As he stepped onto the doorstep of the recipient's house, Armand's eyes widened to see a large Machoke opened the door. Just seeing the Fighting-type stood in front of him made him a bit nervous, wondering if he made a mistake. But before he could reach into his bag, he stopped to see an old woman approached him, which he sighed and gave her the letter. To his surprise, the letter was from her grandchildren who wanted to hear how she was doing, something that he didn't hear in a modern age. Then again, he has no right to complain about it since he did the same with his grandfather. While he was a bit weirded out that he has a distrust of modern technology, just writing to him in an old-fashioned letter made him a bit connected to him even if they were far away.
After he bowed to her before she went back inside her house, Armand left and checked up on the last letter for today. So far, it has no damages ever since that canine incident and from the address alone, he seemed that it wasn't far from where he was right now. With another deep breath, he started walking to his last destination.
You don't see any loose Pokemon on this side of the street, the buildings are protecting you from your arch nemesis the wind. And the signs say the street you need is that way. Go go go!

While this was the last letter to deliver, it didn't mean he has to lower his guard. From the winds, the wrong directions, and the canine interruption, he needed to become cautious about where he was going now. As he walked, he not only looked around his surroundings for any signs of Pokemon. Eventually, he sighed in relief and he only felt a small breeze. He even saw several signs that pointed to his recipient's location.
"Alright... This is the last stop. I can do this. Just one more destination and my job's done."
While he knew there might be more surprises ahead of him, but he needed to move on. He needed to persevere no matter what chaos will be brought to him. Regardless, he took a deep breath, and without turning back, he continued walking without hesitation with his satchel on his hand and gripped the strap of his shoulder bag in determination.
You arrive at your destination. At least, the map says it's your destination.
The yard is surrounded by a large iron fence with a rusting, creaky gate. Inside, all you can see are a riot of different species of plants. The trail, if there was one, has long since eroded away, replaced by a jungle of weeds, trees, vines, and tall bushes that appear to have once been a hedge maze. If you squint closely, you can make out what might be the stem of a huge Victreebel. Or maybe it's just a vine. Who knows.
There's no mailbox. Presumably, the building which receives delivery is inside, although who can say if it's even still occupied? Will you enter?

As he got closer to his destination, he took a few deep breaths, which he prayed that his job will be finished after he delivered this no problem. But as he arrived at his last delivery address, his face drained out as he stared at the seemingly abandoned building with a jungle of weeds that surrounded it and it was barricaded by an iron fence.
"What. The. F-"
He quickly stopped himself as he continued staring at the suspicious building. He knew that there were a few odd residents in the city sometimes, but just one look at it made him question the owner or architect behind this monstrosity. However, he had to calm down. This was the last letter and he couldn't afford to quit now. With another sigh, he took out his Litwick's Poke Ball in case of emergencies, and with a bit of reluctance, he slowly entered through the creaky gate.

Note: You just had to pull all of the stops, do you, Jenesis?
The gate offers no resistance as you pass through it. It's as though it's on its last hinges.
Up ahead into the yard, you can see two paths. The left one is largely overgrown, and you can see thorny bushes up ahead. Slow and steady, now. The scent of some pungent fruit wafts through the air in your direction.
To the right, the path is much clearer, and you can definitely tell it was a walking trail once, perhaps even a road. An earsplitting cry rips through the air from that direction. It sounds like some species of giant ape Pokemon, though you can't tell which one.
Or you could just forge ahead through the underbrush. There's no trail, only tall grasses and weeds, but there's no scary looking plants or Pokemon that way either. Shouldn't the front door be a straight line from the gate, anyway?

