[Leona Redwood]

Leona's feet hit the ground rapidly as the cool air brushed against her face. Her arms swinging in the air with each step it looked like they were going to pop off. To her right was a nice green hill, and to her left a beach. She was running up route one at an alarming pace Looking to her side Her partner in crime as of today was her Scyther. The Pokemon kept up with her speed , and even over took her for a brief moment before she started to run even faster. "Oi! who do you think you are? I'm the trainer here!" Leona said with increasing huff's in her voice. The Scyther looked annoyed and retorted with "SCY!" this would irk Leona , and she would say"OK you're on ! First one to Cedar town is the winner." The two would butt heads and continue at full speed. The two would shout so loud that any person in a 50 meter radius could probably hear them. 

After a few minutes Leona collapsed on the meadow beside her, and Scyther was right after her. The two morons had exhausted themselves before the day had even ended. The clouds moved briskly across the sky. They were going to need to find shelter at some point. However now was to moment to rest. "For the record *huff* I won that *huff*." The girl said whilst barley able to breathe. The Scyther sat up and complained "SCY!?" Leona would reach into her bag, and grab a water bottle. She would drink about half of it every sip better then the last, before Giving it to King. "Here drink up!" She said with a smile.

King would finish the rest of the water bottle and Leona would look at the horizon. I still can't believe I have my very own Pokemon. She would think to herself. Then she would look at King her prized Scyther.  I've only had him for about two hours , but if anything ever happened to him I would take down Arciel. Leona's thoughts rambled. King would look at Leona and just tilt his head in confusion. "Scy?" Leona smiled , and pet him "Nothing to worry about buddy. Lets rest here for a few moments then continue to cedar town." King nodded in agreement. 

[Shalin Nariya]

Having returned from Birch's expansive training center the day before, a flight across the mountain valley between Birch and Cedar would be a perfect test for Shalin's abilities and those of Flit. Standing well outside the city's north gate overlooking the valley, the long-haired blonde released her Yanmega, the excited Pokémon doing his best to project a smile through scary-looking mandibles. "You excited? This will be our first real flight together!" The low hum of his droning wings suddenly grew in intensity as Flit stretched them, the resulting gust of wind blowing her hair into a mess. Like she cared, anyway.

"Great!" Shalin shouted over the buzzing, Flit resting a few seconds later to allow his trainer to climb on. With the road being a straight shot north, she didn't even have to hold the reins at all - she wouldn't be facing a direction other than north. Once she was securely atop the great bug-type, she put in her earplugs and swiftly jabbed at her mount's sides with her knees. Flit was quick to react by jumping into the air and taking flight, the girl's skin already tingling.

The smiling, excited Shalin leaned down and forward to have her Yanmega descend into the valley. His powerful wings uprooted grass at the tops of hills he flew past, rattling his rider about in the saddle as he darted along the road. This enormous bug was fast - far faster than she expected. Shalin could barely see anything below her. Flit could, though - he slowed down a lot upon seeing a Scyther below. Shalin finally able to faintly hear sounds other than her mount flying, she guided Flit toward the Pokémon, buzzing over him once from behind, then a second time while flying backwards.

[Leona Redwood]

While Leona was resting a loud buzzing sound came closer , and closer.  The wind around her and King began to pick up. It was like a mini whirlwind around them. Leona had to reach for her Hat that had been blown off her head. Just barley catching it , and securing it back on her head. King however was looking at the Yanmega that was causing the high speed winds. King felt a certain kinship with other bug types. Leona looked over at the Pokemon with wide eyes. It was a truly beautiful creature. However that's also when she would Notice the girl swinging from the Pokemon. 

"Oi! What's the big idea?" She would call out to try and get the girls attention.  Leona was unsure of what the duo wanted. Hopefully not a battle she thought. As all though she wouldn't mind one that Pokemon looked powerful. She also only had the one which she received today so she was still unsure if she could beat another trainer. King However looked at the Yanmega , and let out a "Scy?" More or less asking it what the deal was. Leona and King would wait patiently to be answered by the duo respectfully. 

[Shalin Nariya]

Barely able to make out a human voice of some kind through her earplugs, she jerked on the cord in her right hand, the giant insect quick to turn around and face the traveler and her Scyther. "I'm sorry!" the blonde atop the Yanmega cried bavk, her green shirt already wrinkled. "Didn't see you when I first passed - just the Scyther!" she continued, her voice a bit shaky-sounding. The curious Yanmega started crawling toward Leona's Pokémon, Shalin gently tugging on him.

"Stay back!" the rider quipped. The excited Yanmega leaped into the air, pushed himself backward with his fast and powerful wings, and landed about ten feet farther back, all in the course of a split second. She held her head up with her hands for a half-minute or so, the vibration giving her a mild headache due to her ears being unprotected. Flit, now almost completely still, let the two approach a bit more closely. "Wouldn't have done that had I known the Scyther wasn't wild!" She detached Flit's empty Poké Ball from her belt, ready to withdraw him if need be. "This is the first day where it's been nice enough for me to try flying. Where you headed?" she asked, Flit occasionally rumbling his wings just barely fast enough to be heard.
