Still sitting in the fitting room, Cathryn drew a deep breath, trying to stay as calm as possible. She shouldn’t be this nervous. This wasn’t even a contest. How difficult could it be. The only thing she would have to do was to walk out there, look good and present the clothes she was wearing. There was no show and not much timing involved. No need to combine pokemon moves efficiently or be perfect in sync. But maybe that was what unnerved her the most. Needing to stand up there without her pokemon.
“No need to be nervous, you’ll be fine.” the hairstylist said, apparently trying to cheer her up. Cathryn almost forgot about her. “Was it that obvious?” she asked with an embarrassed laugh. So far she had tried to hide her nervousness, but it seemed that she was not as successful as she thought. The hairstylist chuckled. “You’ve kept it together better than most. But I’ve been doing this job for a while.” she said with a wink. “Everyone’s nervous the first time they head out on the runway. Don’t worry about it.”
Not worrying was easier said than done. Then again, it was an amateur show. As long as she didn’t manage to fall on the runway, she should be fine. Maybe she would even get some recognition through this. Although she mostly saw this as a training opportunity.

Fancy yourself a model? Well, Arciel is in dire need of them. With so many new clothing lines for tourists and participants in the scavenger hunt, Arciel is short on models to show them off. Take on a job as a runway model in an amateur show to strut your stuff and maybe get some free swag!
Head to the fashion show, get stuffed into some clothes, get your hair and make-up done, and try not to fall when you walk the runway. It’s all about poise, confidence, and style!
Instructions
Each character present in the thread must post at least five (5) times to meet the minimum requirements for the job. Each task has a different concept, so be sure to choose based on the concept you want to role play. You are free to start your role play in the fitting room, about to go out on the runway, etc. Random events will be changed to suit the location. You must go out on the runway before you can close the thread, regardless of the number of posts. Your Charisma skill will help you succeed on rolls.
You will not receive rewards until you close the thread.
Available Tasks: Swimsuit modeling [very easy], trainer wear modeling [easy], lounge wear modeling [average], hiking wear modeling [hard], formal wear modeling [very hard] | (one task only per thread)
Locations: Everyday Stylings Fashion Centre in Birch City [trainer wear, lounge wear, hiking wear], Amethyst Star Boutique in Birch City [formalwear], a runway on the local boardwalk in Birch City [swimwear]
Rewards: 50 Pen per difficulty ranking for completing the task, + 10 additional Pen per post past the minimum and 10 additional Pen per random event, as well as your choice of +2 Charisma or +2 Performance [Any, it's about building your Showmanship]. At every interval past the minimum (10, 15, 20, etc), receive one random item + 1 Rare Candy. Include whether you want your points in Charisma or Performance (and what Performance Type) in your OOC notes when you close the thread.