While he was relieved that he managed to enter through the gate easily, he was a bit concerned with it just by the sounds of creaking and corroded hinges. This made him doubt the last recipient of the letter, which he mentally questioned how was someone like them lived in this decrepit architecture. What was even more unsettling was the split paths in front of him. One that has a pungent smell and another where he heard an earsplitting cry that almost hurt his ears. Upon seeing this, he groaned and covered his face in dismay.
"Seriously, who the heck lived here?!" He groaned as he stared at the building one more time. "Fine. The more time I delay, the more I might not about to reach this on time."
As he took a few deep breaths, he noticed the under bushes in the middle which seemed to have a straight line despite the lack of paths. While he thought of it was a good idea on paper, he knew something will go wrong if he has to choose that path.
"Man, the post depot better awe me for this."
Once he was done breathing, Armand turned and walked through the right side of the path.
The path is easy enough to follow, winding its way through the... yard? Lawn? Jungle. You hear another echoing hoot from out of sight, louder this time. You would pick up the pace, but now the ground is shaking with rhythmic thumps. They sound almost like drumbeats, but you know that's no drum.
Something is coming.
A huge Rillaboom crashes through the trees and blocks your path. It stands up to full height - almost twelve feet tall - and crosses its arms, glaring at you.
While the right path was a bit easy for him to navigate, he was still a bit uncomfortable with his current surroundings. The creaky gate, the jungle-like gate, the howls... This was too much for him to handle. Yet he couldn't turn back. He has to finish this job whether he liked it or not.
But just as he could make one more step, he stopped. He could still hear the mysterious howl-like noise, but now he heard thumps that reminded him of drumbeats. And as he looked up, he suddenly felt the ground trembling. This was enough to make him gasp before he took off like a Pikachu.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it!"
He continued as he tried to rush through the path in his ditch attempt to get to the recipient. But just as could get closer, something crashed from the trees and landed in front of the contract worker, which caused him to fell on the ground. As he coughed and regained his composure, he looked up and gasped to see a large brown gorilla covered in green leaf-like fur around its back. From how it crossed their arms and its glare towards him, he knew it won't let him proceed to his destination despite he does not know the Pokemon's species.
"You have got to be kidding me... This is supposed to be a mail delivery job, not a gym trial of some sort."
He was right. Armand was currently working with his mail delivery job right now and he didn't want to pick a fight against this gorilla. If he did, he knew Violet wouldn't able to win. Right now, diplomacy was his only weapon. If it didn't, then his current job would fail. Without any hesitation, he took a deep breath and cautiously approached the Drummer Pokemon.
"Excuse me. I'm here from the mail depot for a delivery," he explained as he tried not to break his calm demeanor in front of the guard. "Can you please let me through so I can deliver the letter to your owner?"
The Rillaboom is unimpressed with your plea. After some deliberation, it points with one hand to something on the ground and extends the other hand palm up, and tilts its fingers forward in the universal "pay up" gesture.
When you look over at where it's pointing, you see a ton of Nanab Berry peels. Rillaboom must have a huge appetite.
Despite he retained his stoic demeanor when he reasoned to the Rillaboom guard, it remained silent. This made him a bit worried, which he noticed that whoever was the owner of it, really did a good job following their instructions. But his last delivery was behind the gorilla and he needed to finish it right now. However, he has to resort to diplomacy if he wanted to pass through them without a Pokemon battle.
Then to his surprise, it pointed on the ground and made a strange gesture to him. Armand looked down in response and gasped to see several Nanab Berry peels on the floor. He couldn't understand its language, but he knew what it was trying to say.
"Y-You're saying that I need to give you food to pass, right?" He rummaged through his bag and pulled out some berries that he bought from the grocery as snacks and a bento box that contained his lunch that he made earlier. "I don't have Nanab Berries with me, but I got some Razz, Cherri, and Aspear Berries with me. I even have a bento box that contained my fruit sandwich and pasta with me. Would these be sufficient for now?"

