Sage took several minutes to slide everything into place, or what she hoped was the right place. But she finally got the last piece done, and it cliicked and slid open. Beneath it were two berries, which she showed to Staccato.

"Look! A treat for getting it right!" She put them away, and turned to the next room. 

The next room was beautiful. The ceiling was covered in tiny lights that looked like stars, and a large round light in the center of the room shined like the moon. She nearly dropped Staccato in surprise though when the three Lycanroc started howling again. But at least "pick a partner and sing" were very clear instructions. 

She looked at all three, feeling awkward about choosing one, why couldnt she sing with all of them? But she knew she had better follow the rules. So she approached the Midday Lycanroc and cleared her throat, and began to sing.

You enter a room lit by a single torch in its center. Six candles line the walls. On the left wall is a green, a red, and a purple candle. On the right wall is a yellow, an orange, and a blue. Each candle is also labeled for the colorblind. A backlit plaque reads: "Do not fear the storm. It comes after."

No Pressure, No Diamond

Singing with three howling Lycanrocs was definitely and odd experience, but she tried her best. And sang her heart out. Even Staccato contributed his adorable little warbling. Sage was slightly out of breath when they finished, but apparently the three Lycanroc really liked it, as they dumped several candies into her hands. She laughed and thanked them, putting the candies away. 

She wished she could jsut stay in that room and not continue on, but she was getting so close to being done, almost there. So she waved goodbye and headed on. 

The next room was dim, but at least there were no scary pokemon, and in fact there were lovely colored lights along the walls. The main inscription on the wall was a riddle.

"Hmm... what comes after the storm..." She slowly walked around the room, looking at all the colors, but also wondering what the central torch had to do with it. Probably nothing, but she wasnt sure. 

Then it hit her. The only thing with that many colors was a rainbow. And that came after the storm! maybe the central torch was like, the sun? She wasnt sure how to complete the puzzle though. Shoudld she move the candles? Were there buttons to choose?

In the end she decided to arrange them in order as closely to the colors of the rainbow as she could. 

From left to right she did Red, Orange, and Yellow on the one side, and then the other side she placed Green, Blue, and Purple. 

Then she stepped back, waiting to see if she had gotten it right.

What will you do?

You enter a long dining hall filled with ornate gleaming furniture and amazing massive paintings lining the walls. Unlike the rooms in the maze, this one feels warm, well-lit, and pristinely maintained, an oddity in what is supposed to be an abandoned home for sure! Several Pokemon come up to you and cheer, taking turns handing over items to you! When they are done, they cheer once more, then your world goes black and you feel like you're spinning. You are suddenly back at the entrance, your prizes still in hand. Seems you weren't welcome to stay long in that private space, but you can rest knowing you've achieved something, and probably seen a glimpse of a life in this house that few others have seen!
