Freya had left Cedar Town after a few days of staying there. She had hatched her Eevee, while playing music for it. She had even earned some many from it. All in all, it was a fun trip, and she was likely to go back one day. Though, she knew that she needed to continue on with her journey. This meant going forth on the path from Cedar to Bass. The route would take a good bit to get through, but with her pokemon by her side, she knew that she'd get through it. Not to mention the fact that she had a few more eggs that she was taking care of as well. She had received her the two eggs that she had in her bag were from other people she had decided to trade some of her pokemon with. She was sure that she would love the way they turned out, but as of right now, they were just eggs.
So, as she walked down the road, she sent out her Bounsweet, and took her into her arms. She held her with a lot of love as she said to her, "Hey Bounsweet, I hoped you liked the amount of rest you got. Our journey is going to be a lot more tiring than the last one. I have no doubts that the pokemon here will be stronger, but we can do this together. You, me, and the rest of our friends." With that, Freya smiled.
As Freya was talking to Bounsweet, she came across an adorable looking pokemon. It seemed to be a bit scared of the group of people there as it tried to hide in plain sight. It's big hand like things were covering its face, trying to not be seen by Freya. Of course, Freya could see the pokemon, but she pretended not to. She tried to play along with the pokemon saying things to Bounsweet like, "Wow, I can't believe there aren't any pokemon for miles. It's almost like all of them went out into hiding. Well Bounsweet, I guess we better move on." With that, she pretended to frown as she walked forward.
However, Bounsweet wasn't as smart as Freya was, so she questioningly said to Freya, "Bounsweet boun?" pointing to the 'hiding' pokemon. Freya that put her mouth next to Bounsweet and shushed her as quietly as she could. Although Bounsweet was still confused by the action, she shrugged and just went with whatever Freya was doing. Freya then gave the Bounsweet a thumbs up as she passed the Clobbopus. .
After encountering the pokemon from before, Freya had walked forward normally. The day was cloudy, and Freya was enjoying how pleasant it was. As she walked through the area, she looked over to see a Shellos enjoying the area. It was laying down on the ground, snoozing the day away. Seeing this, Freya had become extra quiet, hoping to not wake up the shellos. She was afraid of what would happen if she had woken it up, but the more scared she got, the further away she got as well. So, her fears were soon gone, and she was going back to walking normally.
As Freya was walking along the path, she heard footsteps coming from behind her. It was weird though. It didn't really sound like a pokemon or anything. It seemed as though it was a person who was just casually walking down the path like she was. Freya then turned around to see who it was. It was a trainer, and his arms were on the back of his neck as he looked up at the sky. He seemed to be pretty bored. Noticing Freya watching him, he smiled his way. She then saw his eyes glimmer with inspiration as he ran up to her saying, "Hey, would you like to battle with me. Things have gotten pretty quiet along this road. The pokemon have been getting pretty jumpy around here. A battle would probably liven things up a bit, wouldn't you say?" With that, Freya thought about everything's she'd seen so far and nodded her head in agreeance. "Yeah, I guess you're right. A pokemon battle would be pretty fun!" She then smiled a gentle smile.
Although Freya didn't really like confrontation all too much, it didn't mean that she didn't enjoy a pokemon battle. After all, her journey wasn't going to last forever, so she might as well battle every person she could. This trainer seemed like he'd be fun to train with. So, as the two of them went to two separate sides of the path, they both nodded their heads. The battle then started as two pokemon appeared onto the field. On Anakin's side was a Hawlucha, and on Freya's side was Clamperl.

With Clamperl on the field, Freya looked at the confused pokemon and said to her, "Hey Clamperl, the trainer on the other side of the path wanted to do a pokemon battle. Are you up for it?" As she asked this, Bounsweet tried to convince the pokemon as well. Though, it didn't take too much convicing to get the pokemon to agree. After all, the two of them were her bestest friends. So, with the Clamperl ready, and the other trainer seeming to be ready as well they had begun.
This was Freya's first battle ever, and she wasn't too sure on how well she'd do. With someone acting on strategy more than instinct, this was going to be a change for her. Though, she might as well start now rather than whenever she has to actually battle someone in a contest. The first move went to the Hawlucha as it's trainer screamed out, "Hawlucha, use hone claws, then immediately go into a tackle." The pokemon agreed as it's claws glowed with a brilliant light. Then, it began running towards Clamperl. Thinking quick on her feet, Freya said to Clamperl, "Clamperl, hurry and use iron defense!" With that, the pokemon ran into the clamperl with no effect. As Clamperl kept closed, the Hawlucha consistently tried to hit through the clam pokemon's defenses.
However, Freya knew that it wasn't going to happen. So, Freya waited for the perfect moment before yelling out, "Clamperl, use clamp on the Hawlucha." Once she did, the Hawlucha rushed forward, only to be clamped onto Clamperl's shell. The Hawlucha exclaimed out in pain, allowing Freya to say another move. "Use water gun!" With this, Clamperl opened up her shell to let out a blast of water in the Hawlucha's face. The pokemon was then launched off, face planting into the ground. Dust was now floating around it, and with both trainers not knowing what was happening, they anxiously held their breaths. After the dust cloud cleared, it was revealed that Hawlucha was down.
Anakin smiled awkwardly at the sight, as he called back Hawlucha. Rubbing his head, he said to Freya, "Wow, that's a nice pokemon you have there. Though, I don't know if you'll fair too well against my next pokemon." As he said this, he sent out his Oricorio. Even though Freya loved Clamperl, she had decided to send her back for a different pokemon. With Clamperl back in her ball, she sent out her Ponyta, who was ready for action.

