Set in the original region of Arciel, Legends Rising is a route-inspired, but not strictly route-based, Pokemon roleplay. Pick a faction, pick a class, and strike out into the wild to take on the League, master Contest coordination, research the mysteries of Pokemon and Arciel, and much, much more. Will you be a classic trainer? A criminal? A farmer? Choose your destiny on Legends Rising.
Through just her first travels in Arciel, Shalin had learned that this region was far wilder than any of the others she had been to. She had discovered both an extensive cave network home to strange microbes that made everything inside bio-luminescent, as well as how hospitable even volcanic craters could be to certain Pokémon. This was merely the tip of the iceberg, and she was excited to keep delving deeper.
Eight weeks after reporting the missing Wartortle and Absol had been found at the bottom of the caverns, she had received a secure e-mail from the local Rangers' Guild, delivered to both herself and a second recipient she did not recognize, but she assumed to be Senara. It appeared that the trainer of these Pokémon was badly injured during a similar expedition deep into the caverns, and the female had been discharged from Ash City's main hospital just recently. The Guild simply couldn't spare the manpower, and as such, were reaching out to the two. Having nearly been separated from Levy during her trip in the cold, underground caves, she felt obligated to make sure this trainer and her Pokémon were reunited. She wrote a reply to the other recipient, CCing the Rangers' Guild group email as well:
Hello, it's Shalin. Senara (at least I think this is you?), traveling with you was a blast, and I'd love to do it again. I feel at least morally obligated to reunite those two Pokémon with their trainer. Would you be down to head through the Weeping Forest and track down the trainer that Wartortle and Absol belong to? If you don't feel like going on a wild goose chase, can we at least make arrangements for me to pick them up somewhere and I'll deliver them myself?
Please let me know as soon as you can.
Shalin Nariya
P.S. I remember your interest in Caprice when we traveled. Well, here she is now.
Attached to the email was a picture of a giant Ninetales outfitted with riding gear. She was several inches taller than Shalin was, her trainer standing next to her.
[ I'm totally free to do that! Awesome! I've been heading towards the Weeping Forest anyway so it's perfect! Want to meet up right where Route 7 enters the woods? I'll bring my ride Pokemon--that should make searching so much easier, right? ^w^ ]
[ And AH!! She's so big now!!! That fire stone was worth the waiting for right?? >w< ]
[ See you soon! Senara ]
She had been heading towards the Weeping Forest, but not really for the sake of the two mysterious Pokemon they'd found in the cavern. After turning the little guys over to the Rangers and them giving them a look-over, they'd been returned to her for safe keeping until they found the trainer they belonged to. In truth she hadn't taken them out very much. A trip to the pool for the Wartortle and an attempt at giving the Absol a poffin now and then, just so the poor things weren't locked up for too long. But weeks had gone by. She had places to go, things to do, people to terrorize (for fun and profit!), so she'd kinda forgotten about them. They were kept in her PC with the rest of her crew, presumably having a fine time. It wasn't until she got an email from the Rangers that they'd found the trainer who owned the Pokemon--or rather her location--but didn't have anyone near enough to send in search of her. Well. Senara didn't have any reason to go rummaging through the Weeping Forest for some hippie chick who'd lost her Pokemon.
Sure they'd probably have a nice reward, but they'd gone this long without them. What was another week or two while she wrapped up some much-needed training time?
It was in the middle of her clicking off the email and planning on going about her day that another one popped up from the girl who'd accompanied her in the caverns, asking if she would be able to go with her to the forest--that she hadn't been planning on going to in any rush anyway--and if not where to go to get the Pokemon to do it herself. Wow.
What a little martyr.
And she used that fire stone I saw already, huh? Well, your value just went down...
But I'm not going to let her go off and get a reward on her own. Not a chance.
So she sent back a peppy little response, unloaded the two "borrowed" Pokemon from her PC, and packed for a hike through the woods. And by "hike", she intended to have Chanceux just steamroll their way through like the twenty-foot steel snake that he was. Up and up and up the route they went through the snowy landscape of Route 7 until the woods came into view in the distance. Senara adjusted her recently bleached blonde hair to behind her ear, then re-tucked said ear into her 'muffs again. Brr, it was brisk.
