Route two was finally here! Kimmy was jumping with excitement today, it had been a whole lot of fun recovering back at the town but now she was ready to move on. There was something about trying to get to the first gym and possibly maybe cause some trouble along the route. She was getting anxious, Digger could see it as the pokemon walked by her side. She had the rest of her team curled up in their pokeballs as they made their way down the path. It wasn't too much different from route one, but Kimmy didn't care she wanted to train and get stronger as quickly as possible.

Turning to Digger though she stopped, "We're gonna try something different today okay. So if you see any trainers keep an eye out." at least if they had anything interesting on them. Clearing her throat they continued and Kimmy looked across the land to see if she could spot anything worthy of her interest. Trainer or wild it didn't matter to her. She was hyper today and was rearing to go if something exciting happened.

Kimmy looked over at the Nincada for a moment as it moved around in the grass. She wasn't sure if she wanted to fight such a weak looking pokemon. Well to be fair she had some rare candies in her bag and as such had fed them to her pokemon. Well it didn't matter she was going to let the pokemon be. "Let's go team." she spoke to the pokeballs as she turned and went in the opposite direction of the pokemon. She didn't want to waste her time fighting weak pokemon nor did she want to catch anymore types like the Komala. Not unless they were of value to her. She wasn't a collector of pokemon to say and she only wanted to make sure her team grew strong for the gym battles ahead. Also for the crime that she wanted to commit. 

"Let's see here" she looked towards the beach. Water types. No those wouldn't be any good not against Blaze at least. Kimmy placed her heands on her sides and sighed. She was going to have to look up more match types for sure. Well today was the day to train mind and body anyway. As she stretched she continued to search for her next awaiting victim. 

Tl:dr: Kimmy fled the nincada.

Finally a pokemon popped up that seemed worthy! The corsola was a prime candidate for a fight and Kimmy was more than excited about it. As she took Digger's pokeball and tossed him out. Digger let out an exclaimed cry as he landed on the ground. Kimmy smiled at him, "Alright digger use Tackle on that Corsola it's show time." Kimmy pointed to the wild pokemon drawing its attention. The corsola turned as Digger slammed into it. The corsola was thrown back and in anger retaliated the attack with a bubble beam. The bubbles popped on his face causing him to push back. "Alright Digger hit him with a leer." Kimmy told him as the stufful raised himself and narrowed his eyes at the pokemon. 

The Corsola shivered for a moment before moving forward, tossing an aqua ring at his opponent. Digger was strong against these sorts of things grunting as he moved backwards. "Stomping tantrum!" Kimmy clenched her fist there was nothing more exciting than a pokemon battle for her. The rush of it in her veins as Digger jumped forward flailing his limbs to hit the wild pokemon with the hard hit. The corsola was starting to get tired but as the bubble beam hit Digger he was barely phased now. "Finish it off with a tackle" as Digger moved forward the Corsola fell back. Falling into the water as it fainted and drifted away. Kimmy exclaimed in excitement as she moved forward and grabbed Digger hugging him.

It felt like she was making it a habit to hug Digger whenever he defeated a pokemon. However it was extra training for him for sure. After all it got him used to her touch considering he hated being in contact with anyone else. Not to mention that it was important to reward your pokemon when needed. Kimmy gently placed him down and Digger lifted his head parading around like this was the most important victory he'd ever had. Well she couldn't wait for him to enter the gyms because she wanted to see him thrive. That went for her other pokemon as well, raising Blaze as it was made her excited when he would flourish to his full fighting fire form when he evolved. In the midst of her thoughts though she heard something turning in the grass to see a strange glint around an abandoned building.

The urban area of route 2 was something she had yet to explore. Digger followed her as she followed the jingling, running almost directly into all the Klefki's. Kimmy was a bit surprised and second of all impressed. The horde seemed to have collected quiet the pile of things. Shiny things, pokeballs, you name it. "Woah." she whispered as she crouched suddenly. Those Klefki's must have stolen these things! There was no way they had gotten it on their own. That was when she noticed it, the huge Klefki at the front of the pile. It was subtle but she had made it a note to learn the shiny forms of most pokemon. The shiny Klefki's blue bangle that hung from its body was clear to her and she grinned. She was not a fan of fairy types but a shiny was definitely in her interest.

She didn't know if Digger would have the energy to take down all the Klefki's. Not to mention it gave a chance for the shiny to escape. Kimmy stood then and cleared her throat. "Hey!" she shouted. Turning the jangling of keys towards her. She pointed to the shiny pokemon, "Are you a thief?" she exclaimed. The keys seemed to become startled. Angirly starting to jingle as Kimmy then pointed to herself. "Me too." she grinned hoping that this would calm them some. It did seem to grab the shinies attention. As Digger narrowed his eyes looking at Kimmy in confusion. She couldn't be serious right but if she wanted to catch the shiny she might as well try to recruit it peacefully before jumping into action.

