Oh God, Oh God— The Rangers Union gave Mike that? Gabe was laughing now, his shoulders shaking that much more genuinely than before. What did they expect him to do with it? Handle criminals with a song and dance? A hand raised up and wiped a nonexistent tear from his eye.

At the question, though, Gabe cooled a little. “Yeah…” came the answer. “Though actually….” A breath was taken in, and he reached for that power in the back of his mind. His hair swayed a little, and the gold of his eyes became just a little brighter. “I’ve been meaning to practice anyways…” Suddenly the coins and tiny flowers on one of the graves was raised up into the air and remained floating there for a few seconds before hopping over to another grave and falling on top of the other stuff there. Damn how taxing…. Gabe laughed a little.

It had been no secret when they were younger that Gabe had inherited some skills, but he had kept them under wraps now a days for obvious reasons. Here alone in a graveyard with one who already knew what he was, though? Gabe was going to flaunt it as always.

Michael put on a sour expression, waiting for the laughter to subside as Gabe moved onto the task at hand. Watching his brother utilize the kinetic abilities he'd had for years now. "Looks like you've gotten better," he remarked lightly and then went about starting to move other things. "How often to you get to practice, anyway? Man, I wonder why I didn't get abilities like those." Putting on a slightly-exaggerated pout, he took a bouquet and moved it over, snagging the candles on that grave to move to the next.

The Jigglypuff seemed intent in her task, supposedly. It was a little difficult to tell as she floated around like a puffy pink balloon. Michael kept an eye out to make note of both where she was and to see if she was missing anyone entering the cemetery. She really was more trouble than help... but maybe that was part of the Ranger test or something. Who the heck knew?

Gabe grinned a little. Had he, or was Mikie just saying that? Either way, it didn’t matter. At the question, he hummed a little. “Here and there and now and again,” came the playful response. The comment, thereafter, though earned a soft snort. Why hadn’t Mikie (or even Rae?) gotten such powers? “Because I as the strongest inherited them all.” Of course now he felt thin compared to Michael’s form, physique, and stature, but Gabe wouldn’t say that right then.

“….And well….I’ve found a teacher recently out on Plum Island. Not human but a Kadabara now an Alakazam.” How he had managed to catch her, still wasn’t sure. She could read his mind, knew all of his intentions, and still willingly came along with him. Gabe decided if nothing else, it was a stroke of luck.

Gold eyes flicked to a surprisingly well decorated gravestone and stayed there for just a moment before Gabe moved. A hand snatched up all the interesting items on top and pocketed them instead.

Issuing a smirk at the remark about Gabe being the strongest, Michael chuckled. "Sure, sure," he replied as he continued on with their juvenile task. He almost wished they could stick around and see the confused expressions he was sure would be on the faces of the relatives. Then his brother moved on to talking about a Pokemon teaching him.

He looked thoughtful and then nodded, looking mildly impressed. "I guess that does make a lot of sense. I swear your luck is just... absolutely flawless." Shaking his head at that, he looked over to see Gabe taking some of the more unique items and smirked at him. "You're like a freaking Murkrow, aren't you? 'Ooh, shiny. Mine.'." Laughing at the comparison, Michael moved more flowers and such, occasionally glancing at the names on the gravestones. This prompted him to crouch in front of one and just stare at it, contemplating what it would feel like to see a family member's name on one of these.

A soft snicker escaped from Gabe. His luck… was flawless. “At least in one department,” he muttered softly as his features fell again. Little did he know how much worse it was going to get in the next few months. The accusation had him straightening some and smiling right after. “I have a Mukrow now,” he commented fishing out a Pokeball. “Caught him…” A while ago now, actually. Gabe shrugged his shoulders rather than answer.

It was nice… just playing like that… for a little bit, though. However, there would be at least one person coming in soon and he was growing just a teeny bit bored. “….So can I just give you my number… or unblock yours.” He couldn’t remember which he had done now. “And we call it even?” He flashed a small smile sideways.

Michael couldn't help but laugh, considering his brother didn't argue against being a Murkrow himself, just instead mentioned capturing one. "I hope you named him Riel just to match you." Taking his time, he finally moved to shift something else over to a different grave. Looking up to see the Jigglypuff just floating lazily above the cemetery, the short-haired one shook his head.

Looking back to Gabe, he gave a grin and nodded. "Whichever. I think I still have the same number. Taking out his phone, he looked through his contacts to find whatever number he'd had for his brother. "This was nice. Let's just be sure not to go back to being strangers, okay? Don't like... turn around and block my number as soon as I'm out of sight," he half requested and half warned, narrowing his eyes a little at Gabe.

A small puff of air escaped from Gabe at the mention of giving a Murkrow the other half of his name. He was…. kind of mad he didn’t think of that first, actually. Whatever, whatever. “Nah, I got too invested in naming him Crowlie,” Gabe snorted. “Ya seen Good Omens yet?” he asked. “It’s about demons and the end of the world and stuff.” A vicious smile came and went from Gabe’s features right before he laughed again.

Fishing out his phone and checking over what numbers he had on file and which ones he had blocked, Gabe hummed softly. “Alright….” he answered as much to Michael as himself. Scrolling all the way down, he found the number and unblocked it before quickly typing out a message to it. – Boo – A pause. Gabe struggled for a moment before looking up and forcing a smirk. “Or what?” he asked already knowing the answer.
