(lv 13 - 27) Aumia and Piro - Lucky Egg Have Shiny Charm
She'd fought her parents again. It wasn't anything major, it wasn't anything to cry about, just another stupid thing on the list of things that she'd done wrong in the past month. It started with a whisper, behind her back as she went up the stars. It started with a simple mumble from Allegra Ostinato to Piero Ostinato about how their only daughter needed professional help. And unlike how it started, it ended with a barrage of taunts and the slamming of a door. It ended with Arietta, as she usally does, claiming that her aunt was more of a mother than her mum would ever be and bringing up how if anybody needed help, it was them for thinking their daughter was somehow more fucked up then the parents who only chose when to care for her when it benifitted them.
She's pretty sure the door would need a new door knob. She wouldn't pay for it. She was numb to the fighting eith her parents, the sock of being as vocal and loud as she want to parents who didn't even care had worn thin. It was just routine. It was just another notch in the belt of a girl who did a million things wrong. She was fine! She'd dealt with them before, she just had to take a breather, take a walk, clear her head and spend time with her pokemon who actually gave two shits about her.
Aumia was snuggled up in the girls arms, a cheap blanket wrapped around the mouse pokemon as the dead of night fell over them. Aumia was concerned, of course she was! Arietta was taking to the forest and Aumia's vision barely covered a few feet around them. There were no street lights to light the way, not like when Arietta made her walk to some shady club to get her mind off fights. It was just the darkness and the haunting silence.
Ara wasn't talking. That was the first think Aumia noticed. She was quiet and staring straight ahead, walking like she had a purpose, like she ahd some sort of goal. Usually she rambled, usually she'd tell Aumia tales just to get the mouse to chitter back at her... but... there was nothing. Aumia squeaked softly, a paw batting at the forearm that held her to try and get Ara's attention, but the girl only let out a soft, pitiful sigh.
"Soon, Mi-Mi." Arietta was tired. Her parents were assholes and the last thing she wanted was to be home with them. The last thing she wanted was to bother more people. But... that didnt mean Arietta couldn't practice. It didn't mean that she couldn't find a small, deserted spot just for her and Aumia and whoever else's balls she'd shoved in her bag.
If just dance, then her worries would leave her once more, and everything would be okay.

(lv 13 - 27) Aumia and Piro - Lucky Egg Have Shiny Charm
Aumia didn't like Arietta's answer, vague and dismissive. A soft squeak left her and her tail thumped against it's blanket constraints but Arietta just continued forth, honey eyes scanning the area every so often to search for something unknown to the small mouse in her arms. She just... needed a place that felt right, a place clear, a place inviting- a clearing of soem sort, surrounded by trees and maybe with a rock, with a nice smell to the breeze and a clear view of the sky... of course, that sort of thing was something Arietta could swear was only in movies, so it was wishful thinking to find that sorta place in a dense forest of all places- but it was Arietta's only hope if she didn't want to end up in Ash.
Maybe... she was going about this all wrong. Maybe she had to stray from the path? She chewed on the inside of her cheek, screw it. Arietta took a sudden turn to the left, right towards a dense bundle of trees that seemed to be ever-reaching. Aumia squeaked once more, curiocity lacing her tone, but Arietta only huffed a little with a soft, "You just stay cozy in your bundle Mia, you're okay!"
If Aumia could facepalm, she would. That wasn't at all what she was trying to communicate! Another cry left her and Arietta finally brought her gaze down to the mouse pokemon, swallowing dumbly for a moment as she made eye contact with Aumia's concerned gaze. One of her tiny paws reached up towards Arietta, batting at air aimlessly before resting back on her blanket. "...Oh, uhh..." A blink. Arietta didnt wanna make Mi-Mi of all pokemon worried! That was bad for the heart! "We're... just gonna dance, once I find a nice spot!"
Aumia didn't buy it for a second but if that was what Ari was choosing to tell her, she'd keep quiet. A content puff left the mouse's lifts and she looked towards the thick of the forest, in the direction Arietta had once more began walking towards.
...But then Mi-Mi heard a giggle. The mouse pokemon let out a soft squeak then, and Arietta who hadn't heard the noise only raised a brow, glancing down at Aumia. The mouse pokemon was alert, gaze wandering the area, a soft chitter leaving her. It was probably just a wild pokemon, but she couldn't pinpoint where! An ear twitched and she attempted to wiggle out of her blanket confines a little, perking up to listen out for it...
Another giggle! This time it seemed Arietta heard it to, head whipping around in an attempt to find the source. "Aum, whaddya think it is?" Her voice was hushed, but Aumia understood it clearly. A soft squeak was of course the only reply Arietta was given and the two stayed like that, if only for a moment, eyes searching out the area... only to settle back to where originally Arietta had wanted to go.
A dash of pink, barely visible beyond the trees. A pokemon! Probably- Arietta couldn't be certain but... it would be soemthing to do. Something to distract her.- and... maybe she could find herself going in the direction of a clearing of sorts? Arietta wasn't too sure but hey, if the shoe fits. Pushing ast a low hanging branch Arietta began towards the pink blur, pushing past leaves and crunching sticks until a pokemon- oh- wait that was a Clefable! Until a Clefable made it's presence known.
It was playing around by the trees, dragging a stick through the dirt. That... was unusual. Arietta inched closer, drawing Aumia closer to her chest despite the small Dedenne's soft chitters that she was fine. The closer she got to the pink character the more she was able to make out of the scene- under the faint light of the moon the Clefable kept glancing up at the tree before pushing the stick back through the dirt, it was... looking at something, or trying to copy something? One step forward- and Arietta crunched a twig.
Clefable stopped what he was doing and turned to face Arietta, taking her in for a split second before letting out a loud cry and setting a sudden metronome in her direction- shifting into Rock Smash. Arietta let out a loud, surprised squeal and dodged to the side, barely missing the rocks- thank arceus for her reaction times?! Aumia almost immediatly jumped free of her blankets, leaping out and letting the blankets tumble back into Arietta's arms before letting out a loud squeak.
Uhm- a battle?! Arietta didn't... she... wasn't good at battles... and she wasn't exactly thinking of battles but- but maybe this could be a way to let off steam? And if Aum wanted to abttle thennn... She brought her lips together, deciding on the spot it was the best choice. She'd investigate what the Clefable was doing after! "Mia! Nuzzle!" Aumia launched forward towards the Clefable, who stared at the duo startled and still reeling from the intrusion.