Note: Oh, god. If this passed, I have a feeling you guys will remove either one of the berries Armand mentioned. Either way, I can't wait for the results. Sorry, not sorry for Armand.
You have 2 Cheri Berries, 2 Razz Berries, 3 Aspear Berries, a bento box with a fruit sandwich and pasta inside, and a package addressed to Jeyne Goodwin.
>give cheri berries (to the Rillaboom)
The Rillaboom eats up the berries. Its lips pucker a bit at the spiciness, but it doesn't dislike the food enough to chase you off straightaway. But it's still hungry. Perhaps you could give it more food?
>give razz berries to the Rillaboom
You already know it doesn't love spicy flavors. That would be silly.
>give aspear berries to the Rillaboom
The Rillaboom eats up the berries. Its mouth quirks upward with delight. It seems to really love the sour taste! But it's still hungry. Perhaps you could give it more food?
>give bento box to the Rillaboom
The Rillaboom devours your lunch. You cringe at its lack of appreciation for table manners. But it seems its stomach is satisfied now.
Before you can protest, it bodily hauls you off through the jungle. Its footsteps pound along the ground before it deposits you in front of a large tree.
-Jeyne Goodwin's Treehouse-
You are in front of a large tree. A trail leads south out of the garden. There's a rope dangling from a high branch. It looks like you can climb it. At the top, though you have to squint to see it, is a substantial treehouse.
While he groaned in dismay at the sight of most of his berries and lunch being devoured by a gluttonous Rillaboom, he was at least relieved that it somehow enjoyed it. Sure, this would mean he has to spend his paycheck for lunch later, but he knew it was worth it.
At least, that was his idea until the gorilla grabbed the contract worker by its arms.
"W-Wha= What the hell are y-"
Before he could finish, Armand found himself being carried off into the jungle that was supposed to be a lawn. After a while, the Grass-type dropped him in front of a large tree. He then got up and looked around his surroundings before he looked up and noticed the rope above him, which made him sigh in frustration.
"First, the Rillaboom guard. And now this? This is supposed to be a mail delivery service, not a jungle adventure."
Despite his complaint, he decided to forge on as he grabbed hold onto the rope and started climbing it. He already made it this far and he was not going to give up in this last stretch.
You don't make it up more than a few feet before your grip slips and you land flat on your ass. The Rillaboom is pounding the ground and hooting with laughter. You see some rather colorful bird Pokemon scatter out of the trees in response.
A voice calls out from the treehouse. "What the HELL'S going on down there?"
One advantage for Armand other than his psychic abilities was his speed and agility due to his brief stint as a runner back in high school and his daily jogs before he moved to Arciel. Unfortunately, his reliance on speed made him a bit weak on strength as he ended up falling on his backside after he fell from the rope. What was even more humiliating was the Grass-type started to laugh at the contract worker, which he responded with a death glare from him. At this point, he was about to lose his patience and let his powers lose control over his ridiculous adventures.
However, his boiling rage calmed down as soon as he heard someone from the top of the tree. His eyes widened at what he just heard. Was someone living there and not inside the building? He has no idea how would that work in the middle of the city, but this might be his only chance.
"Sorry for disturbing you! But I'm looking for someone named "Jeyne Goodwin"!" He called out. "I'm from the mail depot and I'm here to deliver a parcel to them!"
It might be stupid for him to call out to someone he has no clue who it really was. But he was hoping he could get the parcel to the last recipient and finish this crazy job once and for all.
You see an individual emerge from the treehouse, wearing a white lab coat and thick coke-bottle glasses. They swing down the rope with the grace of a trapeze artist, earning an admiring look from the Rillaboom, then run up to you. "Hello! I'm Jeyne. You're the mail carrier? Oh, these must be the samples I ordered!" They grab your hand and shake it forcefully. As they're signing off on the delivery, they mutter to themself, "Oh, you have no idea how grateful I am, that you took the time to hand deliver these to the laboratory, normally I have so many delays from the post office, always making some excuse or another..."
In the back of your mind, you wager a guess as to why this person's packages don't always arrive on time.
The good news, someone responded to his call. The bad news, he saw a man in a lab coat swung from the treehouse and ran up to him after landing, which he shook his hand as he felt a slight pain from his grip. Regardless, he was happy to give the parcel away from Jeyne as he finally sighed in relief. However, just as he could leave, he overheard the man muttered to himself regarding some delays in his deliveries and the many excuses behind it. After what he had been through, he could guess the reason why.
So he waved goodbye to the Rillaboom, left the jungle and the abandoned building, and headed back to the post office to report his success. In his honesty, despite everything he had been through, he was relieved that he delivered all three mails without tampering or damaging them in the process. However, when they asked him to deliver another three packages, he flatly refused and excused himself for the time being. While he was happy that the job was completed, he didn't want to touch another mail delivery job for a while. This was not only to let him rest but to regain what has left of his sanity thanks to his misadventures with it.
For now, he decided to stop by at a nearby restaurant for a lunch. He did have his paycheck, so why not try something to rest himself for now?
