Gaki had begun tearing up in the snow, sniffling softly, hands grasping at nothing in an attempt to find her phone. Sidra was being kidnapped like princess peach by bowser in every game every, yet Gaki wasn't of high enough level to even be able to attempt to get her back! Her hands moved to grasp onto the snapped off bit of her wings and she sniffled once more, a few seconds off from crying- at least until a hand appeared in her vision. Of course the elf was here, she didn't need his pity! He didn't get to play along where he saw fit! A hand moved to warily grab his as she was hoisted up and she let out a soft huff, well... at least Sidra wasn't kidnapped.
He spoke once more and Gaki just bit down on her lip, averting her gaze. Faintly, the girl mumbled, "...But I wasn't insulting you." before moving to grab at the lead- right... She just.. had to get right back on this stupid Deino who clearly wished for her death- Sid would be concerned for her judgment. But she was stubborn It took a few tries but she managed to get back up- surely she could raise her dragon tamer skill! She settled into a sitting position with Sidra squealing, giggling and all at once nestling back into the girls lap.
This would be fine. "My wings already snapped. Any attempt to fix it will have a very obvious crack showing. I don't even get to rub them in my dads face for how I spent his money." Totally fine.
Upon hearing that 'Kia' hadn't been insulting him, Koray raised an eyebrow. Right. He could argue, or he could just hurry back home where it was warmer and they could talk more. Elanor would be able to help fix the wings, he was almost sure of it. Koray would wait only long enough for 'Kia' to get back on Sauron before taking the lead again. Her argument about the wings not being able to be fixed simply had him smiling back at her. "Is that a challenge? You don't know how skilled I am with things such as these, so I'll forgive the insolence. Focus on the road onward, your wings will be healed in little time at all but I need my tools to do so," Koray explained before holding tight to the Absol.
"Hold on tight to Sauron, we're going to run this last leg of the journey," Koray stated briefly before Freda took off, running as fast as she could towards Koray's house. Sauron, not wanting to be left behind quickly took off as well, making a low growl sound that could very well have been a laugh. He was bound and determined to win this little race!
A challenge?! No! She wasn't posing a challenge, that'd mean she'd have to send out a proper invitation or that there'd have to be some kind of stakes, that's what happened in most games, right?! Gaki furrowed her brows and just huffed, holding tighter to Sauron as Sidra wiggled in her lap, cooing once more- ahhHH she was so cute. "...wait- i'm going to your place?" Is what was said, rather confused- "That... I haven't raised your affection levels enough to even garner trust and lower your defenses, yet!" and he wanted to fix her wing-
Oh, oh mario the dino was speeding up?! A confused shriek left Gaki as she held on tighter to Sauron, eyes widening, she'd pretty much broken the Kia character at this point, and this was?? Outside of games this was scary, Gaki was only trained for in gamed riding! Sidra let out excited squeaks in her lap though, enjoying the ride- but Gaki never showed weakness, weakness didn't exist!
Koray didn't hear Gaki's protests as he sped up. Truthfully, even if he had he certainly wouldn't have acknowledged them. Not when he was on a mission to fix the pixie's wings. He heard the squeak that came after Sauron started running after them. The race of sorts was great fun and Koray wasn't about to stop until after they did indeed get to his place. Sauron stopped and waited for Gaki to get off before the Deino would be returned. Freda however, insisted on remaining by Koray's side in case this ingrate decided to try something.
Motioning for Gaki to follow, Koray stepped into his house and walked the few steps it took to go into his room which almost didn't look like anyone lived in it. It was entirely too clean. Everything had a place, was organized, and put away. A sewing machine was out but even that had a cover on it, not even a speck of dust was seen. Koray would go over to his closet and pull out a box of supplies he primarily used for his dance costumes. Oh, and the robe might help Gaki get warm too. The robe would be carefully pulled off the hanger and placed on the bed thereafter. "Here, if you'd like I could raid my sister's room for a change of clothes but the robe should help you warm up," he would wash it later anyway.