Aumia used that to her advantage, a squeak using her as nuzzle hits! Sparks danced across the Clefables body and he found himself incabale of movmenet, staring down at the perpetrator of the attack with widened eyes. "Ahhhh- that's good Mi-Mi! Pirouette into a Eerie Impulse!"
Ari's wish is her command! Aumia moved again, paws pushing outwards as a wave of crackling electrical energy directed itself towards the Clefable. The Clefable could only twitch as it found itself entirely terrified by Aumia, this tiny mouse who'd just froze him and... he wriggled, he pushed against the paralization that had him captive! But Arietta was quick. Without missing out a beat she threw out an empty pokeball.
p_ And it flees! (as quickly as its paralyzed muscles allow)
p_ ...And the Pokeball breaks! I'm sorry, this is my first catch mod, I didn't mean for everything to go wrong! One Pokeball has been removed from your inventory.

(lv 13 - 27) AUMIA LVL UP! +2 = 25 Aumia and Piro - Lucky Egg Have Shiny Charm
Arietta could only swear as the paralyzed pokemon managed to break out of her ball, the little pieces of it scattering everywhere before the pink pokemon fled, staring at her with wide, wobbly eyes before making his getaway. Great. This was fine, not like the Clefable was supposed to lead her to like a secret clearing or something where she could dance her troubles away and not burst into very obvious spontanious tears. Aumia let out a soft cry, making her way back over to her trainer before Arietta bent down, bringing her palm to the ground and allowing her little electric mouse to toddle back up onto her shoulder. Instantly she nuzzled her little head against Arietta's neck, just... hoping for the best, and the two continued forward.
Ara shifted then, grabbing once more for Aumia's tiny blanket before pressing it around the mouse type. "Hold onto the blanket, Aumia, so you don't get too cold..." Aumia let out a soft squeak in response, her tiny paws moving the blanket closer to her fur... Ari sounded so sad! Aumia had no idea how to attempt to cheer her up though, so maybe if she just... went along with what her trainer was doing, all would be okay.
Meanwhile, her trainers mind was anything but calm. She had continued walking forward, staring into the distance but... not really seeing anything. Just walking, through trees and shrubbery. The silence was daunting. Arietta hated silence. It made her thing, it made her mum run 100x times faster just so it wasn't so quiet.
...Maybe dancing was the wrong way to cope with this. With her neverending feelings of feeling shitty. She could make a blog post, of a twitter post, mainly about how awful her parents were, maybe a snide comment about an ex... not... that she could... really bring herself to write anything like that right now. Her heart was a mess, and guilt would only make it hurt a little bit more. After everything with Elise she'd come to... a realization of sorts. Not that she ever wanted to face it. She'd rather die then admit what her mind had settled on- because it was stupid-
Oh! She could have gone to the damn clubs tonight! Then she would have just... been able to forget everything! Maybe sleep with somebody super fucking hot so for a night she'd feel better and not have to think about all her stupid feelings. Ugh. Ugh ughughugh. Arietta had had enough of literally everything.

