Participants:Violet Argyris Chain Level: 1 Plot Prompts: This is her first time exploring Arciel, she wants to learn about whatever she can lay her eyes on. She won't catch pokemon, but she will attempt to study them to see what they are like here, while not being scared to battle them if they do attack her and Irie.

It's been a day or two since they stepped foot off of the boat and gotten themselves situated with the regions government of sorts. Now, they are considered full fledged researchers in Arciel, while also still being apart of Project Chimera. Of course, that's something that she won't outright say, because she knows that reputation that they have here, it's kind of like Team Skull in Alola, only they were actually a bit evil in ways. They stole pokemon, as far as Violet knew about Chimera, they didn't do that.
So she had that going for her new found "friends". But, for right now, she and Irie were staring at her map. Irie's wings flapping behind Violet's head as she tried to figure out how to map out this little discovery journey that she was about to go on. "What do you think about us going this way," she pointed to a spot on the map for Irie to see, "and take it going this way?" She then traced her finger along a line to show the route that she was planning.
Irie seemed to think for a few moments before she chirped happily, the emotions that Violet felt come from her longest friend was pure happiness and excitement. This was going to be fun. Violet smiled as she nodded before putting her map away. "Okay, then it's settled. Shall we?" The rowlet flew beside Violet's head as they turned left, starting their adventure in the direction.
Basically, from what she had shown the bird pokemon on the map, they were going to zig zag, go from left to right until they reach the next area or town. It was going to be a grand adventure. "Alright Irie, you know the drill. Keep your little eyes peeled for anything that might be interesting high up, and I'll watch the ground." "Rowlet!" That agreement made Violet smile as the pairing walked, well Violet walked and Irie flew. But either way, now was the moment that she was watching for auras or emotions, something to tell her that a human or pokemon was near by.

The path before you branches out into two different directions; one continues along the route to the next destination, while the other takes you down to closer to the beach, dipping over grassy hills and mild inclines in the process. There's a particularly thick clumping of bushes on the path closer to the beach, and from that direction there's very obvious sounds of commotion, marked by one odd, misshapen aura that fluctuates between distress and anger. Too intense for just one pokemon, maybe two? It's hard to tell without getting closer.
If one were to approach the beach, the sounds would shift into something more chaotic, shuffling feet and the haphazard tossing of sand, along with a strange.. gurgling noise?
She stopped in her tracks when the path branched off. There was a part of her that just wanted to keep with the direction that she was going. There was no need to go toward the beach right? What interesting could be down there. But even as she thought that, she knew that she could find some minerals and other things that could be good for mining and stuff. She thought of the treasure trove of items that could possibly be found. There could even be things that she could study and learn more about.[break]
As she looked from the original path, to the one that went toward the beach, she looked at everything. She noticed that there was a thick clumping of bushes closer to the beach, and she thought the bushes might be able to hold some kind, but her attention was turned away from those thoughts as she noticed something. Irie had heard something too, her attention being trained on the bush now.[break]
But it was the odd and misshapen aura that had Violet truly concerned and curious. That couldn't be a signal pokemon could it? Was it a person in trouble? Was it two pokemon fighting? She had to find out, and help if she could. But Irie wasn't liking the sounds of what was going on over there, she was visibly shaking, and even her aura was laced with fear. That wasn't a good sign. "Do you want to go into your pokeball or stay here Irie? I won't make you go over there"[break]
She wanted to be fast about this though, and the bird pokemon could tell as she pecked at her pokeball that was in Violet's hand moments later. With a flash of red, the pokemon was back in her ball and Violet was quickly but carefully walking over to the commotion. As she got closer, she did slow down more, wanting to make sure that she wasn't about to walk into an angry pokemon wanting to battle.[break]
But as she got closer, there was this stranger gurgling noise that she heard, and it made her skin crawl. Was this the right thing to do? She didn't care at this point, she couldn't or she would flake out and turn and run. But instead, she reached for the bush and started to slowly move the branches so that she could attempt to see what was going on.