It would only take a moment for Koray to find what he was looking in the box and pull it and the wings over to a table he'd set up precisely for mending outfits. For now, the closet would be left open, revealing the numerous dancing outfits inside, all with at least a little bit of sparkle added to it. Now, as for the crack in the wings... he'd have to file it down and color the acrylic the exact shade as the wings... hmmm... what was the best way to go about doing this? Ah, yes, that would work.
Gaki may have had her eyes squeezed shut for most of that ride, utterly terrified of the ride on an unfamiliar creation. Of course, she'd never admit it, a warrior fairy like herself is never scared of dragons! If it wasn't for the wiggling baby on her lap Gaki probably would have held tightly onto the Deino below her. When all was said and done the duo and their creatures rocked up to a house and Gaki was very very wary... stranger.... this was a stranger and Sid had always said not to go into a strangers house if they were unfamiliar with basic games like Fate Grand Order- they weren't to be trusted! Of course... she had her eyes squeezed shut so unless she enquired further then she wouldn't know her way home, this was.. already far from home...
Ugh! Fine, Gaki found herself with Sidra hugged tightly to her chest, wandering after Koray with a rather uncertain expression. If he even tried something she knew the perfect combo to hurt a guy where they stood! Knee-Knee-Triple Flip! And as she was lead into a really, really... unnaturally cleaned room she felt like she was directly being led into an NPC's room that was under decorated because players were only supposed to grab a key item and go- it didn't feel natural. Of course she didn't want this strange NPC losing more points with her as it stands she might get beaten up or currently be in a trap, and she had to be on guard! Not to mention she was shivering in her sleeveless costume...
Her eyes trailed his movements, cautious, and she was... confused.. as he set out a robe? Uh... Robe... warm... Had he poisoned it?! This was a trap, for sure! Gaki stared at him then back to the robe for a few seconds before very slowly walking to the bed and picking it up, trailing a finger down the fabric as if to test for poison residue... right... okay... for now, she could assume it was safe! The minute she felt further unwell, she'd call Sid! Her pixie wings were very delicately shrugged off and the snapped off bit was gathered from her pouch. She didn't trust this guy not to ruin the wings, and when he mentioned a sisters bedroom Gaki only huffed. No, she wouldn't leave his presence when he was entrusted with her wings. It was risky. Very, very risky.
The wings were handed over and Gaki stood for a moment lingering behind him, game firmly set on him doing his work, for now she didn't speak no thanks,, nothing. She felt off, this was off. This was not a familiar gameplay scenario the events didn't line up! Eyes flickered across the bedroom as she tried to swipe away the thoughts, only to hone in on... th pretty materials in the closet... Her breath hitched...
Could this normie... actually be a cosplayer?! Oh! Oh donkey kong! Eyes fell back to Koray and she began to speak, finally. "...Kia wishes to know if... you cosplay. The materials in the closet are of good quality." Yep. The only way not to snap at him was to revert back to 'Kia', and pretend to be some fairy in need or something.
Whether or not 'Kia' accepted his offer for the robe or for the change of clothes didn't really matter right then to Koray as he focused on trying to do damage control. He was already trying to figure out just the right color he could use to fill the crack. It would take a little bit for the glue to heat up and in the meantime he was already trying to find an alternative way to hide the crack just in case the fix didn't work the way he thought it would. "Would more glitter added to this part be too much? It might tie in the rest of the wings more actually... What do you think?" He didn't want to make any changes without 'Kia's' consent after all.
Except 'Kia' was fascinated by the costumes in his closet and... speaking in 3rd person apparently. Giving a soft laugh, Koray shrugged a little and stood to pull out one of the outfits in question. "I suppose you could say that. I dance, and these are the costumes I've made for myself. It's a lot of work but I enjoy it. Perhaps it wouldn't be much of a leap to do cosplaying as well," Koray said, replacing the outfit before moving back over to the workstation. Ah, the acrylic based seemed to be warm enough now... he just had to work quickly to color it and fill the crack before it dried. Simple enough. At least in theory.
