Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
To participate in the Swarm, first post in this thread looking for a Pokemon. A mod will tag you and reply with stats for one Pokemon you find, including color and possibly even evolution depending on the species. Reply again encountering and trying to capture the Pokemon. Once you succeed, do not post in the thread again.
You may only find one per character, no rerolls. This is to prevent spamming to find special Pokemon. If for any IC reason you need to encounter another, use the same stats originally rolled and pretend it's a different individual.
Pokemon in Swarms have a 20% chance of being a special coloration!
Pokemon in swarms have a +20% capture rate with any ball, and will never flee.
This swarm closes at 11:59pm site time on October 7. After that, no new encounters will be spawned. However, anyone who has an ongoing encounter that isn't yet finished has until 11:59pm on the 20th of October to finish trying to catch their encounter. After that, the thread will be locked and archived.

Every so often, Pokemon swarmed certain areas. It was almost like they changed every month, different Pokemon in different areas. And you know who was curious about why? Sonia was, though she didn't have the know how to figure out why. She just knew it was interesting to find out what Pokemon were where. Even better if they were something she was interested in training. Or just having as a companion.
And from what she had heard, there were many Minccino along Route 1. And how could she not see if that was true? Minccino were adorable, and fluffy! So Valiant trotted along, keeping a steady pace so not to jostle the eggs in his saddle bags too much. Said Eevee eggs had been with Sonia for awhile, and she really hoped that they would hatch soon. She already had so many Eevees, but they were just so cute. And Sonia was fascinated by their company. Darling and Brother ran beside Valiant, giggling and pouncing on each others tails as Sonia kept an eye on them, and an eye out for any Minccino.
"Don't stray too far." Sonia reminded the happy Eevees. She hadn't seen Brother playing like this, as he usually didn't like playing with Sister. Mostly because Sister was always so rough, turning play into a fight. While Darling at least would stop when Brother yelped, and as soon as there was any complaint she would stop and check on him, only continuing the play when he started it again.
How sweet. The two made a cute pair! Hopefully if a Minccino joined them, they'd be kind too.

Valiant nickered as they trotted along, keeping his eye out for his companions as well as a good area to rest. As much as Sonia would have liked, it wasn't very possible for them to walk all day, they needed rest too. And lunch, which without even looking at the time Sonia knew it was getting close. Her own stomach growling with the desire for food. Which meant surely the others would be getting hungry soon too.
Especially the Eevees with their more vigorous play.
Once Sonia and her trusty Ponyta found a good spot, they began to lay out a blanket as well as lunch and the eggs. Sure, they were only eggs, but Sonia imagined that being tucked into a bag for a long period of time would still be stiffling. Blanket out and food ready, but the Eevees were out of sight. Sonia began to worry, already reaching her mind outfor them.
Thankfully they weren't too far, and she felt no inklings of distress, so surely they were fine? "Darling, Brother, it's time for lunch." Her mental voice called out to them, the blonde already sitting down and beginning to dish out the food. Homemade fruit salad, all grown from her own garden of course. And her sandwiches were filled with some good quality lettuce and tomatoes with the store bought chicken and bacon.
It was a couple bites into the sandwich that Darling and Brother rejoined the group, with a purple friend in tow? The Eevees were a little dusty with a couple of leaves stuck in their fur. And while they were still playing tail tag, their new friend seemed to want to play, but also clean them. And once they Eevees were stopped, the Minccino made her move and began grooming the fox Pokemon, removing the leaves and brushing away the dust. Once clean, they sat down to eat, a bowl getting offered to the Minccino as well.
The gift was accepted gratefully, and once everyone was done eating they continued to play for a bit before everyone began to get tired from their full bellies. Not wanting to separate the new friends Sonia offered the Ultraball to the Minccino.
"Would you like to be my friend too?" Sonia asked, tone soft and gentle.

It was nice taking time to visit Birch again. Liz's father had actually stopped by their frequently vacant apartment and stayed long enough to give his daughter a decent hello. Now it was time to head back to Ash, though the ranger figured it wouldn't hurt to check up on the minccino that she'd heard had been swarming the area of late.
It of course pretty much went without saying that Tansy and Raya where out with the ranger. In addition to them were Rosa, Icarus, Reverie and little Mara. The gang was on the hunt for a minccino though they knew they'd waited until potentially the last minute to find one.
The ranger had certainly been making the rounds through the various swarms that had cropped up that month. Still it didn't hurt to be thorough, plus again, she'd had a nice time in Birch. Route 1 was familiar and Liz felt comfortable with everybody spreading out a bit whilst they searched for the little chinchilla.