The branches in the bush are incredibly thick, and for a moment it takes more effort than it should to part them without making too much noise and attracting the attention of whatever is on the beach. When you do manage to get a good view of things, there's... blue. A whole lot of deep, navy blue, and that gurgling noise sounds again. There's the pitter patter of feet and the blue begins to turn into something else as whatever it is runs away from the bush, and it turns out it's a... bird? Of some sort? A big blue bird flapping its wings madly and running up and down the sand, and when it turns to face you from your vantage point in the bushes you see it's got something stuck in its beak. Something red, and flailing, and also wriggling and squirming about with little feet kicking around everywhere.
What have you stumbled upon? It looks like a Cramorant trying to eat a nice Krabby lunch. What will you do?

She was starting to mumble as she moved these blasted branches. "Why are these so thick and hard to move..." She could just feel Irie's gaze upon her at the top of the hill though, and that was probably a good thing. She didn't need the rowlet getting upset at the fact that she couldn't even part the branches on this bush. After what seemed like ages in her mind, she finally got them parted enough so that she could see what was going on. The noise hadn't stopped, even while she had been trying to move the bushes. That was interesting, was it a pokemon after all?
But with the bushes out of the way, for the most part, she saw nothing but dark navy blue. Wasn't there a pokemon that color? She was currently going through all of the pokemon that she knew about when it moved more and gave her a better view of the pokemon. It almost looked like Cramorant but what was in it's mouth. She was determined not to fight or capture anything today, just learn, so she didn't make any movements to try and see what was going on. Instead, the navy blue bird moved once more, and she saw that it was eating something. Judging by the shell of the pokemon and the fact that it looked like a crab, she figured that this blue bird was having his daily meal of sushi.
That was okay by her. She moved back a little bit, not wanting to startle the bird pokemon into losing its crabby lunch. But she did watch it. She watched how it moved, and made a note that it was just sitting in a bush and attempting to eat the crabby. But she was also curious as to why it was trying to eat it whole. Weren't they able to like, tear the crab apart for easier consumption? She thought on this and just watched for a few minutes, before she decided that watching a Cramorant attempt to eat wasn't entirely exciting.
So, she quietly and carefully moved so that she could turn around and head back to Irie, only to see that her rowlet was beside her, watching this curious spectacle as well. That made Violet smile, since the owl pokemon had been so timid on even coming down this direction. She sat down beside Irie and pulled out a notebook, and just started to write her notes, but she included a few sketches. She wasn't the best at drawing, but it was going to give her the general idea later on. She glanced up to see what the Cramorant was doing next. Had it finished it's meal? Had it noticed that there was an audience?

When Violet looks up next, the Cramorant would be nowhere to be found. But the Krabby was there, sure enough, bubbling at the mouth and staring directly at the woman with its pincers out and on full display. Around its arm is .. a charm bracelet? Tied tight, like it had either been washed up on the beach and it had gotten stuck in it, or else this Krabby was one that belonged to someone.
Regardless, it's not backing down, nor is it moving to attack. It's just watching, almost like it's waiting... for something.

She had gotten so involved with trying to put as much detail into her sketch, that she hadn't even heard the Cramorant leave. Of course, she wouldn't have noticed that if she hadn't felt Irie ruffle her feathers beside Violet. She looked at the owl to be sure that she was okay, only to notice that the dark blue bird was gone. Her gaze moved and she saw that the Krabby was still sitting there.
She didn't see him wanting to attack, so that was good, but it also wasn't wanting to back down. Though, she didn't know what it was that he was trying to be all high and mighty for. Instead, she noticed something around it's arm, and without getting any closer, she took a moment to try and figure out what it was. It dawned on her after a few moments, it was a charm bracelet.
"Are you someone's pokemon little guy? Did you get separated? I can help you find your home if you like." She was certain that if he belonged to someone, that the charm bracelet that he was wearing would give her some kind of clue. She just had to get the Krabby to trust her enough to be able to do that.