After a sudden chill assaulted her Gaki shrugged on the robe she'd been analysing, wrapping her arms around herself as her gaze lingered on the closet full of sparkly clothing. The elf- errr- Koray's enquiring about her wings had her eyes flicking over to him... would more glitter.... hell no, the more glitter the better! "There can never be too much glitter, if you want to you can even add some to the tips to further match, it'll look... frosted, or whatever." It was a simple statement, and Gaki shrugged after it. She found herself absently walking towards the closet now, drawn in by the pretty fabrics and materials, she'd never been the creative type, she doesn't make cosplays or even know a cross stitch from a normal stitch...
That was Sid's job, and Sid was great at it! She absently thought about snapping a pic to show her cousin but thought better of it, stirring from her thoughts as the male wandered over to show her a blue, icy looking outfit that seemed bedazzled in a sense... was it some sort of magical guy outfit? An OC?? Her brows furrowed, and then as he spoke it all made sense. He was definately a normie. A dancer who made his own costumes.
"If you have the talent to make these, you could make a real profit on cosplay." Kia clicked her tongue then, shifting to glance through the closet with narrowed eyes. "...My cousin makes cosplay outfits, but I doubt you've seen an episode of anime in yor life, or played harvest moon or any basic MMO." It was said bluntly, and just like that Gaki was back to being her usual self, closed off completely.
"...But...if you have, with the aesthetic you've got going it's not a stretch to cosplay some sort of magical boy. There's hardly enough of them at conventions, all the guys go for edgy slick cool stuff when more love needs to go towards such adorable genres." Oh. Oh Gaki sweetie don't start. She took a step away from the genre and gazed around his room, hand coaxing itself through her hair in thought. "...A spellcaster, even. Oh! Maybe you think your colour is blue but I think nature tones could do wonders, the elf thing could still work but with a bit of prosthetics, or body paint vines could easily be worked up the arms to create an illusion of a nature-focused spellcaster, or even a druid!"
Hands movd now, enthusing her words. "But the focus has to be on cute, hear me out- have you ever considered crossdressing?"
Koray smiled to himself when he saw 'Kia' did in fact don the robe he'd offered her. That was good, especially when she stated that there could never be too much glitter. Ah, yes, a frosted look could both mask the crack and make the wings that much more appealing. Maybe by the time he finished with them, they would look even better than the original. One could only hope at the very least considering it had been his own Deino that inadvertently caused the damage. Well, Kia had done that when she'd continued to insult him despite his warning when the Deino was out. Sauron was fiercely protective of him after all and wasn't one to take kindly to insults.
The explanation of the costumes was brief, but one of his favorites was pulled out and displayed for a moment before Koray replaced it once more. He still wore these outfits occasionally after all, there was no need to bring it out now when he wasn't intending to wear it. The compliment of sorts earned a softer smile before Koray would go back to his workbench. The acrylic was warm by that time after all. And... then Kia had to go and ruin it by making an assumption of him that could very well sound like an insult.
Rolling his eyes, Koray quickly switched to a Kantonian dialect, shaking his head at Kia's audacity, "Don't be so quick to judge a book by its cover. I've seen my fair share of anime," he explained, smirking a little at her, "I've seen quite a few anime, Darker than Black or Soul Eater for instance," he continued, starting to use the glue gun to put some of the acrylic on a piece of wax paper. He colored it as quickly as he could before using another tool to place it in the crack. It would take longer to add the glitter to the rest of the wings, but he could use clear glue for that rather than the specialized acrylic.
Kia went on about aesthetic and cosplaying a magical boy among other things. Koray hardly paid attention when he was so focused on the task at hand, but he did perk up a little when she mentioned portraying an elf. He'd never really worked with prosthetics before but figured they shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Ah, watch where you put that tool Koray... focus... It wasn't until Kia mentioned crossdressing that he put down the tool in his hand and gave her a double take. "Tell me you're joking. I don't have the body type to even come close to pulling that off. I'm not sure I can pull off cute, the elf aesthetic's a good idea though. Maybe something similar to Legolas. Ever heard of Lord of the Rings? Not exactly an anime, but it's an amazing series. I must've read the books at least a dozen times."
