Crap, crap, crap, CRAP! Not only was Marley now surrounded by these little guys, but he was disarmed as well. I mean, he could try and fight his way out, that was certainly an option, but he was outnumbered, and letting loose with his pokemon in here might cause the tunnel to collapse. These little guys can burrow out just fine. Marley, not so much.

So, Marley did what he could consider to be the only smart option in this situation. He jumped over them. I mean, they were short after all. If he could just get out of this situation, he can at least get away without getting beaten on.

Marley let out a small sigh of relief. That...was way too close for comfort. And now, he was out a pickaxe, and the tunnel was infested with angry Sandshrews. It just seemed like today everything was going to go wrong for Marley.

Well, despite his sense of pride and recklessness, Marley knew when it was time to call it quits. Getting into a fight in an already unstable tunnel was a bad idea. The others can handle the sandshrew.

He gave a small, irritated sigh as he turned to leave. Hopefully, the next time he came to work, things would go a lot more smoothly.