Once she was in sight of the entry to the woods she pat Chanceux on the side of the head with a quick, "Arrêtez-vous ici pour l'instant." He came to a rolling halt and lowered his head so she could step off, bright red boots crunching in the freshly fallen snow. Now, was Shalin here already, or had she beat the other girl to the punch? Come to think of it, would she even recognize Senara? She'd had pink hair last they met...
Shalin smiled when she saw Senara's quick reply. Her spelunking partner seemed just as excited as she was for making an unsuspecting trainer happy. There needed to be more people in the world like her - while Senara wasn't exactly going out of her way to help reunite the Pokémon with their owner, she appreciated that the girl was willing to help those in need on the way to her destination. She sent back a quick reply:
"Perfect! I'm at Birch's east gate right now. Shouldn't be more than a few hours out. If I don't see you when I get to the woods, I'll send you another email. Caprice is the fastest way I have to get to you - just look for her.
See you soon!"
See you soon, indeed. Shalin packed away her tech and geared up Caprice, the fire-type bolting east at her trainer's command. The weather wasn't too bad for a brisk ride - seasonally very warm. It allowed the Ninetales to run much faster than normal for a winter's day - even breaking into Quick Attack from time to time.
That was to change late afternoon into the evening. Another snowstorm was coming, and a big one at that - up to nine inches of snow was predicted late afternoon going into the evening. The heaviest stuff was supposed to fall north of Ash City, but there would still be a lot of snowfall in the foothills and the forest itself. Making a shelter that evening would be a challenge, to say the least.
If was only when the fire-type made a slight north turn, following the road, that she noticed a tunnel-like dip in the terrain just to the north of her. Senara said she brought a riding Pokémon with her, and the only Pokémon she could think of that made a trail that size was an Onix or Steelix. At least she had the decency to not tear up the main trail, but that displacement would definitely be a hazard once the snow stopped falling.
GZ1xsTrCp_ {50+ to identify Senara with her bleached hair}
Shalin arrived at the entrance to the forest mid to late afternoon, some ominous clouds rolling in from the west. She saw a young girl dressed in bright colors and with bleached hair, but no Senara. There was, however, a Steelix next to the girl. That must have been the Pokémon that created the trail of displaced earth. Confused, she sent Senara another reply:
"I have arrived at the entrance and am right on the south side of the trail. Where are you at? I don't see you."
Senara ran her hand over Chanceux while flicking through her phone with the other. Hm, no new messages yet, maybe she was en route and would be here soon. She did a quick check in the pocket of her coat for the pair of "escort" Pokemon. Yep, still there. Not like their pokeballs would teleport away if she wasn't careful. The only Pokemon she had with that ability was back in the PC. Hm, she should have brought Coccinelle, actually. Teleporting back home after this was done would save her a lot of travel time...
Well, if they wound up too deep into the woods, she could make for Ash City and get her from there. Exit plan made. Now where the heck was her self-proclaimed partner?
An email popped up on her screen and she pull down the notification to read it without going off the screen she'd been on--which was just a ChuTube video of trio of Foongus humming old game music--before she looked up and glanced around. Where was...ah.
"Shalin, I'm over heeeeere~" She called, waving her hand over her head and putting on her sweetest face. Between the fair more sensible clothes and the pink hair when they first met she wasn't too surprised that Shalin hadn't recognized her like, well, this. But it was alright. Senara walked up to the woman and her admittedly gorgeous Ninetails. "Aw, look at you! I would say 'you were so little last I saw you' but, heheh, you weren't!" Chanceux's huge head lowered to the same level as everyone else, and he let out a low grumble in greeting, the sound like rocks rolling over a hilltop. "This is Chanceux, my big boy~ Well, actually, he's small for a Steelix, but that just makes him more versatile!"
Closer inspection of Senara would show another change besides her blonde hair; her eye had been covered last they'd met, but the patch was gone and replaced with an odd looking...something in the socket. It was clearly a glass eye, but that was just it: it was mostly translucent, made of what looked to be pure crystal, and deep blue in color. It didn't look at all human. But for her, whose aura-sight only worked with both "eye" "open", it was a life saver. She gave a quick once-over on Shalin while she spoke.
Hm, it's just very...green. No real shape or form...wonder what the color means.
"So how have you two been? Found any more secret treasure troves over the holiday?~"
Shalin Nariya @mod WC: 445 Example of eye is here!! (Just without the pupil inside.)