Hands ran through her hair, still slightly damp. Thankfully, she was able to assume that this wasn't any sort of trap. Sidra at some point had been settled on the bed and was playing around with Koray's cushion, and if that wasn't the cutest think Gaki didn''t know what is. If this Koray was any sort of villain, he would have gone for the attack by now or slipped up, Gaki was excellent at catching slips in dialogue... when... it was written, but still! So it was safe enough to say there was zero ill intent here. Besides, after her little rambling she was now interested to hear what he had to say!
...Eyes widened as he spoke in an off-branch of kantonian, however she quickly forced her surprise down in order to cross her arms. Now the question is, was this guy a full blown weeb or just a casual watcher? Because now Gaki had reccomendations flooding her brain. Switching to kantonian, she was quick to respond. "They're still just starter anime, though my cousin wants to cosplay Soul Eater soon, you just give off normie vibes sooo..." Gaki doesn't apologize, so she didn't. Instead, she moved to get her phone, flicking through it.
"If you're going to watch anime I can send better reccomendations, rather then whatever gateway stuff you've been watching- like, let's talk Pretty Cure, Majokko Tickle, Saint Tail- or even Shugo Chara, of course if you're looking for darker ones there's always Madoka, or there's the classic Sailor moon." Her kantonian was much more fluent than her common, works trickling out of her mouth, it was easy to tell this was her first language, and came out much warmer then her standoffish common.
She trailed off as he worked more, watching him while holding the phone n=in her hand before going on her next rambling, only to pause as his very obvious shock. As he spoke about asking if she was joking she only blinked, the face of a girl who was very, very serious staring at him. "...It doesn't even have to be a female, you could go androgynous. But! I reckon if you slap on a pair of fake tilts, at a little pushin' to the cushion that you obviously lack you could pass off as a decent Sailor Mars. Body type doesn't matter too much when it comes to cosplay so it's unfair to put that into consideration when no ideas have been narrowed down, literally anything is possible!" A nod then, she flicked the phone in her hand absently, it's bnoxious girly appearance not bothering Gaki. "...Lord of the rings..." A pause, then a headshake, "It doesn't sound cute. BUT. If you're going down the elf route, you'd probably fit..." She trailed off, moving to her phone to begin to flick through pictures with surprising speed. "A rogue? A bard... no... maybe... hmm..." She paused to hold up her phone besides Koray's head, squinting from him to the phone for a second. On it sat what looked to be some clothes on a hook, medieval themed with a disasterously insane amount of glitter. "An archer. Unless you multiclass- have you ever heard of LARPing? If you wan't to be an elf, and not cosplay there's always that- lord of the rings sounds like something similar to like... adventurers, right?"
Koray relished in the surprise that was evident in 'Kia's' expression as he swished to the Kantonian dialect he'd learned. Given that he knew several different languages, it was generally easy to surprise those that didn't know him. The fact that it was able to make the girl be quiet, even if it was just for a moment was rather amusing. Though the fact that she thought the darker anime he'd mentioned were considered starter anime had Koray doing a double take. Arceus, what was she going on about?
A Soul Eater cosplay sounded interesting, he was at least a little more familiar with that and... hmm, maybe he could pass as Soul if he found a decent wig or some hair dye. Yeah. Pushing the thought aside for now, Koray narrowed his eyes when he was once again referred to as a 'normie'. "What the hell is 'normie' supposed to mean? The way you say it sounds insulting," if she kept that up he could stop working on her precious wings just as easily.
Returning to his task, Koray largely ignored the list of arguably girly anime that she listed, not really wanting to argue the logistics of it. The acrylic was added to the crack which looked like it matched the color well enough to be near invisible. Good. With that in place he started to lay wax paper on his station to make it easier to catch the glitter and dispose of it later. He was nothing if not concerned about cleanliness after all, especially when it came to his room. The talk about possibly crossdressing was mostly ignored again as Koray concentrated on adding the glitter to the wings. This needed a little more concentration, especially since the glue would still be visible if he added too much. A q tip and some other smaller tools would be used to apply the glue before the glitter would be applied, inch by inch. Every care taken to make sure it looked like it belonged there and was layered evenly.
