[Gilbert Moss]

Route two was not all that different from route one, that's what Gilbert was discovering. Pulling up his bag he looked around for a quick moment to see if he could see any pokemon. The only difference about this place was the few urban area's around. Small villages bordering the lands, though they were either abandoned or inhabited by very few sweet occupants. Gilbert only had Nancy by his side at the moment, he planned on bringing out his more weaker pokemon for this adventure. A lot of it was about training them, birb was just too powerful compared to the rest and he wanted the rest of his team to get their blood pumping. After all if he trained them to be strong pokemon and then bred them, he could sell them off to other trainers looking to challenge the gyms.

"Ah do you see anything Nancy?" Gilbert asked the ditto as they jiggled in response. The wilds seemed oddly quiet right now but that was usually a sign that something was coming. Gilbert would be prepared, with his team as it was he thought maybe he could get some good things rolling. The breeder grinned as Nancy searched the horizon for a potential sparring partner. The waves just ahead rolling calmly with the soft wind.

Gilbert watched Nancy spot something in the water. It seemed to be a strong looking Bruxish who was doing some jumps to and fro in the waves. While Gilbert would have loved to let Nancy out on it, it was just too strong of a pokemon. That and he didn't want to bring Birb out just yet because she would end up hogging all of the fights. He shook his head and patted the Ditto on their head. "Come on Nancy Let's try to find something else shall we? I don't have any quick balls on me and it doesn't really look all that friendly." He'd heard Bruxish were a bit rash with their decision making and a bit aggressive. He best leave it be for now. "Let's look for something a bit weaker." he led the shiny Ditto across the hills.

Once the Bruxish seemed far enough away Gilbert looked at his pokeballs for a moment. He brought out Chime for a change, the weepingbell seemingly facing him with his gaping mouth. Gilbert smiled at his grass type pokemon. Wiggling his leaves as he came up to Gilbert almost demanding a pat on the head. Chime was an affectionate little pokemon Gilbert was finding. "Let's see what route two has to offer us hmm, maybe we'll catch a few friends along the way." he wanted to climb the route's a bit faster than he had been.

Tl;dr: Gilbert fled the Bruxish.

Oh so that's how it was going to be! A strong looking Azumarill had decided to come out of the water. From the looks of it, much stronger than Chime or Nancy would be able to handle. He hadn't intended on using Birb on this trip unless they absolutely needed to and running again from another pokemon felt wrong. Then he remembered he had a couple of quick balls still attached to him. He wasn't actually sure how well they worked against a higher leveled pokemon but he wanted to try. Gilbert was convinced that he didn't want to startle the pokemon either, he would make an attempt to befriend the pokemon or at least let them know what was happening.

"Hey there!" the man said in a chipper tone. Obviously catching the wild pokemon's attention. However upon her seeing his companions she quickly seemed to want to retreat back to the water. Not a fighter then? "Oh no I'm not here to hurt you." Gilbert made an attempt to use a soft tone, a grin plastered on his face like usual. He crouched and pulled a quick ball out of his pocket, he best use it quickly or the affects wouldn't be as strong as they could be.

"This will be fast see? I'm not a trainer it's okay! I'm a breeder." The Azumarill stared at him and the pokeball a bit curiously. Tilting her head off to the side. As Gilbert gently threw the ball forward, the yellow and blue ball shook in the sand. The Azumarill felt the ball touch her leg, calmly she watched as the red light sucked her inside. Gilbert wasn't sure if she had been confused or willing? Either way he watched eagerly as the ball shook back and forth. Just in case he had his hand on Birb's pokeball at his hip.

Tl;dr: Gilbert threw quick ball at the Azumarill!

The pokemon had been caught succesfully. Gilbert was excited about that as he jumped up and clapped his hands. Walking over to pick up the ball now as Nancy slithered closer to him. Chime flickered his leaves for a moment as Gilbert tried to get settled as he placed the ball into his backpack. It was then that two more pokemon had come up out of the works. Catching him by surprise was an oricori and a slowpoke. However Gilbert knew that they were far too strong for Nancuy and Chime to handle. He had wanted to train them and he refused to bring out his lower leveled pokemon as for the time being they had too much training to begin with.

Regardless perhaps he should go home and recuperate anyway. There was lots to decide and lots to think about. He returned Chime and Nancy to their pokeballs and began to walk the path back to the city. Leaving the two new pokemon behind to do whatever it was that they were doing. It was easy enough since he wasn't provoking them. Besides Gilbert was getting a bit hungry.
