It wasn't much longer now. This should be the last obstacle and thankfully it didn't look too daunting. Toki and Makoto looked wary of going through the mud, but Koa just laughed "Don't worry, you two. You'll get a bath after we're done." They seemed a little less wary now, but they hesitated as they followed Koa.
He let Ali'i out as well "Don't think you're done yet, buddy! You'll have to be...creative with how you bounce, but I think you got this." He said as he crouched down to start trudging through the mud. He sunk in slightly, not expecting it to be as deep as it was, but he kept low and crawled forward slowly with his Pokemon behind him. Ali'i somehow managed to bounce perfectly between the netting as he followed along. "Oh man this is cold." Koa muttered under his breath as he dug his way through.
Toki struggled to keep up while Makoto was calmly trudging through, making small lunges thanks to her small body. Koa reached a hand out behind him for Toki to grab onto. Feeling bad that he had to rely on the help, Toki reached out regardless. Koa gently pulled him forward a bit and out of the deeper part of the mud. "Almost there..." Koa said.
Finally, they made it to the other side. That part of the course felt so much longer than it looked. Ali'i bounced along to meet with the others as Koa shivered as he wiped some of the mud off his clothes. He looked around, not seeing any more obstacles, so he walked towards the end of the testing grounds to see how he did. Afterwards he would definitely go for a shower and get his Pokemon a bath.
