It was time for another job. And because Sunset was determined to learn as much as was possible, she had applied for the job Beaker washing. Something she had no clue how to do, but they would be fine! How hard could it be. With Lilligant by her side - because she had arms, maybe she would bw able to help a little - Sunset walked up to the Birch City Lab. She pushed the door open en walked in the building. She walked upto an assisitent. 'Ehm, Hi. I am Sunset, I am here for the Beaker washing job?' The assistent turned around to her and seemed relieved to see her. BJgexBqoWC: 110 Beaker Washing Recurring, Anyone | 1-4 people 4 posts per character minimum Beaker Washing is where most researchers start. Within the labs of many cities, research often takes its toll on the cleanliness of the labs. While most things are handled by research assistants, beaker washing is outsourced to anyone who knows how to do it. Put on some gloves and protective goggles, grab your scrubby brushes, and get to work! Just be sure you don't drop the beakers and break them, or you might find yourself with weird rashes, contaminated lungs, or a lost job (or even worse). Though what seems worse to you, well, that's up to you.
Instructions Your posts are required to be at least 100 words in length to be considered a "post" for this job. You'll need to post at least four times per character to complete this job.
You will not receive rewards until you close the thread.
Location: Birch, Bass, Ivy, Plum, Ash, or Maple
Rewards: +1 Research, +1 Dexterity, 200 Pen, and 3 levels for a Pokemon of your choice. Each interval past the minimum (8, 12, etc) grants an extra 100 Pen and 3 Rare Candies. Each random event gives 25 Pen.

Nothing happened! All rolls were passed. Sunset Greenleaf After checking over his checklist of names on his clipboard, the assistant directs you to a nearby sink. There's a bin full of dirty beakers just waiting to be washed, rubber gloves and a little scrubbrush made for easily slipping in and out of flasks and test tubes. There's also an array of cleaning supplies, but considering it's hard to tell what chemicals have been in the beakers, it's probably best not to get too adventurous with them.

The assistant directs Sunset to a nearby sink. He briefly goes over all the different soaps and sponges. Than, assuming she had understand it all, he leaves her to it. Sunset looks at the Pokemon by her side. 'So... shall we try this one?' Sunset asks as she points to a bottle of soap. Lilligant shakes her head. 'Okay, okay. Just a basic one then.' Sunset puts on her protective gear and starts with the first soap. She pours some over it and starts scrubbing with the softest sponge she could find. And now hoping she was doing it right.

A random event has occurred! What will you do? Sunset GreenleafWhoops! The soap is too slippery. You drop the beaker, which now has a big crack down the side.

As she picked the beaker up, out of the water to turn it around, Sunset lost grip of the object. It fell on the floor. Sunset held her breath. 'Shit,' She murmured. Sunset slowly moved down to pick the object up. Shit, what should she do now? The beaker had a big crack on the side. She couldn't hide this. The best thing she could do was admitting that she broke it. Sunset sighed, removed her gloves and goggles and started searching for the assistent. 'I am sorry to bother you again...' She started when she found him. 'I... I am afraid I broke the Beaker..." 59fV_vvXp_WC: 106

A random event has occurred! What will you do? Sunset GreenleafThe assistant is definitely not happy. A sour look crosses his face and he mutters something about screening for better help, but he doesn't tell you to stop, really. However, the next set of beakers that's delivered to you seem to be bigger in size, sturdier, but also with much more colorful goop and residue inside of them. Better be careful, you don't know what those chemicals are!

Sunset sighed and went back to it. She putted her protective gear back on and started on the next Beaker. Using less soap this time, and Sunset made sure that she kept the beaker inside the sink. That way she was sure it wouldn't fall. But now she had a new problem, the first soap didn't seem to help one bit. Surely she needed a different kind of it. On good guess Sunset picked another one and poured it over it. While scrubbing, it seemed to work. She rinsed it clean and dried it off with a towel. On to the next one. WC: 103 bYfOGk4A

A random event has occurred! What will you do? Sunset Greenleaf You clean off the beaker... or did you? It turns out that you missed a spot. A transparent, oily substance, drips off the side of the beaker and splatters on the floor. You hear a hiss and the distinct smell of something burning reaches your nose.

Well dang it. While Sunset was rising the third beaker, she had layed the second down. It was only when she heared the hissing that she had attention for it again. Something leaked down on the floor from the beaker. Appearantly she had missed a spot. Quickly Sunset grabbed her soaped sponge and tried to scoop the substance away. Sunset rinsed the sponge and kept her eyes one the floor. It seemed calm. Hopefully she fixed it. She slowly started on the beaker again when any sound stayed out. She soaped it in, rinsed it off again and dried it. The floor might have became a slightly different color. But hey, you didn't see it directly. Right? UzFn|TNr

Nothing happened! All rolls were passed. Sunset GreenleafIt seems your efforts paid off! Good quick thinking on your part! The discoloration of the floor is hardly noticeable, and when the scientist comes by to look at your work they don't seem to notice. All seems calm right now!

Sunset sighed as she noticed that indeed the scientist didn't seem to notice the stain on the floor. She released her breath as he left. Thank Arceus. Sunset quickly finished her last beaker. It was probably best not to stay here for to long now. Just get her rewards and be on her way. Sunset finished it up, putted her coat, goggles and gloves away and walked around the building, looking for someone to tell that she was finished. She finally found the assistant. 'Sir, I have finished the beakers.' The assistant wrote something down as he turned to her. 'That is wonderfull. I will send someone to have a look. Thank you for your help.' Sunset smiled and walked out. Pfew. End of thread
