Both Agate and Riku could not stop holding their breath. It was... intense, in many way. The Lucario who they couldn't defeat just now... has given up. Or perhaps, purposely let herself get caught. It was barely too... he could have sworn that the Pokeball creaked a bit as it shook. When it sat completely still, Agate sighed in relief. Josh seem to be in hurry. Well, that's fine with him. "Sure, here's my number... and he watched as the older guy just like that left."
Huh, probably something important. Agate suddenly noticed that his eyes are... still seeing things. Riku is blue, Schera is silver, Kagari is red and fiery... Azalea is bubbly blue with gloomy feeling inside... Vorpal is icy blue, yet warm at the same time, a paradox. He wondered if these images are more like a visual cues for his feeling toward them or something... and suddenly his eyes landed on the Charmander's Pokeball... The light is fading.
Agate looked at Riku, who had no idea what's going on, but regardless was able to sense the boy's distress. Agate did not wait. He immediately ran as best as he could. Adrenaline pumping in his system. He need to get to Ash as soon as possible! He did not care anymore whether he have to expand all of his energy or making his legs doing all the work, but... well, let's just say that Agate pretty much gone off road to cut the travel time needed. He could feel his feet hurting from his shoes sole being so thin... He could feel the hard rock pressing against his feet soles.
But even so, he did not stop. He had no idea whether his feet is bleeding or not. All in his mind is to ensure how this little one ended up safe and sound. The moment he saw the gate of the town, Agate's footsteps did not slow down. If anything, he ran faster. He did not stop even to look for the direction. Instead, he tossed Schera's Pokeball up, and issued an order for her to find the red roof of the Pokemon Center. He only could hope that it was only a visual hallucination rather than some sort of omen of something dangerous that will come. Agate ran following Schera. The moment the right turned red, he immediately crossed. He could feel his body slowly giving up from the pain. He can feel his body asking him to stop this abuse, yet... None of those mattered.
He braked, right in front of the building. He has arrived.