The forest was rather quiet at the moment, granted it was just the entrance. However somewhere deep inside of it, shadows had started to move about. When y’all enter, you both will find it getting darker… slowly… but progressively. These woods were something, weren’t they? Look at that tree over there with icicles dangling down from its pine needles. It sure was crying.

Shalin shifted around on Caprice, keeping her eyes open for her spelunking companion. It took a somewhat loud call from the brightly-dressed Senara to make her aware that she had actually been the second one to arrive. Of course, the sharp-witted woman was in the one direction she didn't look. Wait a minute. That was definitely Senara, but did she ever look different. She had even dyed her hair a different color...either that, or this was her natural hair color. It was more likely that this was her natural hair color - a similar shade of golden blonde. "You really didn't want me to lose sight of you in the woods, did you? Bet you could woo quite the crowd of men looking like--"
Just then, a loud rumbling noise akin to an avalanche filled the air around them, Shalin feeling a sudden and sharp hop back. Caprice's smile had faded, the Ninetales tensing up as if preparing for a battle. Shalin's heart started to rush - she had no combat training herself, and had no interest in learning to fight from aboard a Pokémon. Leave that to the people that work at medieval and Renaissance fairs. Both of them dropped their guard again when Senara introduced Chanceux to them. "Phew, don't scare me like that!"
Shalin also noticed Senara had a false eye of some kind. She couldn't help but exhibit a confused look on her face, holding back the snarky comment she was originally going to make. "A Steelix, though? As far as I know, we're not going mountain climbing, and there's probably not much room for him to maneuver without destroying the environment." She was sitting atop a fire-type, though - she didn't have much room to talk by taking one of those into a densely-wooded area.
When Senara changed the subject again, Shalin was happy to share stories of her exploration. "There's a volcano to the northeast of here - took a trip there to warm up and meet some really cool fire-type Pokémon. I'll have to tell you all about it." She paused for a few seconds, recalling somewhere else she'd been. "On the way there, I actually traveled through these woods not too long ago. If you see fairy-type Pokémon, especially young girls with fairy-type Pokémon, run away from them. I don't know if you believe in magic, but it's very real." She shivered for a bit despite the fire-type's warmth. "Just take my word for it - unless you really want to know, I'd rather not share the details."
Caprice slowly walked past Senara and Chanceux, waving them up. "But enough of that. Since I've been through these woods before, we'll lead the way!" Shalin wasn't shivering anymore, but she was still subtly shaking. If they ran into that fairy girl again, she might get two victims instead of one...

Woo a crowd of--Senara felt her cheeks flush and she batted a lock of bright blonde hair behind her shoulder. "Hahah, I guess gentlemen prefer blondes?" She forced a laugh, and pulled it off well enough, even if the thought of having anybody flirting with her made her skin crawl like a layer of bugs. Ew. No. Never. Thankfully whatever end to that sentence Shalin had was interrupted by her big beautiful boy. He looked a little awkward, grumbling a small apologetic noise, quieter than the first. Senara raised her hands up to scratch at his chin and coo into his cheek. "Aww, he's just saying hello. Ne le prends pas trop fort, ma chérie~" How rude, accusing her precious Pokemon of being scary. Some of them were genuinely frightening and loved it, but Chanceux was as chill as a giant metal snake could be. Her cheeks puffed out in slight annoyance.
"He's only, like, six feet high when he's laying flat. And he's not going to be knocking trees over. Jeez," she nuzzled into her Steelix's cheek again, "I know what I'm doing."
Shalin said something about some wayward Fairy-type trainers out here? Senara glanced towards the woods. Completely deadpan she returned her gaze to Shalin. "I don't know if you believe in magic"...HAH. Should I tell her about how I can see her literal life energy floating around her head? Senara only scoffed and waved a hand dismissively. "Isn't that even more a reason to have a big strong Steel-type Pokemon around? Only a real dummy would bring a Fairy into a fight with a Steelix. And I've got a lot more Fairy 'bane' where he came from. We'll be totally fine."