The horde seemed to let her approach their leader though. The shiny giant Klefki was curious after she had announced herself as a fellow thief. Kimmy took it upon herself to look at his pile. "I'm impressed." she noted genuinely as she looked at him. He seemed suspicious of her but she shook her head. "I'd never dream of stealing another thief's loot. In fact I find it kind of cool." she grinned. Turning to him and pulling out an ultra ball. "In fact - you see I'm trying to start a band. Join me and you'll be able to steal all you want! Not to mention get fame." She turned the ball around. She was not a big fan of fairy types, she told herself this because recently she'd had horrible luck with pokemon she wanted to catch. But whatever - he was worth a lot. If they didn't get along she'd pass him onto someone else. Though deep down she knew she wouldn't be able to do that. If the shiny Klefki came with her she probably wouldn't let it go.

"If not I guess I'll be on my way." She said as she pulled the ball back. However the enticement of thieving pulled the shiny forward. It clicked the ball and got sucked inside. The gang of keys moved back, watching in curiosity as they waited to see the fate of their leader. Some didn't seem too happy about the events but with the respect they had, they all stood by to see the decision that the ball had set out for them.

Tl:dr: Kimmy attempt to befriend the shiny Klefki, she uses an ultra ball.

After she had captured their leader, the Klefki seemed to be frenzied. They jingled about angirly and Kimmy would have thought they'd leave her alone but they seemed ready for a fight. Kimmy looked at Digger and clicked out another pokeball. Max came out looked ready for a fight as well. He put up his paws and it made Kimmy giggle for a moment as she patted him on the head. "Alright Digger, run in there with a Stomping Tantrum watch out for their attacks Focus on that one and that one." She pointed to two of the stronger pokemon. Digger nodded his head - going for the weaker one first. The level nineteen Klefki didn't know what was coming to it. The stufful shot forward swinging his arms in his Tantrum as he slammed his feet against the ground. Slamming directly into the bundle of keys as they staggered backwards from what seemed like a critical hit. However it was still a level higher than Digger quickly recovering and lashing back out. Using Tackle against Digger as Kimmy watched carefully. "Tackle back!" she said as Digger complied. While the Klefki attempted to use Draining Kiss it was no match for the Stufful. "Stomping Tantrum finish it." at least for that one as the Klefki promptly recoiled back but was replaced by another.

This one hit Digger with a draining kiss once more he bounced back instantly. "Leer!" Kimmy ordered as Digger did as he was told, the Klefki hit him with a tackle but after that Kimmy clenched her fist. "Give it your best tantrum!" she called as Digger shot forward with his flailing limbs forcing the Klefki backwards. As it tried to use Draining Kiss again Digger was too fast for it, moving off to the side as the Klefki shot forward. "Now finish it off with a tackle!" Kimmy watched as Digger took out the second Klefki and she called him back. It was Max's turn and it was clear that he was ready.

"Use Bite Max" Kimmy told the Riolu and he went after the weakest Klefki first. The poor thing staggers and confused. Hitting Max with a feeble astonish, "Finish it off with Quick attack." Swiftly the Riolu took out the Klefki and turned to the more dangerous one but it didn't matter it was nothing he couldn't handle. The Klefki had the first attack of course, hitting Maz with Astonish. He was surprised by the force compared to the weaker pokemon before but he did not faulter. Patiently waiting for Kimmy to give him his next move. Kimmy was into it now she had captured the leader but now the followers were getting on her nerves. "Hit him with a Quick attack!" she said as Max moved forward at such a speed it was impossible to dodge. The Klefki was thrown backwards, immidiatly turning around and using Draining Kiss. "Quick Counter!" Kimmy clenched a fist as Max took the energy from the attack to kick the Klefki hearing him jingle in confusion. The Klefki stood there for a bit before tackling the Riolu but Kimmy could tell this next attack would finish it. "Use bite!" Max jumped forward using his harsh teeth down on the Fairy type. The Klefki retreated like the rest, exaughsted and probably to collapse somewhere.

"Good job gang.... let's say we continue?" she was filled with energy now that she got a shiny! She still wasn't sure what to do with him since his group of Klefki's had annoyed her but she would see in time. Walking outside of the building back onto the grass patches Digger and Max followed in suit.

After that rush with the Klefki, Kimmy wasn't sure what she wanted to do. With Max and Digger just at her heals they made their way down to the shores. "I'm kind of tired of seeing the ocean don't you think?" she said looking down to the two pokemon. Digger agreed with a nod of his head but Max was confused. Kimmy spend her childhood on an island she couldn't wait to get deeper into Arciel. What sorts of pokemon waited for her there. Not.... A krabby. Kimmy sighed when she watched the pokemon crawl out of the water. Snapping its claws as she stared almost uninterested. But when it snipped at Digger the stufful became irritated. Kimmy narrowed her eyes then.