This was the first time Freya had really battled with the Ponyta. She had hatched it from its egg, during one of her training days with Bounsweet and Clamperl. After that, she trained with the pokemon, trying to get it to their level. Now, she was going to try and test its skills to see how well it would fair in battle. Since Bounsweet and Clamperl were going to be her pokemon for the appeal round, it meant that she would need to use Ponyta for her battle round, especially with it being her only other trained up pokemon. With that in mind, she knew that she needed to test the pokemon's skills.
Freya was caught off guard last round, but this time she was going to be quicker than him. So, she said aloud to Ponyta, "Quick Ponyta, use flame charge on the Oricorio!" The ponyta then ran as it's direction was given. However, the other trainer thought ahead a lot quicker, because as the ponyta was running, the trainer called out to the oricorio, "Oricorio, jump above the ponyta and use peck." The pokemon did as it was told, and with some pep in her step, she did a front flip above the Ponyta, quickly doing a peck on it's back before raising its hands in the air and congratulating itself.
The Ponyta skidded as it winced in pain. However, it shook it off quickly, waiting for its next command. Freya wasn't sure what to do though. For a pokemon to be as quick as it was, Freya would need to come up with a strategy that would defeat it. Luckily, one came right in time, because as the trainer was calling out for it's next move, Freya called out hers. She called for another flame charge while the other trainer called for a pound. As the two were about to collide, Anikan used the same tactic as he did before. However, Freya was ready for it this time. With the pokemon up in the air, Freya called out to Ponyta, "Quick, use ember on the pokemon!" Oricorio being in the air meant that it wasn't going to go any faster than it could. The pokemon couldn't exactly fly, so it was stuck where it was at the velocity it was going. So, as the ponyta shot out a ball of flame, the pokemon began falling to the ground. In one quick move, the ponyta then came back around and used flame charge on it.
The pokemon had then fainted as the trainer said back to Freya, "Wow, if I keep going, I'll be out of pokemon. You know, you're a pretty good trainer. I hope to see you again one day, but until then I've gotta go. I don't have that many healing resources on me, so I need to save them up before I run out. Thanks for making this more interesting though." The trainer then walked away before Freya could say anything, leaving her and her pokemon behind.