Chanceux took his cue to lay flat against the earth, and Senara climbed onto his back, giving him a pat on the head from her spot seated directly behind it. "Allez-y doucement, hon. Lorsque nous trouvons une clairière, vous pouvez lever la tête et scanner la zone à la recherche de personnes." Chanceux let out another rumble, and began to slither forward into the woods. It was quite a sight--the branches were thick with snow and ice that reflected the light filtering in from above, covering everything in a faint glow. It wasn't as beautiful as the mysterious caverns and glowing moss of the mines, but she could still appreciate the pretty scenery. "We'll follow your lead, then~"
Shalin Nariya @mod WC: 424 Chanceux is a good noodle. >:T (3/8)
The darkness of the woods around you continues to get darker despite the thickness of the underbrush remaining virtually the same. A chill runs over your skin, one that you cannot shake with a shiver or two. The silence here is deafening now. You can't even seem to hear yourselves moving. If you choose to speak, it will sound like a whisper no matter how loudly you talk. And then after more than a few of walking, you hear a much louder- CLICK. CLICK. CLICK. Where is it coming from? You can't tell here. CLACK. CLACK. CLACK. It is not the crunch of snow underfoot. It's too metallic for that. And then- CLICK. CLACK. CLICK. CLACK.
Shalin was not at all surprised at Senara blowing her off. After all, her story was quite far-fetched (not the Pokémon!) from an outsider's perspective. Science had come a long way since the days of old, and the paranormal explained a lot of what science couldn't. But this girl, as she vividly remembered, did not have telekinetic powers--powers of the mind. Hers were rooted in the fae. Fairy-type Pokémon were discovered fairly recently, human knowledge of them much more limited than more conventional types.
"...You know how many trainers of Psychic-type Pokémon are psychics in their own right? It is sometimes the same with Fairy-type trainers." She heard her voice trailing as the light seemed to dim around them. "Some Fairy-type trainers have powers inexplicable by science." She started projecting her voice more, but her voice continued to trail. Even the evening forest ambiance, such as the sound of Hoothoot, was fading. "...Can you hear me?" She asked Senara, barely able to hear her own voice for an inexplicable reason.
A quarter mile later, Caprice tensed up as the clash of metal echoed through the woods several times. "What is it, girl?" Shalin asked, unable to hear her own words over the clanking. Thank Arceus Ninetales had sensitive hearing. Caprice was growling, but her rider could not hear it. "Hello? Can you hear me?"

Senara laid her body nearly flat against Chanceux, arms crossed under her head as she rested there. Shalin was speaking as they went forth. Talking about how Psychic-type trainers could be psychics in and of themselves. Senara wanted to laugh aloud. She knew all about this nonsense already. Hell, she was one of those weirdos with so-called magic herself. Though if psychics had Psychic-type Pokemon then what did Aura Guardians have? Lucario, according to Harriet? That seemed like a shallow selection of...literally one Pokemon. Maybe Ghost-type had some connection to it, too...hm...
Was Shalin getting quieter or was she just zoning out on the conversation.
With a small frown she sat back up and looked around, eyes scanning of flashes of color among the bramble and snow--literal lights of life that she could see. She could hear clicking like metal through the growing deathly quiet. Interesting. Was this a Pokemon? What kind of Pokemon had an ability like this, if it was? She was reaching for the pocket of her coat where her pokeballs were held all the same, ready to grab one if need be.

[Aura Roll: +5]
[Using "Aura Sight" to try and see any living creatures nearby]
Shalin Nariya @mod WC: 226 I don't know if this is a thing, but trying it! (4/8)
Senara would see something strange in her 'vision'. There was life in the trees, but everything seemed... subdued... as if by a haze of something she was not seeing. The click-clacks seemed to stop abruptly, however, as they came to a strange clearing with no added light. There were no trees, but it was as if someone had turned off the sun. Standing there in the clearing was a strange shadowy almost human figure who made a strange hand sign before seemingly fading away.
Shalin was growing ever more concerned when she did not hear a word from Senara. "Senara, can you hear me?" she called out again. "Senaraaaaaaaaa!" She couldn't hear that last shout at all. Not again - she had already gone deaf once thanks to the little girl's pranks. Was this more fae magic? She didn't know sign language, and even if she did, Senara probably didn't, either. Even the clanking started to wither in volume, until there was nothing but dead, eerie, even frightening silence.
Caprice continued to lead the way deeper into the woods. As the ladies approached a clearing, the light around them seemed to fade, as though the light (but not the heat) of the sun was being blocked out completely. The trees were still visible, but there was seemingly no backdrop, as though the gaps in the trees beckoned an endless abyss. Fae were mostly creatures of light. This reeked of magic of the dark--the opposite of light. Fae pranks were mostly out of mischief and mayhem. Wielders of the shadows were often far more sinister. She kept her right hand buried in Caprice's fur to help hold on, while her left hand clutched Flit's Poké Ball, ready to defend herself and Senara at a moment's notice.