"Still not going to crossdress, I'm not sold on that," Koray murmured, not really looking up from his work while 'Kia' thought over Lord of the Rings. It was a little shocking to him that she hadn't heard of it and he made a mental note to do a marathon with 'Kia' one of these days. Perhaps when she was being less obnoxious and dismissive about his interests. He would only look up briefly to see the picture 'Kia' showed him only to laugh at the amount of glitter on the costume. "Maybe without near as much glitter as that with a little more earthy tones. As for LARPing, I've heard of it maybe...once? The Lord of the Rings is all about adventures though, I could see playing out a scene from the story or even coming up with your own quests just from that setting alone."
After saying that, Koray's attention shifted back to the wings. He'd done a quarter of the top section of the wing and needed to focus if he was going to get this done in a decent amount of time. More glue would be added, more silver glitter, repeat. He'd probably need to keep the wings so he could do the back as well... hmmm... but there was no guarantee that 'Kia' would be alright with that.
Koray seemed to be concentrating on the wings, which was good! This was like getting a free fix, and she wouldn't have to re-buy the wings for the up and coming convention or... try and make them herself out of wire and plastic last minute! Maybe this dude wasn't too bad, just super uncultured and kind of an ass when it comes to being in character. He didn't seem like he'd be able to keep up in a campaign but Gaki had next to no people up for LARPing in Arciel so she had to keep her options open, especially for recruitment! her farm couldn't go to watse, after all!
Koray's question had Gaki blinking... he... didn't know what... normie meant. Pac-man he really was a normie. Gaki just huffed a little and sat on the edge of his bed, tired of standing up. He was like, accusing her of something, which meant his affection points right now were in the negative and at the rate she was going they were going to lower more and more- which was fine! Gaki didn't need positive acquaintances who she had to teach the basics of literally everything, she was gifted with positives in the patience skill after all. "Normie means Normal." Is all she said, blunt and to the point. She was tired of humouring him anyway.
She began kicking her legs every so often, dangling them off the bed. Despite her obvious love for games and LARPing and costumes which she'd hopefully expressed to Koray in the last few minutes he still refused the idea of crossdrossing which was... really a shame. Gaki was all for cute cosplays and cute girls and she was sure she could make something out of this guy, but if he wanted to cosplay as like... a normal dude, or even dress up as a normal dude... Gaki clicked her tongue, dissapointed.
And... Gaki was... almost enraged as he had the audacity to laugh at what she showed him?! That was a concept costume that somebody had put their heart and soul into! She'd be more offended if it was one of her cousins, but still! Her eyes narrowed and she was right then debating storming out of his damn house when he spoke. "Don't insult somebodies work, first off- if they want a heap of glitter then that's fine but your laughter is crude at best." She pocjeted her phone then and huffed, "There's probably a LARP based off this franchise you speak of. But you're talking more about acting there or recreating- LARP is full imrpov, not recreating scenes. Roleplaying a huge story out- usually original but there are communities who do otherwise."
She crossed her legs then, staring at the work Koray was doing. "There's not much of it in Arciel. Me and my cousin have arrived with a mission to bring it to life here. I'm afraid the rest is classified for normies or whatever, obviously you don't care much for it." Gaki was tired and kinda done... she wondered how her crops were doing.
At the explanation of what normie meant, Koray just shrugged. "You seem to use normie as an insult. Though, I'm hardly what you can call normal," he wasn't going to go into detail, but the way Kia used the word was trying and after the amount of time it seemed she kept insulting him when he was fixing up her wings as a favor? Well, the sooner she left, the better.
More glitter would be added before Koray pulled out a pokeball, enlarging it to release a large Murkrow who cawed, almost immediately being drawn to the now very glittery wings. "Merry, use your wings to dry these a little quicker." Standing up, Koray knew exactly what would happen with all of the loose glitter not attached to glue. Just as Kia started her rant about insulting whatever creator made the outfit, Merry started to flap his wings. As expected, the glitter was sent flying all over Kia and his bed. Sigh, he'd have to vaccuum it all up before he could get to sleep that night but it was well worth it.
Merry perched on Koray's shoulder, content with the job he'd done and wanting to watch his trainer work on the shiny. Kia would continue talking though, explaining about LARP briefly right before stating that she didn't believe he cared for it. He'd said he was interested already, hadn't he? Kia was wearing his last nerve very thing. Who in their right mind would continue to insult someone that was actively helping them? Apparently this one. Kia was very lucky that Koray hated leaving jobs half finished...