Doubling back on her prior thought, though, dance clubs could really be fun. Like- she didn't have to get with anybody, really! She could just... et go. Let her body move to the beat- oh! Maybe... maybe she could find somebody who'll love her, somebody who'd look at her and be like, so totally perfect! Aumia squeaked softly from the girls shoulder, her eyes soft, worried, a little paw gently tugged on Arietta's shirt once more and the girl smiled- as best a girl overthinking her life and attempting to forget feelings she was trying to squish down into thousands of tiny chunks could.
"Did you see a good spot, Aumia?" Right. They were here to dance- to practice, she didn't have to do that with people. She didn't have to eprform for anybody right now, and if she could just... move... maybe that'd be better then thinking. Aumia in response shook her head, but let her worried squeaks drop, instead shifting to survey her surroundings-
A nearby buzz of electricity cut off Aumia's search, however- oh! A pikachu! Aumia knew Arietta loved electric types! She already had Calypso, but more friends couldn't hurt! A louder squeak left Ari's best friend and Arietta blinked, confused- until her attention too turned to... a pikachu stuck in a tree- or... maybe not stuck... she was just... sitting there... watching.
A blink. Another blink... .And then a slightly more happy grin spread across her features. "A pikachu!!! Aumia! Imagine the dancing- we could have a whole squad of electric mouses!" Aumia, happy at this change squeaked, and the two quickly rushed their way over. Right, okay- she didn't wanna attack the pikachu... sooo... she did the next best thing. Smiling, she attempted to offer her some berries, and watched as curiously the yellow mon began to nibble on them.
"...Sooo.... Pika! Dooo you like dancing?" The pikachu either didn't understand, or was too busy getting her belly full to notice, but Arietta kept speaking. "If you do, you should join me- here- if you want just- uhhh..." A shift, and a pokeball was grabbed and offered! "Here! We have another Pikachu back home you could dance with too!"

The Pikachu truly didn't seem convinced. She gave the ball a hearty glare and Arietta let out a soft puff of air, bringing her lips together and drawing the ball back towards herself and pocketing it. She... really didn't wish to battle, so she still had one plan up her sleeve before she had to resort to those sort of things! With Aumia curiously squeaking from her place on Ari's shoulder the girl moved to wrestle with her bag and pull out her phone instead. "If you don't believe me, lil' Pika, i'll show you!"
The brunette flicked through her camera roll, picking out a picture of her electric types together and pointing out Calando and Calypso. "See? These are them. Calando is a big toughie, ignore the exterior, adores dancing and playing around, and unless it comes to assholes he's super content to play with anybody, soo if you like games, and not dancing, he's your Chu!" A swipe, to show a picture of Calypso on Arietta's bed, pouting and sending the camera the harshest glare imaginable despite being completely and utterly snuggled up in a pile of blankets. "Calypso is adorable. If you ever want to learn to dance with somebody who will push you too your limits, this Chu's your girl!"
Once again, she pushed through her bag, grabbing the ball out with her spare hand and once again offering it to the pikachu before her. "...So?".

YES. Arietta let out an excited squeal, her free hand lifting the ball to the sky for a moment, adoring the way the moon reflected off the plastic before quickly shifting it into her bag and grinning at Aumia, who in turn let out a soft squeak and gently rubbed her head against Ari's shirt. Her momentary excitement, however didn't last- how could it? The reason she was out here slammed back at the girl and she pressed her lips together, eyes closing in a moment of reprive.
Right. A fight. Right. Her love life, or lack thereof. Right. Her blog. Right. Her friends- ri- Another louder squeak pulled Arietta into her slowly spiralling head and she sighed softly. Right. She and Aumia had been searching for a clearing. To dance. To forget. "Sorry, Mi-Mi- lets keep looking."
