Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
To participate in the Community Garden, first post in this thread looking for a Pokemon. A mod will tag you and reply with stats for one Pokemon you find, including color and possibly even evolution depending on the species. Reply again encountering and trying to capture the Pokemon. Once you succeed, do not post in the thread again unless looking for a new encounter.
You get one free catch per month, and up to four encounters per month. Each catch after the first will cost you 100 Pen. Be sure to note how many Pokemon you've caught for the mod when you capture one.
Pokemon in the Garden have a +20% capture rate with any ball, and will never flee.
The Pokemon in stock in this thread will rotate out at 11:59pm site time on November 6. After that, no new encounters will be spawned. However, anyone who has an ongoing encounter that isn't yet finished has until 11:59pm on the 20th of November to finish trying to catch their encounter. After that, the thread will be locked.
Faolan remembered seeing the ads posted around the various cities and the promotions run on the telly when she passed by shop windows, and the prospect had been intriguing enough. Some of the various types advertised had been ones she was familiar with, but their color variant was different; not quite the same as shinies, but more of an Arciel varient. She only had one out of the six listed species, and since the Garden was fairly close she figured it would be a good idea to make her way there to see what she could rustle up.
For this excursion she'd decided to take Ella and her as-of-yet-unnamed Aron. Both were babies, not quite used to battling, and admittedly Faolan had hoped that Ella would not be used if only for the fact that she didn't think the elephant could quite behave itself enough not to throw her own droppings. She hadn't had much time to train her out of that particular bad habit, and she didn't expect the pokemon to break out of it overnight.
The Garden was actually quite impressive, with an array of different habitats and nests and, sure enough, different colored pokemon she recognized. She wasn't out to catch her any particular one; she had the special variant for Blipbug, but the others were fair game. It was only a matter of seeing which one would approach her first. Readjusting the strap that held the satchel containing her still-unhatched egg - which she was wondering over, given the surface glinted like steel - she picked her way carefully through the garden paths, keeping an eye and ear out for anything that might approach.