I don't think something is really darkening the forest...I think it's just dampening our senses. Even my aura sight. What kind of Pokemon or person would have that power?
Senara barely registered Shalin's voice over the deafening silence, but she saw the strange silhouette perfectly fine. They signed something before vanishing further into the utter darkness. Great. Cryptic. "We shouldn't follow them," she spoke at her normal volume, but it hit her ears like a whisper. Ah, right. Shalin might not even hear her. If she started to move on ahead then that would be a problem. So she needed to find a way to cut out the issue. Drawing out Baby Girl's pokeball she decided to quickly stop this charade before it got any worse. If it were a psychic playing tricks on them, Baby Girl's Dark-type would be able to see through it, even if the same wouldn't be said for Senara or Shalin. If it was something related to aura, though, would it still have effect?
And what if it really was some kind of fairy magic? Senara couldn't cross that off on the list of possibilities. Nothing in this world followed logic these days. But in that case, she had enough knowledge of fairy tales and Fairy-types from back home. As much as she loathed the thought of it, that information might be useful after all.
She clicked the button on the purple-jewel-covered pokeball and in a flash of red light Baby Girl was standing atop Chanceux's head, looking around with wide, yellow-sapphire eyes. Her golden fur still glittered and gleamed despite the lack of sunlight.
"Voyez-vous quelque chose de mal, petite fille?" She spoke-whispered again, "Pouvez-vous m'entendre très bien? Tout est muet pour moi."
Shalin Nariya @mod WC: 308 Dark-types have their uses!
Baby Girl’s senses as a dual Dark/Ghost type would give her an advantage before any other: a sense very familiar to her was about. She would look up into the trees and see the first unexpected spectator: a Dusclops small but mischievous looking quickly fade into the tree as if to try and conceal herself. There was another movement, but the Sableye wouldn’t see it even if she whipped around to. Well, that answered at least one question as to why “life” senses were dulled here.
Shalin could have sworn she heard Senara's voice, though extremely faint. It was far too faint for her to understand. She wanted to keep calling out to her, but realized it would be futile. She had been shouting, and even at point blank range, could barely be heard at best case. Thinking for a bit as Caprice advanced up to the outer edge of the clearing, she had an idea. It would be slow and inconvenient, but at least she could convey thoughts. Shalin pulled back on Caprice to slow her to a walk, then took her phone back out and started writing a message to send to Senara:
Something appears to be suppressing sound in these woods. I can barely hear you, let alone understand you. This might be a better means of communication if we need it for something vital.
Her head tilted upward at a sudden flash of light, a golden-furred Sableye now standing atop the Steelix. A Sableye was a strange choice to fight Fairy-types with - they were the only type of Pokémon the small ghost was not good at defending against. Then again, it could be possible that it wasn't fae magic after all. Between the sound suppression and the lack of sunlight filtering into the trees, this phenomenon could be caused by one of many types of Pokémon with supernatural powers: Ghost-types, Psychic-types, Dark-types, and Fairy-types were all Pokémon with powers that could make drastic changes to local environments. Senara appeared to know what she was doing; Shalin tugged on Caprice again to instruct her to stop. She gestured forward, letting the brightly-dressed woman pass.
Alas, when Baby Girl jerked her head towards the trees and began to snarl, her words did not reach Senara at all. She was able to see aura, not read minds. But the way her Pokemon bent into a lunge and bared her teeth told her she could see something they didn't in the treeline. Senara swallowed, trying to push her voice louder: "Que vois-tu?"
Baby Girl looked between Senara and Shalin--sparing just a second to raise a paw in greeting--and then, frowning, tried...something. She held up both her hands in a circle in the middle of her face, drew her lower lip in so only her top fangs were sticking out, and then, lowering her hands, stretched them out in front of her and made a low "rrrruruuu" noise to the best of her ability. Senara stared at the little game of charades in confusion.