Testing the glue on the wings, Koray turned them over and started the same process over again. "I don't understand you." he muttered, working on the wings again for a few moments before trying to speak again. "You continue to insult even when I'm actively helping you. Then when you explain something you're clearly interested in, you backhand me with another assumption that I would never be interested in it. What gives you the right to decide what someone else thinks or believes? What gives you the right to label anyone as normie? Or look down on them because they don't understand something that is so innate to you? It's like criticizing a baby Pokemon because they don't know a move that their older counterparts do. It's just not done."
A few breaths would be taken before another shake of his head. "I was interested, but if that's how you're going to act even after I've shown you that I have a background in dance which includes costumes and makeup? Nevermind that I'm taking the time to fix your wings which, need I remind you, were broken in the first place because you didn't heed my warnings about Sauron. With everything in mind, why do you insist on continuing to berate and demean for something I would like to learn about? I am not a simpleton, and won't listen to you talk down to me just because I don't have the same innate knowledge you do."
As far as Koray was concerned, he would fix the damnable wings for Kia and then never look back. Who cared if LARP sounded like fun, if she was going to continue like this, he didn't need to know about it.
Normie as an insult? Technically she was totally using it as an insult, how could she respect this plebian who started off by literally ruining LARPing and who seems to look down on her? He had no respect for Gaki, that was sfor sure, so she had no respect for him! She couldn't wait to go home and go off at Sid about him, really. Sure, sure he was fixing her wings, but he was acting as if she'd just condemed his pokemon to death.
Gaki'd had enough of this dude. She aputtered nd coughed a little as one of his pokemon used his wings to push excess glitter right in her direction, and for a second the girl really had to wonder... what the hell is it with people and assaulting her with glitter!? Her cheeks reddered and her hand moved to push it off her hair- and- oh thank arceus she was wearing this dudes robe or whatever, she would have had a heartattack if it got on her dress. "Oi?!" Was her response.
She was in shock, at least for a second. Almost immediatly she stood up to brush excess glitter up, while Sidra, who was also on the bed let out a stuttered whimper, some of the glitter having surprised her and gotten into her eye. Gaki was quick to go over to her she picking her up once more, brushing the glitter off her hands that'd landed on them and quickly working to gently wipe the glitter away from Sidra.
She barely paid any mind as Koray began to lecture her. She didn't give a shit. He was like a elf turned low level boss who she could win against just by ignoring him, honestly. He said he didn't understand her, even though she'd made it painfully damn obvious every single one of her thoughts and had tried her best to educate him on LARP culture and terms he didn't understand, and now he's acting like she's in the wrong?
He could go choke on a power-up mushroom and perish. She didn't care. She worked to gently snuggle the pokemon to her chest and Koray spoke and worked, he sounded fed up, sure, he could be fed up, she didn't care. She didn't care.
What were those techniques Sid taught her again? Breathing? Who needed to breathe anyway. Probably Gaki, definately Gaki. The more Koray spoke the redder Gaki got. Sidra was attempting to reach a small hand out and work it through some loose strands of Gaki's hair to calm her down but as Koray finished? Gaki turned around to face him.
She was fuming. She was pissed. "I'm not fucking insulting you- how many goddamn times do I have to make msyelf clear?" Looks like the breathing techniques didn't work. She felt as if raiders had just made themselves home in her base without properly making the stakes clear for an attack. "I literally just explained the whole LARP thing to you- or were you just deaf because I called you a normie, is your brain just that fucking short on cells? That was an insult, by the way, because it seems like we're stooping that that level now, huh?"
Gaki was a fighter. She was a berserker. Gaki didn't back down from a fight. Sidra let out another gently cry and tugged at Gaki's hair once more, and Gaki took a breath, running a hand over the pokemons form. "My wings were broken because you forced somebody unexperienced with dragon riding on a dragon, i'm not a ridier class which is fucking obvious. You all but kidnapped Sidra and treated me and my words like a joke, you belittled the LARPing community as a fucking whole, mind you." A step now, closer.
