...Did he used too much strength again? Either way, he did it just fine at the very least! It's slightly off center... maybe they will fix it! One more job, just one more! He only have a little bit of a time before his shift is over. As he's a minor, they definitely won't allow him to work as long as the more permanent workers. After oiling the door hinges to make sure that it doesn't creak (it thankfully doesn't), Agate approached the Foreman again.

"Oh, it's you! Your job is about to be over soon, huh. What are you going to do?"

"I'm thinking of doing something that can be done quickly before I'm finished with my shift if possible... How about I do a bit of a woodwork?"

"Woodworking, eh... Well, how about that? The windowsill need to be installed. I think you can do that, how about it?"

"...I'm not sure windowsill is my specialty, but I'll try!"

Agate returned to meet the supervisor from before. He quickly instructed the youth how to make windowsill, then how to install it. As Agate is not told to make it, but to install it instead, he simply followed the instruction from the supervisor, hoping that this time around... he didn't go off center or something... That would be bad. After making sure that it's glued together well, Agate would check the alignment to make sure that his job is finally over... or something

In the end, all that working is making him darn tired! After seeing that he did good, Agate reported to the Foreman. He have probably worked an adult worth of jobs, but even so, Agate doesn't mind this... he's liking it!

"And here you go, your payment for the day! I never thought that I would say this, but great job, kid! You managed to prove me wrong over and over again. Sans the mishap on laying the brick, everyone had a favorable reaction toward you."

"Eh? But there are a hostile one though... he looked younger than the rest, and...."

"Oh, him? You don't have to worry about him. He's the boss' son. He's forced to work and well... ah that's not important! Anyway, goodluck out there, kid! What do you want to do next?"

"I'm thinking to go to Ash City actually... and after that, I'll probably do the same... Construction job again. Pretty sure that although my arms are all sore now I'm getting stronger, so I can do much more!" Agate flexed his arms. Ow, it's tingly after all.. He exerted himself too much huh...

"Hahah! Well, be careful out there! Make sure you rested up a plenty before you go on a journey. I might send a letter to my coworker in Ash. Maybe once you got there he'll be interested in hiring you!"

And with that, Agate left the site, feeling accomplished (and stronger!)
