Misa dashed through the streets, weaving through those in her path. Braise broke into a gallop beside her, flames flickering in the wind. They would have to be quick if they wanted to get to the store in time, and they had to get those potions that were on sale, it would save her so much money.
She turned the corner into the park, hoping that the shortcut would get them there in time. Misa jumped over a litter of Purrloin, narrowly avoiding stepping on their tails. Glancing over her shoulder, she checked on how Braise was doing. Suddenly -BAMF- she ran into something, Picking herself off of the floor, she glanced forward and saw another person sitting in front of her clutching their head. She silently cursed her luck, "I'm so sorry! I didn't even see you there, are you ok?"

Eric was enjoying a leisurely stroll through Birch City. The weather was perfect, the sky was blue, the sun shined brilliantly. It was a wonderful day to relax and rest a bit. [break][break]After spending so much time roughing it out on Route 1, as well as constantly moving between the route and Birch City, the blond haired, green-eyed Trainer was more than happy to take a break. [break][break] He just sent his pokemon to the Pokemon Center not too long ago and had them safely returned to him. He even managed to make a few new poke friends![break][break] As he made his way through the city he found himself daydreaming a bit - only for something solid crashing into his skull causing him to to clutch his head in pain at the suddenness of it all.[break][break] Trying not to cry, pinpricks of tears sat in the corner of his eyes as he held his head in pain - teeth ground tightly as he tried waving it off, slowly standing. [break][break] "N-No problem..." He winced before looking up to see just who nearly ran him over. A... girl on a Ponyta of all things! "I had worse." He lied trying to shake off the pain before rising to stand. [break][break]"I always knew that life came at you fast, but I never expected it to hit this hard." He joked attempting to soothe the young blond woman's worries with humor. "But seriously, I'm fine - nothing a little headache medicine and some gauze won't fix." He chuckled despite the pain. [break][break] Luckily it was starting to fade, but he was sure he was fine. He didn't feel like he had a concussion or anything and the blood had already stopped - so that was a plus? [break][break]"Nice Ponyta you got there!" He said hover his hand over the fire foal's muzzle - not attempting to put his hand on it - knowing exactly what happens when you touch a Ponyta that didn't trust you. But the close gesture was to mainly get permission to pet it and show that he had no ill intent whatsoever. [break][break] "Glad to see you two are alright, though. And hey! It could've been worse!" He grinned brightly his expression kind and open - not hiding anything. [break][break]"I'm Eric, and you are?" He questioned as he made a gesture towards Misa and her Ponyta - genuinely curious of the pair.

Misa slid off of Braise's back, moving closer to Eric. She gently moved his hair, checking where his head hit ground. There was a small cut, it looked like it had stopped bleeding though, so that was a good thing. It still had her feeling guilty, she called herself a ranger but couldn't even avoid hitting one trainer. She really was a mess.
She stepped back, looking Eric in the eye. It didn't seem like he was concussed, so plus? "I'm Misa, and this is Braise." He was sniffing the boy, probably just as worried as she was. This guy was nice, she had just run him over but he was trying to make her feel better. for a second she questioned whether he was an off duty ranger. But then she saw the badge case and realised that he was a trainer, he was just naturally nice. Her hand outstretched in an offer to help him, he looked a little unsteady. "Can I take you to a pokemon center? I'd feel a lot happier if I got you checked..." She wasn't sure what would happen if she left him on his own.
[break] whoops, looks like he may have a concussion! and... some internal bleeding. ponyta hoofs are hard. oof.
"I'm fine! Really!" He waved her off gently, only for a wave of dizziness to wash over him momentarily. He grimaced as he stumbled a bit, in which the girl - Misa steadied him with her grip. For such a short woman she was quite strong. The light muscle she had going on for her, should of tipped him off to be honest. [break][break] But he was starting to think that collision may have done more damage than he first thought. "Erk-" He breathed in deep before letting out a breath feeling a headache coming along too. Joy. How fun. [break][break]"I-It looks like I'll have to take you up on that offer..." He grit out, noticing that the world was starting to get very bright, as his vision shifted between normal and Aura Sight. [break][break] After a few moments his sight completely shifted to his Aura, so now he had the added issue of seeing blobs of life force instead of people, his emerald eyes shining brightly with an obvious glow. [break][break]"Don't freak out... A-Aura User... Kinda... knocked my head harder than I-I thought. Vision currently stuck in Aura Sight." He explained with a weak chuckle before finding himself leaning on her more for support only to force himself to hold his own. [break][break]Man, this was pretty embarrassing. Not the fact that he was being helped by a girl - no, that didn't bother him one bit. But it was the fact he was so helpless right now, so vulnerable that made him feel embarrassed. It really sucked! [break][break]Closing his eyes for a moment in order to block out the brightness of the world - he kept his head facing forward, avoiding looking at the blond haired, brown eyed woman directly least he get a full view of her Aura. Which in all honestly his eyes didn't need right now.[break][break]"Right... Let's get to that Pokemon Center, then?" Eric could only thank his lucky stars that the Poke Center was less than a block away from here. Every, single, one, of his lucky stars.