After the battle was over, Bounsweet had started moving around in Freya's arm. She was searching around for something. This wasn't really like her. Usually she wanted to stay with Freya, but now she wanted to run off. Considering what happened last time, Freya decided to let Bounsweet guide her rather than letting her free. So, as she moved along with the pokemon's nudges, she had come across a berry bush. This one seemed to hold Leppa Berries. Although most of them were gone, there were still some left for them to take. Bounsweet leaped out of Freya's arms and then attacked the bush, taking a bite out of one of the three berries, leaving only 2 for Freya to save for a rainy day. Taking them from the bush, the Bounsweet frowned, only to be excited again for adventure.
As Freya continued to walk down the road, she saw as a wimpod crossed by her. They seemed to be happily walking along, so Freya decided that she shouldn't really mess with the pokemon. Bounsweet had a different idea, however, as she jumped out of her trainer's arms and talked to the little pokemon. As the two talked, they smiled and laughed, ending in a short goodbye as Bounsweet came back to Freya. Once she did, they went back to the road.
As Freya and Bounsweet turned back to the road, they saw a pokemon in the middle of it. It seemed to be a Zangoose, and it was not happy with the two of them. It seemed irritated for some reason, and Freya didn't really understand way. Though, as she looked into its eyes, she could tell what the reason had to be. The pokemon seemed to be tired, as though it wasn't get as much sleep as it usually would. With the Bounsweet and Wimpod being as loud as they were, it must've kept the zangoose up, or it might have woken it up from its slumber. Freya understood why the pokemon would naturally be angry at the two of them, but before she could try and talk it out with the pokemon, it lunged out at her.
As this happened though, Bounsweet looked up and put on a face of bravery as she went forward, trying to block the attack while using rapid spin. Surely enough, the pokemon's claws bounced off of the spinning pokemon. With Bounsweet continuing it's pursuit forward, the Zangoose was hit by the attack as it flew back. It winced in pain as it felt where Bounsweet had hit it. It seemed to be a bit more irritated at this, causing it to lash forward one more time. Bounsweet once again tried to counteract it's attack with razor leaf. This time though, it was a bit more prepared as it rapidly slashed through each of the leaves that were shot out. It's final slash had hit Bounsweet, as the fruit pokemon cried out. However, it shook of the pain this time.
Freya then yelled out to the Bounsweet and said to it, "You can do this Bounsweet! I believe in you. Use that move that we had learned from before!" With that, the pokemon nodded its head in agreeance as it used rapid spin and razor leaf. The rapid spin caused the razor leaf to go out in all directions while increasing its velocity. It was as though the pokemon was a spinning fan, and the zangoose was caught in it. After being hit with the leaves coming from the spinning pokemon, the Zangoose seemed to give up as it flew off into the distance.
Freya was saddened by this, knowing that the only reason it attacked them was due to Bounsweet's rambunctiousness. So, Freya knelt down at Bounsweet and said to her, "Good job Bounsweet, you did really good out there. Though, I want you to be a bit more careful. That pokemon that just attacked us, attacked us because you were being a bit too loud. I know you love making new friends, but make sure that you aren't disrupting other pokemon that are around you, got that?" With that, the pokemon nodded its head as its face transformed into a guilty one. Of course Freya wanted to comfort her, but she knew that the pokemon would learn its lesson quickly, and that it would go back to its happier self. After all, that's the nature of the huge pokemon.

Freya had decided to stop for a few moments, hoping to rest her feet. She was actually a bit tired, considering all the things that had happened, with her encounter with that trainer, and then the zangoose attacking her and Bounsweet. All she really wanted to do was sit down for a few seconds with the two eggs that she had received from before, and try to eat something. As she did, she heard rustling coming from a bush, as a Snivy came out of it. It seemed to be sniffing around for food, and its direction went right towards the one that Freya had made for herself before she left Cedar. It was made of a bunch of different fruits and yogurt. It was quite a tasty dish, and it seemed like the Snivy wanted a piece of it.
As it got closer, it looked prepared to fight Freya for the food, but the girl laughed at the sight of the Snivy trying to be tough. She said to it, "Hey little guy, you don't need to fight me for a bite. I know that pokemon like you need fruits and vegies to stay strong. So, take a seat right here, and I'll split it with you. While you're at it, you can talk to my Bounsweet as well. We're pretty good company. Bounsweet really likes to make friends, so I hope you enjoy talking to her!" With that, she split the sandwich in half and took a bite of it, giving the other half to the Snivy. As the Snivy chewed on it, he happily talked with Bounsweet. The both of them laughed through the next 15 minutes as the Snivy had begun to finish up his food.
However, before he left, Freya had asked the pokemon a question, "Hey Snivy, how would you like to join me and Bounsweet on an adventure? I already have a few other pokemon on my team, and would like for you to join it too. We're going around the world, and trying to spread the beauty of it around. I myself am a specialist in grass type pokemon, so I'd keep good care of you!" With that, she got closer to the snivy and booped it on the head with a pokeball, seeing if the pokemon had put its faith in her.

After a few moments, Freya watched as the Snivy broke free of the ball, as it ran away from Freya and Bounsweet. Before it ran though, it hit the ball out of Freya's hand, breaking it in the process.Watching all of this unfold, Freya frowned at the sight. It seemed as though the pokemon was just dining and dashing rather than actually wanting to be friends with Freya and Bounsweet. This saddened her pokemon as well, but Freya picked her up and said to her, "Hey Bounsweet, don't worry about it. You are an amazing pokemon, and that Snivy was just a big meanie. Okay?" The pokemon nodded, and then perked itself back up again as it sat down right next to where Freya.
Freya then took out the eggs she had been keeping in her bag, and said to Bounsweet, "Hey Bounsweet, how about you play with these eggs for a tiny bit? Though, don't be too rough with them. After all, they are just pokemon eggs. They just need a little affection rather than a huge amount." The Bounsweet happily agreed to the request as it played around to the eggs, and it seemed like the eggs were enjoying it as well. They were swaying along with the Bounsweet, which the Bounsweet found fun.