"And excuse me for having my fucking guard up when i'm inside a strangers home who's taken possession of my wings- sure- you're fixing it- but how am I to know you're not going to pulla twist villain on me?" Her eyebrows furrowed, "I don't know you. And you haven't earned my fucking respect or trust when you act like every little thing I say to you is a direct attack- have you ever played an MMO? An RPG? Normie isn't a fucking insult- you can't go a round without a fucking slander against your goddamn name. It's fucking normal."
Gaki didn't usually swear but she was pissed. "I'm not berating or demeanign you- i've explained that. Do I look like I have ill fucking intent? I get you don't have the fucking knowledge, I acknowledge that shit and i'm trying to guide you through the fucking tutorial." A small shake of her head where she lifted Sidra up and kept her whole focus on the pokemons pink features, her gentle, yet worried face. Sidra. Sidra. Good Sidra.
"So yeah, you're a fucking normie. We've all been fucking normies. I'm a normie in a new game i'm starting up- I don't need to be lectured from somebody who doesn't know me- somebody who just met me and will never see me again after this about how to treat others." There was a shift, the girl lowering Sidra to the ground and blowing more glitter from her hair before she moved to grab at her bag, a wallet was grabbed with a picture of her and a white haired cousin on the back. "I'll pay you for fixing them. I don't need your charity if you think it's all on me. You can hold that above my fucking head and I don't want that."
Koray was beyond done and was focusing on his work to try and finish this as quickly as possible. Of course that was a little hard to do given how quickly "Kia" started to go off on him. Most of it was dismissed as a child throwing a temper tantrum but he'd let her throw her fit before responding. It was admittedly a little hard to continue working on the wings while she kept berating him (and then claimed she wasn't, ha) but for the most part, Koray was able to shut out the noise.
He'd was almost done putting the finishing touches on the wings when she mentioned that he forced her to ride Sauron. Koray couldn't hold back the scoff this time as he rolled his eyes. Whatever, Kia's narrative was twisted and painted him as the bad guy in all of this because of course she did. What, did she liken everything to a video game? This was bizaare to say the least of things, and the way she defended the term normie was ridiculous. The term was demeaning no matter how you said it. Perhaps it was a good thing he was so used to being treated like trash. Maybe it wasn't a good thing that he expected most to treat him this way, but it helped protect him, in a way if he expected it. Words didn't hurt as much if he expected the worst.
"I did hear what you said about LARP. But you dismissed me when I said I was interested. Nobody forced you to get on Sauron. I've said normie is an insult because I take it as such. Stop calling me one," Koray sighed, waving away the offer of Pen when he caught sight of the picture in her wallet. I recognize him... How did someone as ill-tempered as Kia know Sid? It was enough to make him stop short. "How do you know Sid?"
Gaki puffed her cheeks when he not only refused her money, but he also basically ignored everything she said, attempting to prove her wrong when she was obviously in the right. What was this elfs deal!? Normie literally meant normal, how is that an insult? Pac-man, he was probably lower then normie, like, he was at the level of a noob. A noob who played on the easiest setting possible on video games- who played on seedling mode in story of seasons because they cant make decent money.
“Shut up, Normie.” Was her only response. She would literally tuck Penn under his doorstep if given the chance so this couldn’t be waved at her. “I’ve stated my case, and if you’re not going to acknowledge me or understand points I’ve brought up I’m done.” She’d put Penn in the mailbox later. She was seconds from pulling her wallet back when he spoke.
And Gaki’s scowl got wider. Oh. Oh. he knew Sid. Ws he… a friend of Sid?! Sid hadn’t told her about meeting any idiotic noobish elves! Was… was Sid keeping secrets!? Many thoughts cycled through Gaki’s head at that time, and all she could do was blink dumbly for a second before roughly pocketing her wallet. “Sid’s my c- healer.” She almost broke character! Not that she hadn’t done that a million times, but she was still Kia in this guys eyes! Not Gaki!
“My healer. Why? How do you know Sid.” A blink, “…What’s your relation to them? A patient? A thief?”
