It was when they flew to him with the fearow overhead that Gilbert noticed Coal's harness was off. Quickly so as he consoled the two he grabbed her harness and hook it back up to her. He didn't want a run away pidgey after all - especially since he'd had runaway animals before. He remembered the growlithes and he never wanted to get the reputation that he was the one who lost pokemon when he tried to take them on walks. "It's okay you two, it's only a fearow." he commented as he gave them some strokes on their chest. He did suppose it was time they made their last round around the park and met their owner back at their home.

"Well let's see about heading out then?" he asked them as he began to stand up. Coal was flustered still clinging to his shirt as Sparks did the same. Gilbert tried to get the two off of his shirt but it appeared like their claws were stuck in the fabric. How was he supposed to excersize the pokemon like this? He gently tried to take them off, pulling and tugged them certain ways as they flapped their wings. "Alright alright, calm down now we'll figure this out." he said calmingly as he tried to think of what to do.

When he got them off of his shirt he breathed a sigh of relief. It also seemed to calm the two of them down too. Flying up in the air Gilbert made sure he had a good grip on their leashes. He looked up and them and smiled, "Now that wasn't so bad, let's get going." Gilbert took the two pidgey's out of the area with the vendors. As they walked along the pathway of the park the sounds of the festival was beginning to fade away. It made him slightly sad but if they were going to make good time then they were going to need to continue their walk. Specially after the breaks that they had Gilbert trusted that they needed to get some well deserved exercise in.

As they walked he kept a watchful eye on the birds above him and slightly ahead. Those passing looked at him for a moment in mystery. Gilbert was confused - the two pidgey's in front of him seemed to be just fine. He shook his head it must have been just his imagination after all. Gilbert pressed on as he smiled at the two pidgeys. "Almost done now look there's the gate." he gestured towards the front gate of the park. At least that's what their end would be unless something were to happen.

Leaning casually against the gate, tossing a Poke Ball up and down, is none other than a Youngster.  With how his eyes scan the area, he must be camping by the entrance looking for trainers to battle as they pass.  Hopefully, he'll understand that these aren't your Pidgey to battle with!

Gilbert was looking forward to returning the pidgey's to their owner. But a youth seemed to be stalking the gate. Anxiety fell over him as suddenly the youth spotted them and looked at Coal and spark with a grin. Gilbert stood there and waited as he walked over. "You made eye contact with me, you have to battle me now!" Gilbert normally really liked children but he felt like this was a bad situation. "I uhh I'm not a trainer." Gilbert first explained as he took his free hand and scratching his cheek. His chin sticking up as the youth frowned. He pointed to the two pidgeys. "Why do you have pokemon then?" Coal and Spark landed on his shoulders a little winded.

"I'm a breeder but oh, these aren't mine. I'm walking them and we were just getting finished actually. It's time they go home." Gilbert said as the youth narrowed his eyes in suspicion. He looked Gilbert up and down. Gilbert knew where this was going. He looked strong after all he had the appearance of a body builder. Albeit he had glorious hair too. "You're just lying! Battle me!" the boy complained holding the pokeball in his hand. It looked like he was about to click it and Gilbert wasn't sure if he was going to have to explain this to the owner or not who may or may not have still been in the park.

Gilbert was filled with relief when the boy was dragged away. It meant that he had much less to deal with. As he reached the gate it seemed the owner was coming up upon them. The young man was excited giving a wave as he seemed out of breath approaching Gilbert. "Funny that you'd bring them to the park." the man said as he grinned. His pidgey's seemed more excited. They fluttered around nearly getting tangled again as their owner grabbed them and laughed.

"Thank you so much Gilbert. I know with my job it's kinda hard to take them on walks like this." He started to go through his wallet as Gilbert watched with a smile. The man pulled out some poke dollars and handed them to him. Gilbert accepted though he knew he felt kind of guilty despite it being a job. "Oh thank you so much they aren't too much trouble I'd love to walk them again." Gilbert responded as he smiled. Coal and sparks seemed all the more excited to be back with their owner. Now Gilbert could head home and deal with his own pokemon.