Misa froze for a moment, shocked. She had never met an aura user before, only read about them in books. Eric's eyes had seemed to glow with an otherworldly power. Shaking her head, she frowned. Now wasn't the time to be impressed by his power! She glanced up at him again, noticing him shut his eyes again. It seemed like he was in pain. Her hands reached into her jacket pocket, pulling out the pair of sunglasses she had put there earlier. "This brightness must be terrible with how your head is... You should probably wear these until we get to the center." She slid them onto his face. Motioning for Braise to move to his other side, Misa slung Eric's arm over her shoulders and started walking down the street.
She vaguely remembered reading how if a person has a head injury you should keep them talking. "So what were you doing out there? Training your pokemon?" She winced at the strain of carrying someone bigger than her, Misa really needed to do more strength training. shaking off the pain, she looked at him with a smile.
Eric gave a low sigh of relief when the sunglasses were placed over his eyes, the burning sensation he felt, as though he was staring directly into the blazing sun finally died and he was able to at least think properly now. He mumbled a "Thank you." but otherwise said nothing else until Misa talked again. [break][break] It was hard to form thoughts for more than a few moments as his concentration was all but ruined - but he tried his best to remain awake by talking. He wasn't sure what could happen if he passed out, and quite frankly he wasn't all too eager to find out! [break][break] "Yeah, I was... am, I mean. I came to Arciel to try out the Gym Challenge and the... Grand Festival thing their gonna have." He said with a somewhat dopey smile. "I wanna become Champion, it's my dream. Left Johto for it." He said his words slightly slurred though it was obvious he was trying to communicate properly. [break][break] Luckily, it would seem fate was on their side as they neared the Pokemon Center doors that slid open at the presence of the two humans and the horse pokemon that trailed with them. [break][break] The woman, the Nurse who ran the place hurried herself over seeing the commotion taking a quick glance at the Ponyta but then fully placing her attention on the pair before her. [break][break] "Hello, are you two alright? Can you explain what happened? He seems unwell." She questioned as her face was filled with concern at the tired, dazed, expression on the young man who seemed to barely stand on his own two feet. Oh dear...

Misa breathed a sigh of relief, they had finally reached the Pokémon Center. She was starting to get really worried about Eric, it was obvious that he was having trouble talking, he needed help quickly. She turned her focus to the nurse as soon as she approached. "We had a collision which ended with him getting a head injury, I also believe that he has a concussion."
She frowned when the nurse gave her a foul look, deciding to deal with the scolding later. Eric had to be her focus right now. "Well we need to take him to an examination room, so if you could please follow me." Misa eagerly followed behind her, taking more of Eric's weight as they went.
Soon enough they reached the exam room, she happily placed him onto the bed. The pain in her shoulder easing from the lack of pressure against it. She propped Eric up against some nearby pillows, unsure if he would be able to sit up on his own. Turning back to the nurse, she spoke "So I'll go to wait in the hall, if you don't need me here."
Eric mumbled a "thank you" as Misa left to wait in the hall, the Nurse less than happy - glared at her back before letting out a huff. "Alright, dear let me see - tilt your head up." Eric did just as she said as the woman examined his head, she frowned and noticed that the cut had swelled and it was possible he had some internal damage. [break][break]"Blissey!" She called out as the pink rotund pokemon came out a serious expression on it's otherwise cute face. "This will only take a moment - Blissey, use "Soft-Boiled"." [break][break]She instructed as the pokemon did so, releasing a cure that quickly healed any damage down to Eric, much to his shock. "T-Thanks!" He gasped surprised it was that easy. [break][break]"Now I just want to check and see if everything's in order before I give you a clean bill of health, follow me." She said as the blond male was brought to what seemed like some sort of human scanner device. [break][break]After a few moments the Nurse let out a relieved sigh. "You're all well now, mister. But please be more careful! I'm sure your sister was worried!" Eric flushed trying to explain the woman's misconception. [break][break]"Wait, she's not my-" The Nurse didn't seem to hear him as she led him out into the hall. "Miss, your brother here is okay, but don't think you're off the hook! You can't be so reckless! The poor boy could've suffered more than just a concussion!" She scolded the pair, completely oblivious to Eric's further embarrassment.
Misa didn't even try interrupt as the nurse scolded her, she actually agreed with everything that the woman was saying. If she hadn't been so careless than Eric wouldn't have gotten hurt, she didn't know what she would have done if it was something serious that had happened. The only time that she tried to talk was when the nurse had called her his sister, "Um... Actua-" only to be silenced by her look. returning to nodding along with everything that she said.
Once she had finished, the nurse had wondered off to tend to her other patients. Misa had let out a laugh, happy to be done with the scolding. She turned to look at Eric, it seemed that he was healed. Braise had trotted up, nudging his hand and sniffing it. He was clearly as worried about Eric as Misa was. "I'm glad to see that you're looking better... Had me worried there for a second." She strapped her ranger jacket on again, having taken it off while she was waiting for them to emerge.
"So she thought that we're siblings?" Misa could understand what she meant, they both looked quite similar. "What did you say to her?!" That was to lighten the mood, it was quite obvious that he was embarrassed by the idea. He looked like he needed to laugh, and she wanted to help.
