Armand wasn't much of a bicycle person. Most of the time, he mostly walked and jogged a lot especially in his jobs and travels. However, he was willing to ride one of his new jobs involved another delivery to someone who was already in the move. But as he prepared the bike that they provided, he began to worry about what was to come in his new journey ahead.
"Hey, is something the matter, sir?"
His eyes widened before he turned to see his current employer walked up behind him.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just to confirm this, I have to send this letter to a trainer who is currently traveling to Bass City, correct?"
His employer nodded and said, "Yep. If you're fast enough with that bike, you might able to meet up with them before they can reach their destination. Just make sure you don't trip any pebbles from the ground along the way, okay? Who knows? You might able to keep it for yourself."
Armand sighed and shifted his gaze to the road as he hopped onto the bicycle.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be going now."
With that, he pedaled away from the gates of Cedar Town with his intent to deliver it to the recipient.

You don't get very far into your route when there's a sudden chill wind blowing, enough to send goosebumps down your back. A little odd, but nothing too concerning, right? That is... until you hear the familiar chorus of barking and yapping, and the pitter patter of a stampede of little feet. That group of dogs from your mail delivery quest? They're back for round two! Good thing you're on a bike, right?
It only took a while for him to get used to riding the bicycle, but true to the phrase "like riding a bicycle", he has little difficulties with balance and pedaling. At this point, he thought his delivery to the traveling trainer a smooth sailing.
At least that was the plan until he stopped pedaling and heard a noise behind him. When he turned to see what it was, his eyes widened to see a pack of Pokemon heading towards his destination. Upon a closer look, he saw a few Growlithe, a Yamper, and smaller Lillipups, the very same Pokemon that he encountered from his previous job. Without any second thoughts, he started pedaling again as he tried to outrun the canine Pokemon.
"This is impossible! How the hell did they get here from Birch City in just one day?!"
He couldn't tell if they did arrive on Route 2 in one day. But all he knew was that he stopped pedaling, then history repeated itself again. He just hoped his bicycle would be enough to lose them this time.
Uh oh! You're not going fast enough! A couple of the naughty pups have caught up and now they are biting at the back wheel of your bike! Can you speed up and loose them, or will you topple over?

While learning how to ride a bicycle was simple for him, just mastering it was a whole other story. For one thing, pedaling was very different from walking and because of this, most of the canine Pokemon managed to catch with him and started nibbling on the back wheel of his bike, something that he noticed too late.
"Hey! Arrête ça! You're going to pop it!"
Despite his pleas, the Pokemon continued to chomp on the wheel, which caused him to panic. He would have used his psychic abilities to push him away, but he refrained from using them on other people and Pokemon. If he would, then he wouldn't forgive himself. So his only option was to pedal as fast as he could and prayed that he could outrun them before they could damage the wheel. This might be a bit reckless on his end, but he wanted to get to the trainer as fast as possible.
It's working! Bu picking up speed, the wheel rattles uncomfortably in the canines mouths and they stop, pawing at their muzzles as you make your getaway!

Much to his surprise and relief, his efforts to pick up speed were enough to outrun the canine enough to free his back wheel and headed off deeper into the route. He thought this might be a bit reckless, but he never knew it worked.
"Sorry for that, everyone!" He called out as he continued to pedal from the dogs away. While he was a bit guilty to leave them like that, but he didn't want any obstacles like them to deter him from his current job. Although, he made a mental note to let their owners know of their whereabouts after this. For now, he focused on the route's road and continued riding through the route with his near-chewed bicycle. Although, he stopped a few miles later as he had to check up on his tire as soon as he was a bit far away from the canine Pokemon. They may be a bit young, but he knew their fangs were enough to pierce through the tires.

The good news is you escaped!! And despite what you may think, there are no dogs on bicycles coming after you, nor are there fully evolved puppers continuing the pursuit. All's well and good, right?
You'd think so, but there's a glint of something steely that comes flying at you from out of nowhere, and in the next instant your bike chain locks up, caught around something that clatters and rolls and clanks in the metal. It actually is enough to dislodge it completely, but not break it; the only thing is, with the sudden stop will you go pitching forward??
Whether or not you do, upon closer inspection it would appear entangled in the bike chain is... a knife. A small, but rather ominous looking knife. Where the heck did that come from? A warning, maybe???