[>50 to succeed at reading Baby Girl's charades, just 'cause! m07pmz|2p_ [HAHAHAHAHA nope. Shalin you try it. xD;;]
"Je ne sais pas ce que la danse a à voir avec ça, petite fille." Senara mumbled, and looked up from Baby Girl to see Shalin's screen, just as her disgruntled Pokemon started waving her paws about with two of her three fingers curled in in a much harder-to-miss cue. Ah, yes, typing on the phones would be better if they couldn't hear well. She took hers out and typed a message of her own. [ Baby Girl can see something--since she's Ghost/Dark she should be able to break through another ghost or a psychic's power. But I don't understand what she's "saying" she saw. I'll let her point us in a safe direction. ]
With the go-ahead from Shalin she directed Baby Girl to stand on Chanceux's nose, so he could see her better. She did so, still muttering some choice words under her breath, before looking around for what looked like the safest way to travel, and pointing to it.
Shalin Nariya @mod WC: 357 I love it when I fail rolls like this. ...outside of battles. (6/8)
Baby Girl directs you both through the forest and away from the Ghosts Type sense-- only for the area to get darker now? What was going on now? A particularly dark shadow seemed to move from under a tree and a Click Click Click sound was back again like the metallic sound of gears now even. Suddenly a strange phantom-like body, very similar to a Dusclops but covered in a sheet almost? And hard to discern appears! "BOO!!!" Its voice booms over the deafening silence.
Post by Shalin Nariya on Feb 22, 2020 18:33:40 GMT
When Shalin thought it couldn't get any darker in what was supposed to be broad daylight, the light continued to dim around her, and in a very creepy way, too. There was no panorama of trees around her - only nearby trees within fifty or so feet were visible. Come to think of it, nothing outside of a hundred feet was visible, but everything else within that radius was bright as though she was in daylight. It was also eerily quiet, the girl not hearing a thing - not even Caprice's breathing. As the Ninetales moved, the illuminated section of the forest seemed to move with her. - it was one of the most unsettling things she had seen in a long time. "This is why I never liked ghost-types," Shalin said in her normal voice, but it probably seemed like she was just mouthing it to anyone nearby. Realizing Senara probably couldn't hear her, she repeated the message in a text.
2_8gxKzYp_ {Wisdom save {DC 14} vs. fright: 19 + 4 = 23 - PASS}
A phantasmal shout boomed all around the trainers, Shalin flinching but maintaining her cool otherwise. Caprice interpreted the flinching as a command for a sharp turn, turning in what she thought was the direction of the shout. Her mouth foamed with flames, ready to shoot at the noise's source at a moment's notice. The rider turned around to make sure Senara was okay. She saw the golden-hued Sableye appear to be miming something she recognized as a Dusclops. Good thing she had climbed at least part of the way up Mount Pyre during that journey. "I think your Sableye thinks there is a Dusclops around here," Shalin messaged before facing forward again.

Senara side-eyed the message on Shalin's phone, then rolled said eyes and looked away without responding. Didn't like Chanceux, didn't like Ghost-types--which her little precious starter was--just what did this girl like? How rude. As the darkness around them grew even greater Senara leaned closer to Chanceux's back, who seemed to stall just a little more with the encroaching shadow, but Baby Girl kept pointing ahead and giving chatters of encouragement. She could see through these illusions. There was nothing to be scared of. Nothing at a--
"BOO!!!"
"PUTAIN DE--!!" Senara yelled, whether or not it broke through the silence or not, and her head swung towards the direction of the sheet (??) covered creature that had jumped out at them. Just like that Baby Girl was leaping at it, claws extended to latch onto the damn thing's head. If there was a sneaky bastard of a Ghost-type under here, then a few sharp Feint Attacks should make it leave them well enough alone! Shalin even confirmed that Baby Girl had been miming out a Dusclops. Of course! Those things were like black holes, sucking in light and energy with their frightening gaze.
But why would a Dusclops be hiding under a blanket? It was already a scary ghost...
"Ne l'attaque pas encore! Ce pourrait être son entraîneur!"
Baby Girl’s claws would sink into the sheet, but just like that, it seemed to immediately shrink and fall downwards. Hopping out from below the sheet now, however, was a pair of Zorua each of whom were snickering and laughing. The Dusclops who had been watching appeared behind a nearby tree and seemed to be laughing along with them. Sound had returned, and light would soon follow. Seems you both (and your Pokemon) got trapped in their little scare tactics game— but they’re not attacking so… perhaps they are otherwise harmless?