"You want a fight do you?" she asked as she cracked her knuckles. "Okay then, Digger use tackle!" With them being so close when the stufful collided his head with the krabby's hard exoskeleton the pokemon slid back in the sand and let out a chittering noise. Its claw glowed a silver color before snipping into Digger. The stufful winced in pain moving back as he growled at the Krabby. "Leer!" Kimmy spread her legs and clenched her fists. As Digger narrowed his eyes in a leer the Krabby curled into a ball a film covering it as Kimmy cursed to herself. It was using protect. "Tackle!" the attack bounced off the pokemon like it was nothing making Digger shake his head.

The krabby took the chance to send a bubblebeam out at the stuffed animal pokemon. Digger moved back as Kimmy pointed to him. "Hit him with a tantrum." she yelled as the stufful raised his arms and hit the Krabby. The pokemon skidded back. It was obviously a stronger pokemon compared to earlier. Another bubblebeam hit Digger forcing him to try to catch his breath. "Hang in there, hit it with another stomping tantrum." Kimmy stepped forward as then Max joined in jumping a bit to encourage the stufful. Digger moved forward and slammed into the Krabby. The pokemon seemed startled a bit beat up now as it attempted to use metal claw once more. It hit Digger but the stufful was ready. "Finish it off with a tackle." Kimmy watched as Digger tackled the crab. In it's dizziness it had obviously fainted. Kimmy felt a bit bad but the pokemon had provoked them first. "Good job Digger." she smiled. She couldn't wait until he evolved.

Kimmy could tell that Digger was getting tired. After the battle he was out of breath, clinging to her as she looked over at Max in concern. Well she did suppose he over did himself with the Klefki but that didn't matter they had to continue. "If you want to go back in your pokeball just let me know." she told Digger as the shiny nodded his head. It was coming to her realization that she now had almost a whole team of pokemon to use. All the while her goals were in mind if she wanted to prepare for the gyms then all of her team had to be ready.

As was Max when a wild pokemon showed up out of the grass near one of the buildings. An ugly looking thing to Kimmy as the Riolu put up his paws bouncing back and forth. "All right then Max, hit him with a Quick attack." she could get the jump on the opponent. As Max quickly picked up spead and tackled the pokemon to the ground the Gothita got up in a rage. Using Play Nice as Max tried to endure it. "Bite!" Kimmy called out as she placed Digger on the ground so he could get a better look.

Max shot forward again landing his teeth on the pokemon as he staggered backwards. One thing Kimmy noted as she reached the higher levels was the longer the fights got with each pokemon's stamina. The Gothita seemed slightly more stronger but he was staggering too. Flinching the Gothita was unable to attack and it made Kimmy grin. "Alright now hit him with a Metal Claw Max give it all you got!" Max seemed to live for fights like this. As he brought his claws down on the pokemon the Gothita quickly retaliated. A psybeam came tumbling out of the pokemon, but as Max skidded backwards Kimmy knew to finish it off. "Quick attack!" the tired pokemon only saw the Riolu coming to kick him. As he landed back in a corner confused and fainted. Kimmy grinned and watched Max hop over to her. Another victory down and now it was time to move on. "Come on, let's see about seeing some more." she stated as Digger clung to her side.

It wouldn't be long before they were going to be forced to take a break. At least for these two Kimmy could see that Max was also getting tired as they made their way through the urban abandoned buildings. It did make her happy to see them growing so strong though. For now she kept herself low as they searched through the area and that's when she saw the ghost type. The fighting type trainer wasn't a fan of other types but she had grown close to pokemon like her Umbreon. A ghost type would fit... if she didn't like the pokemon she could always trade it. That reminded her that she had a quick ball on her person. It would give Max and Digger a chance to relax.

The Mismagius was close Kimmy pulled the quick ball out and hushed the pokemon behind her. Holding the ball lightly in her hand she tried to get closer to the pokemon. Then with a well placed toss of her hand she threw the quick ball at the creature. Digger was at the ready in case the ball didn't work despite his tired state. Glaring his eyes at the incident he equally hoped that Kimmy caught the pokemon that she wanted.

The Mismagius broke out of the pokeball causing it to fly backwards towards her. Kimmy angirly picked it up clenching it in her fist placing it into her bag. The woman didn't look too happy and she had a second mind to faint the pokemon but she wanted to catch it now more than ever. Max was ready for it a magical leaf attack heading his way as he took it with vigor. Despite the difference in levels he stood strong the riolu giving a huff as he felt Kimmy's anger on himself. "Give it a bite Max! I'm going to throw another ball." now that they were engaged the Riolu shot forward. His head extended he bit down on the ghostly flesh of a pokemon. The mismagius tried to flail around to get the pokemon off but couldn't Kimmy took the time to grab a regular pokeball from her pocket and try again. 

Her arm throw was swift chucking the white and red ball out at the two pokemon. Max jumped away with it flying towards him the ball hitting the wild pokemon and sucking it inside. Max was a little battered from the high leveled pokemon and Kimmy knew she was going to have to find a way to fight it if she didn't catch it. Digger was at a disadvantage, Kimmy crossed her fingers in hope as the pokeball shook back and forth.
