied; happy to have gotten all of that energy out of her, and now simply taking it easy as they made their way home. Meanwhile, Rose - a Cranidos that Borzil had recently adopted - would be trotting along at his side; having to move at a somewhat brisk pace, to keep up with the massive buffalo pokemon.
"Y'know... I heard that there's been some Eevee moving through here..." Borzil would briefly remark, glancing about at the area. Rose and Daisy, too, would glance around; although neither of them seemed to be able to spot anything... At least, not yet. "I imagine that any Eevee we could've run across would be scared off by our run; but maybe we could spot one, while we're headed back...?"
Only time would tell, it'd seem; and in the air, Dial would be flitting about, looking to see if he could spot any Evolution Pokemon in the area. Daisy the Bouffalant - Level 5 Dial the Sigilyph - Level 5 Rose the Cranidos - Level 5

Strolling along at a steady pace, the group - initially - would not have any luck finding anything. Things were quiet and peaceful on the trail; though with a massive Bouffalant, Borzil couldn't help but wonder if it was due to Daisy's admittedly imposing presence! He hadn't seen many wild pokemon even on this calm walk back, after all; nor did Dial, judging by the normally hypervigilant Sigilyph's calm demeanor. Borzil was unable to help a slightly disappointed frown at this, though. Geez, was Daisy really that scary? Sure, she's a big girl, but she wouldn't hurt a fly...!
Well, it seemed that - thankfully - not every pokemon was scared away from the sight of a 10 foot buffalo. A pair of fluffy shapes would dart out across the road - prompting Daisy to come to a stop with a faintly surprised moo, and for Dial to suddenly beep a hair shrilly upon noticing them..! Immediately, the two eevees would stop in their tracks to glance at the two pokemon - and though the smaller one would be quietly gauging and looking them both over... The much larger one, instead, was more than happy to give a friendly yip in greeting!
Borzil couldn't help a smile at this - slowly and carefully dismounting Daisy, so that he could greet both Eevee. "Well hello there; aren't you a couple of cutie pies...?" He'd murmur to both Eevee - holding a hand out for them to sniff. The normal-sized Eevee wouldn't approach; but the compliment seemed to make her puff her chest a little, and make a smug yip in response - hell yes she's cute! The larger one, meanwhile, would briefly sniff Borzil's hand.... Before proceeding to pounce forwards, tickling him with his tail!
Borzil, startled, would stumble a little and fall on his rear; laughing loudly at the ticklish assault! "Pftahahaha-h-hey...!" He'd exclaim, briefly trying to gently push the eevee back. Dial, a bit alarmed, would begin flying over the duo and making dialup noises... But that'd only prompt for the eevee to use Tickle on him, next! Instantly, the Sigilyph would be downed; giggling in the form of little beeps and bwoops as he tried - in vain - to push the eevee away with his wings!
Borzil couldn't help but continue to gently laugh as he slowly sat up, wiping the tears from the corners of his eyes as he did. He would attempt to stand up and help Dial - though it seemed that the normal sized Eevee, instead, would plop herself on his lap; insistent on getting more attention from him! "Ah- aheh, hello there..." He'd murmur; reaching down to scratch the female eevee behind the ear. "Don't mind me while I just..." Carefully, Borzil would lift the Eevee up with one hand - holding her almost like a football, so that he had an arm free to lift the larger Eevee away as well! By the time that Borzil was able to come to Dial's rescue though, the Sigilyph was thoroughly worn out; seemingly trying to catch his 'breath' with gentle bweeps.
As Borzil sat both Eevees down, though... He'd begin to think a bit, glancing them both over. Normally, he was more one for tough pokemon, but... These two were just so cute!! Smiling widely and happily, he'd ruffle the top of their heads. "You two seem like an energetic bunch; I'd love to get to know the both of you a little more, if you're willing." He'd muse out loud; reaching into his bag, to get out a couple of pokeballs and offer them to the duo. "How's that sound to the two of you?" Catching with a couple of pokeballs! (+10% cause ranger)
